Kel'irina was startled with sudden turn out of the events. She frowned, looking after the strange man running away from bar. She could sense the dark aura spreading around like a dark smoke, only when she was left alone. Once again, fate reminded her how dangerous her path was, and what kind of dangerous creatures were lingerng around such a dungeon. If above it was hectic like that, then trying to imagine below would be manacing. She slowly curled her fingers into a fist, with a grim expression she thought about her task, her quest that lead her into this infamous dungeons. She glanced around briefly, then getting up from her seat she walked away from any curious eyes, meanwhile speaking elven tongue in a very low voice. Filling empty dark silence with voices of the old teachings, feeding hungry ears of walls.

Reaching an empty hall, she listened for a moment to satisfy her search for a silent, unoccupied place in this old castle. Then she continued her silent chanting, touching to walls very lightly with her fingertips sometimes, she walked to her room. She took out her key, a copper colored one, before unlocking the door she touched on the door too along with her chanting low velvet voice. Key turned easily and she slipped into room quickly, as if she slided in from a tiny creak. She locked the door, satisfied that now she fulfilled first step of her usual wards against unwanted guests. Castle was speaking to her...

Now... Let's put up a strong ward and spell set so her room will be well protected against anything evil or unwanted. Which should take a few moments.

Footsteps in the hall. Light and graceful. The steps of an elf. A low grunt as he pulled the blankets around him tighter. The morning...the morning would see him refreshed and better. He squirmed a bit as those ears picked out the faintest of noises, that nose twitched as the faintest of scents creeped into his room from the cracks and the tiny opening beneath the door, scents lazily wafted in through the keyhole.

The elven maiden was nearby. Going to her room, he guessed. His second guess was that it was close by and on this hallway, as it seemed there were quite a few rooms on this hallway. He wriggled and growled. Forcing away tempting thoughts of how delicious an elven heart would be and forcing away the argument that it had been so very long since he last needed, last tasted one.

Another growl and Loki forced his thoughts to a more depressing matter. He was lost. His home and family lost as well, not dead, just lost. For a little less than 500 years Loki had not left the Inn owned by his family. He had not ventured into the world, or the many realms of the world. For 500 years he had never needed to...and now..here he was. Lost. Alone. Without a friend and tossed violently back into the outside world.

A world that he knows almost nothing about.

((@Val: I'm not sure how many dragons Staria had planned to be in the dungeons, though my settings were that there are four dragons probably patrolling the castle from the outside (according to Staria), and only one dragon in the dungeons...the rest are mostly wyverns and other random monsters :O))

He reached his room, panting slightly. The pull was no longer as strong, and he could feel his disguise slipping back in place. Sighing lightly in relief, he pulled out his key and opened the metallic door in front of him, completely black and void of any decorations, and walked in, closing the door with a clang.

The room, about twenty meters in diameter, had been roughly hewn into shape from the rock supporting the castle above, so the walls were a dark dullish charcoal color, and were not decorated either. There were torchholders on the wall, but no torches. The ceiling was high, almost four stories tall, and the room was completely empty of furniture. Instead, a mountainpile of glittering gems, gold, and accessories filled the majority of the space.

Dropping his bag of wine lightly onto the ground with a clink, he walked over to the pile and collapsed onto a heap of sparkling goods with a tinkle. For a moment he just laid there, unmoving, relaxing on his bed. Today had certainly been an eventful day, he thought, and it had all stemmed from the simple act of looking for food. He wondered if he should venture up again later, but worried about that pull...it had been strong and he wasn't sure if he would have time to get away again like he did earlier.

He sighed again and flipped over onto his back, getting into a comfortable position before drifting off to sleep.

((actually you kinda mis understood >>> the knight keeps enough supplies for four dragons but only has one <.< ... There can be as many in the underground as you guys want though xD . Long as it's not as big/powerful as the knights but the knights is a super, undefeatable npc dragon that's big as four typical dragons for use in plot purposes later on depending on how the Inn develops soo yeah . Pretty much whether this is char driven, plot driven, or both depends on you guys <,< i delibriately left room for both xD))

Loki was awake. He had slept, though he didn't remember falling asleep and he was uncertain for how long he had slept. Those things did not matter, what mattered was the fact that he was awake now and he felt refreshed. A little stronger, more in control and hungry. Not for raw meat, blood, or elven hearts..well..that craving for an elf heart had become tiny and easily ignored. Those ears twitched as he slipped out of the bed.

Loki was quiet and light on his feet, slipping out of his room with ease. He glanced down the hallway in both directions, it seemed empty for the moment. Loki wondered if Surya was up, maybe she'd like to get something to eat with him. She had helped him and he owed her for that. His tail wagged slightly and before he realized it, his feet were carrying him to her door. He knocked gently, so if she was asleep or resting he might not disturb her.

Surya shivered as she heard the knock, the scent of him hitting her full force. Despite herself her muscles tensed and she pulled into a crouch as she growled deeply. She was so hungry…so hungry. Still she suppressed the urge to attack the door but was unable to get herself to speak. She simply stared at the door while her rat looked at her fearfully.

The rat slid through a mouse hole to go to loki and grip one of his shoe laces in its teeth. It tugged at it, trying to get him to move away from the door. It knew the pain it sent through it’s mistress to have such a scent so close and was trying desperately to help relieve it…

No answer. A growl, but no real answer Loki frowned softly and shrugged, she was growling at something in the room or she just didn't want to be bothered by him. He stood there, silently for a few more moments, just as he was about to turn away from the door he felt..or rather..sensed something near him. Nothing threatening, that head tilted to the side a bit and he looked down at the rat.

"What's going on, then?" A light whisper was offered to the rat and the closed door before Loki slipped a hand in his pocket, fingering his own room key for a moment before he reached into his other pocket and pulled out that other key. The one that smelled of magic and was decorated with skulls. He touched the keyhole with the end of the key and lock clicked open. Loki slipped that key back into his pocket before placing his hand on the door knob.

"You alright in here? I heard a funny noise." He pushed the door open, and took a small, cautious step over the threshold. Careful to not step on the rat.

The rat squeaked, starting to dart in to try and do something when Loki stepped in. With a whimper it suddenly darted behind a table leg, shivering. It knew the half crazed state it’s mistress was in… and it didn’t’ dare be out in the open when she was. She’d gone so long without killing… she wouldn’t be happy if she killed again…

Surya shivered, looking up towards Loki. She half whimpered, turning slightly as her body attempted to resist …. And failed. The currently rather furry woman pounced onto him, tackling to him to the ground. She would growl again, her eyes having no white now… only glowing blue surrounded by black. She would half bite towards his shoulder but stop herself, lifting her head and letting out a strangled pained roar.

Loki was not prepared for what happened next. Surya had pounced on him, well a very furry Surya had pounced on him. A were-creature then? It was a quick thought and it was his first thought as he found himself on the floor with her atop him. He wriggled a bit, and when she half bit towards him he cringed, that body tensed in anticipation of the pain.

It didn't come, he blinked. Wincing slightly at the sound of her roar. "Ah..Oh...sorry..I didn't...realize it was nearly your time of the month." He shivered slightly, maybe he shouldn't have phrased it like that..too late now. He wriggled and squirmed a bit, wanting to get out from under her, but without harming her. "Tomorrow will be worse I imagine.." The wolf demon frowned slightly. "I wonder...do you eat blood or meat, or is it both?"

Surya shivered, trying desperately not to bite him. He was right about tomorrow… tomorrow she wouldn’t even be able to speak…as is it was difficult. She felt him squirm, her claws instinctually sinking into the skin of his shoulders a little. The were cat shivered, her ears twitching as he spoke. She only said a word at the last, a pained “Both generally….. I think…” She said quietly, surprised he wasn’t trying to kill her…. Even though she so badly wanted to kill him right now…or rather part of her did. She turned her head away from him again, trying to force herself to move . She was in control….but only for now.

"So, you wanna bite me, then?" Loki couldn't keep the suggestion out of his tone or the playful mischief out of his eyes. Even trapped beneath her like this he wasn't afraid, then again, there wasn't much that frightened this demon. Her claws pierced his flesh a bit and so Loki no longer wriggled beneath her. He lay still and with a little more seriousness in his tone he asked. "If I give you some of my blood, will it ease your pain or make your hunger worse?"

Surya shook her head with horror as he suggested the first, though the mischief in his gaze had her tail lazily swaying as the kitty in her for a moment wanted to play with him rather then eat him. She tried to force her claws out of his flesh, biting her lip as she couldn’t help but lean close, taking in the scent of him near his neck as instinct and will power fought. “I..I don’t know…” She admitted, her body shuddering from the scent of his blood and flesh inches beneath her muzzle…

Loki tilted his head to the side when she leaned close, giving her more access to his neck. "It's alright..if you want to try I'll let you have some of my blood. If it makes your hunger worse, then I suppose I won't be leaving this room alive." He would have shrugged but he tried to keep his movements to a minimum, especially with her claws in him. He wasn't afraid and he didn't seem worried in the slightest that she could kill him.

“th…that’s foolish…” She whimpered as he tilted his head and offered even more of the vulnerable body part… it was the part her instincts said to go for first…the most important…..It was only sheer will that kept her from taking out a large chunk of flesh. She shivered, telling herself to get up before she did something stupid… she didn’t need more innocent lives on her conscious… “Please….” she whimpered, pleading with the beast within her but ultimately failing as her large, cat like fangs closed on his throat. The werewolfs curse had been twisted in her by her fathers blood and his own magic….so she did take the blood in like a vampire and enjoy it thoroughly… After a few minutes she leaped away, whimpering and curling into the floor with her hands over her head and her ears tilting downward. She was shuddering and breathing hard, somewhat relieved but still craving the meat that she’d resisted….

Those eyes closed tightly when she bit into him, a shiver ran down his spine and for a moment all he could think of was Lamia and Lues. How many times had he shared his blood with them? More than he could count and the twins, though now long dead. Loki wriggled a little, he hadn't expected such thoughts to creep their way into his mind, at least, he hadn't expected thoughts of the twins. Such a grief as he had never felt before had been felt on that day long ago. It took effort, but Loki forced away such sad memories. The rest of his family was alive and he would find them.

She was done, she had gotten off of him. Those eyes opened and Loki very slowly sat up, a hand moving to cover his neck where blood still flowed from the wound. A were-creature. It didn't take long, his body began to ache and burn from the inside out. A curse. His body could purge it. Loki winced and flinched lightly. His eyes not leaving Surya.

He inhaled deeply, his voice was low and sounded a bit strained. "I've shared my blood with all manner of creatures...Vampires, other demons and even an elf with bloodlust. Though..this is the first time I have shared my blood with someone who is not a member of my family." His body ached, but he moved slowly, standing a bit uneasily. "You should rest now." That hand still covered the wound, it would heal..but only after his body had purged the curse from his veins.

Loki turned and moved out the door, closing it behind him. He couldn't take another step, he slid down, sitting on the floor with his back against that door. He closed his eyes. A foolish thing for him to do while he was still weak, the craving, the need for an elf heart was returning but not strong. He could fend off that craving. He would be alright. Those eyes closed.

Surya shuddered, still hiding beneath her hands as she spoke to him. “I….I’m sorry…” Was all she said, shuddering from head to toe. She looked up as he closed the door, looking ot where she could smell her mouse hiding. “G..go get him help…” Was all she said as she dug her claws into the floor, the smell of his blood and body on the other side of the door driving the were in her crazy….

The mouse mean while went and teased one of the maids, getting her to chase him in the hall. The maid would soon be distracted by the sight of loki and she bent to be near him. “Are you okay?” She asked quietly, looking fearful but still kind….even if her eyes lingered on his inhuman features a bit longer then she meant to .

Those eyes opened almost immediatly when that maid was close to him. The crimson orbs glowing slightly. With his free hand he reached for her. "Help me..to my room..." With the maid's help he was soon on his feet and moving towards his room with soft directions to the maid. What a nice girl she was. Once at his door, he leaned on the door frame and fished out a few coins. Rewarding the girl for her help. "If..it's not too much trouble..a few bandages please?" Then the door was opened and Loki stumbled into his room, sitting on the floor with his back against the bed as the maid scurried off and then returned not long after.

She brought him the bandages and Loki reassured her that he was fine, then bid her a soft farewell. She closed the door behind her and scurried off to take care of her other duties. It didn't take long and Loki had that bandage around his neck. Then he tilted his head back against the bed and closed his eyes. Within moments, Loki had fallen asleep. The ache and pain in his body had dulled some, meaning the curse that could be passed on to other creatures was nearly out of him.

[actually I'm only lurking and waiting for others to post <.< It's finals week and I'll barely have time until mid june to hang around more often here. But whenever someone posts or things start moving I'll jump on bandwagon =)]
