Steph shrugged at Piper and they walked down the hall to their english class. Piper hadnt noticed this before but Steph was in a lot of her classes.

"To be or not to be?" Mr Fernadez quoted to the class who were far too bored, bar Midnight who was right into Shakespeare. Although she was waiting to attack Piper into talking to Ty.

The bell rang Steph and Piper waited outside Midnight's classroom for her to come. Piper noticed Ty hanging around the lockers looking over at her every so often, she turned her back on him.

"Hola, that Shakespeare had something going on. Especially Romeo and Juliet, so amazing! Oh, and yous all missed it when Ms CheerCaptain had a dig at me and I powned her." Midnight nodded and smiled. "Are you aware Ty is checking you out..?"

Piper sighed, "Shushed, can we not just forget about him? please for me?"

"Okay, like he's going to go away though. Anyways, I was debating with Lil Ms Cheerleader's sister. A study date. An excuse to be with the person you like with being to scared to ask them on an actual date? Or just a study session?" Midnight asked.

Piper grunted, "Pfff, i dont know."

Midnight gasped as she turned the corner and walked smack bam into Ty. He had a look of sheer determination on his face. "Piper, y ou're going to stand here and you're going to listen to me. Just once and I'll walk away to save you doing it." Midnight grabbed Piper's arms so she couldn't leave. Ty began an intervention, "I like you, Piper. The other day at the park I wasn't speaking because my mate in Ohio Bryant MMS'd me a picture of Tina cheating and she broke up with me the next day. I wanted to ask you out but you kept leaving when I tried to tell you. There, I'm done. I'll leave." He breathed heavily then turned to walk down the hall.

Piper didnt say anything, what could she say? She felt like crying...

"Well atleast he said something." Midnight said simply letting go of Piper and continued down the hall.

After the last bell went, Piper really didnt want to go to the orphan house... so she went to the park and walked to the quite bit where no one could see her and she cried. she cried the life out of her. Her life sucked, she had nobody or anything that loved her, and no one cared about her. She was stupid and people made fun of her. She cried until she could no longer stop herself, she took her pocket knife and brought it to her wrist -

"PIPER! What are you doing??!" Midnight cried as she happened to walk past the tree she sat by. She had gone a walk with TY and Jake because it was sunny and the path opened up to Piper attempting to Hack at her wrists! She lunged forward and wrenched the knife from her hand and lodged it in her back pocket.

Piper looked up at Midnight, "Give it back. please..." her eyes were swollen and she was shaking violently, she was going mad. She had to end this stupid shit.

"I don't think so, chicha. What were you thinking?!" Midnight sank down to Piper's eyelevel and put on the pity yet mad face. Ty sank down beside her and Jake, even though he was making fun of her not six hours ago sank down beside Midnight and bit his lip at the oncoming event.

Piper groaned, why did they all have to crowd her? She turned her back on Midnight, "Leave me alone."

"Man, this is uber unhealthy." Midnight commented.
"Is my Declaration of Likingness that bad?" Ty tried to joke.
Jake went to say something then thought about it then started and stopped, "Why do you erm need to do this...? Have you not seen how much shit things like this get you in school?"
"Jake...you're not the best person to tell her this..." Midnight muttered and patted his hand as a sign it was nice he was trying.

Piper looked at Ty, the to Midnight then to Jake. "You guys have no idea what its like to be me, you have no idea what its like to change school every 2months, have no friends no parents, and no one that actually cares about you. You have no idea."

"Well, there's other ways of battling out the demons! Anything other than death and selfharming!" Midnight stated. Jake joined in, "Yeah, my boy here," he gestured to Ty, "after all the shit he's been in...he pumped himself at the gym and got into sports."
"Yeah. Don't be defeated like this." Ty muttered to Piper.

"Ye whatever don't talk psychologie to me." Piper shrugged, "What's the point into getting into something when a couple months later you gotta start afresh again?!"

"Why do you have too? Do you not have a choice whether to stay or go?" Midnight asked Piper.

"No i don't have a choice, Orphan homes are more than happy to take in new poor little baby children but ones like me, the older ones they have to move house each time the house get full. Or then they find a parent, and your so pissed off you act like the moodyest teenager on earth and the parents just send you straight back to another orphan house."

"You've only been here a week, when are they 'shipping you off'?" Midnight asked and attempted to pull her up off the grass.

"You don't get it do you? I DO NOT want to be 'shipped off'. I want to be someone, i want to be loved and i want friends and a proper home?! Is that too much to ask?!"

"No, no! Not what I meant!" Midnight defended and then pulling Piper off the ground she began to drag her the few blocks to her parents cafe and her house. She motioned to Ty and Jake to come with her, "I'm taking her to Mom and Dad's diner. I'll hook ya'll up with Churros!" She smiled as they followed her down the road holding Piper's backpack.

Piper looked at Midnight, "Where are you taking me?!"
