"...Well, locating some clean towels would be a good thing," Kasimir quipped, a smart-alec to the end. "And...huh. Shall we go our separate ways, or..." He grinned at them. "Would you like to do something else?"

He hadn't gotten a chance to be social in quite a while.

"There are towels in the gym..." Amais commented to herself as she tried to find where the gym was from their location.

While Amais was looking Amaya piped up with an idea, "We should go to the arcade!"

The mentioning of the arcade distracted Amais from her search, "Oh, I'm bad at games though!"

"You have to be bad at something."

Amais only pouted and shook out her hair so that some splashed onto Amaya.

Kasimir chuckled at their playful banter, amused at how simple rainwater seemed to have become a lethal weapon. "Let's vote. All in favor of going to the arcade, raise your hands. All not, don't raise your hands."

Everyone in the group raised their hands, except for Amais who was still glaring at Amaya.

With a giggle Amaya raised one of Amais' hands and shouted, "Peer pressure!"

"Ok...I'll go."

"All right--sounds good. Let us go, then. I am not a big gamer, myself, but winning is not all that matters. What matters is having fun."

There was a big smile on Kasimir's face, so the philosophical side of that statement seemed to have lost its luster.

The group of students laughed as they held up a thumbs up side.

"I agree." Amais smiled.

Amaya turned back to her, "But, you're a sore loser at monopoly!"

Amais pouted again and crossed her arms as she looked away. The rain began to slow and the sun was slowly breaking through the clouds.

Kasimir chuckled at their antics, stretching his arms out. "Aaaahhh, that felt good. This arcade--where is it? I'm new in town, after all...so I'm not used to everything, yet."

Amais smiled, "Oh, it's actually not too far from the resturant. We normally go there before performances."

Taking a look around she also added, "Since the weather is nice now, we can walk there."

"All right, then--since I'm direction-challenged, you can lead the way!" Kasimir admitted his direction-challenged nature without so much as batting an eyelash. It seemed he was proud of everything about himself, even the bad things...

Amais and the group began walking to the arcade. Once walking past the resturant, Matt had waved through the window to his father, who waved back and smiled. It didn't take long to get to the arcade since it was a couple of blocks away.

Once inside, Amais looked around as Amaya rushed off, "What should I play?"

Kasimir had found himself entranced by a nearby two-player shooting game. "I'm sorry? I was looking at this lovely game, here..." He paused. "Would you like to play? It is for two people, after all."

Amais turned her head towards the game and tilted her head while thinking. After a few seconds of pondering, she nodded and made her way over to the game,

"Sure! I'm warning you though, I don't do well with these."

"I am not an expert, either. I assure you of that much..." Kasmir replied, grinning. He paid for the game and then took his gun, eager to begin. Once it did begin, he began shooting away.

He was awkward and missed quite often.

Amais took her own gun and stared at it for a while, not noticing that the game had started. She had gotten a few hits on her before she started shooting at the screen erratically.

She was lucky enough to land a few hits, but she would revert back to missing.

Kasimir was not doing so well, either. When the game finally finished, he had a very low score. "...I suck," he informed her, quite bluntly, scratching his head. "How'd you do?"

Placing the gun back where she took it, Amais looked down at the ground and pouted.

"Terrible." She answered and pointed to her own low score, "It's worse than yours. If I ever have to shoot a gun to save my life...well, I guess we know what's gonna happen, unfortunately."

"In battle, you could always just use the gun as a melee weapon and whack people with it," Kasimir suggested, amused. "Me...well, I'm just going to run like I stole something and not get attacked, ever, by someone with a gun..."

Amais giggled and added, "True. You have a point and that sounds like a good idea. Still, if there were ever a zombie apocalpse I don't think the whacking would work well for me."

Her emerald eyes searched around the arcade, wondering what to play next, "Is there anything that catches your eye?"

Kasimir peered around. "Let's see. Claw machines--they're rigged. Motorcycle games. Crazy Taxi--hehehe...Dance Dance Revolution. Skeeball."

Amais jumped in excitement and rushed over to the skeeball machine dragging her teacher along with her. "I loved playing this when I was a kid!"

"The only memory I have of playing this as a kid is cocking my arm back and bringing it forward...with no ball in it. The man behind me was not very happy that a rogue ball konked him in the head," Kasimir chuckled, as he was dragged. "I'll play, if you want me to. But I sure hope I don't injure anyone this time."

Amais blinked a few times while she played his story in her mind. Her green orbs looked at the game and back behind him.

"Oh, I have faith in you, Kaz. I'm sure you won't."

Kaz nodded, arching an eyebrow. He didn't seem to believe that--he was quite sure that some kind of failure was going to come from him playing this game.

Amais' pouted when she didn't get the reply she was expecting.

"Oh, don't be so pessimistic!"

"I'm a complete failure when it comes to this--I have a right to be negative," Kaz huffed, scowling playfully. "Are we going to play? Or rather, are you going to play and watch me fail?"
