{My day off is tomorrow. Which I can't wait for haha. Otherwise I've been working since I moved out :sweat: }
Luca was surprised again when the male asked if he could have a sip. Again she was still utterly confused and was somewhat glad when the other man scooped him up. What on earth does he mean by sip? And blood? This is why I never talk to people,' she thought as she slowly stood up. Slowly she turned to look at Kage. Honestly, she didn't want to leave him. Usually she spent a few hours with him then had to leave. But today she was late and surprisingly he seemed to have a sort of gathering with him. Luca was pulled out of her thoughts when the other male asked if she was coming. Nodding she ran towards the two. She knew that Kage knew that she would be back... either later today or early tomorrow. The blonde wanted to make sure that her only friend was okay. She could ask her friend tomorrow what the strange boy meant by sip. Of course she knew that she could ask the boy, but that was not something she wanted to do. Again she figured if they were going to try and escape as well she could at least tell them her name. "My name is Luca," she stated quietly as she walked beside the bigger man carrying the other one... who wished to bite her. |
(Lol my next day off is Thursday. ><)
Kage turned his gaze towards the two males and Luca, watching them leave the area for a few moments, before moving on to the next cabinet and giving the lock the same treatment as the one before it. Quickly he gathered a few objects from it, mainly empty looking jars, though a few held unknown liquid in them, a strange and unmarked small box, and a few supplies that looked to be something you'd find in a serious first aid area. He then moved back to the first cabinet and withdrew a cap, a pair of plastic medical gloves and a mask. He then took his supplies to the nearest table and set them down. For a moment he closed his red gaze and took a deep breath as he turned and began heading towards the messy pile of dead and unconscious bodies of the previous 'victims'. Once he was in front of the pile and he could hear the squelching noise of his shoes connecting with the blood he had no choice but to open his eyes and gaze upon the essential massacre. Immediately when he took in the sight of all the blood his head began to ache unmercifully, forcing him to claw a bit at the sides of his head in an attempt to get relief from the pain. In his mind countless images began flashing, though too fast for him to actually make any out. For him it felt as if his mind was trying to remember too much at once, and more than likely it was and thus was the cause of his pain. Despite it though he tried to push past it and focus as much as he could as he gazed at the various blood soaked coats. He knew that out of all them Miku probably took the least bloodied one, and so he would probably be left with the fairly blood soaked ones and ones that were completely drenched, but it didn't really matter too much. In truth his request for a not so bloodied one was simply a preference for him, but not essential to his plan. Looking around as best at he could at the mess he decided upon one that was still halfway drenched in the red liquid around his feet, but not overly so. He had to close his eyes for a moment when he first started reaching out for it, as it seemed the simple action made his mental pain spike to an unbearable height causing his out stretched arm and body to shake for a few moments. After a few moments the slight trembling ceased and the arm once more embarked on its journey, reaching its destination within a matter of seconds. He was forced again to open his red eyes as he worked on getting it off the dead white coated man. Once it was removed, Kage quickly pulled it to him and quickly moved away from the mess, heading back towards the table that held the other items that he had gathered from the cabinets. Once at the table he wasted no time in putting on the coat, that was slightly too big for his size, though not too terrible. He could feel the wet splatters and splotches cling to him in various places. Ironically enough that didn't seem to bother him too much. He then proceeded putting the cap on, taking extra care to put all of the ebony and crimson strands within its confines. That alone he knew would make it a little more difficult to identify him as the one that was once in the tank, but he knew that it would not be impossible and so secured the medical mask around his mouth and nose, pulling the white straps behind his ears to secure it on. Again he knew that his identity would still be hard to acquire, although he did know that one thing would still make him suspicious, his eye color. From what he had seen almost none of the white coats had the same red color as his own eyes. His hand then moved to the unmarked small box and opened it. Reaching in he pulled out two blue looking yet clear circular objects that looked similar to suction cups. He had seen a few of the white coats with irregular eye colors use them to change the color of their eyes, so long as they wore them. It took him a few moments and tries to get first one and then the other in correctly, and even when they were in the male was still far from use to their feel on his eyes and had to blink several times just to try and get use to them. He knew it was only temporary, and that as soon as they were all free he could relieve himself of the irritating things. If he had a mirror he would have seen that his eyes had changed to a clear light, yet deep at the same time, blue. He knew now with his disguise that he would not be recognizable to those who looked at him. Even his shoes were splattered with blood so identifying them too would be difficult. He knew that technically he wouldn't have to worry about his own voice, since so few had heard it, but he would attempt to change it anyways. Once his disguise was complete he quickly took the other objects on the table he had gotten out, and placed them in a side pocket of the coat with the least amount of blood. He then forced himself to turn and return to the bloodied pile. The pain surged up again as his eyes came upon the sight again, causing him to quickly kneel down and take a few shuddering breaths. Closing his eyes again he dipped his hands into the pile of blood and quickly rubbed the red liquid over his hands, and placed a few more streaks on the coat, as well as splattering a bit across his face, including on the mask and cap. He remained in the knelt position and allowed himself to show across his face the pain he was feeling, although not really liking that, knowing that it would help with what he had concocted. He was ready for anyone of the faculty that decided to enter the room. |
The golden eyes, hidden by the helmet, looked over at the blonde. She had seemed worried about Kage, so he could only figure she was the one they had been waiting for in the room. If that was the case then he would have to try and remain sane around her. "Dranz." He simply stated, keeping his focus on stifling the mental laughter at the guards peril throughout the hall. "It's...nice to meet you."
As they came to the stairs he looked up and shifted the weight on his shoulders some. This was where most of the guards would find them. |
After recovering her poise, Miku focused her attention on the bottom of the stairs where the rest of the company appeared. She looked past Narri – standing on the top of the stairs she could easily look over him. 'Only the three of them, just like you said Kage. Should we be looking for more?' She sent the message to their leader who had stayed behind. Glancing back toward the group, she noticed the dragon's slight discomfort and said with a smile "Don't worry dear Dranz. There are not going to be guards coming to these stairs anytime soon. If I am correct, Carl would have had the next watch. Seeing as he is dead, I do not think he will report to his post." How could she talk about someone's death so casually? After the slaughter in the room down stairs, it seemed that it would soon become part of her life. She wondered about how many more people she would have to kill before this was over. Snapping out of her daydreaming, she looked back at Dranz. "Were you a friend of his? If I recall, you worked here before... becoming a prisoner." She had a feeling that she was walking on thin ice asking him that, but she was naturally curious and was probably the only one who had recognized him – if only barely.
Hearing his name mentioned Dranz looked up at Miku, not having realized she was there. Being told that it was Carl who had just been felled...that got to him, but not as much as the next question. If it weren't for his burden he would have sprung at her. Even if he could not fly he could still jump a good distance, probably enough to reach her had he done it. Instead he had to be content with a snarl and slight look of ferociousness. "Yes, I knew Carl. We usually had dinner together." That was true, even after his incarceration Carl had been one of the more sympathetic guards. "His family will miss him." That part was not. Carl never married.
Miku backed down the hall - at the top of the stairs - a step or two when Dranz snarled at her. What was it with male trying to prove how tough they were? She stole a glance at Narri, who stood about halfway up the staircase and rolled her eyes. She was relieved that Dranz was carrying Dhaymar, if only because he protected her from the dragon's wrath; there was also Luca there, who might be able to calm him if the need arose. Calling down to Dranz, she said, "Sir dragon, you needn't be upset with someone who was merely asking you a question." She chose her words carefully, as to not give off an aloof attitude. It had been years since she was given the title "princess" and she had always refused to act like one... till now, that is. She change her focus to the guard and sighed. "Carl was my only friend here." she said truthfully, looking away, "I'm such a terrible person to have broken his neck and not shed a tear." Certainly the dragon would injure her now – not that she wanted him to – for revealing her heinous crime. She looked him in the eyes and waited to see how he would react.
He was mentally certain that she was provoking him now. The way she was talking about it aroused no sympathy in him, only antipathy. Without thinking about it twice he set down the boy he was carrying and sprang upwards, landing at the top of the stairs, only a short distance away from Miku. "Your pretty words do nothing but fuel my rage. Do not treat me like one of your pitiful underlings, Miku, because I most certainly am not."
That was it. Today was not a good day for her. Miku was tired of it and had to say something. "Oh look, a male trying to prove how powerful he is. I never seen something like this before." Miku sneered. Something pricked her senses, but she ignored it and continued. "Too bad though, Kenarri beat you to it." She looked at the male as she spoke about him. Kenarri wanted her to show emotion, well here it was. Her senses started tingling again – this time she felt an almost burning sensation in the back of her mind and her expression became pained. Glaring at Dranz she said in a calm yet annoyed voice,"Someone's coming, please behave."
The footsteps came slowly down the hall and soon a young male guard was standing a few feet in front of Miku. He opened his mouth and asked in a gruff voice, "Who are you and what are you doing here?" He clearly had paid no notice to Miku lab coat nor Dranz's guard uniform. Miku saw that he had some sort of weapon strapped to his waist. She looked at Dranz and smiled. He probably knows this boy, let him explain this. she thought to herself. |
((O.O I completely forgot about this rp xD anyone want to summarize for me >.>...?))
The genie walked beside Dranz and understood he was having a hard time. She wondered what could be wrong with him though she wasn't sure. Luca was a bit surprised when they met the two on the steps. She smiled at little trying to be nice. Then at the female's questions she wanted to smack her.. Really, the blonde had thought she was heartless when really the other girl was. Dranz was obviously hurt by her words, why did she need to contiue? She watched as the male named Dranz leapt towards the female. Of course Luca did not blame him, the girl was rude. The blonde could already tell she was really not going to enjoy any sort of interaction she was going to be having with her. "Miss, I like how you think that these men are just trying to prove how strong they are to you. Perhaps you have not lost someone in your life that you would not know that to see a friend slaughtered before your eyes is not pleasant. So, I would suggest biting your tongue next time you have something smart to say... And maybe you are the one who should behave," Luca said in her emotionless tone.
Her brown eyes looked to the guard who had walked in. She smiled a little. This guard was always nice to her, Cervelli was his last name. She had never come to know his first. Luca stepped from behind the group towards the male. Luca acted rather innocent as she waved slightly at him. "Just me, sir... getting into trouble like usual," she said softly slightly changing her usual tone. She brushed a few strands of blonde hair over her shoulder. Of course she could possibly flirt her way out of it, but she would rather not. Acting was not something she really enjoyed doing. Luca knew that the female had wanted Dranz to take the fall, but of course the blonde had gotten herself into enough trouble to cover for the group of them. Plus, Cervelli was nice, he wouldn't hurt her too bad if he had to. |
Kenarri was losing his patience with the woman who continually gave him an attitude for no good apparent reason. He had done nothing to her and she was always upset at him for his words whether they be kind or not. Biting his tongue at the urge to allow his demon side out and to handle the woman as he had the all the guards below he walked up the stairs in silence taking his time deliberately to allow himself time to cool off. He had heard Miku speaking to Dranz and he had heard the new woman come to their defense and although he was grateful that wasn't what he had wanted. When he reached the top of the stairway he placed his hand on Miku's shoulder and in a quick action he spun her around and slammed her up against the stained wall, "I don't have any idea what the hell made you so bitter in your past but whatever it is, ain't me or any of us here today. Let the past stay were it belongs and join us in our time period, unless you want to die as a relic of your past. I will not continuously risk my life for someone who acts as ungrateful as you do any longer, I've reached my limits with you. I helped you as you asked me to do and this is how you repay me? You will find that grace and mercy only extend to those who deserve them..." His tone was sharp even for his normally gentle voice although he hadn't kept a tight grip on the woman as he only wanted to get her attention and not threaten or harm her. Then looking over at the guard, making sure to make eye contact, he had smiled and to a bow, "Forgive me," he whispered before he snapped his fingers and the guard fell asleep standing where he was.
(Forgive the long absence ladies and gents, I have been doing quite a bit of... unexpected travelling but things have settled in, sorry,) |
(( not a problem Mars. we missed you! :D ))
Before Miku could thank the blonde girl – and say what she wanted to say – her back was pinned against the wall and Kenarri was speaking to her – in a clearly upset voice. The wings on her back stung a bit at their sudden contact with the wall causing her to wince. But what frightened her more was Narri himself, who had a firm hand on her shoulder. She froze in his gaze and listened to every single word that came out of his mouth. When he looked away, she cautiously let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding and looked to the floor. My past? She thought, Is that what this is about? Am I acting this way because of Sefi and what he did? Or, is it because I've truly given up on the idea of life? She didn't say anything for a few moments for fear of being thought of as arrogant. What had made her act that way to these people who only wanted to help? What was making her fulfill her duties? Luca and Dranz were right, they weren't her underlings – let alone her people – she had no right to tell them what to do. In a weak whisper she said, "I know it may not mean much to anyone, but I am sorry. To all of you." She moved Narri's arm so she could walk around him and back down the stairs. She stopped when she was standing next to Dhaymar and sank to her knees. Reaching out she brushed a stray hair from his face. He didn't look sickly anymore and she could only assume that Luca had healed him. 'What am I to do Kage? she said sorrowfully to the man in the room down the hall, 'It seems as though I've no companions in this group.' A silent tear slide down her face and she smiled at Dhaymar. "I am sorry to you most of all, little one." she whispered, "I wish I could have helped you when you needed to be helped." She took off the coat she wore and wrapped it around the male, before standing, picking him up and cradling him in her arms. It would have looked odd to see her carrying a full grown man, but she felt as though she was hold a pound of feathers. She ascended the stairs once more and began to walk down the hall, she stopped in front of the group and looked at each of them. She could feel the anger and frustration she had caused coming from their eyes. The guard that Kenarri had dealt with lie on the floor and she looked at him to avoid the others' stares. |
((aww now I want ot give Miku a hug xD.... *has no idea how to enter Tura again xD*))
(( Hey Star! I'll give you a quick update....
Circe showed up in the room (she's a half evil... witch?) She poofed somewhere and killed a Coat. Then bunch of Coats entered the room; Miku was injected with a sedative, leaving her unable to do anything. Kenarri cast an Illusion, and all the Coats killed themselves. Kage is out of his tank. Luca showed up and healed Dhaymar who had eaten a formaldehyde'd animal. Kage came up with a plan of action: sending everyone back to their rooms. The group that was there – not including Circe and Kage – left and are currently in the stairwell. Miku said a lot of stupid stuff, got in a fight with Narri, then with Dranz, and potentially Luca... Kage is still in the room, planing things. There was a guard but, as mentioned above, Narri took care of him. That's all I can remember off the top of my head. I hope this caught you up a little. )) |
((caught me up pretty much all the way xD. I'm just not sure how to have 'Tura come back though xD *pokes the cursed, stuck were-cat* ))
(( Maybe she could find us? We're going to the room area... maybe. If something, or someone, doesn't change that plan. XP She could call out to Miku, who's telepathic, or just beat on her door repeatedly.))
((well at this point she just goes in her rom and stys there as she's told so nobody checks her door >.>.... she just doesn't want to care anymore xD.))
(( hmm... well she know about the other people right? Maybe she could find them in the shape of another animal? Or hey, Miku half animal... or would that not work? Both Kage and Miku know that the mouse in the room wasn't a normal mouse. I'm sorry, I'm terrible at giving out ideas. ))
( I never thought of her taking half animals >.> ...but when she takes the body like that the conscious goes to sleep essentially so I don't think you'd want her to go into miku anyway xD. hmmm I think I can come up with an idea eventually though XD I haven't been feeling well is all so I've been lazy. ))
Lolz. Technically that means she could easily access Dranz's consciousness as well. ><;; ))
((only if it's decided she can take over half animal bodies as well. I'm letting you guys decide >.>, anywho I"m off for a while now))
Dranz had wanted to reply to Miku's sarcasm. He wanted to kill her for making presumptions about why he was angry at her. Trying to prove himself stronger? That was a laugh. If he had wanted to he would have done something much different and much more dangerous. The dragon had been surprised to see Kenarri suddenly pinned her, even more so at her reaction afterwards. He watched as she picked up the boy, and growled some at her apology. "Like I said before, words hold little meaning for me. Don't expect me to accept it anytime soon."
‘Tura had finally awoken from the mouse’s death, her head pounding. She slowly stood up while running a hand through her dark, almost black, blue hair. She was hungry and wondering if she’d missed dinner she stepped out of her room, one dark ear twitching it’s velvet form towards the sound of people talking. She was curious vaguely and so stepped against a nearby wall, leaning her shoulder into it as she placed her hands in her pockets and grew comfortable. Her tail waved lazily behind her as she gazed at the group in thought, her face passive… an emotionless mask that made the tall, cat like woman even more intimidating to some people.
Narri stood to his full height as the guard hit the floor and showed no reaction at Miku's apology. It was apparent that something had clicked and she had mellowed down but maybe a bit too much, she seemed to be in a depression. He had some sympathy for the woman having just been woken up to the reality she was now facing and having to let go of her turbulent past. The half demon wanted to try and help her again but he had no idea how she would react and his patience had worn thin with people and their attitudes but still something told him that he should try. So catching up to Miku he placed a hand on her shoulder and presented her with a gorgeous and soothing smile as he spoke so that only she could hear him, "Look I know my words were harsh and I know whatever you're going through is hard but I do want you to know that you have allies. I'm here for you if you just want to talk or anything, but unfortunately we won't be able to do this now. We're already short on time so we need to get out of this area, after all the guard will wake up in a few more minutes so we should be gone by the time he's awake." Smiling gently for her once more he looked back at the others and said, "We should really get out of here quickly," then turned and began walking down the stained hallway.
“Cute” the rather sarcastic woman thought to herself as she watched Miku and Narri with that same blank stare. She was curious however, and as Narri spoke it was clear he was the reason for the guard being unconscious… or at least some one in the group was. She eyed them silently, idly wondering if they were among those trying to escape. Long ago she had tried as well… but now… now she just gave up. Then again… in her case perhaps she was right she belonged here.
