Eve parked her bike in the garage, closing the door behind her, she walked into the house and tossed her keys onto the counter. "Luke!!! I am home!" she called out to him, she hoped that he was okay since it was a full moon and it was natrual for him to fill some discomfort with trying not to change. She made her way down the stairs, once she reached his room she started to knock on his bedroom door to see if he was in it.

"I'm here.. but don't open the door! I might dash out to look at the moon.. It's really bad this time.. I don't know if I can.." he called out to her, rolling away from the door. He could almost hear the moon calling out to him, begging for him to gaze at it and shed the blood of hundreds.

"Okay but you don't have to stay in there all night." she said to him as she flipped a switch by the door, it made all the windows in his room and the other rooms on the floor to show a sunny meadow, it was to help with his little problem and she hoped that it worked for him. "I will be in the kitchen if you need anything." she called through the door before she turnned and made her way back up stairs and to the kitchen to make something to eat.

Luke felt that his body was becoming tricked by the fake windowed background, relaxing a little bit. After a few minutes he was able to come out to the kitchen, though he was sweating.
"I'm sorry about that.. natural temptations at all.. I'm used to just locking myself down so I can't look but I always managed to find a way.. This might be the first night I haven't looked at it." he smiled slightly, happy that she was helping him. No more bloodshed.. No more sirens and watching families grieve over the loss of their loved ones.. I can't take it anymore. |
Eve smiled when she saw Luke come into the kitchen, she handed him a plate that had a couple of slices of pizza as she took a plate for her self, it was just a pepperoni pizza and there was to glasses of Mountain Dew already at the table. "Try not to talk about it, it only makes you want to look some more. Don't be sorry for something that is only natrual." She said to him as she sat down at the table, she liked having some one else in the house, it was comforting.

"Alright." Luke said, his smile stretching across his face as he began to eat. "I appreciate the thought." he could feel that the pizza and Mountain Dew were distracting him from the fact that it was a full moon, smiling happily.
No blood will be shed tonight. At least not by my claws. he thought, frowning for only a brief second before returning to his meal. |
Eve smiled at the man as she took a bit of her pizza, she couldn't help that she was doing something that was actually helping someone. "You seem to be doing much better." she said to him as she stood up and put more pizza onto her plate, she sat back down and started to eat her pizza again. She never really gained any weight, so she could eat anything and stay the same. She took a sip of her drink, she was feeling good at the moment, and there was nothing that could be done about it at the moment.

"Much better thanks to you.. I can't thank you enough that I won't be going on a killing spree today.." he looked down. "They've still never figured out that the deaths in this place have been due to me.." he laughed a little, thinking it was silly.

"Maybe someone is covering up for you, and Your welcome." she said to him with a simle, she even finished eatting her pizza, she even took another sip from her glass. "At least when you kill people it is an accident unlike some people that kill for fun." or to just get paid. she thought the last part, she kept her smile on her face even though it didn't reach her eyes.

"I suppose that's true, but I've slaughtered thousands by now. When i think about all the lives I've ruined because of it I feel terrible." Luke stared at his glass before downing the whole thing in one gulp.
"Why do you think I tried to drink the pain away?" he said with a short smile, looking up at her with his eyes alone. |
"It won't go away with drinking. Can i ask you something personal?" she asked him as she stood up and poured him some more mountain dew, she set the rest of the pizza on the table in front of him as she sat back down. She smiled at him as she ran a hand through her hair, she took another sip of her drink before she started to nurse it and met his gaze with her own. Her cell beeped, she sighed heavily as she pulled it out to read the txt that she got, she replied back to it before she turnned her attention back to him.

"Sure. Shoot." he said, taking another quick bite of pizza and a long swig of Mountain Dew while she asked. "I don't mind if it's you asking. not like anyone else can hear and I trust you." Luke smiled for a short moment before he sipped his drink quietly.

"How old are you? Like your real age..." she asked him as she leaned on her elbows and watched him closely. She took a sip of her drink, she glanced at the clock for a moment, she then looked back down into her glass. She looked back up at him and smiled, it was just an innocent question but she still wantted to know why how old he was since he knew how old she was going to be later in the month.

"Gosh.. I've lost count.. but maybe around.. 250?" he took a wild guess. He'd known it was alot longer than most people were alive, werewolves just had that much vitality and rarely died if they never came into contact with silver.

“So that means that your younger then me?” she asked him as she stood up and began to clean the dishes, she smiled softly as she finished and looked back at Luke. Things seemed to be going well with him, which was a good sign, she liked helping people but she didn’t like when things got ugly and she had to kill them later on. This thought made her frown and rub at her forehead, she sighed heavily as she walked back to her seat and sat back down. She took another sip from her drink before she looked back up at Luke and smiled. “Do you want to know anything?” she said to him with a more cheerful voice, since she was trying not to be sad or let him onto her secret.

"Werewolves don't have as great of a lifespan as elves. It is likely that you're older than I." He said with a short nod. "I have nothing to ask of you yet, Eve." he said with a smile, drinking the last of his second glass. "Actually, I'd like to ask for a refill." Luke added with a laugh.

"that is very true....dogs do age 7 years for every one year of a human year. How elves age is completely different then that." she said to him as she got a thoughtful look on her face as she tried to figure out hhow many years and Elf ages for one human year. She laughed when she heard his question, she stood up and got the bottle, pouring him some more before she set down on the table with them. She then went to take a sip form her glass, she realized that it was empty which made her laugh even more, she then poured her self some before she took a sip from it.

"Anyone ever told you that you have a pretty cute laugh?" he commented, making himself laugh a little bit more. The conversation had totally taken his mind off the full moon, at the rate it was going it would soon pass over to the next day and he would be fine.

"Oh! Thank you, your actually the first to tell me that." She said to him with a smile on her face, she was actually having a good time. She rested her elbows on the table, putting her chin into her hands as she watched him carefully.

"What is it? Do I have something in my teeth?" he said with a laugh, already halfway through his third glass of Mtn. Dew. "Staring only makes me think you're looking at me with affection." he commented, sneering at her.

"Maybe i am staring at you with affection. BUt as i told you before, watching people is my job." She said to him with a light joking tone, her eyes narrowed slightly at him, it was a slight dnagerous look that she gave him but her smile and joking tone were the only things that ruined it. "Maybe i am watching you so that i can see what your reactions to certain things are." she said to him as she gestured with her hands, she did that often to explain what she was talking about.

"In other words, you're testing me. Ugh. I hated tests. Especially when i still went to those human schools." Luke shook his head, laughing again. " I don't understand what you find so interesting about me though. That I feel bad for my victims?" he looked blankly at his now-empty glass. "There's nothing really special about me.."

"No i am not testing you. I am studying you. There is a difference, love." she said with a smile as she chuckled at him a little, she reached a hand up and tucked some of her hair behind her ear. "It is more like your different from the last were i have met." she said to him with a smile on her face, she wasn't lying to him, and she was being completely honest to him. She just didn't know if he understood what she was talking about, but it was a chance that she had to take and well if he didn't then he didn't.
