Ralph chuckled and smiled at James. "But he was all worked up yesterday. He deserves to sleep." he said and James got closer to Ralph. He felt Ralph's warmth and it was comforting to him.

" You are right " Lilly smiled "sleep peacefully James"

Ralph smiled. "You should of heard him earlier. He said I was like his brother." he said quietly. He was staring to realise that they were becoming more of a family then him hiding two Jews. They were more special.

" really how cute" lilly smiled happily

"Yeah. And he is like my little brother that I didn't have. He died before he was born" Ralph said softly. He looked at Lilly and then smiled. All his life he had been alone surrounded by people and now he had someone.

" Oh i am sorry to hear that..." Lilly frowned

"It's ok. Now I have ou and James." Ralph said smiling down at James. "So I think we are almost to my sisters." he said smiling seeing her house in the distance.

" Oh it is lovely she must be happy to live there" Lilly smiled

"She is. She loves the mountains." Ralph said. He walked up and rang the door bell. A women that looked almost identical to Ralph but more feminine answered. "Ralph? What brings you here?" she asked smiling then seeing Lilly she looked at him. "Is she-" "No sis. relaxe. Some Nazis came and I was hiding these two. So I was wondering if we could stay for a while." he asked and the women smiled. "Sure come on in."

Lilly looked at his sister and smiled. "Nice to meet you" She smiled at her as she walked into the house

Katlyn smiled. "It is nice to meet you too." she said happily and lead Ralph to a room where he could put James down. "So Ralph there is nothing going on between you and this girl is there?" she asked surprising Ralph. "Yes but it just happened today." he said looking at her. "Ok please be careful." Katlyn said looking at him concerned. "I always I am." he said and walked back out to Lilly. "So Lilly how do you like it here?"

" It is lovely and your sister is nice " she smiled at him as she looked at the sky

Ralph smiled and wrapped his arm around her. "You want to see my secret place?" he asked. He had lived with his sister many times and wanted a spot for him self since Katlyn had kids.

" Okay" She smiled at him happily

Ralph smiled and pulled her on to his back. He rana threw the forest and up to a very large tree. He climbed up with her and stopped at a wide branch. He sat down pulling her into his lap. "here is my secret spot.....well now our secret spot." he said cradling her against his chest.

" Wow it is lovely " She smiled at him happily " I hope we can come as much as we like"

ralph smiled and kissed her head. "We can come anytime you want to." he said and laid back. He was so tired from staying up all night last night and the night before he hadn't gotten much sleep. He didn't want to close his eyes for fear of falling asleep and something happening to Lilly.

" Your tired please sleep i will wake you if anything"

Ralph nodded and pulled her closer. "Thank you." he whispered before falling asleep.

Lilly rested her head on his shoulders and soon fell asleep herself

Ralph smiled and held Lilly tighter. James woke and walked over to Katlyn. "Oh James why don't you go back to sleep?" she said and he got in her lap then fell asleep.

Lilly dreamed peacefully. As she was held in Ralph's lap

Ralph woke early in the morning. He smiled seeing Lilly sleeping. He didn't want to move and risk waking her.

She awoke about an hour later " Hey did you sleep well?"

Ralph smiled and kissed Lilly's head. "I sleept wonderfully." he said. "And how did you sleep?" he asked kissing her head again.
