((Oh no, were we moving too fast? D:))
He could tell the predator (or Loki, as he now knew) was trying to figure him out. As was Surya. But they shouldn't be able to find out much about him, he had hidden his signature well. He had made a lot of enemies over time and despite the long gap of years since he'd moved into the castle, he wasn't taking any chances should any possible sparks be ignited anew. Besides, it might bring awkward questions, even if they weren't acquaintances of his enemies.
"I'm Eramthgin Lanrete." He made to get off the desk, but as he swung himself off, the desk splintered with a loud crunch. Luckily he had already landed on his feet. Still, he inwardly winced when the flower pot rolled off with a crash onto the floor. Dammit...

A cloaked shadow was walking towards the inn, as any passerby, she was stopped by the guards at door. After a brief exchange of of glances, the stranger was allowed to pass. It was a unique view to see, a dark cloak was covering this slender figure, a fabric looking soft as velvet to the eye, yet there was a hint of a subtle unnatural effect over it. Unless you really turned to look carefully at this stranger, it was hard for your eye to catch sight of them. A wide hat was towering the figure, both cloak and hat seemed to survived through a lot, been on roads for a long time.
Figure walked towards the Kobold after casting a glance around her surroundings, she spoke to creature in a soft whisper quality voice, rich and drawing on it's own. Stranger nodded slightly, in a fluid movement she made payment for the services she asked for. As Kobolt left her side, she briefly looked around. Wearing on a hat was going to draw more attention indoors, with a unique grace, she took off the giant hat. Still cloak was hanging over her head, but now delicate features of a sun elf lady was generously revealed. She was wearing a crecent shaped jewelry, a red tattoo over her neck had same crecent design along with a delicate oriental pattern; no wonder, this lady was a priestess of life goddess. Her noble features were framed with golden hair falling over her shoulders, pale long eyelashes were shadowed with a red make up. Beneath them two beautiful hazel orbs were sitting, a lovely shade of green was melting into honey color. Her lips were colored with same shade of red, making her looks even bolder.
She approached to the bar, asking for food in same whisper-like voice, strangely it was audible for the ones she spoke to. It had this feeling as if this enchantress was casting charms over you as she spoke. Though, during all this, her tranquil calm expression remained same. Staying out of trouble, probably best option for a fair elven lady such as her who is travelling alone.
[Hi there fellow rpers 8D me ish here to make trouble... or allow you to make trouble, lol. anyway, I might not be able to post 5-6 times a day, if lucky I'll post daily and might even post 2 times a day, mind you. wanted to warn XDDD plus my final week is ahead, I'll try my best to keep up but I might fail to follow your pace =__=;; anyway... *bows* please take good care of me =w=]

Loki's nose twitched and he flinched lightly. Those eyes widened a bit and a hand went up to cover part of his face. He backed into the wall until he could back up no further. "Gods...There's an elf in here.." Loki looked rather horrified at that thought. He could almost hear that heart beating, calling to him with it's gentle power. The kind of power that only an elf can possess. He shivered violently, those ears were moving slightly, as if trying to track the Elf's movements.
Those eyes danced wildly, this way and that. Looking for an escape. Self control, he'd trained hard and long for that self control and he wasn't about to let it slip now. "Gods.." A door. A room. He would hide himself in there. It wasn't his room, the colors on the doorknob didn't match his key. It was the closest though and he was sure once he explained to the occupant of that room..everything would be alright. Or..maybe the occupant wouldn't be in there and he wouldn't need to explain anything.
His room key was pocketed in an instant as he turned towards that door and ran for it. Another key. Thin, long and decorated with skulls carved into it. The entire key stank of magic. A subtle magic and it would take a very sensitive nose to be able to scent that magic. The key touched the lock and the door opened. Loki was in it, that door closed and locked within moments of it being opened.
He leaned his back against that door and breathed deeply. "Great Gods...give me strength."

Surya half smiled to herself as he spoke of his name, about to say she called him Eram when she noted Loki’s discomfort. She wondered about his mention only to shiver uncomfortably. She remembered how magic bloodline smelled… how it got to her instincts….especially so because of the powerful nature of her Senka’ne’s magic….making magic blood smell even more appetizing…
Shaking it off she turned, only to realize which room he’d chosen… the nearest room… hers…. She looked annoyed a moment, her ears flickering downward. She was not one to accept invasion of her privacy very well…especially in her room where she spent full moons scratching at the walls, floors, and bed sheets… only her own magic keeping her in the room…
Instantly she hissed, unlocking the room with her own key and throwing it open, pushing him out of the way if he hadn‘t moved away from the door. She closed it and locked it behind her but her cat like eyes narrowed on his as she stalked into the room more like a predator then her usual more gentle nature. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” She asked bluntly.

Loki didn't hear that door when it was unlocked and rather unexpectedly found himself sprawled out on the floor when Surya had shoved that door open hard. Once he was on the floor though he curled up in a small ball, both hands clamped over his mouth and nose, as if trying to block out that scent. At her question, he barely raised those glowing crimson eyes.
"Trying to save what's left of my tattered soul." It was a muffled reply, muffled by the hands over his face. He shivered, one hand falling away from his face to grip at the floor, sharp but not extremly long, fingernails dug into the floor. "Don't let me out of this room...Not yet....Please...?" There was a look of fear and pleading in those crimson eyes.
"I do not wish to be a murderer or a beast."

Surya stared at Loki a moment, her hands on her hips. She was torn between kicking him out, throwing things at him, and being concerned. As he dug his fingernails into the floor she watched him a moment, her memory flowing to making marks on the floor… marks Loki could likely see from his prone position.
As she debated inwardly the rat in her pack popped out it’s tiny head, speaking to her telepathically once more. She glanced at him, seeming to argue with him only to sigh and give in. She looked to Loki, watching him a moment before finally saying in a surrendered type fashion “Just…. Don’t do anything stupid…” She cautioned darkly….
She then turned, double checking the lock before turning and sitting her pack down by her bed. It was clear she tended to keep it with her…. Though she kept most of her clothing in the room. She perched on the end of her bed, the rat hopping over to the bed post to watch Loki with its curious mistress.

Loki writhed and wriggled a bit on the floor for a moment before he became still. His eyes were closed tightly. In a little bit, in a little while he would be alright. He would be able to go out and even socialize with that Elf, if he so wished to, without wanting to devour the creature's heart. Loki was still, but those fingers were still embedded in the floor. He was panting a bit.
"I'm not...like this....usually." He had just met these people..he was terrified of what they might think of him. The way he had come in, weak and helpless, asking for bloody meat and liquid magic. Another shiver ran down his spine. Would these people turn him back out of this place. Toss him on the streets, chase him away for being a monster?

Surya watched him a moment, saying simply “I imagine not…” She was a distrusting creature so was not so sure she believed him necessarily but… She pretended to simply because it could be true. She rarely showed just how little she trusted and so even flashed him a smile. He was cute… in an androgynous sort of way that could appeal to both men and women.
But what was he? He smelled rather like a werewolf but different… less human and more magic…She watched him a moment then slowly crouched a few feet from him, her tail curling in the air behind her. The rat didn’t move, simply watching the two. She then looked at Loki, watching him curiously. “Just what are you anyway? I’m curious…” She said quietly.

Loki shuddered when she asked him what he was. A question he didn't want to answer, for fear of how some people reacted. Slowly those eyes opened and slowly he looked up at her. He seemed to be in a bit more control now, if only just a little. A little more control was better than the almost no control he had moments ago. Those ears drooped a bit and his tail was curled around his waist.
"A demon..I am a demon...." with haste he added. "But that does not make me a murderer or a monster."

Surya watched him, saying nothing a moment and simply tilting her head to the side. “I see” Was her only reaction as she turned to glance at the door in thought. “I was just curious… don’t be so defensive or you’ll make yourself seem suspicious…” She cautioned absently, reaching out to touch his nose before slowly standing up. She then walked to the window, glancing out at the sky to see what time it was. She had time… she didn’t’ need to kick him out yet…

((Valendra your character looks amazing!))
As Eramthgin turned around after surveying the wreck he had made out of the desk, he was surprised to see a door slamming, the predator gone, and then Surya promptly entering the door after him, door closing again.
...What was that all about?
He blinked. Well, it wasn't his business to prod and poke into other people's business. He shrugged and decided he might as well continue to make his way around the castle, hoping he wouldn't have to come across the desk again. And hoping that whoever the owner was, he/she wouldn't notice the crunched piece of furniture...he really needed to watch what he sat on.
After a while of walking, of which he was starting to grow weary of, he came across a large room he previously hadn't seen before. It looked like some sort of food stand. Tidier than a tavern, it was cleaner and more organized. It was probably from the lack of guests staying at the inn, but the bar looked rather empty, except for the bartender and a woman with stunning golden hair, seated with her back to him. He could see from the way her ears poked out that she was an elf. He hoped it wasn't one of the clans that he had had past...disagreements with.
For a moment he stood in the doorway, staring, but then decided that even if the elf was from one of the 'bad' clans, he was just going to have to take the chances. The alcohol was calling.
Walking over, he tested a chair gingerly. Nope, it wouldn't do. He sighed and resigned to having to stand. "Mead." He said to the bartender, dropping a few coins onto the counter.
((I dont know much about bars, please correct me if I made any mistakes in describing it ))

[Wah!<3 Thank you Fading ^^]
Young lady stared after the running away customer, frowning with confusion. She wasn't sure if this was about her or not, though it would benefit her to be cautious. From what she could see and sense, almost none of the current customers were humanoids, an unnatural essence unique to mythical beings and magic was in the air. She turned to nod with a polite smile as her food was delivered. It looked like a simple dish, with some fresh and cooked vegetables, there was a nice touch of fresh flowers served by her plate. She was almost glad to see they were also served, these colorful beauties were actually edible, and was elven lady's favourite. And as drink, she was having water only.
She only turned to glance at young man standing beside the bar, ordering a drink for himself. Not recognising his looks, though she had to note he was quite charming, she returned her attention to her meal. Just minding your own business was probably best for yourself in alien lands, especially in company of quite different and colorful selection of professions and races.

][Ah...Loki wasn't even in that area of the Inn. He was in the hallway where the rooms are. He just smelled her when she came in....just to let you know. Loki hasn't even made it to the bar area yet. Granted he was trying to get into the kitchens to eat their entire stock of raw meat earlier..he didn't make it that far.][
"...Wasn't being defensive..." He mumbled softly and rolled over so that he could no longer look at her and she could no longer see his eyes or face. Loki inhaled deeply, very deeply. "...most people judge by a creature's race...but we're not all bad..not all evil." That tail was still curled around his waist, it twitched slightly. His ears lay limp and down, as if he weren't trying to listen to anything at all. How he missed his home.
Everyone there knew him, trusted him and when he was like this..though very rare for it to happen..they understood. A small shiver ran down his spine. "Oh Gods...You aren't going to chain me up in the dungeons are you?" That head had raised and turned to stare at her, wide eyed and full of fear for a few moments. True he had regained some of his stamina, his energy, his very life force..but he was still too weak to actually fight against something like that.

He momentarily tensed when he felt the elf's eyes upon him, but relaxed when she didn't appear to recognize him. That was a relief. He happily grabbed the mug when it was delivered and took a large swig, sighing in content as the golden contents washed down his throat. If there was anything good about all these smaller creatures, it was their creativity and ability to make such good brews.
While he drank, he stole a few glances at the woman nearby. Long, soft hair, pointy ears, an ornament of sorts on her forehead (if he remembered correctly, it should be some sort of status symblolization), red marks on her face, and fluttering eyelashes. By elven standards, she was a beautiful one. His eyes floated over to her dish, and he made a small face. Plants. Bleagh. He was a carnivorous creature by nature and meat would always be his only dish. Plants, he could eat, but they always leave a bad taste in his mouth.

Surya shrugged, not saying a word as he denied being defensive. She wasn’t too concerned with it…simply not sure she trusted when someone instantly denied something left unspoken. Still… He seemed nice enough… Then again she did have her mind on other things. It would not be quite a full moon tonight but it would be close enough that she’d feel it’s torment…it’s demands.
Hearing him speak she flickered her ears downward, looking annoyed as she looked back at him. She was annoyed at him really… she just had her own reasons for hating even the mention of someone being chained up or put in a cage. “No… Why would I do something like that?…though…” She trailed off and paused a moment, gazing up at the darkening sky out her window. “It would not be wise for you to still be here when night falls…” She said it simply, coldly.. Only the tightening of her fist showing her discomfort at telling him this….

"Dunno...I've heard that people lock demons away...just for being a demon." He frowned and very slowly uncurled himself and sat up. "..I think...I'll be alright...Long enough to make it to my room, at least." He closed his eyes for a moment, as if concentrating hard and then he opened them. Smiling at her softly. "Thank you for putting up with me." His smile turned a bit sheepish.
"My first time out on lands that aren't owned by my family and I make a horrible impression on the people." A slight shake of his head and he stood slowly. "When we have rested and we meet again, hopefully I can make a better impression on you." Loki bowed softly. "Again..I am in your debt." That tail had uncurled from his waist and was wagging slowly behind him. His ears were up, though he still didn't look completely recovered, it was obvious he was trying to hide that.
This was her room and she wanted him out. He felt he was well enough to make it to his own room, he felt that he wouldn't lose control and run growling down the halls until he found that elf and ripped out her heart. He was sure he could lock himself in his room before that would happen. A slight wave, and Loki was moving out the door.
It didn't take long. His room wasn't far. Just two doors down or so and he was locked inside, curled up on the bed, the blankets over his entire body. Perhaps he would sleep a bit.

[ah sorry, my bad Kry ^^;]
She paused a moment, her ears moving slightly as she heard someone hurrying to another room. Her eyelids closed halfly, looking thoughtful as she listened intently. Some said wood and desert elves were the kind that listened whispers of the earth they walk on, wind that move around them and shadows constantly following them everywhere. While it was a little exaggration, in a sense though those rumors were true. She could sense evil... Elven lady closed her eyes a moment, sighing very lightly; one had to listen intensely, very carefully to hear.
If it was a demon indeed that she could sense, as a priestess she could tell almost precisely the source of evil around her, she assumed perhaps that was the most dangerous kind she'd encounter above earth. Then again, she couldn't sense any pure souls, or neutral kind. Everyone in here had a dark aura attached to them, less or more, that differed for each individual. Though, it turned out as she might have to protect herself on her own. If that was the case, she knew it wasn't going to be a problem dealing with one evil, although she wondered if she can deal with more than one evil. Scent of blood was everywhere, whisper of death was curling around dark corners of the inn, getting low as a silent cry down to the path to the dungeans.
She doubted anyone knew who she was, almost sure no one actually recognised her as a priestess. For such predetor kind, she had a few tricks to dodge, even disable most of them. Though, she liked to keep in touch with intelligent ones, in a sense keeping danger close to her, where she can keep an eye on them. Finishing her meal, enjoying the melancholic taste of the flowers left in her mouth, she pushed her plate away with a hushed 'thank you'. Then, gathering her thoughts, she turned to look at young lad drinking at the bar.
"You smell of alcohol... and flesh..." she said in a calm voice, it had a hint of elven accent, and was soft as a whisper, audible as if she was speaking to your ear... She didn't have an accusing expression, she looked rather calm, as if she was asking how was his maed tasting. She stared at him for a while before continuing, with a polite smile. "I'm sorry, that must have sounded offending, but I couldn't help to notice how calm and mysterious you are.... No... perhaps, I should use another word to describe it, like... old?"

Surya sighed, shrugging gently as he spoke. “It’s alright… forget it…” She said gently as he spoke of being in her debt, waiting for him to leave. She would watch from the door to make sure he got safely to his room but would then close the door hard. Slowly she walked towards the window, seeming tired somehow. She closed the shades, making it so nothing could peak through before walking to the center of the room.
She slowly lay on the floor, curling into a ball and closing her eyes. Shivering she waited, feeling the darkness fall and almost full moon rise. She could feel each inch like a finger tip running up her spin… It caused her to close her eyes, rocking gently as she focused on restraining the impulses she knew would come…the tightening and itching of her skin…

He blinked a few times when the elf spoke to him, then quickly caught himself. "Ah, yes, I suppose I am. I've been here quite a long time." He smiled slightly and downed the last of his mead in one swig. "And yes, alcohol and meat. Quite obvious, actually...I've just had my meal not an hour ago, after all. I would be surprised if an elf couldn't smell it."
Now that she turned around, he could see red markings circling her neck as well. Again that strange symbol. "What's-"
He suddenly froze, distracted, and whipped his head around back, towards the direction of the guest rooms. There was a very dark aura seeping out from one of the rooms. "...the hell?" Where had it come from? It was as though someone who'd been repressing the aura had lost control and now the darkness was going mayhem.

Her body did not quite transform though her skin turned black as midnight, blue stripes crossing over the skin. She then lay there, the inner beast clawing at her and demanding she answer the call of the magical meat around her… the only sign that it hurt to contain it was a whimper and her now larger claws cutting into the wood. This would be the limit of her transformation this night as the moon had not quite reached it’s fullest point… but the bloodlust would enter her fully.
Unlike her mother who had passed this cursed blood down to her, her father’s blood twisting it into something else, she had learn to retain some sanity…some control… but she felt the hunger just as deep. Barely restraining it she would lie there all night unless disturbed… her eyes staring at the wall mindlessly as she resisted the inner insanity the curse caused…

He could feel the darkness, as though it was calling to him. It felt like a drug, luring him, and Eramthgin felt himself frozen in place, his skin tingling and some of his physical disguise slipping off. Thankfully they weren't the more obvious ones, such as his size and certain appendages, but the lengthing of his fangs was going to be very prominent if he spoke, and he could feel his eyes going back to their original look; blood red with golden irises.
He growled. No, this would not do at all. He could resist the call, but it was very tempting....oh, so very tempting. He hadn't reversed back to his old self in many ages, and he wasn't about to do it now. Collapsing the bar would only be the least of his troubles. Abruptly, he shook his head violently and launched himself out the bar, the thoughts of the elf all but forgotten, and tore down the corridors, to get away, as far away as possible, from the calls of the darkness. Yes, the dungeons felt safe, and he was going back. Away.
