"Hola Mexico Diner. My mom's and dad's place...well, my house. You'll like it." Midnight smiled. A plan was forming in her devious conciousness. Maybe Piper...didn't have to leave.

"Och, do they serve food? i missed dinner at the orphan house... AGAIN." Piper asked.

"Dude, her parnets own a Dddiiinnneeerrr." Jake grinned.
"Yeah, the best in town, if you ask me." Ty smiled at Midnight. She nodded, "Why thank you, Ty. My dad is an awesome cook." She turned to Piper, "Yes, you shall be fed."

Piper sighed, and looked at Midnight, to Jake and finally at Ty, "Thanks guys..." she trailed off and got a bit emotional but quickly wiped the tears out of her eyes and smiled.

"Hola chicos. ¿Cómo te va hoy?" Midnight's mom smiled as she served two of the cheerleaders from school. Midnight's parent's diner was the favourite food place in the town especially the people form school. That was how Midnight made friends with all of them.
"Hola mamá. ¿Podemos tener cuatro platos de tacos y churros alguno?" Midnight smiled and then looked at the confused faces that befell Ty and the others. Jake just smiled, "I heard Tacos and Churros it's all good!"

"Yum Tacos." Piper truly smiled for the first time in aaaaages, Jake and Midnight sat together which left Piper no choice but to sit next to TY, who smiled shyly and shuffled closer to her. She blushed a little.

"Well, papi does make the best Tacos and Churros ever. How old are you Piper? What are your interests...?" Midnight probed and secretly took notes on her cell phone non-chalantly. Jake gave Midnight an odd look and just shook his head. The two of them twitched their eyebrows up at Ty's movements towards Piper.

Piper looked at Midnight confuzzled... "Is this some sort of quiz?" piper laughed, "Ok well i am 16, i like to read, i like animals, dont mind sports too much... anything else?"

"Yes, how do you get on with dogs and Star Trek lovers??" Midnight grinned at her mom while speaking to Piper. What Piper didn't realise was that Midnight's aunt Rozella was just proven infertile. The sad truth was that she had a daughter who died in a car crash when she was six... Rozella was looking for a daughter to adopt and at an age avoiding her deceased daughter's (6). Midnight was unusually good at sparks of insanity. Rozella was coming up to visit that dy anyways...

"I love dogs!!! You gonna gimme a doggy?!?!?" Piper smiled, "And star trek is cool... i s'pose!" Piper looked at Ty and smiled, then back at Midnight, "Y?"

"You must stay here for a few hours..." Midnight grined evily and then smiled as her father rang the little bell to signal that the food was ready.

"euh okey... i s'pose i could... but ill have to call the maid at the orphan home to let her know." Piper said a little hesitantly.

"I will do that for you, chica." Midnight's mom put down four plates of Taco's and Churros on the table and smiled at Piper, "What is the number, sweetie? Is it in the 'agenda'?"

"Euh, i'll dial it for you. Easier to remember by just dialing it." Piper smiled and dialed the number.

"Hola Senorra Mitshcen?...Si, this is Essa Garcia at the All Mexican Diner*. You have a young woman, Piper staying with you, si?....She will be staying with us for the evening, will this be a problem?...Good, good, then. I will send my daughter and her to pick up her stuff shortly, si?...Gracias gracias. Bye." Essa dominated the conversation and then hung up the phone. She turned to the group, "Sorted, now eat up the churros."
*:P CHurros.*

Piper ate some more until she was stuffed. She was actually pretty excited about staying the night over with Midnight, her first sort of proper sleepover!! "Lets go get my stuff!!"

"Hey, why not have a party...?" Essa smiled and picked up their plates. "The pool's clean and we re-stocked the fridge, you have the new sound system. Why not show the guys your way of stress releiving..." Essa was leaning on Ty from behind the counter and scruffed his hair up. The boys were grinning widely, "Yeah!!!"
"Mom? Mom, are you ookkaayy?" Midnight said highpitched and enunciated the okay.
"I am brilliant Chica." She smiled and walked away.
"That was odd." Midnight pondered to herself.
"...God, I love your mom." Jake and Ty grinned to each other, "Why can't my mom be like that?"

Piper laughed, this was going to be awesome!! She quickly got in the car with Midnight.

Midnight laughed at Ty and Jake the whole way towards the Home, they were attempting to sing along to Gasolina in the most Mexican voice they could muster. She giggled at Piper in the passenger's seat and began to sing herself...only a little bit better than the boys in the back of the Midnight Purple Mercedes.
"Chica, what turn is it?" Midnight asked Piper.

"Second right." Piper smiled, she would sing along but she had a crap voice so she didnt bother.

"Right, okay." Midnight turned on the junction and her eyebrows raised at the Haunted House look of the Orphanage. It looked like Death with grey walls and tattered paint. Midnight looked over her sunglasses at it and gasped. "Christ, this is the home?"

Piper shifted in her seat uncomfortable, "ye" she said in a mumble, this was hell compared to Midnights house...

"Wow, no wonder you stayed at the park..." Midnight pulled up to the front of the Home and killed the engine. She was terrified to leave the car and enter the monstrosity.

Piper sensed Midnight's unsureness, "Its ok stay here, ill go get my stuff for tonight." she got out of the car and started her way up the flight of stairs that lead to the main entrance.
"Wait up im coming with you," Ty came up behind her and smiled at her encouragingly.

Jake crept forward in his seat and put his head round the side of Midnight's headrest.
"I swear I just saw a nun rape a small girl in the second floor window to the left of the car and - Oh God, she's staring at us!" Jake mocked and made Midnight laugh and warily check out the window he reffered to.
