"A lot more than you need to know hasss happened between her and I. We plan on getting married sssoon, but don't worry. I treat her a lot better than your husssband." Din then turned his gaze to Ana, ignoring her fathers questions. "I'm sorry for having to bring this up, but sssomething like this has to come to justice. It does me no joy to resurrect bad memoriesss." He then turned back to her father, Paul. "Now, you would like to know what I am wouldn't you? Sssorry, but I don't think you even deserve to know. To anssswer your second question, you curiousss bastard, I've done a few things to Ana, but none that I never asssked about beforehand. I've only done good for her."

Ana finally found her voice and stpped out of her mother's embrace. "He's telling the truth mom. He's only been good to me. If it wasn't for him you'd probaly be planning my funeral." Ana looked at Din and smiled sadly. He had given her a lot and she would be eternally grateful for that. He even gave her some courage to finally tell someone what happened. She looked her mother in the eye and took a deep breath, "Dad raped me when he came to visit." Ana looked at her mother's horrified expression as tears started to build up. "I'm sorry."

Paul glared at his child and then looked at his distraught wife. "Come on honey you seriously can't believe our delusional daughter can you? The girl spent most of her time play video games and now when we come home she is shacking up with was snaked skinned brat. She is obviously starving for attention and she's getting it anyway she can. Even if it means whoring herself around."

Anger burned through every vein in Din's body, but he quelled his fury, taking a deep breath, and only shot him a stern glare. "If it weren't for the fact that you are Ana's father, you would be dead now for saying that. I can't believe that you have the nerve to call your daughter that after what you have done to her. You'd do your best to keep from talking about her like that or not even your connection with her will save you." He decided it was time to step away from him; his scent was really bothering him. Din returned to Ana's side with a smile and he took her hand in his.

"Din don;t worry about him. We're leaving." What her father said had truly pissed her off but Ana decided it would be best to just ignore him. She walk to the door and gabbed her car keys. But she stopped when she heard her mother call for her.

"Ana if what you say is true then we really need to discuss this."

"DISCUSS! My father robbed me of my innocence. There is no talking about it." Ana started to cry but her shook the tears away and gripped Din's hand harder. "Mon I cna honestly understand why your scared. He's the man of your life. You have loved him since you met in school. I wouldn't hate you for staying with him but I can no longer have anything to do with that man, or this house." Ana pulled Din through the threshold and she got into her car. She had no idea where she was going but it had to be some where else for a while.

Paul looked on as his child slammed the door. He looked at his wife. She turned and glared at him. "I thought I told you to traumatize her enough so she wouldn;t get involved with the boy."

With all acts dropped Paul looked frightful of his wife. She rolled her eyes and walked to the window to see the two drive off. "No matter. I'll deal with the mother of them myself." The blinds she was gripping suddenly conbusted and turned to ash.

(Hmm. Nice twist. :) )

Din looked at Ana and sympathized for her. "I'm sssorry, Ana. I know that wasn't eassssy." He looked back at the house one last time and saw something burning in her mother's hand. "Huh?" He ignored the odd sight, thinking it was just his new vision fooling with him. The world was clear, even when the car was at high speed; the outside wasn't blurred. After what seemed like ages of silence, he leaned over and kissed her cheek. "I'll always love you, Ana."

Ana nodded and looked to Din. "Me too. I don't I would have survived through everything if it wasn't for you." Ana sped thdown the road. SHe recieved a few honks and cusses but she didn't care. The speed was giving her a sort of high feeling. She looked at her speedometer to see she was approaching 100mph. She smiled and pushed her car to the limit. When she noticed the upcoming exit she slowed down and took it. Even though the air was crisp Ana had driven them to the beach. She parked dangerously close to the edge of the cliff and began to strip. She smiled happily at Din and planted her feet at the edge. She giggled and waved before she jumped.

Din laughed. "No clothes is ssso overrated!" Jumping off a cliff into the water below wasn't exactly what he planned to do for recovery, but it was better than having to watch her speed down a road. Without much of delay, he followed after her. The air was a little hard to breath while it moved by him so fast. Din closed his body together to increase his diving speed and yelled at Ana as he passed, "I win!" He crashed into the ocean soon after.

Ana smiled as she splashed and met Din under the waters surface. She grabbed his face and pecked his lips before she kicked upwards for a breath of air. Ana loved swimming. It had always calmed her on her worst days. Something about the water was just so serene. She could help but relax and she floated on her back. The sun was still in the midst of rising and the water was blistering cold but she didn't mind one bit. Her finger tips danced across the surface. All of todays troubles were forgotten.

Din was feeling rather bold to test out if he had another trait of being part snake. He let out the air in his lungs and took a breath of water, which satisfied his need for oxygen just as much as air and he laughed, which wasn't very easy to hear underwater. He surfaced and floated on his back next to Ana. "I'm a little curiousss as to why you're naked. It'sss not a nude beach you know? Not that I mind." He chuckled and poked her belly.

"I like being naked. I'm thinking of joining a nudist colony." She scrunched up her nose as Din continued to poke her. "And who is going to come to the beach in this weather? Much less get into the water. We aren't human so doesn't effect us that much. I imagine they'll get a case of hypothermia." She took a breath and dove backwards into the water. Then she smirked as she saw Din floating at the surface. She grabbed him by the ankle and dragged him down.

"Like being naked? Well I guess that not so bad, but joining a colony... Wa-!" Din wasn't really expecting that as much as he should have and was startled. "No fair," he said, his words distorted under the water. He stared at her and thought for a moment. 'I have a romantic idea...' Din swam to her and locked lips with her, but gave her oxygen when she needed it.

Ana was startled when Din pulled her into a lip lock. Ana enjoyed every minute of it. Her heart fluttered at the new experience. She was runnning out breath up until he breathed life into her. She just grinned against his lips as they continued. Her hands weaved into his free flowing hair. As cliche as it sounded she just wished she could freeze time and remain like this.

Din broke the kiss and hugged her tightly for a moment before swimming to the surface, pulling Ana along with him. The water, to him, was very cold since he had cold blood working against him as well so he couldn't hold back a small shiver. "Warm enough for you?" he asked rhetorically and looked out to the horizon where a dark storm was brewing. It looked very unwelcoming and was going to take awhile to get back to the car. "How are we going to get back with you naked?" he asked and giggled.

"Why, we are going to run of course." Ana grinned as she looked at him. "Or we can go the boring route and you can just sift into the car?" Ana pouted at that. She wanted to do something crazy and irrational. A loud roar of thunder make her flinch slightly. "Whatever you pick you better do it fast."

"Lets walk the way up. Make a few people jealous," he gave a mischievous smirk and poke of her chest then swam for the shore. "Come on, while there's still some people." he waved to her from the shore, which was about ten yards away from her. Another bolt of lightening shot off and Din could just make out what was on the receiving end of the strike. He laughed evilly when he noticed it was a dolphin. It was either foolish or very unlucky to do a trick in a lightening storm and it paid dearly for it.

Ana felt bad for the poor mammal that just ogt struck. She could only glare at her boyfriend for laughing at it. Ana truly hoped it was okay. She swam to the waters shallows and got up to walk. She stuck up her chin proudly and walked passed Din.

((I don't like dolphins...))

"What?" Din asked in a complaining tone. He rolled his eyes. "Fine, I'll make sure it's ok." Din jumped back into the ocean and swam off to find the dolphin, ignoring the stares and whistle calls that Ana got. It took him a good ten minutes to get that far out in the ocean and he found the overgrown fish floundering about in circles and wiggling like a fish on a boat deck. "The things I do for love," he chuckled and sent another electric pulse through the animal as if to cancel out the first one. Animals were never really into thanking someone; it swam off just as fast as he did once he was finished.

Ana put her hand to her mouth to hold back a giggle but it came out anyway. "Who knew I was going to marry such a softy." Ana said behind her hand as she recived a few stares for some men and a lot glares from their partners. "She turned to the water and shouted, "Hurry up you slow monkey!"

Din groaned and swam back to the shore. "You're a slave driver, but I love you so it's ok." He rolled his eyes and gave all the guys staring the bird. "Shall we go? Or is there some other defenseless animal that has become the victim of nature that you would like me to save?" He held out his hand to her and looked into her eyes, which he admired.

"I'm such there is a bird out there with a broken wing crying out for Din." Ana laught whole heartedly and walked hand in hand with him. "But we can go and save him tomorrow. Right now I want you all to myself." And skipped on swinging their hands merrily. Ana just like she was floating on air. And she would enjoy these happy moments for as long as she could. She loved the way Din's large hands always seem wo swallow hers up. His skin was getting a little rougher. It had to be an effect of the changing he was going through.

Din flicked his tongue at her neck. "I'm all yoursss to command. Be gentle though," he teased. A family of three was walking towards the beach and the wife had to smack her husband for staring and cover her son's five year old eyes. The little boy giggled when he couldn't see. "She's so pretty, mama!" Din smiled back at the child when they passed. "Well, if you never took my word for it, I think that's sssolid proof."

"Aw he was cute." Ana watched the family walk away with the wife muttering some not so nice things about her under her breath. Ana couldn't really blame her though. "Baby, I never doubt you." She smiled earnestly at Din. "But now I am seriously wondering about something, but I'll save it for later, I don't want to scare you." Ana absentmindedly traced figure eights on the back of his hand.

"You know how to spark my curiosity. I think I can safely say that I'm not scared easily, so please tell me what you were going to ask." Din gave her a sad look, which was more than a little hard to pull of with his serpent appearance. He released her hand and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Come on, tell me?" He was acting like a stubborn child. He was excessively inquisitive and nosy, so it wasn't likely she would keep her secret for long.

Ana tried not to laugh at Din's puppy dog. But it was to cute so she just gave in. "I'm just wondering if you seroiusly meant what you said to my parents. About us getting married? I mean we mention it in passing but we really discussed are future. But its not like we are getting old are anything so I don't want you to think that I am rushing you. That an the fact that we've only known each other for a few months. Although I feel as though I have known you for much, much longer."

"Hmm. I can relate." Din let go of her body and continued walking again. The car wasn't far now. "Marrying you would csssertainly make my life perfect, but we'd have to go to the netherworld for that to be done. Vampiresss can't walk in to human churches unlessss you'd like to be set on fire. That and I'll have to work a little while ssso I can get enough money to get you a lovely ring." He winked at her and went to get her clothes. "Here. I really enjoy the view, but I think we've angered enough people." Din held her clothes out to her.
