Kage's response made a great deal of sense and he was right there were alot of things that Dhaymar could and or would be blamed for if he were left here. A slight smirk appearing on his face he called back to the crimson and raven haired man, "Then I would say the fact that he was in here alone would get him in trouble... I think that about sums it up." His attention then was averted back to Dranz who seemed to have had some sort of change in him. It would seem that there were quite a few people here with split personalities, or maybe this place just changed them all. Whatever the case he decided to answer the dragon, "To sum it all up the scientist had a waking nightmare..." he said trying to keep his tone from sounding too sinister and triggering something again. Then it occurred to him that the cat like nuisance was awake although he wasn't trying to take a bite out of Kage, which put a bit of confusion into the half demon. He didn't know if that was good or bad that he smelled like food but Kage didn't... should he be insulted or somewhat happy? Either way it was unimportant so he shook the thought from his mind.

Luca was a bit shocked as she saw the guards and white coats begin to rip themselves to pieces. She quickly pulled back her magic not wanting to slow down the process of the men ripping themselves to pieces. The blonde knew that Kage wanted her to come to that side, but she had never spoken with these people before. Also her eyes were a bit stuck on the gruesome images at hand. She knew it wasn't good for her to look towards the wreckage, but again she could not bring herself to look away.

Once most of the men had destroyed themselves she looked back towards the group and Kage. Slowly she approached them and walked towards Kage who was squatting by another male. She had heard Kage mention how she was late and frowned slightly. "I was rather late today... I suppose I just got lost in my thoughts," Luca said softly to her friend as she stood in front of the two. Looking at the man and then at Kage again she wondered if he could use some healing... then she knew that her friend of course knew that she could do such things... She didn't want to offer then be turned away, so she just stood in front of the two.

Miku stood in silence as the others conversed around her, aware of what they were saying but not desiring to comment. At last she spoke, "I think we should return to our rooms." Her gaze wandered towards the open door and the carnage that they would have to creep over. She looked at Kage, Dhaymar, and the girl called Luca then turned her head to peer over her shoulder at Kenarri and Dranz. So many of them not in a place they should be – and it was only a matter of time before more personnel would show up. She could only imagine what would happen if they were caught, again.

She suddenly felt something sticky on the bottom of her foot and realized it was the blood that had traveled from the coats across the floor. The liquid felt strange on her bare toes and made a sickening squishy sound when she moved. She suppressed another shiver and started to walk towards the entryway. She slipped a few times, but finally made it to the point where she would have to step over someone. The faces of the dead coats stared up at her and made her feel sick. What did you see at the very last moment, she thought, That would make you want to do this? Her head turned to look at Narri once again, and she gave him a wary once over, then shook her head. She turned back to the door and began stepping over the bodies.

FidelisRaor 05-11-2010 02:57 AM

The black haired humanoid flinched when Narri mentioned the idea of a waking nightmare. He could tell the other was doing his best not to frighten him into a crazed state again. He appreciated it and was more willing to listen because of it, as well as less likely to snap when the other spoke. Still, he had to wonder who the new girl that had entered was...and where that witch had disappeared to. She had been the start of all this and he would make her pay one way or another.

He was lost in his thoughts, the golden eyes glazing a little until he heard Miku speak. His head snapped over towards her and listened. Returning to their rooms was not a bad idea, but someone was going to get blamed for it. Looking down at his hands he noticed how red they had become in such a short amount of time. With their current escape plan having fallen apart, not that there had been much of one to begin with, they needed a new start. And that meant waiting again, and getting tortured again, and who knew what else. "I think that...while you guys head off I'm going to stay here."

Arechi 05-11-2010 04:52 PM

Kage gently nodded his head as Kenarri essentially summed up both that if the other male were alone he would be blamed, and what had happened to the guards and white coats. His attention then came to rest once more on the male as he was a bit surprised to find the cat eared male resting his head on the black and crimson haired male's shoulder. It was also this act that drove the point home to Kage that he was no longer in the tank. He shook his head though as he figured it was more important to listen to the male's words. Gently he nodded his head in confirmation that he was indeed not dead, though frowned slightly as the male said he did not feel well. "What part does not feel well? Would you be able to stand and walk?" he inquired gently and rather soothingly, giving it the feeling of someone trying to produce comfort.

His red gaze then switched for a few moments on Luca. "I'm glad that it was that then rather than any...trouble...Although I suppose you walked in on some trouble when you entered huh?" he said with a small chuckle and scratching the tip of his nose with one finger. Now that the bloodied mess wasn't within his sight he could feel the pain slowly fading from his own mind, making thinking and ideas coming to him much easier. And so it wasn't long before he gained an idea on how to possibly help the male resting on his shoulder, a fact that made him slightly nervous since he had bitten Narri and he wasn't fancying a bite himself though one hadn't really occurred. "Luca I hate to ask this of you, but depending upon what's hurting him, do you suppose you could help remedy it?" he asked gently, as he knew that she did have healing abilities and would perhaps be the best one for the situation.

Even as his eyes remained on Luca his attention drifted towards Miku as she suggested they go back to their rooms and on Dranz who said he would stay behind. "There's no need for you to stay behind. Technically this here is 'my' room. If I were to go in another I've no doubt that, that would be rather dangerous since I'm sure they would easily identify me. After all they've stared long enough..." he started, trailing off with an almost bitter or annoyed sigh at the end, making it clear that he wasn't entirely thrilled about that fact. "Anyways don't worry about this area here and any other white coats or guards that are bound to come here. I'll handle them, after all although they've been watching me I've also been watching them during the time I've been awake..." he said with a rather faint slight smile. His mind was forming a plan already of what could be done, and had been for a little while which was a reason for his inquiry about the white lab/doctor coat earlier, and knew he could probably pull it off.

Quickly his gaze turned towards the dragon male and then Miku, as he tried to avoid looking at any of the bloodied mess of bodies. "I will advise that it may be best that you all go out as a group..." he again started, with his tone only rising slightly so he could be heard by the occupants of the room. Once more his gaze shifted to Dranz, although he had caught a small glimpse at the mess that was once more bringing back the pain, although he knew he could possibly use that to his own advantage now in the plan he had been forming with the additional personnel that would be entering here. "I assume you still have the guard helmet? If not I'm sure you could use one of the one's that are now dead...Anyways I've no doubt that you'll probably run into other guards or faculty on your way out of here. To avoid anymore of an uproar it would be best for you to sort of act as an 'escort', and as you had said before with a helmet on they wouldn't recognize you. If asked what happened, try to change your voice either to be either slightly higher or slightly lower, and simply tell them there was an accident and that it would be best for them to go and get an explanation here, and that the one's your escorting aren't to be harmed. Again if you get an inquiry about that just tell them it'll all be explained here. If it comes down to it simply lie and tell them your under direct orders to ensure they're not harmed, this way if they attempt something it'll give some sort of excuse for the offender to be harmed by either you or anyone else" he said, laying out some of the plans he had been concocting in his mind.

The red gaze then turned away from the male and turned towards the tank that had once held him, to try and make it so he didn't seen the running red liquid. He could hear the sickly sounds of it as Miku walked across it although that didn't affect him the same as the sight of it did. "After this has all that has been done, and everyone is once more in a safer area, I'll come to each of you and come up with some sort of excuse for all of us to be in the same area and go from there. What that excuse is I don't really know yet, so if anyone can think of one then feel free to share..." he said with a final sigh. He revealed most of what he had planned, though clearly not all of it and it seemed he wasn't up for sharing any further at the moment.

Dear Lelie 05-11-2010 08:01 PM

Luca kept looking down at Kage and the other male not sure what to make of what had happened here. She wanted to escape now, but with all this chaos it would make it rather difficult. A soft laugh escaped the blonde's lips as he mentioned her getting into trouble. "I've been into trouble many times here before. It is nothing to be overly concerned about," she answered lightly. Then looking down to the other male she nodded. Of course she would do her best to help Kage with this person. "It's no trouble at all, Kage. After all, it is what I am meant to do," Luca answered smiling at her friend. She felt so much more comfortable talking to Kage. It was as though no one else was even there, though of course she paid them little mind. Kneeling down on the opposite side from Kage she looked at the male and tilted her head. "Just let me know where it hurts of course," she stated blandly. When addressing the male her tone had somewhat changed. It was a bit empty and rather quiet. Luca still did not like talking to strangers. The only person she felt truly comfortable talking to here was Kage. When the other female spoke, the blonde decided to pay her no mind. If she would like to leave of course she was free to do so.

FidelisRaor 05-11-2010 09:28 PM

Dranz looked over at Kage when he spoke, blinking some as he listened. The idea had not really occurred to him, having given up on the escort plan, but it was a good idea nonetheless. He looked around, counting how many he would have to escort. Miku...Narri...the strange one...and the new girl. It was strange for one guard to take four people, but two with three was more common. "Someone else would also have to act as a guard." He stated, walking over to where he had last seen the helmet and, finding it, quickly put it on. "That is, if you want no suspicion drawn."

Wrenji-chan 05-11-2010 09:54 PM

Miku stopped mid-stride and listened to everything Kage said before speaking in a slightly sarcastic voice, "How long did it take you to think about that?" She smiled at her joke, then reached down and picked one of the coats off of its previous owner. She held it for a moment to examine it and saw that surprisingly, there was very little blood. "Besides," she began as she slide her bare arms into the coat, "We all got here on our own, we should be able to leave on our own as well." Miku didn't like the confinement that coat made her feel – it reminded her of straightjackets. The coat itself was longer than Miku originally thought; it was clearly made for someone of a grander height. Though it didn't quite touch the floor, it brushed the tops of her feet and wrapped around her body so it appeared to be more like a dress. She looked at the bodies on the floor and at last found what she was looking for. She picked up the glasses and set them on her face. There, she thought to herself, Now I have a costume too. She spun in a quick circle and took a few steps to make sure she could walk without looking odd. Succeeding at that task, she returned her attention to the door. She leapt over the last body to land on her feet in the hallway and smiled.

Arechi 05-11-2010 10:40 PM

Kage couldn't help but smile slightly as Luca lightly told him that there wasn't need for concern for her getting into trouble. The male could clearly recall a few of the times that she had found it while visiting him while he was in the tank that did make him wince a bit. "Yes but I'm still always going to worry about that. After all I've seen a few things that they've done to you when you were caught down here before. I'd rather no one have to suffer through something like that..." he said quietly in a sort of attempt to keep the words between Luca and himself, as they were more of a private matter anyways. He would have used his telepathy but the new surge of his headache prevented it. He of course couldn't help but smile slightly again when she replied that his request was of no trouble. "I think you're here for more than simple healing, but thank you" he replied once more quietly.

His gaze had shifted from the tank to Luca when he spoke to her, but now they shifted towards Dranz as he spoke. He was about to reply when he suddenly heard Miku's more sarcastic reply and waited for her to finish. "It only took me a few moments, how long did it take for you to come up with yours hm? There are still a few missing segments there are also some flaws within your own plan. However being 'escorted' out helps in giving the locations of those planning to escape, and makes finding everyone much easier and quicker which is what our actions will be calling for. However if you've no interest in coming along that is of your own choice, after all if the plan is to escape today then there's not time to be 'hunting' people down...That of course means that since you'll be the, or one of the one's, 'escorting' people to their rooms, Dranz I'll need to know where your location will be after. It'll make things much quicker, as well as anyone else who wishes to volunteer to take the role as a possible second guard, since you'll know what's more common with that sort of thing then I will" he replied calmly, although clearly showing he wasn't up for dealing with any sort of nonsense at the moment, nor was he willing to try and force anyone to follow his plan of action.

His attention then went towards Luca and the male, that was in a sense resting on him. "You may have to sort of heal and walk if that's possible?" he inquired gently as his red gaze came to rest mainly on Luca momentarily. "I know it's perhaps requiring a lot from you Dranz, or if a second guard is chosen, this one here might have to be carried..." he called quietly, though he hoped that Luca would be able to heal him, once they knew what was harming him completely, before they needed to leave.

Wrenji-chan 05-11-2010 11:28 PM

Miku chuckled and mentally said to Kage. 'We're going to be good friends, you and I.' She spun around and once again took a tally of the room. The dragon, the demon, the insane boy, the new girl, the witch, and the special one. she looked at each one as she silently said what their were. "Kage, you are staying here at least until Dhaymar is healed, correct? Then how about he, you and," her mouth twitched into a grin, "Your girlfriend, wait for a few minutes and Dranz can take you away then. Kenarri and I could easily pass as a coat and a patient without drawing too much attention to ourselves." Although, that does leave the witch... and what happened to that mouse? I am certain it wasn't an ordinary rodent. "Maybe we could even make a distraction in the lunch room that would help you in escaping? When the time comes Narri can leave to follow you and I'll keep the staff distracted for as long as I can." She refused to talk about her own freedom. She couldn't even begin to think about having a life outside these stone walls. Sure, after the escape had happened she could be killed – even though she didn't know if there had ever been a killing before – she didn't care. The group in the room wanted freedom, and she would help them get it by any means necessary.

She wondered as to why she had chosen Narri to come with her. Perhaps it's because I feel I can trust him. She thought looking at the male again. He was capable, most definitely so; he had proven it with what he had just done – and the evidence was still on the floor. However, this makes the grouping uneven, and Kage certainly won't like that. But, if we take the dragon – who looks familiar - the others won't stand a chance. She turned so she was facing the stairway, and sighed. To Kage, and Kage alone she said, 'Tell me what to do Master Kage, for I am your faithful servant. Direct me and I shall go; lead me and I shall follow. Your desire is to be fulfilled before my own and I am willing to die so your blood will never be spilt.' She smiled and continued the oath, 'This vow I will hold true until the day I perish from this earth.' She faced him and bowed her eyes vivid with seriousness. She rose and said in a peppy tone, "So, who's ready to go?"

Arechi 05-12-2010 12:20 AM

(Flippin' tornado warnings...Second one in the past 4 days...-.-' And omg that...is one giant bunny...50lbs and only 12 months old?...O.O')

Kage could still hear Miku's mental voice towards him despite his raging headache. He raised an eyebrow slightly as she stated they would be good friends, although whether that was sarcasm or seriousness he couldn't entirely be sure. But there were more important things at the moment and so he pushed the thought from his mind. At her words he calmly shook his head. "No I'll be staying behind for a while longer. After all in order for the story to be straight there has to be one 'survivor' of the group to account for what had happened. As I've already said this is technically my room and if I were to randomly appear in another room it would arouse suspicion and larger problems then what we'll already have..." he said letting out a sigh, although there was a slight glint in one of his eyes as he mentioned a survivor accounting for what had happened, showing that there was perhaps an alternative purpose for it though he didn't seem willing to disclose. He closed his eyes, perhaps in slight annoyance, as she suggested Luca as a girlfriend.

"I ask you don't make assumptions with any relationships I have with others. I've already enough problems in my mind I don't wish to ensue ones of the heart as well at this point in time, or I may very well go insane myself, which isn't something I want and I'm sure no one else would like...Anyways perhaps a patient and coat would be able to normally pass, there is the slight problem of where you currently are. From what I know and have gathered only staff is permitted here, and when another patient is discovered here...Well I'd rather not go there, but you'd want to make use of that blood on the ground...Though I still believe it would be best for everyone here to leave as a group as opposed to two separate groups, it'll make things easier to explain...Plus with Dranz posing as a guard it may be a bit more believable" he continued as his gaze came to once more settle on Miku, and trying to avoid the bloodied mess again.

He then thought about her idea of creating a distraction. He noticed from the mention of her words she mentioned nothing about her coming along with Narri or them. Before he could reply to that though he received her mental message. He had to close his eyes for a moment to focus on her words since it was a bit more than just a single sentence, plus it helped a bit to reduce his headache. The words were a bit uncomfortable for him, especially have the word 'master' before his name. 'My desire? Well then if you want that live. The way you speak you seem as if your life doesn't mean much to you. And though I said I won't force you to escape, and I'll hold true to that, that doesn't mean that I won't ask you to escape with us. I'd rather take as many with me during this escape rather than let them suffer here. Besides if your really serious about your vow, then tell me. How would you be able to fulfill it if you're trapped here and I'm out there? Besides Kenarri seems to have taken to you and you him, although I could be wrong. But you are more than just a sacrificial lamb doomed for eternal unhappiness and death. So if you wish to follow me, then follow me out of this place. Though again the final choice is yours to make' his voice rang mentally to her, forcing himself to use his telepathy. His own gaze reflected his own seriousness of his words, before turning away and wandering for perhaps the first time since his freedom from the tank, to the clock near the vent. Looking at the time he seemed to tense slightly at it. "We need to move quickly..." he said with a slight hint of urgency in his tone.

FidelisRaor 05-12-2010 02:04 AM

((You don't live in OK do you Arechi? D : I saw on the news bad shift has been going on down there. Oh yea, I censored myself ))
Hearing Kage's question Dranz frowned. "Afterwards I would try to blend in with those going outside for 'exercise.' In a large crowd I could discard this guard uniform and return as if nothing happened." He really was not sure where he would be exactly after their plan had been executed and that was the best he could come up with. Going back to his cell would be too difficult in the guard uniform, as it was uncommon for one to enter the reeking hellholes the inmates were forced to call home.
Noticing something else was being said, the golden eyes watched Miku before focusing on what he was being told from both her and Kage. Thinking about he came up with a plausible plan, and tentatively put it forward. He was clearly nervous about sharing his own ideas, too accustomed to taking orders or acting individually rather than in a group. "If...we all left at once...It would be plausible that a scientist reported the group to a guard...and is helping to escort them back to their rooms."

Marsyas 05-12-2010 05:45 AM

(I'm at college in OK and is the weather is real stinky here. It's frustrating cuz I been wanting to go to the river darnit lol)

Kenarri simply sat there as all the plans were tossed around, and oddly enough it didn't bother him any that he wasn't asked his opinion on anything. After sitting down for a while the half demon had gathered up his strength and he stood to his feet awaiting directions on whether or not he was following Miku. He was actually a little surprised that she had suggested that they travel together after all the arguing that they had done but it was fine by him. Sighing lightly he reverted back to his human form if they were going to be leaving soon. After all, every guard who had seen his demon form was dead and the young demon planned to keep it that way. Walking over to the door he looked at Miku with his normal golden eyes and said, "So I'm with you then?" he asked in a polite tone of voice. The difference in his two sides' voices was amazing and quite startling if you weren't used to it. His human voice was soft like a melody in the wind but his demon voice was rough and sinister yet still majestic.

Wrenji-chan 05-12-2010 08:24 PM

Miku thought for a long time about Kage's words, both the verbal, and the mental. Her mood had turned somber and she frowned at the truths and flaws Kage had dug up. Is that what I'm trying to be? A sacrifice? Have I truly given up on my life? Her dark thoughts returned and she thought about life and death – how similar they were; how easily they could be confused. In a tone that echoed her mood she replied to the dragon, "You have a good idea Dranz. We could easily leave here as such a group. But, Kage is also right. We have to move quickly, and it would take time to return each being to their respective room." She hadn't realized if he was insulted by her tone or not.

Miku raised her head to look at Narri. She still had the frown on her face and in a somber tone of voice said, "Only if you want to be." She added a nonchalant shrug. She saw that his appearance had changed and he was once again more human. His eyes had become a warm honey gold, and she sighed when she looked at them. She had never seen such a wondrous eye color on a demon. Normally they were a deep red or black – or in the special occasion of her people, blue. You refuse to talk about relationships when they are yours, don't you Kage? She thought to herself, But when it concerns others, you seem to enjoy playing cupid. She attempted to smile, but it didn't stay on her face for long. Her gaze fell to the floor and she scanned the bodies, stopping on the face of the male who she had taken the glasses from. Did you love someone? She looked at his hand, but found no ring – it meant nothing to her. Sefi had not worn a ring, nor had she, but she had loved him – until the beating began. She shivered and took a deep breath. "I need to leave," she said hastily, "Whoever is coming with me, we're leaving now." She took a few hurried steps till she reached the bottom on the stairs. Instead of climbing them, she sat and took a few more deep breaths. 'I need to get out of this place. I'm going with you.' She sent her thoughts to Kage, closed her eyes and rubbed her temples.

Chikuma 05-13-2010 05:28 AM

((sorry was gone for a few days. Dear Lelie thanks a lot, I really appreciate it. ^-^ Much easier to read now.))

Dhaymar said softly, "I dun wanna walk. I sleep here." With the approach of the girl Dhaymar's ears perked up a little. When asked about where he hurt he replied, "Head and face where the mean one hit me." He made sure to point the culprit out before continuing, "My stomach too, I hate bad things . . " He got an idea and asked, "I bet girl taste good, better than thing in jar. Dhaymar will feel better with just a little sip yes? Sip is good?"

Arechi 05-14-2010 09:08 PM

(No I live in OH so we don't necessarily have the bad weather that the plains have been getting, although we've gotten some pretty bad storms here nevertheless. In fact about 4 am this morning a relatively bad one woke me up, which is something in and of itself since the only thing that can ever typically wake me from my sleep is my alarm clock. I thought it was going to bust out my window it was blowing and raining so bad. It didn't though my window ended up leaking onto my clothes. ><' Lol and that's alright Chiku, it's a busy time so it's understandable. :D Well hopefully the weather cleared up enough so you could go to the river later though Mars? :D)

Kage quietly listened to Dranz's input and idea as well. Once the dragon male finished speaking the crimson and ebony haired head nodded in agreement with Miku about the idea. "Yes I believe that is a relatively good idea as well Dranz. The more believable it is the better it will be and the less problems you'll all encounter for the time being...Assuming things go as planned this time..." he said with a sigh, referring to the fact that the last plan had been interrupted and delayed by Circe. If the witch interfered now there would be nothing stopping the squatting male from dealing out a rather harsh though fitting punishment. He had already made up a plan with punishing her for her previous involvement, and one that wouldn't require him to really exert himself.

His attention then was slightly taken by the male that still seemed to be resting on his shoulder. "It's not safe to sleep here. Are you sure you aren't willing to walk?" Kage asked gently and quietly. When the male listed his ills his eyes turned up towards Luca. "Would you be able to heal any of those by chance?" he asked her gently. As he heard the other male mention something about Luca tasting good he couldn't help but frown slightly. He both had no clue and yet an idea of what the male was talking about. He had already bitten Kenarri, and from the sound of it he was asking to take a bite, perhaps a bit more, out of Luca. "No biting Luca or any of the others unless they say otherwise alright?" he said still quietly although his tone was a bit firmer as he nodded his head towards first Luca, followed by Kennari, Miku, and Dranz. The mouse had vanished so he didn't nod towards it, nor did he nod towards the witch, feeling that she perhaps deserved to be bitten.

His attention then once more shifted to Miku as she mentioned that she needed to leave, and leave now. At first he wondered if perhaps it was due to their time limit. However he then realized she hadn't said anything about his own insinuations of her and Kenarri. 'Was I actually right? I was merely teasing her in return...I wasn't expecting to have possibly come upon something that was true enough..." he thought to himself with a bit of surprise. He then wondered if perhaps instead of it being true he had offended her in some way, or by his other words. Before he could say anything to possibly try and mend it she was out the door. With his head he motioned towards the door. "Alright I suppose if we want this to work the rest of you should go along after her. Dranz or Kenarri, I don't suppose I could possibly trouble one of you two to possibly carry this one here while Luca possibly heals him? If not I can figure something out...And remember if anyone questions you just simply refer them down here" he said with his tone still calm and clearly confident. He still chose not to explain nor tell what he intended to do or say with those that came down nor did he have any intention to at the moment.

Carefully he moved in such a way that he could get up from his squatting position while lifting the cat eared male without disturbing him too much. If one of the others agreed to carry him he would bring the male to them, after all he needed to head towards that way anyways to retrieve a few things, such as a lightly bloodied white coat. His eyes seem to glance around towards various walls, tables and cabinets, everywhere except the bloodied mess on the floor. Within a few moments he suddenly received the mental message from Miku and a slight smile faintly crossed his face. "I thought and hoped that, that would be the case. Therefore I'll be sure to call for you as well. When we're gathered once more another formulation of an escape plan can be made" came his mental reply. It was clearly better and easier for him to respond to one mind in a group then it had been before. Perhaps it had something to do with his powers awakening, though he couldn't be completely sure if that was the case.

Dear Lelie 05-14-2010 11:50 PM

{sorry, it takes me so long to reply. I'm trying to be on more often now. Work is a little against that though
&& it was no problem Chiku =]}

Luca ignored the conversation. Of course she heard it and a small blush colored her cheeks at the mention of being Kage's girlfriend. Honestly, besides her family he had been the only male interaction she had, so this concept of "girlfriend" was a bit confusing to her. Then again she became lost in her own thoughts. What constituted a girlfriend? Did people choose their girlfriends or did it just happen? Many questions passed threw her mind. The blonde found that she found the other female a little bizarre, but there was not much to be done about that. Luca really found all people strange thus why she rarely interacted with them and kept to herself.

The young woman was pulled from her thoughts when the one she was meant to tend to spoke. She tilted her head slightly as he spoke. His broken sentences were quite strange, but who was she to judge. Then she tilted her head even farther when he asked if he could have a bite... of her. Then she watched as Kage picked him up. Luca shook her head. "I am not sure why someone would indeed bite someone, but it is no trouble. I can easily tend your wounds," she answered in a slightly light tone of voice. Standing up she pulled the boy back out of Kage's arms. "I will not be long Kage. Give me a brief few moments and he shall be fine," she answered cheerily. Luca set the boy back down quickly as she was not the strongest girl around. Making a few quick symbols and mentally saying a chant she placed on hand on the boy's stomach and the other on his forehead. After a few moments of concentration a pale blue light shown from her hands. Then a few seconds later she grinned. "There, that should feel much better now, no?" Luca asked lightly then looked up at Kage and again back down to the boy.

Dranz watched as Miku walked off and disappeared before looking back at the small group. When he was complimented he shifted some uncomfortably. It was strange to be complimented after so much abuse from his tormentors. "Uh...Thanks..." He stated, almost under his breath. Hearing another request he walked closer. The strange boy from earlier was too weak to walk, or so the impression was with the way he was clinging to everyone. It was all rather strange...
"I can carry him if he needs to be." Inwardly he felt that it would be getting back at Kennari for manipulating him so easily within a spellfield earlier if he could show his strength. After all, in here that was all he really had. That and some rather persuasive voices. In thinking he lost track of his surroundings and was somewhat startled when he found the new girl closer than he had previously thought as she healed the cat-like one. As much as he wanted to find out who she was he knew that now was not the time and he quickly moved to pick up the newly healed male.

(I'm back in TX now so the weather is just rainy but no tornado warnings or whatnot thankfully)

Kenarri smiled at Miku's apathetic words feeling that she was being a bit difficult with him but it didn't matter to him nonetheless or so he felt. He sat back and watched as the events unfolded and the cat like creature was eventually healed by the new woman whom he had yet to introduce himself to with a degree of interest but it was short lived. He had no intention on carrying the thing that had bit him once before as he planned to not have the same thing happen twice. Besides it didn't matter since Dranz had quickly went to take on the task himself. Happy that he didn't have to do it, Kenarri decided it was best to take Kage's advice and leave. He then walked out carefully having to step over bodies and puddles of blood, then he moved swiftly to catch up to Miku as he wanted to speak with her once more. He was hoping she hadn't took off too fast otherwise it would be doubtful for him to catch up.

The strange womans answer didn't make sense to him so he figured he could ask again. The not dead tank man said it was okay so long as he got permission. Dhaymar wasn't sure why, nor did he really think about it, but the strange man's words seemed to stay with him. Odd that he should remember when he remembered almost nothing as nothing was important to him.

He nuzzled the girl and said happily, "Magic lady, magic hand, magic blood?" He tapped her collar bone lightly, "thud, thud, thud, heartbeat and blood." He gave her a rather sort of devilish naughty boy smile and asked, "Just a sip and Dhaymar would feel so much more better." He did not even register that people were talking about carrying him or the fact that he might be changing hands yet once again. He simply smiled at the kind lady and hoped he might get a sip even if he didn't get a meal.

(That's good then that your not getting any warning. :D And it's quite alright Lelie, work does take up a bit of time, as it's taking up mine as well. But yay for days off. :D)

Kage nodded in understanding as Luca mentioned that she wouldn't be long and need only a few moments to heal the male. His gaze then switched over to Dranz and again he nodded, though this time in appreciation that he would volunteer to carry the male if he needed it. "Thank you" he said gently with a faint smile. He glanced over towards Kenarri and managed to catch the sight of him exiting the area, possibly to catch up with Miku. His attention was drawn back though towards Luca and the cat eared male as the female asked if he felt better, and at his reply of asking for what it appeared to be her blood to drink. The ebony and crimson haired man was relieved that he was at least obeying his 'warning' of asking first, though once he realized that it was for something a bit more than just simple biting...Well that for now was for Luca to give permission for, and he would not interfere with that.

He carefully watched in silence for a few moments before feeling satisfied and sure that the male would indeed wait for the permission to be granted by the female genie. "You'll all probably want to catch up with the other two though here soon...After all one can only wait for so long before the story becomes compromised" he said after a few moments with a sigh, as once more the time constraint came to mind. He then began to back away slightly, so as to avoid stepping on either Luca or the male or accidentally bumping into Dranz, using the nearest wall for a bit of balance still.

Once he was backed up enough he moved himself from the wall and began to go towards a cabinet on the far end. He was still slightly wobbly although it was clearly better then before. He was once more almost use to such a simple action as walking, and to his legs that it wouldn't be long before the wobble completely vanished. Once he was at the cabinet he held out one hand, palm up, towards what appeared to be a lock. Before long a decent sized flame appeared in the hand and began shaping itself into a ball and flying towards the lock, causing it to immediately melt to the floor. After wards he then simply opened the cabinet, revealing inside what appeared to be things such as medical caps, gloves, masks and other various supplies. He had watched the white coats enough and knew exactly which cabinets held what it was he needed. His fire abilities, although not yet fully awakened, were strong enough to handle the locks, so he wasn't too concerned about them nor any effect the melted locks would have on whatever it was he was planning on doing with those that were sent here.

Miku could hear murmurs from the room where the group had been gathered, but she didn't concentrate on them. She opened her eyes and looked at the guard that she had knocked out lying on the floor. He had blood coming out of his mouth and a large bruise on his chin. At least he's still breathing. she thought. He did take a terrible fall down these stairs. Her mind drifted as she thought about what could possibly happen due to her recent activities. This was in fact, the first time she had truly "misbehaved" since Sefi had died. Now that he wasn't here to punish her, she wondered who would. She felt her senses prick causing her to look up; she heard footsteps walking towards her. She smiled when she saw that Kenarri had indeed followed her. The male seemed to want to speak with her so she titled her head to the side and asked him, "You look as though you wish to say something," she added with a hint of attitude, "or are you just following orders?" She bit her tongue again at her remark. Of course he's following orders! she thought to herself, Why else would he be here? She stood and began to ascend the stairs, only to stop and look over her shoulder. "Where are Dranz and Dhaymar? Maybe you should go help them." This is the best way to get away from him. she thought, Make an enemy of him. Or at least make it so he doesn't like me. She didn't know why she wanted so much to get away from Narri – perhaps it was because she wanted to be close to him. Not many people could spur her into bouts of anger or make her hope for things and a future she had deemed impossible. "What are you?" she whispered as she slowly began to climb the stairs again.

As the half demon reached the stairs he had finally caught sight of Miku as she turned around and gave him a unwelcome greeting but he ignored her attitude. The guards were much more annoying than she was and he never got upset at them so she would have to try much harder to push his buttons, or at least in his human state she would. As he finally fell into stride with the woman he smiled at her before he answered her question in a soft tone, "Yes I do have something to say to you milady. In fact, I have a question..." His smile slowly slipped away though at the remark that he would be following directions since he had caught up with her, "No... I'm not just 'following orders' I have a will of my own and I do as I please. If I was just following orders I would have left as soon as you did instead of staying long enough to watch Dhaymar get healed by that new woman." His voice had a slight hint of frustration in it as he spoke and as well as when he continued, "Listen I just wanted to ask you why it is that you seem to always have an attitude with me even though I risk myself, my life at that, for you?" His eyes glowed a gorgeous golden color as he looked at Miku with a baffled a sorrow filled expression, he didn't think he had done anything to deserve her animosity but maybe he did. He stopped just as she did when she asked where Dranz and Dhaymar were and replied calmly, "Still back with Kage and that woman, and I think they can handle themselves just fine. As I recall you are the one who needed protection in the fight." He had not meant to say that with so much irritation in his voice but he couldn't help it. She was getting under his skin with this high and mighty act of hers that was completely unnecessary but he would refuse to show it. He had heard her whisper a question under her breath as they began to climb the stairs once more but he decided to leave it be not wanting to invoke her wrath upon himself over anything else.

Wrenji-chan 05-16-2010 11:59 PM

Miku stopped in her tracks and spun to look at Narri. "Why didn't you let me die then?!" she yelled, "Didn't you think about that? What am I to you?!" She had never felt so much anger in her life and began to shudder as her rage grew. She balled her hands into fists and tried to control her thoughts – which at the current moment were about inflicting pain. I can't attack him. she thought, I don't have any offensive powers. She ripped the glasses from her face and threw them against the wall; they made a weak shattering sound. "I'm clearly too weak to do anything, therefore I am of no help to your cause." she said in a voice that dripped with poison. "Why don't you just kill me yourself? You're certainly brutish enough." She blinked a few times as she reigned in her emotions – just like she had be taught, all those years ago. She opened her eyes, took a deep breathe and unclenched her fists, then shook her head and walked up the remainder of the stairs.

I understand, OH is worse than Western PA and when there were storms out there they were pretty rough. Eastern PA is getting just as bad though, we had a tornado warning the other day. O.o THEY'RE SPREADING!! ))
Realizing what the strange kid was up to, Dranz quickly scooped up the starving body and positioned him over one shoulder. It was easier and seemed more like what a guard might use. "I don't think she'll be willing to do something like that so quickly." He stated, twitching at the influence he felt coming from the body he now held. "We have to leave now." He answered blankly, knowing that his mental state was only going to deteriorate at this rate.
As he navigated the room of corpses, though, he paused and looked over at Kage when he saw the fire. That was something else he missed...being able to make fire at will. Once he was out of here he could go back to that life again, but right now he would have to continue to deal with hell. With that in mind he stepped towards the door and looked back to the girl. "Are you coming?"
