Personality:she is usually happy though she can get herself into the worse imagined situations though its only because of her split personality gets her into those situations

Bio: Jason runs a small theater in the center of town with a small cast and crew of high school students wanting to aim for a career in acting. He personally isn't interested in their dreams, but he still keeps the place in good shape for them to use. He is a very quiet man and prefers to spend time alone, even when outdoors. Even though he lives among humans, he's never been found out and wishes to keep it that way, which is why he generally avoids others of his kind whenever possible.

Jason finished locking up the theater for the night and turned to walk out onto the bridge that went over the thin river. He stopped briefly to look down over the edge at the dark water. It never flowed too fast, always slow and steady. He wished humans could learn something from it. The creatures never seemed to just sit still and look around until age rendered them wrinkled and weak. What a waste.

He craned his head back to look up at the stars, glad the clouds hadn't come in tonight. Everything seemed so perfect. It might be a good omen, but he doubted it. With a sigh he wrapped the scarf tighter around his neck and buttoned his jacket. Time to get home, get some sleep, and wake early again so those kids wouldn't be standing around in the cold. For once he hoped they would take it easy and relax. They were young and would have their fame soon enough.

Maria was walking around as she adored watching the river flow.she had been on the sidewalk underneath the bridge as she had a long white dress on and a white jacket on with brown boots.Maria kneeled down as she put her hand slightly in the water feeling how it flowed."the flow pattern of the river is soothing its slow but steady"Maria said with a smile

As Maria took her hand out she notice Jason on the bridge. i wonder who that is? Maria asked herself as she stood up."hello there"Maria said with a smile as her long blond curly hair went down right above her tail bone.

Jason stopped and turned back again, frowning at the lovely lone girl under the bridge. She was lucky she hadn't been swept off by anybody yet. Stupid young human. Or at least that's what he could guess. She had a strange aura about her, one he couldn't quite put his finger on.

"It's dangerous to be out here alone. Squads will be coming through the streets any moment now, and they won't take pity on you." The enemy Squads, as they liked to be called, were sent through the city every night in attempts to take prisoners away secretly. They weren't very good at it, since most anyone could predict when they would appear, but apparently this girl did not.

Maria knew of the squads though she didn't care for if they took her prisonor she would just suck them dry if they did."i know"Maria said in a calm but happy tone she was a bit odd though thats the way she's always been she is a bit dense.

Though she is a very optimistic young women,she never seems to hit rock bottom as she was quite for anyone to crush her dreams and hopes"what are you doing out here so late? are you out because you like seeing the river too?"Maria asked Jason as she smiled at him with a bright smile

Jason shook his head. He wasn't going to start any idle chit chat with the girl. "Get to safety," he said before starting to walk off again. Hopefully she would follow the advice. If not, then it wasn't his problem. Countless young humans dissappeared on nights like these all the time. She would just become part of the ever growing number.

Maria slightly tilted her head and went the direction to the bridge.as she was now walking toward the bridge she climbed onto the railing's flat surface and stood there looking upon the moon. "so tonight is the night moon spirit?"Maria thought as tonight she will have to feast on a demon and drink their blood other than human blood

Maria spoke as it seemed she was speaking to the moon."looks like i have to stay out here...i don't mind staying outside at all i love seeing how you glisten as i can see the reflection of you in the steady flowing river"

Jason made a point to ignore her as he unlocked his car and slid in, starting the engine up immediately. He was looking forward to some quiet reading time after all the clumsy accidents the newest member of the crew got into. He hadn't been happy at all at the repairs that would be needed, but that was for tomorrow to worry about.

As Maria saw Jason leave she sighed."so much for making friends...i get the impression he doesn't like me much"Maria said to herself."i might just follow him home...no that's too creepy"

Maria said with a laugh."i guess i'll look around town"Maria jumped down off of the railing and walked around for a bit.

As Jason started off he heard the telltale marching footsteps approaching toward the city center. He slowed his car on the empty street and sighed. A girl as stubborn as her was likely to be the first to go. The homeless men huddled in alleyways were certainly not high on the Squad's list. They'd take a young girl like here even over the toughest man in the city anyday. Why a matter like this bothered him now was unclear. He had no reason or gain in sheltering the girl. But he also knew he wouldn't get much sleep if he didn't turn around. He shook his head and shifted the gears to back up.

It didn't take long to find her, and when he did Jason pulled up right next to her and leaned part way out the window. "Get in," he ordered. There was very little time now until the Squads would start showing up.

Maria was a bit shocked to see him again and smiled as she opened his car door and sat down in the fron seat next to his as she belted herself in.

She stayed quiet as in someway a bit afraid to talk to him but it could be because she was shocked to see him again.though her fangs began poking out as the feast was drawing near.As she remembered about the feast for vampires she began to sense he wasn't a human w-wait if he's not human...then what is he?

Jason sped along as fast as he could to get home before the Squads closed in. He spoke to her while keeping his eyes focused on the road. "You're just staying for the night, understand? Tomorrow I'll drop you off at your parents house." He assumed the girl was about around 16 or 17. Her parents must be worried out of their minds that she wandered off so late.

Maria frowned a bit."Alright but....i don't live with my parents..."Maria said in a slightly happy tone but a bit less than earlier as she slightly remembered that they had died when she was 3.

Though she didn't tell Jason the reason she didn't live with her parents unless he was going to ask her why or why not she didn't live with her parents.

Jason pulled into the small parking garage of the apartment complex he lived in and quickly shut off the engine and got out, walking around to her door. "Well, you've got to have somewhere to live, and tomorrow you're going back there." Once she stepped out he closed the car door and took her hand, hurrying her inside the tiny lobby and to the elevators.

"i do live somewhere though not a place i like going back to..."Maria said with a little laugh as she was even making her own words sound suspecious.im just making myself sound more suspecious...though its quite adventurious to sound this way Maria thought as she smiled as she held onto Jason's hand as it seemed he was in a hurry. looks like he's hurrying because of the squads... Maria thought within her mind.

Jason let go of her hand as they got to the elevator, it's worn out doors scraping open to let them in. The noisy old elevator clunked and sputtered the whole way up just as it always did. Hopefully someday the maintenence crew would get to looking at it. He turned to her. "There's many places in the city where you can go if you live in an abusive situation. Wandering the city is no excuse for not wanting to return home." Soon the doors creaked open again and he stepped out and went straight to a door opposite the elevator.

"my situation isn't anything like that its more like i always have to take medicine and stay in bed all day and everyday"Maria said in a less bit happy tone.

She smiled a bit trying to not let the memories get to her.Maria followed Behind Jason when the doors of the Elevator opened and straight ahead.

Jason unlocked the door and pushed it open, letting her walk in first. "Whatever the situation, you'll be going to stay somewhere safe." He knew the girl was purposely trying to skirt around the truth, but he didn't feel like pushing the matter. All he cared about was getting the girl settled in so that he could do so himself.

Inside the apartment it was sparse in furnishings, but still neat and cozy. The kitchen and living room were squished into one. The tiny bathroom led off from the kitchen and the door to Jason's bedroom was to the left. He shrugged his coat off and hung it on the hook by the door. "Go ahed and have a seat while I find some extra blankets. I'll see what I can make you for dinner in a moment."

Maria liked how Jason's apartment looked it made her feel safe and at home. this place makes me feel like those doctors can't hurt or give me those medicines that don't even do anything for my illness Maria thought to herself as she looked up at Jason and smiled

"okay"Maria said as she sat down on one of the funiture couches. looks like i will be heading back to the hospital tomarrow..
Maria thought as she doubted at the hospital they would have a donor for her to treat her illness

Jason closed the door and disappeared into his room for a moment to get some extra blankets for her. He folded them neatly beside her on the couch, then went to the fridge. He hoped she wasn't picky about food. All he had in there was a bunch of cheap vegetables and fruits from a street market. "How about some celery and peanut butter?" he asked.

Maria Smiled."that sounds good"Maria said as she liked any food except the hospital's food.They never late Maria eat any food like this all they give maria is food with medicine in it.

Jason got out the peanut butter jar and frowned at finding it nearly empty. It was only when company over that he realized how little he had. He managed to scrape some out from the bottom and spread it over the celery, then laid them on a napkin and took them to her. "Here," he said as he handed it to her over the back of the couch.

"thank you"Maria said as she gently took the Celery with peanut butter and began eating it its delicious..i haven't tasted anything as good as this in months ever since i was immited to the hospital

Maria Thought as she took another bite of it.As soon as she swallowed the piece she was eating she thought she would introduce herself."Im Maria by the way"Maria said in a gentle tone

"Jason," he replied. He went over to the empty high backed chair in the corner and picked up a book to read from the basket beside it. "Feel free to use anything in the house tonight." He sat back in the chair and opened up the book to a spot with a worn out old marking ribbon.

Maria nodded as she finished her celery with Peanut butter."thank you for letting me stay here
"Maria said in a soft tone."you know you can ask me anything you want to know about me,i'd be happy to answer if you have any questions even if its about where i was before i was outside"Maria said with a smile."i actually ran away from the hospital"Maria admitted

Jason looked up from his book. He wondered why she wanted to be so open with him. Maybe she just wanted someone to listen, since she seemed troubled about going back home. Or to the hospital, if she was telling the truth, but he doubted it. "Tell me about this matter with the hospital then."
