"So guys, how was first and second period? Mine was rather amusing, I kicked Jake and Evan's asses at soccer and the watched Ty nearly blow himself up in the chem lab." Midnight sat down beside Steph, eyes on Piper. Her skin looked paler than usual.

"It was alright, chemistry was a bit boring to be honest, but Drama was good." steph spoke between mouthfulls of kitkat.
"I got detention since i didn't do chemistry homework." Piper spoke slowly, she had done everything to get a detention so she didn't have to face lunch with Ty, in the end she had to beg the teacher to give her a detention.

"Well, that's a bummer. Oh, crap. Singing practice...then soccer practice after classes, urgh. Can't be bothered today. I tripped over one of Miguel's rakes and floored the dumpsters again." Midnight admitted gesturing to the bruises on her arms.

Piper sighed, just then she noticed Ty walking up to their table, she hastily picked up her bag.
"Eh guys i need to go, byebye"

"Uhm, okay. See you then." Midnight trailed off as she watched Piper go. Steph raised an eyebrow, "She left in a hurry."
"I know. Wonder why..." Midnight muttered and pulled out a cookie from the batch her mother made this morning. She saw Ty wander past the table and in the general direction that Piper had gone in.

Piper wasn't sure where to go to avoid Ty so she just went wandering round the school and then headed for the library. She hoped Ty wouldnt go in the library.

"Well, I think Ty likes her..." Steph said quietly. Midnight looked at her and then she nodded her head, "Why do I feel like there's a but on the end of that sentence."
"There is. The only problem is that Ty still goes out with Tina from Ohio. I mean I'm sure she's cheating, I was talking to her cousin and I got the vibe." Steph continued.
"Ah...right. That is a problem." Midnight concurred.

Piper sensed Ty follow her all the way to the library. Once at the library door she turned round to see if he was still following her, and there he was, right next to her.
Her heart started racing and she didnt know what to do. Should she just go in? or should she say something.

"Yo, Midnight!" Jake called down the canteen and strode down the hallway towards their table.
"Hola, Jake. What do you want?" Midnight smiled up at him, he was really tall - and it wasn't because she was seated.
"Mind homework helping, this Saturday...well, tomorrow really isn't it?" He smiled. "I have an English report to write and I'm not sure how to word it and you're the genius."
"I would, but I'm working...hey, maybe if you came by the shelter you could sit by the counter and I'll help, Seniora Liza wont mind."
"It's a date!..Study-date. Date of studying... I need to go. See you Saturday!" He called whilst running down the hall to Evan who was no doubt chatting up a girl.

"Piper... im s-s-orry for last night. I should have talked... i mean i dont know why i didnt i guess i was too stunned." Ty looked at Piper.
She didnt know what to do, "Uhm, wel ye it would have been nicer if you talked... but eh ye i gotta go." She practically ran through the library door.

"Well, that was weird." Steph smiled as she and Midnight walked down the hallway to English. "He seemed rather awkward towards the last bit of the conversation. Mr Cool, being awkward. Thatw as fun."
"Leave the poor boy alone. You get flustered and awkward if one says 'Sorry' for spilling acid on the floor." Midnight pointed out and grinned at Steph's blush.
Midnight heard quick and frequent footsteps behind them and turned to see Piper burst from a door behind them, The Library. Midnight raised an eyebrow, "Piper? What's wrong with you?"

"Bring me home NOw!" she said, she was so upset. Why did she have to storm out of the library? Away from the only guy that has ever been able to make her heart race?

"Okay, okay, Chica. Calm down!" Midnight grabbed Pipers arms and stopped her, "What happened?"
"We can't take you home. We have no idea where you live and it's called truancy." Steph geeked using the 'big words'.

Before she could stop herself she burst into tears.
"Last night, me and Ty went to the park. I thought it'd be like a date..." she sniffed, "But he didnt talk or move at all... it was really akward, even when i left in a huff he didnt stop me or say something." she sniffed again, "Now when i walked away it was cause he was coming towards us and i want to avoid him since he obviously just wants to waste my time. And at the library he said sorry and like he didnt know what was wrong with him. But i was so sad and angry at him that i just walked off..."

"He's still dating Tina from Ohio, I think he's confused about a bunch of shit. I mean his folks just split up, his Uncle died and his Father's dying with Bowel Cancer." Steph blurted out quickly then muttered quietly, "I'd not be too panicked about the incident at the park..." Steph looked down, her father was good friends wiith the Whites.
"Right, well, you're not running now, because he's right behind us!" Midnight muttered in a slight panic.

Piper was shocked to hear that Ty had so much going on. "Why's he dating Tina? she is QEEUN bitch of Ohio! Its not like she would actually feel sorry for him."
Piper really wanted to run away but she couldnt because of Midnight's firm grasp on her arm.
"Midnight, let go! please..." but to late TY was here.

"Uhm hi," he gave a faint smile and wave to Midnight, Steph and rest his eyes on Piper.

"Hi Ty! How you doing?" Steph asked joyfully, completely ignoring Piper's glares.

"Eh im alright i s'pose." he said looking down. Piper really wanted to hug him right there and now.

"Kay, we have English, Steph, let's head." Midnight smiled and released her grasp on Piper and grabbed Steph's arm and then they strutted off down the halls leaving Piper to deal with Ty.

Piper sighed, nice friends she got. They're not even going to help out.
"Ye i've got english too actually, so i'll see you later?!" piper smiled sweetly and ran off after Midnight and Steph. He didnt call after her or try to stop her.

"Right, that did not go as planned. You were to speak to her." Midnight sighed.

"Meh, it didnt really look like he was going to say something." Piper shrugged,

"So, you left him. In the hall by himself. Tut Tut." Midnight smiled and shook ker head.

"Well he could have called after me or stop me, instead he just watched me go. I dont care anyway, really i dont." But really she did care, she really really really really did care and wished she could go back to Ty and make everything alright.

"Ay, amigo, the world can spin on it's own. It doesn't mean he can. It might be helpful to assert yourself into the situation a little better, Chica." Midnight went Philosipher and then smiled at her and Steph before turning off to their English class. She took her usual seat beside Sophia Rosella. The sister of the biggest bitch in the school, Cassidy - headcheerleader. Her sister sat behind her, "Look it's little Ms Tina Tequila.Oh, I'm sorry, do you even speak English?" She sassed bitchily and then grinned evily.
"Si. I speak Bitch too. I love your Pom Poms, however with that outfit it contributes to making you... 'U-G-L-Y! You ain't got no alibi, you ugly. hey, Hey, you ugly.!" Midnight retaliated in a sing song voice. Her sister laughed and so did half of the class, including Jake.
