Daigo kept his eyes on the card that had the phoenix on it as he slowly reached for it and picked it up. "Ma'am...m-m-may I keep this?" he asked as the old lady tilted her head in confusion why he would want to keep a card but nodded aynway. "thank you..." he said as he got up and bowed to her in thanks for her help as he turned around and left the fortune teller shop. He walked around town as he kept his eyes down on the card most of the time as he frowned deeply. "Wh-w-what am I?...." he asked himself with a bit of fear in his voice.

The small girl looked up at Libby "there you go. Good to go." She looked over at Akio and smiled. "There you go she's all yours. I'm going to eat with the others." She said as she ran over to the other group.
Libby looked up at Akio. "Where is everyone?" She asked as she for up from the floor. "Look Akio were alone." She said softly as she huged him. "Thanks for being my hero" She said softly in his ear. "I love you."

Akio looked over toward Libby as he smiled softly and nodded. He still felt really weak from being slammed into the wall by Jake but tried not to show it. "Yo-Y-your welcome." he said a bit weakly as he slowly tried to stand up but immediatly fell back onto the floor coughing up blood. Dammit!....i...I guess I'm still too weak he thought as his panther didn't care to help him or not. When he slowly looked back up at Libby, he smiled softly and sat back up and leaned in, kissing her lips gently once before leaning back. "I love you too." he said quietly as his tail slowly wrapped itself around his stomach and his ears flinched a couple of times.

Daigo kept walking forward no longer even thinking where he was walking as he ended up walking into an allyway. Wh-w-what am I?.....w-wh-why does this show a phoenix....and I had ashes when I reawokened... he thought as he really wanted to believe it was just a bad joke someone played on him putting ashes from somewhere when he was hit by the car, but still t hat wouldnt have explained why he reawakened without a single scratch. Suddenly when he realized he was in an allyway, Daigo gasped and looked around. "Whoa!! Wh-w-when did I get in here?!" he yelled in shock. Slowly a man wearing all black came out of the shadows holding a gun to Daigo's face demanding he handed over everything he had. "B-b-but I dont have anything." he said in feared tone as he backed up to a dead end scared for his life.

Libby blushed at the kiss. "Akio." she said softly. She then heard him say he loved her. She blushed even more. "Lets get you home." she said. She grabbed him by the arm. "I have a small house around here if you would like to get away from people.

Akio smiled softly as he nodded and tried to stand up but only felt pain in his entire body. "I can't really move, Libby." he said with a nervous laugh as he sat back down and reached over with his other arm to hold onto her hand that was on his arm. "it doesn't really matter anyway....I just want to be with you is all." he said quietly as he slowly leaned back and laying on the ground. "I...I think I'm going to take a little nap." he said as he closed his eyes to fall asleep.

Right as the robber pulled the trigger to the gun just from the loud sound and the impact of the bullet, Daigo's phoenix immediatly sprung out as a extremely loud screech came from the allyway breaking several windows in the neirborhood. Right as the phoenix screeched a large burning figure of the phoenix appeared right above the allyway. The man who had pulled the trigger looked up in fear as his mouth was open widely turning around and running away from the allyway.

"Aiko..." she said softly as she sat beside him. She looked at his face, as she paniced at little. She gently shook him. "Akio?" She gently touched his face. "I don't thinks its a good idea for you to sleep." she said. "I don't want to lose you again." she said just above a whisper. "I wont." she said.

Jake stood up and walked over to leaf "we should go find Kay" he said to him, he held his hand out for leaf to shake "im sorry for calling you a rat" he chuckled, then he turned and looked at the exit "lets go"

Akio smiled softly as he looked over at Libby with his eyes seeming to be still extremely weak. He slowly took his hand and placed it onto her cheek as he tilted his head. "Dont worry Libby.....I....I won't leave you again...." he said as he began to feel light-headed, until a sudden pain hit him from in his head as his eyes flung wide open and fell to the floor, unconcious. I guess....Im more tired then I thought I was.... he thought while on the floor. While laying on the floor basically asleep, Akio was beginning to purr as his tail wrapped around his body and his ears flapped down against his skull.

After a couple of minutes had passed of the phoenix contiously screeching in the middle of the sky, it slowly began to evporate as Daigo was laying on the floor in the middle of the allyway sleeping, completely unaware of what happened. The gunshot wound on his chest had completely disappeared, while his shirt and pants seemed to be on fire in a few spots, but strangly enough the fire wasn't spreading or burning his body.

Libby sat beside him and looked down at his face. She gently lifted his head and gently laid it in her lap. She gently began to play with his hair. "I love you Akio. I will stay with you for as long as you need me." she said softly. Libby gently touched his ear, She had never felt anything so soft. "I will always be beside you." She said softly as she kissed him softly.

Akio just stayed laying at Libby's lap unconcious as he strangly felt her hands and began to purr quietly for her. Libby....its....Libby... he thought as he slowly began to smile while he slept.

Libby smiled as she keep petting his ear. "I'll be here when you wake up. I'll be here for you Akio, no matter what." she said softly. She smiled at him as she looked at the wall. She notised that there was something on the wall that she had never seen before. Not that she had ever been in this deep. She knew she would have to wait till Akio awoke.

After a few minutes Akio began to wake up as he yawned and shook his head. "Ah...that was a great cat nap." he said with a little smile as he looked up at Libby slightly. "Oh....hey there love." he said with a soft smile as he leaned up and gave her gentle kiss onto the cheek.

Libby smiled and looked down at him. "Hey your up." she said as she blushed when he kissed her cheek. "I think I found something on the wall over there." she said as she pointed past the rubble of the altar that once stood there. "I think it has something to to on why Lexie was trying to kill you." she said as she gently played with his hair.

Akio slowly turned his head to the side while Libby was playing with his hair as he saw the symbols on the wall. "Hmm?...w-whats that?" he asked as he looked back up at Libby and snuggled his head into her stomach. "Can we just check it later?" he asked with a little quiet purr under his voice.

Leaf shook his hand. What an odd custom... He thought, letting go. "Hey, I am a rat. It's no offense to me." He said walking over to the exit. "Let's go catch up to Kay. I wasn't joking about what will happen if she's drunk." Leaf said, completely serious. She was a handful when she was sober... He thought. "C'mon, I can follow her scent."

Libby giggled as he rubbed his face into her stomach "Akio.." she said still giggling. She looked down at him and smiled. She was still playing with is hair. "I wouldn't mind saying like this." she said softly. She was hiding something from him. She couldn't tell him who she really was he wouldn't understand.

Akio kept looking at Libby as he slowly closed his eyes and contiued snuggling into her stomach. "thank you....." he said with a whisper as he wrapped his arms around her waist as well.

Libby smiled and played with is ear some more. "Akio? Whats your biggest dream?" she asked softly as she looked over at the wall. She softly pulled on his ear, she then gently kissed his ear. "What are you most afraid of?" she asked.

"My biggest dream?......hmmm....I'm not really sure." Akio said with a nervous little laugh as he scratched the back of his head. He had never really ever had time to ever dream of about his biggest desire before but always had time to dream about his fears. "Wh-w-w-what am i most afraid of....there are too many things....t-t-to name." he said with a scared tone.

Jake looked at leaf and smiled "ok, but if she gets drunk, then i will sort her out" he said smiling and feeling better about things "you can lead the way, i shall follow"

Leaf sniffed the ground, his nose twitching. "Alright, I got her..." He said, and they started walking. Eventually, they made it to the bar where Kay was located. Leaf dodged a left hook from a drunkard who was swinging at the air as he was coming in. Then he saw Kay. "Hey!" He yelled, trying to weave his way through the crowd of the hardy yet smelly men. "Nearly lost you back there..." He said, sitting next to her. "Sir?" The bartender asked, motioning to the drinks. "Uh, no thank you. I'll just eat the peanuts." He said, pulling a bowl of the salty peanuts near him.
