Chagera stood leaning against a pole near the school. He was dressed in his usual style, black shirt and Jeans with dressy shoes. There was a sucker in his mouth and a back DS in his hands. He seemed to be amusing him self with what ever game he was playing. Occasionally he'd start tapping at the screen with one of those nicely manicured nails.

Riko pulled the hood up over his head and stuffed his hand in his pocket as he walked over to Chagera. "Umm... hi..." He said keeping his head down and biting his lip. He wore a pair of school jeans, and his same sweater over his vest and school shirt, the only thing other then his sweater that made him seem out of code were the bandages that were scattered about his face, and the bandage around most of his head which covered his right eye.

Chagera folded the DS closed and tucked it in his pocket. He leaned forwards a little trying to pull back the hood, "Hey what are you doing hiding under there" He asked with a small smile. Still not aware of the boy's injuries.

Riko stepped back as he reached for his hood and smiled. "N..nothing... I... It's cold..." He lied dropped his hand, forgetting about the bandage on it.

Chagera spotted his hand and grabbed his wrist gently but firmly, "Whats this?" He asked softly, "Why do I get the feeling your hiding something?" He asked worriedly. "Please don't hide things from me Riko..."

Riko flinched and bit his lip as pain shot up his arm. "I...I tripped taking the trash out last night..." He lied taking his arm back and sighing. He didn't want to like to him... but if they knew that his mother did this, they'd take him away from her... and she'd be all alone.

"And fell into a cactus?" He asked skeptically, "What wee you taking out to the trashcan? Broken bottles?"
Chagera shook his head a bit and reached up grabbing the lip of the hoodie and pulled it back before Riko could stop him. He stared at the boy for a moment, his face quivered for a moment as if not quite sure what expression to make. It eventually took on one of concern. He placed a hand on his uninjured cheek and sighed a bit "Are you going to be okay?" was all he asked. Though his eyes were begging for more information, he knew better than to push it. |
Riko sighed as Chagera pulled back his hood and nodded. "I..I'll be fine.... I'm used to this.... i..it's been worse..." He muttered grabbing his hand and pulling it off his cheek. "So... what do you want to do today?" He asked smiling and biting his lip at the pain it caused.

"Take you to a doctor..." He offered, "But I suppose thats asking to much" He said with a sigh.
He thought it over for a moment and looked at Riko, "You pick...where's some place you've always wanted to go?" He asked. |
"I couldn't go to a doctor anyways...." He whispered. "And any place but home sounds fine to me... want to go to the Arcade?" He asked smiling softly, so as not to give himself to much pain.

Chagera nodded, "Alright arcade it is" He said softly, "er...is there anywhere besides the obvious...that I shouldn't touch?" He asked. He didn't want to cause the other any pain unnecessarily.

"My ribs are in a lot of pain, my face hurts to smile... and my right arm..." He said dropping a soft smile and holding out his left hand.

Chagera nodded and took his hand leading him off down the street a little.
He took a deep breath, "Is it even work asking you for the truth?" he asked quietly. |
"... My mom...'" He said simply and dropped the subject as a few girls from the school walked past and began giggling at the two of them. RIko looked down blushing and bit his lip, knowing how odd it would look for the college man to be holding hands with a jr. High boy.

Chagera really didn't register that the girls were giggling at them. He paused outside the arcade and looked back at Riko for a moment. He sighed a bit and shook his head, he reached up and touched the skin below the eye patch lightly, "for what its worth... Your still really cute..even like this" He said smiling.

Riko looked up at Chagera and blushed, then blinked a few times, as tears slid down his cheek. "I... I'm sorry..." He whispered as more and more tears slid down his face. He moved a bit closer to Chagera and wrapped his arms around him as he cried.

Chagera blinked a bit and sighed rubbing his back a little, "Shhh shh.." He whispered "It's okay..." He said softly, "Its okay you can go on an cry if you need too.."
((Sorry for not replying sooner. Had a Lan Party at my house this weekend XD My kitchen still hasn't fully recovered...and won't till Tuesday D: )) |

Riko ooked up and wiped his eyes. "I....I shouldn't.. someone will... will wonder why..." He said tryin to calm himself down. |
"No its fine... no one cares" Chagera said rubbing his back a little. He rested his head on top of Riko's and closed his eyes. "Besides your a smart kid you can make something up if anyone asks..."

Riko nodded as he spoke and let out a few dry sobs and then coughed a bit. "I...I don't want to go home... I'm afraid of her..." He said finally.

Chagera bit his lip a little, "I don't wanna sound overly forward...but you...can come by my place if your that scared..." He said softly.
"I promise I won't hurt you or anything..." |
Riko looked up in surprise and blinked. "Y...your place... Really?" He asked looking confused.

"Well I can't stand to see you so scared... so yeah... You can come over" Chagera offered softly, "I don't mind...its just me and my roommate anyways..."

Riko smiled and hugged Chagera. "Thank you. So much... are you sure your roommate won't mind?" He asked suddenly.

Chagera shrugged, "he'll get over it..." He said slowly releasing Riko from the Hug. He placed a hand on his head and smiled a bit.
