Feeling her fist connect she was somewhat confused. ' He let me hit him?' she thought to herself and then realized he was tackling her. She gasped and tried to step back before he could reach her, but unfortunately failed and tumbled into the water behind her with him following along. Her eyes glazed over to a pale white and the water around Targo's feet began to flow rather quickly picking up a current. "Get me all wet, will you?" she muttered as her head broke the surface.

Hmmm probably not the best idea, but it was still fun. He had some skill with swimming and decided to give chase underwater. She could have some elf water magic here, but technically they were still fighting. He gazed in the water but it was moving fast and not easy to see. He was still determined to get the upper hand, and looked patiently for his enemy

She had the water start applying pressure on top of him now, pushing him further down before she completely released everything and began swimming for shore so she could grab her blade.

(Wow :P)
Perhaps he was not as good at swimming as he thought he was, or the water was just too strong. He used his massive strength to force himself back to the surface. Thoroughly exhausted by that he panted deeply as he reached the surface barely spotting the female grabbing her weapon

Her hands reached her dagger and she crawled out of the water dripping. She scrunched her nose and looked down into the water, "Hurry your butt up, Targo. You need to practice avoiding baiting techniques." She shook her head.
Slipping the dagger back into the spot on her back she sat down next to the fire shivering slightly and muttering to herself.

O boy she was annoying. He remember why he did not like girls his own age now. Still she obviously had a lot to teach him, being more mature in many ways. How lame was that. He swam up to the shore and quickly jumped up. A nice swim was always refreshing. "I know what I need to avoid, I was just messing around. Next time we can be a little more serious" He then joined his companion near the fire

"You're frustrating." She turned her head towards him and smiled, "but you're not as bad with a sword as I was imagining. When we get to the next town I'll be sure to pick up something larger to practice with, but its nice to know you can react when something is close, even if you're not the greatest at it."
She laughed and gave him a small shove on the shoulder. She realized she was acting a little bipolar in how she was treating him, but she figured she may as well continue to have fun at his expense.

"O well thanks for that" He said sarcastically, and returned the playful shove, only slightly harder. "Of course if that river was not there you would have been totally beat." He laughed aloud. He forgot to mention the magic, on purpose. He did not like her having such a distinct advantage over him, and certainly did not want her to know that. "Our course now is up to you"

"Now we should probably rest for the night. Then we can head out as early as we can wake tomorrow." She smiled at him and pretended that she didn't notice the harder shove than she'd given.
"I'll leave the fire up so we can have some warmth. Tonight seems as if it might be a bit chilly," and at that she crawled over to her things and lied down using her bag as a pillow.

"we are taking shifts sleeping yes?" it seemed such an obvious answer to him but she made no indication. "I will gladly take the first shift so you can rest. You did most of the work" except for when I tackled you, he thought to himself amused. He went to a nearby tall tree and climbed up to get comfortable. He watched the still nature again, and somehow his eyes keep wandering towards his companion. Granted he was supposed to be watching her... He tries to remain focused on the task at hand, and kept his blade at the ready

In reply to his shift question she simply groaned and threw her arm over her head. Between healing and messing with the water she was feeling tired. She was apparently getting very lazy with her magic work as she couldn't handle doing too much of it any more. After realizing this she decided she would begin practice again once she woke up and on the trip to the next town. It wouldn't be that hard to use little bits here-and-there.
Despite being tired she could not convince herself to fall asleep for quite a while and once she did she knew it was going to be her watch soon.

The length of time that consisted as his watch gave him plenty of time to think. First he thought about the poor Bar that he left behind, with no indication. He was not really needed there, but still he felt bad for leaving so abruptly. Maybe he would be better off with a simple life. He quickly dismissed this thought, he had made the right choice. Right now he would probably be sitting at the bar staring and the usuals would be talking about the same thing they did last week. He was relatively he had been with every woman in that town that he wanted, or at least tried to. Which led to the thought of the woman he was with now, or girl really.
He has placed all his faith in this one girl. Should she falter in anyway, or simply grow bored of him he would be in a bad situation. Not only that but if she had not been there earlier today he would have simply been wolf food. In one day she had became the only person that mattered in his entire life, he had no one else. His gaze was still upon her for most of the time, and he noticed her shuffling about. Many times he though about simply calling out to her, but she needed her rest. He decided to think instead of what to do next.
The trip to the town would be a welcome distraction. He had only been to other towns on small deliveries, and never stayed for too long. He was hoping to find some fun in this town. Most importantly he needed to find a bed, sleeping sounded so great. Perhaps someone to share the bed with as well... He wondered how his companion would feel if he sought a bedmate in town. It did not really matter, but he did not want to make her upset. If she stormed out....
All of this thinking was becoming too much of a chore, and it had been a few hours anyway. He hopped down from his perch and made his way to her. "Your turn" he declared, in a loud enough voice to wake her, but hopefully not to startle her.

Delilah mumbled incoherently and rolled over ignoring Targo's suggestion that it could be her turn already. She sighed in her sleep and shifted again this time becoming slightly more awake after moving. With a groan she sat up with her eyes still closed and waved him closer to her.
Mumbling she asked, "How long have I been sleeping?"
Her eyes began opening slowly and she yawned.

He obliged and got closer, kneeling near her"How long have you been sleeping I am not sure of, I have been on watch for a few hours. I would not ask of you to get up but I would like to try and get some sleep before we venture off. If you need to sleep more after I do not mind." He began to gather his bedding out of his pack and setting it up.

She gave him a pat on the face when he got close to her and sighed. She pushed herself to her feet and walked to the water. Bending she scooped a bit of the water into her hands and then onto her face. "I'll manage. I need to get some practice in anyways, you have a good rest, all right?"
She went and sat next to the waning fire, poking at it with a nearby stick in an attempt to rekindle the flame. Her eyes shifted to him as he was unpacking, he was kind of goofy in a way that made her want to hug him, but she decided to hold that thought to herself. She still didn't think he understood the whole "we sleep outside and too many comforts will be hard to keep around" thing, but she decided to not say anything this time. He still had to get used to sleeping on the ground when an inn wasn't an option.

"I will definitely try, thanks" He finished gathering his things and placed them about to make a decent bed near the fire. He laid down and lifted his hand for a quick smile towards her.
Despite the heaviness of complete lack of sleep, he still laid there for quite some time with no sleep coming at all. For a few seconds he debated talking to her and finally decided to wait and see if a moment would arise.

She hated being on watch. It was one of the most clear rules of the wild, though. Someone had to watch out for the others back or both might end up as food. Eventually she would learn some warding spells she decided so that they could both sleep in peace. She decided that she would check some of the local shops once she got in to see if anyone had a book or scroll on some of the basics and what she would need for a simple spell.
She stood once she got the fire back and up to life. Walking a slow circle around it while she teased at it with her minimal magical experience with fire. She tried bending it one way and then the next, but grew bored of that quickly. Fire was not her favorite element to play with and it most certainly wasn't entertaining her now. She noticed that Targo had not fallen asleep yet and smirked. Moving towards the water again, her back facing him, she began to remove her clothes. Why not have a little fun while she was practicing? Water was her easiest element and getting him flustered would amuse her beyond greatly. Off went the shirt, which she threw to a rock, which was followed quickly by her pants. She decided she'd leave her undergarments on so that she could work on keeping them dry while in the water. She repressed a laugh and walked slowly in.

Well if sleep was not going to happen before there is no way it was going to happen now. He tried to remain motionless, but his gaze always gravitated towards her. Was her idea of being on watch, bathing? What the hell is stopping someone from killing him right now? He sighed softly, and shifted himself. He could easily go confront her, or something like that. He got up from his bed and made his way towards the water, but kept a respectable distance. "Well clearly you some sort of plan right now, and I would like to see it"

She turned her head so she could see him behind her; her hair shifting as her head did. Quirking an eyebrow she motioned a hand for him to turn around by swirling a finger. "My, my. Little spy we are. My plan is to practice my magic and have you sleep while I do so. What ever are you doing out of bed, sir?"
Laughing she created a small wall out of the water around herself, "Peeping tom in your past life were you?" she called out mockingly. Get back to bed, you're protected. I have a blade with me and you're near enough the water that if I needed to fend someone off I could easily do so from here. She let the wall fall around her with a splash. Now only above her shoulders was exposed and she had turned to face towards him, eyes shifted so that she was looking up at him with an angle. A sly grin adorned her lips. She cooed, "well?"

He turned around when she told him to do so. "Well as you know I have trouble sleeping out here. Especially when my companion leaves for a bath during her watch."
"Also I had no intention of spying on you, it is not necessarily difficult to see naked women" He grinned a huge smile when he said that. "I am not too terribly worried about being protected, I know you have some nice abilities. Which is the only real reason I came out here. If you were going to practice any magic I would love to see." He noticed her turn towards him, and he had to admit she looked very very nice right now. Part of him wanted to try something but he decided to simply smile and motion for her to continue.

"You'll never learn if you don't start trying. You wont make it to town tomorrow if you don't get at least a little bit of sleep. Also, I am not bathing." she stated simply.
She shrugged and stood again. Letting the water drip off everything aside from her minimal clothing. Closing her eyes she began muttering something under her breath. Water began to trickle up her body until it formed a dress-like shape around her. Doing a small curtsy-like movement she grinned, "Like?"

"I am completely fine right now, do not worry." He gazed upon her and continued to smile. She was just simply fascinating to him, no matter how much he wanted her to be just like every other girl. The way she worked that water was breathtaking, unlike anything he had ever seen. "I like that very much" He said, trying to sound at least somewhat aloof. "I hope you can do more"

"If you say so, Targo" she smiled softly and released the water around her as she dipped back into it.
"I am just going to play with currents now. I do not want to waste too much energy. You really should just travel away now," she said.
She was slightly discouraged by his acting completely unphased by anything she did outside of being amused by the magic itself. She knew she wasn't ugly and yet he wasn't giving her so much as a blush or a funny comment here and there. This was just as boring as the fire. Frowning she stood up, not caring if things remained dry any longer and walked out of the water. She moved to the rock and began putting back on her clothes.
"You should probably just rest even if you wont sleep," she muttered.

"Look Deliliah I apologize if you think I am trying to waste your time. I really have no idea what I am supposed to be doing, I was a bar servant just two nights ago. This environment is new to me and so are you. So I am definitely going to be a little awkward, and if you need to focus on your work then I understand." He sighed and began a slow walk back towards the camp. Although now his emotions would be yet another thing keeping him awake.

"No need to apologize, hun. You did nothing wrong. There will be more opportunity to watch me later, but right now you need to rest." She stated as she took perch upon her log near the fire again.
She sighed and looked at him, "Don't get all mopey, okay? I don't mean to be. I'm being vain, that's all, okay?"
