Victor stared at the plates and bowls of different foods that sat on the table in front of him. It was so much, and yeah he hadn't eaten in a few days but he never ate much anyway. His eyes shifted to her, who was watching him then they shifted back with a sigh. He couldn't be rude so he took a few of the dumplings, popped each one into his mouth but then took a few more because they were so yummy. He left a couple for her, he didn't want to be greedy about the food. Even if there was a lot.

He pulled the mac and cheese bowl close to him, the began to stuff spoons fulls into his mouth. He felt like a pig, he hated eating in front of people. But he wasn't gonna give up a chance to eat. "This is great, thank you"

Lilith giggled before she scooped food onto her plates, just a little of this and a little of that though she avoided the beans like always, and grabbed an extra slice of corn bread. "Amma's the best," she told him as she waved her fork around for a moment. She was glad that Victor seemed happy, even if it was just because he was getting food into him. Poking her fork into her own chicken and dumpins, she twirled the fork around in it, moving it in a little circle. "I'm sorry for doing all this," she said quietly, a sigh threading her words as she spoke. "I just couldn't leave you out there like that and my parents would out right kick you out if you just some regular ol' person." She kept her eyes on her food, her shoulders down. The purple haired girl didn't even have to look up to know that Amma was making her way to the other side of the kitchen to clean dishes and keep out of the conversation.

Victor stopped, realizing the way he was eating was very rude. " Sorry i'm being rude.. " He let his words passed his lips, then pulled a plate in front of him. He did what she did, only putting a little on his plate at a time. He didn't like beans but he loved fish. Even though it was his favorite, he cook the least of it. Biting his lip a little, he sipped the tea slowly. He took a few bites, shifting in his seat.

Her words traveled into his ear and he listened, unsure of what to say at that moment. "I'm not upset with you, i'm not upset for being here or anything. " His words were soft, his eyes shifting to her but all he saw was her purple hair. His ears twitched listening to her sad voice, he lifted her hair. " I thank you for all of this, i really really do. This all to wonderful, i just don't know how to take it in. " He waited for her eyes to look his way.

Lilith rolled her eyes look meet his when he moved her hair. A small smile soon came to her face at his last few words though the long eye contact forced her to look away, a slight pink color coming to her face. She was very inexperienced with males seeing as she didn't get out, ever, so this was all new to her. She then laughed nervously as she took a drink of her own sweet tea. "Well, um, we have to share a room for now, I hope that's not too much of an issue," she said, her voice perking up a bit though her unease was quite evident.

"Of course that's only going to be until your room can be made up," she added quickly before looking at his plate. "Oh you can take more than that," she said trying to change the subject. "Amma cooks too much all the time and it either gets packed up or given to the dogs at the end of the day so eat as much as you want."

Victor was a big flirt, and he knew by now she felt uneasy with him being that close. His fingers graced her cheek as he let go of her long purple hair. He could tell she was uncomfortable with the sharing of her room, and it didn't make him feel any better. " Well you have a floor, all i need is a pillow and a blanket. And i'll will be perfectly fine. " His shoulders shrugged a little, and he glanced back at his place. He realized what she was trying to do and went along with it.

" i already feel like a pig, and i am only a cat. Well.. partly at least" But of course he didn't want to make Amma, or the young lady feel bad so he put some more on his plate and eat it up. He saved the fish and the dumplings for last. After he was finished, there was only a little bit in the bowls and on the plates. And all that was left was the beans. Victor groaned a little, he hadn't eaten like that in a very long time. His head rested on the side of the table and his hand rested on his stuffed stomach.

Lilith shook her head as she went back to eating her own plate of food. "Oh no, I couldn't let you do that," she said though she kept her eyes on her plate. "We'll figure something out and if nothing else my bed is big, too big actually." After a few scoops her plate was empty; when she had said that she wasn't all that hungry she meant it. Of course that didn't stop her from continuing to much on slices of corn bread. She then pulled the same hair that Victor had been playing with and tucked it behind her ear.

The purple haired girl finally looked at him and said, "But even being part cat is adorable." She laughed at it trying no to let her pink cheeks get in the way of her laughing. "And besides, we used to have some really fat cats around here. We still do infact though they've learned to hide better seeing as they like the kitchen and Amma doesn't let anyone try her food before she's done cooking."

" No no, i wouldn't want to intrude. You took me in, i wont take your bed from you. That is your private space. " His voice was stronger then before, but to quiet anymore. His eyes kept watch on her cute little face, he tried to keep his cheeks of redness but his tail waved happily other wise. "It's your room, i can sleep on the floor until my own is ready.. And thank you for taking me in. " His tail caressed her arm, but she pulled it back real quick and coughed with embarrassment.

"You think i'm adorable?" His ears perked up with the sound of her voice saying that. But his face turned sad when he heard about the fat cats. " I don't want to be a fat neko. " He wiggled in his seat and frowned cutely.

His fur is so soft, that one thought and touch seemed to stop any logical thought going through Lilith's mind before that point. A calm smile came to her face as she finished off the last bit of her corn bread, folding her hands neatly in her lap. She then turned to look at the purple eared male as she said jokingly, "You'd practically have to live in the kitchen to get as fat as them. Well here, let's head on up to my room and we'll figure out sleeping arrangements then ok?"

The purple haired girl then stood up and walked towards the door before stopping and waiting for him. A rustle then came from a nearby potato sack and she looked over. Giggleing a bit she pointed over to where a black and white cat was sauntering out, though he looked more like a watermelon with legs at that point. She then gave him a look that said, 'See what I mean?' rather than saying anything and alerting Amma of her invader.

Victor quickly stood up and got close to her waiting to follow her to the room. But then backed away quickly, being way to close and hoping to not make her uncomfortable. His eyes then shifted to the potato shack and he couldn't help but laugh. It was a sweet, childish laugh. One that was pure, no evil behind it. " I guess your right." He wrinkled his nose and his little purple tail swayed. He was so far from being tired, hopefully it didn't show to much. He was more of a night cat, and barely awake during the day.

" To the room then Cutie.. " He poked her nose and ran off down the hall, he caught her sent from one of the rooms and followed it.

Lilith jumped slightly at the poke, though the words were more challenging to her than anything. "Night Amma!" She yelled as she darted out the swinging doors and towards the front hall. "You know you can look and look all you want but I've been all over this house so ha!" She then darted up the stairs in the main foyer, the servants eyeing her oddly. In all honesty they should have been used to this behavior, the purple haired girl was usually active, but it wasn't common that she actually had someone to hang out with like this. She took the stairs two at a time and then darted down the hallway. She then stopped suddenly at the last door on the left and flung it open to reveal her room. Once doing that it was almost like all amusment was drained from her as she sighed looking at it.

His head popped out from under the bed, and his purple ears perked up cutely. " I'm good with scents, and it was the strongest here. " He crawled out and rolled over on his back, watching her movements. She looked surprised that he had found the room before she could even get to it. "Did i forget to tell you i'm pretty fast too." He smirked, it was the Cherise cat smile slapped right acrossed his face. And that pearly white smile was staring right at her.

Lilith laughed a bit before saying, "I suppose I shouldn't underestimate you awesome abilities then." She then shut her door and turned the light on before walking over to her bed and sitting on it. She let out an exhasperated sigh as she lay back on the matress, just staring up at the ceiling. "This room is way to big," she complained, but it was really just a verbalized thought more than anything. Her arms were extended to either side as her legs remained draped over one side of her bed. She was getting tired, then again it was also getting late. She had no idea what was planned for the next day but had a feeling that it had to do with her parents, or another of their plans or something. She couldn't even begin to guess, seeing as if she did she would more than likely be wrong anyway.

Victor got up on his knees and put his chin on the bed by her leg. He titled his head and watched her. " Yes yes it is big, but it is big to me because i've never had a large room. " He crawled up onto the bed, invading her space because that's what cats do. And he was use to doing things like that to people. He nuzzled at her side, he was in a playful mood but she seemed so dead at that moment.

He stopped feeling like he was in the way and crawled off the bed and laid out in front of the window under the moon light. His purrs became soft, barely heard and his eyes flickered open and closed. He wanted to play, but he couldn't so he was going to force himself to sleep.

"Mmm, no come back," Lilith said as she opened her eyes, rolling them to look at the neko male at the window. "It was nice, better than the dogs anyway." She chuckled at that statement. She knew her family's dogs would be let in soon and her bedroom was one of their first and last stops seeing as they liked to sleep in there, sometimes even with her. She then turned and rolled on her belly; she didn't even take up half the bed from her spot. "And like I said, my bed is huge, there's no reason for you to sleep over there." It was like a sleep over for her. The heiress had never been allowed guests over, she didn't even have friends. Her parents seemed to enjoy keeping her locked up and under their control but she didn't know any better.

Her purple eyes traced the male momentarily as she tried to understand what was going on. People had other people stay the night, right? She thought to herself, not even considering the fact that Victor was a neko. To Lilith, it was just another thing that made Victor who he was. It didn't change the fact that she may have found a friend or anything like that.

His eyes became steady and for a moment he stared straight at the moon, blinking quickly his eyes shifted to the bed where she now lay on her belly watching him. He didn't answer, he just kind of stared at her; not a funny kind of stare but a confused one. Am i really just a pet, yeah i'm better then the dogs but she just put me at the level of those dogs. Victor got everything confused, nothing fit to him. He felt like a pet, just anther pet that would stroll the halls of this giant building.

"But i don't want to invade your space..." He crawled his way over to the bed again, sitting his chin on the corner looking over at her. Those purple eyes got to him, he couldn't help but give in the the pretty little Lilith. Shrugging a little to himself he work is way to the end of the bed, plopping down on his stomach.

Lilith smiled as she crawled closer to Victor before practically wrapping herself around his side. "I'm glad you're here," she whispered as she rested her head on his shoulder blade. "My parents don't let me out at all so it's nice to finally make a friend." She then let out a sigh of contentment as she just let the sounds of the night wash through the room. She did while she could seeing as she heard a familiar yip followed by what could almost sound like a stampede going through the house. A little puppy launched itself onto the bed and instantly began licking the purple haired girl and the neko.

Lilith tried to block the licks but ended up just laughing hysterically. "I hope you don't mind dogs," she laughed knowing that the footsteps coming weren't from the servants going after this little guy. Rather than that, four more dogs threw themselves onto the bed and the beings already on it. "They're friendly I assure you," she said between breaths from her giggle fit as all the dogs began licking them feverishly.

Victor Jumped from the bed, twitching a little rubbing his face of dog drool. He had no doubt that this little dogs were the cutest but he hated being close to them; well really he was pretty scared of them. His body shivered and he kept backing away, until his back was against the closed door. " I-.. I'm sorry i just... " He began to push the door open with his back as he whispered to her " i need some air.... alone" His shook his hand at her, with a slight frown across his face.

His body jolted down the stairs, and out the front door. It was snowing again, he took a deep breath and sat on the steps. Breath, Breath, Breath. He told himself over and over again. He leaned against the front door and closed his eyes slowly, soon he dozed off there. The night air always put him to sleep.

Lilith sat up as soon as Victor was gone and stared at her open door. She sighed slightly and pointed to the corner of her bedroom and all the dogs instantly got off her bed, save for the tiniest pup that didn't know what it meant yet. Instead the little guy curled up against her while she absent mindedly pet him. "I guess he is more like a cat than I thought," she said to herself as she pulled her knees to her chest and rested her chin on them. "It's hard to remember he's not human at times." She then sighed as she looked at the sleeping pup before her eyes went to the door once again.

The purple haired girl just sat on her bed for a while longer. Every once in a while she would get distracted by the dogs twitching or making some random noise, but other than that she kept her eyes on the hallway. She could hear doors closing and the servants going to bed for the night. Finally she turned to look out her window and noticed the snow and recalled hearing the front door open. At that thought Lilith got up slowly and left her room careful not to distrub anyone sleeping. She made her way down the stairs and towards the door. Unlocking it, she opened it only to have a male fall on her causing her to fall back and onto the ground. It was Victor. Her heart dropped seeing that he had been out in the cold the whole time, but she didn't know what to say or do, she just sort of sat there.

Victor had been out cold for awhile now, and he still sat in those clothes he had before. Because little miss Lilith forgot to give him a change of warmer ones. His skin was ice cold to the touch, and his skin was once again pale. He slept in the cold because he was so use to it, it was now comforting. His head hit the floor and he jumped, hissing a little. "ehh... that hurt " He mumbled, leaning against the door, holding his head. He looked over at the young girl, and she was just staring in the door way. He upset her, he could tell. He shook his head and sighed, whispering a little sorry into her ear.

To bent over and picked her up into his arms, for a moment he stared at her pretty little face. She was stunning, and now she was resting in his arms. A slight smile came across his face but he turned his it toward the stairs so she wouldn't see. He kicked the door closed carrying her up to her room. He hissed at the dogs and they all ran from the room, laying out in the hall. He bit his lip and handled the little one, sitting next to it on the bed. He leaned against the pillows, closing his eyes tight. She still laid there in his arms, and his grasp was tight around her. His long purple tail wrapped around her ankle and he began to doze again. She was comforting too. Soon that little neko was fast asleep, holding miss lilith like she was his doll.

Lilith was getting ready to yell when Victor had picked her up. She wasn't a fan of being carried, mainly because whenever her older siblings would pick her up they would throw her into the pond or something of a similar nature. Her breath caught in her throat as she noticed she was still being held and that calmed her down a bit though her face became a lovely shade of pink from what she was about to do just moments before. Soon he was walking, taking them back upstairs and to her bedroom.

He hissed once inside and she had never seen her dogs move so quick to leave her room, well other than when Amma was giving them scraps. He then hestiantly set the puppy on the ground before plopping them onto the bed. He really was afraid of dogs, though he didn't seem to let onto it earlier. She watched him for a moment, almost as if she was realizing all over again that he wasn't quite human. He looked it though, save for his tail and ears, he looked human. She wondered if he was actually an animal, just more human in appearance. His tail then wrapped around her ankle and calmed her thoughts.

It didn't really matter did it? Lilith was just helping him out, right? She worried her lip slightly before closing her eyes. His body was cold, really cold. Reaching to one side she grabbed the edge of her blanket and pulled it over them. He was in no way showing he was going to let her go anytime soon. Rather than complain about it she simply let herself fall asleep as her body slowly warmed back up as his did.

It was a very long time, but Victor kept still like all cats did when they slept. That night he dreamed, and he dreamed only of one thing. That little purple haired girl that lay in his arms like his little doll. It was more then any old dream, it was more then any old relationship too. That dream was more about them being closer then that, a couple maybe. But he couldn't really tell, the dream was foggy.

Morning came soon, but they didn't wake early. It was almost noon when Victors eyes began to flicker open. His month stretched open wide, and a yawn escaped cutely. For a moment his eyes were partly closed, staring at the empty wall in front of them. His eyes shifted down, his face flushed red from how peaceful she looked. So cute, so beautiful, so like a little angel. A soft smile crossed his face, his hand reached over running along the soft purple hair that she had. A faint purr began to echo from his chest. He was calm, comfortable, at peace with the person that he held.

Lilith had woken up and fallen asleep many times since the sun had risen. That was mainly because the dogs weren't very quiet when they went downstairs to be fed, but of course they never were. Once they were let out the purple haired girl was finally able to fall back to sleep. She wasn't sure why she was so tired, but the feeling of warmth beside her calmed her. She didn't even bother looking to see who or what it was mainly because she had been so used to sleeping with the dogs. To her she was just sleeping with them, not the neko that was really there.

After falling back to sleep time seemed to fly by. Slowly, the fact that someone was holding her finally dawned on Lilith and her eyes snapped back open. Turning her head slightly her purple eyes fell on the neko that was watching her. She jumped slightly before her cheeks went a pink hue from embarrassment. "Oh, uh, good morning," she said sheepishly trying to avoid what had just happened.

Victor didn't blush himself though, he was to much of being in a calm state to really freak about what had happened. His eyes shifted from the spot where she laid up to her pretty little gray eyes. " Sorry, didn't want you to move... You were sleeping. " He mumbled in a cute little voice, his eyes shifting to the floor then back to her. His purring had stopped and a little sigh passed his lips. " You were kind of clinging also.. " He shrugged a little, he pushed himself up off the bed and took off his dirty old black button down. " Can i use your shower? " He asked, rubbing at his strong stomach that now in the open away from his shirt. His tail was swaying around behind him, his eyes shifting around the room. He was kind of in a playful mood, he wanted to run around a bit but he would keep himself calm. She was the calm type, so he'd control himself around her.

Lilith's face lit up even more when Victor said she had been clinging. She hadn't known! She hadn't done it on purpose. It was when he asked about a shower that her mind snapped back too. "Oh yeah, right," she said as she hopped off the bed and walked towards the door. "Well come on, follow me," she said as she looked back at him with a smile. There were numerous bathrooms on the floor, oddly enough, none of them were connected to her bedroom. That never bothered her though, it made her get up and start her day at that point. "I can get you some clothes too so no need to worry about that. I meant to get you some last night, I guess I was too tired though I'm sorry."

Victor followed closely behind her, his tail waving back and forth happily. "No no don't even worry, i understand. I ended up getting tired too but i could use some now. " He smiled at her, wondering which door she would open because she was passing plenty of them. Then his nose twitched a little, smelling something sweet cooking down stairs. " I see Amma is up and running already. " He smiled still.
