"Be careful with my baby okay?" She peteed her dashboard lovingly. "It's not that I won't give them a chance. I'm just extremely nervous. But Your with me so I should be okay." Ana glanced at him out the corner of her eyes. "And anytime you feel thirsty I'm your personal blood bank. So don't be so angry at school all the time. You can't ataack someone everytime they piss you off."
((night night im sleepy))

Din turned to her and smiled. "Alright, I promise to keep my temper. And you're not my blood bank, Ana. Your a person and one I care very much for, so don't belittle yourself to such a lowly term," he said and gently kissed her forehead. He slowly backed up and drove the car on his way to his house. The brakes were not as sensitive as he liked, but the steering felt smooth enough. It still wasn't enough to get him into driving though.

Ana scrunched up her nose when she felt him kiss her forehead. "I get it. I'm just trying to make you feel more comfortable." She didn't believe she was belittling herself but she wouldn't argue with him. She just sat back and enjoyed the ride. It's been a while since she wasn't behind the wheel anymore. It gave her time to enjoy her surroundings and watch as they sped down the vacant road. " So tell me about your parents'?"

"You will think of my mom as probably the most odd and different person you will ever meet on the face of the earth. She is soft spoken when she does speak and umm... Likes to touch... My father is a quiet one who will say the least that he can when asked a question and will never start his own conversations." Din never took his eyes off the road and drove about five miles slower than the limit. He wanted to make sure he didn't damage the car.

"So both your parents' are kind of shy. Exccept your is a little more physical?" Ana sighed inwardly. She was always awkward aroun shy people so she generally dislike them. Time spent with them was filled with weird and awkward silent moments where they would just stare at one another. She wasn't looking foward to that. Then Ana though up another question that plagued her mind. "Are they your biological parents?"

"My father isn't, but my mother is and no, they aren't shy. My dad doesn't like to talk, but you might have a little trouble getting my mother off of you. Can I ask what raised the question if I was adopted or not?" Din found it confusing and wondered if it was blind luck or if, somehow, she could tell he no longer had both his parents.

He pulled into his driveway and shut off the engine. He noticed his group of close friends and band members coming around the far corner. "Trust me, you'll like everyone."

"I was just curious, and it was a shot in the dark really." Ana saw his friends not to far off in the distace. She tensed up again. "What do you mean but I won't be able to get your mother off of me?" SHe was instantly nervous again. She opened the car door at a snail's paste but didn't more to get out. She took a deep breath trying to calm herself and put on a small smile that didn't reach her eyes. "Ok, here we go."

Din couldn't hold back a small frown when he noticed her happy mask and facade. "Ana, just be yourself. No ones going to hurt you." He waved in response to a wave from Lilith and Brock. In all, the group of Din's friends consisted of four. "From left to right, their names are Brock, Jack, Lilith, and Mandy." His finger moved to point to each person who's name was mentioned. Contrary to Din, they all looked very beautiful and would easily fit Ana's previous assumption of all vampires being beautiful.

"You are a terrible liar." Was all Ana could say as she gazed at his beautiful friends. The girls made her feel slightly inferior and the boys were absolutely dazzling. But not as much as her Din. And fidgeted with the bottom of her skirt nervously. "Um..I'm Ana, hi." She gave a robotic wave and bit her lip.

"Wow, Din, you brought us a meal! A fine one too!" said Jack, who quickly received a smack to the back of the head from Mandy. "Idiot, lay off. Isn't it obvious she's scared? Acting like you're going to eat her won't do her any favors." Brock stared at Din and, with a monotone, asked, "Why did you fall in love with a human?" Din frowned as his eyes fell. He had no answer. Lilith broke the silence with her soft voice. "What a terrible thing to ask..."

Ana moved behind Din and grasped his shirt, burrying her head into his back. He always smelt so wonderful. "Din maybe this was a bad idea. I can go home. And we can always see each other tomorrow. Or you can visit me later, when your done rehearsing." What his friend Jack said had really spooked her. And Brock had delivered the finishing blow.

Din could spit his own venom and he certainly did. "I may have fallen in love with a human, but I'm more happy than I've ever been in my life. When's the last time you ever had anyone tell you they loved you, Brock?" The boy fell silent and a frown crept over his face as well. Jack broke the silence with a laugh. "Ha! Serves you right!" Lilith gently pushed Din aside and took a hold of Ana's hands. "Please stay, we don't bite. It's just the two boys are socially awkward at meeting new people. Besides, you haven't even met Din's parents..."

Ana eyes were wide at the girls sudden action. Ana just nodded like an idiot. "Um, I'll stay but can you let go of me now?" Physical contact with a complete stranger was a little nerve wrecking. She wasn't a germaphobe or anything it was just something that always made her nervous. She had no idea why she was so comfortable clinging to Din. She glared at the two boys behind Lilith and let out a small snort. Socially awkward my ass.

Both off the boys looked at her and in unison, exclaimed, "Hey! I heard that!" After realizing that, they laughed at each other and Lilith frowned a little when she was told to let go, but she did. Din leaned to Ana's ear and whispered. "If you feel awkward when Lilith touches you, you're going to have a lot of fun meeting my mom," he said sarcastically. "So, Din, will she be staying for our rehearsal?" Mandy asked this, but her red-eyed gaze never left Ana.

Ana just ignore the special twins and kept on looking at Lilith. She felt bad when she saw Lilith's face fall. "Is your mother really that bad?" Ana couldn't imagine anyone being that physically demanding. And she turned to the girl with a look simular to Din's. "Yes, I will be staying, at least I think I am, is that alright?"

Mandy gave a small grin. "That's nice," she said simply and walked into Din's house. She was soon followed by the others, but Din stayed behind and offered his hand to Ana to lead her in. He was sure it was much more than nerve-racking to enter a house filled with people not of the same species. "Yes, but I don't consider her bad. She just likes to touch... A lot."

"All I'm saying is that you better save me if I like I'm dying, okay?" Ana was just hoping that his mother really wasn't as aggressive as he mad it seem. Maybe she was one of those people that liked to pinch kids' cheeks. She was in for such a rude awakening. She turned her attention back to the band. "How long have you guys been playing together?"

"About five years," Jack said before entering the house. Din walked Ana up to the steps, but his grip on her hand was soon severed; his mother had found her. "Awww... What a cute little girl, Din." She ran her hand along her curves and smiled. "Din talks about you a lot. Treat him well," her voice was very soft, almost inaudible and it was interrupted by her son's lament. "Oh my God, mom...." She looked back at him curiously, but her smile returned to Ana and she let her finger slide down Ana's cleavage...

Ana was surprised that they had been playing together for so long. That meant they were together before they got to high school or atleast till Din got to highschool. She wasn't too sure how old the others were. Looks could be very decieving. As Din walked her up the stairs his grip became unbareable. "Din your hurting my..." Ana's statement was cut short when she was called 'cute'. She looked to see where the high yet soft feminine voice had come from. A pixie figured woman stood before her. And from Din's reaction she would guess it was his mother. His groaning confirmed it. "Hi Mi..." She was cut off again when her sides were being felt up by his mom. I guess it runs in the family. Ana stood as straight as a statue until his mother's hands began to get to friendly with her small mounds. She took a step back and hid behind Din again.

Din's mother gave a cute giggle. "So shy," she said and pranced back into the house to greet her son's friends. Din turned to Ana with a disgruntled look. "I told you she's bad, but that was actually very mild. She could have been a lot wors-" "I almost forgot! I'm Mrs. Tsoni and I hope you won't mind staying for dinner?" she asked but didn't wait for an answer since she returned to the household, but not before forcing herself onto Ana, french kissing her for a long moment. Din's eyes were wide and for good reason...

Ana kissing experience was very limited. First of all she had only kissed one person. Secondly it was a guy. And the reason for her current shock was that she was being kissed by a new person and that person happened to be the first person's mother. Confusing? Well atleast you aren't in her shoes. Ana wanted to scream and push her off but she couldn't move. When his mother pulled away she turned to Din. His expression mirrored her own. It was one of pure horror. Ana opened her mouth to say but quickly closed it. She tried again but failed once more. She looked like a fish out of water.

"That's my mother...." he said with a saddened tone. His mother had been more assertive and got closer to Ana in one minute than Din could do in a week. "You can leave now if you want. I understand and honestly can't blame you if you do," he offered and didn't even bother looking her in the eye. Jack decided to yell out a unnecessary reminder that they should come inside. Din only stood there and waited for her choice.

"Din I'm not going to leave. But.." Ana was suddenly feeling bold and took a step closer to Din. She trailed her hand up his white crisp shirt slowly but with much purpose. "I would like it if you get you mother's taste off of my lips." She stepped back and shrugged teasingly. "But if you want me to leave I can completely unuderstand. I can just go back to my cold...lonely... vacant home. And feed my cat. I've been neglecting Po lately." She put on a sly grin and began to wiggle back to her car.

Din, surprisingly, didn't "fall" for the trap that was assumed he'd fall into. A tear fell and crystallized before it hit the ground with the sound of a dropped penny. "I think your cat misses you," he said and vanished, later to appear on a faraway beach on a currently undiscovered island. He had denied all of his family, friends, and even lover his presence. The kiss his mother had given Ana was a direct slap in the face and much more. All he wanted to do was sit there and wait for his control over his emotions to return, but until that moment arrived, he cried silently.

Lilith was the only one who had witnessed what had happened, while the others were enjoying a lovely conversation and a game of Life. She slowly walked to Ana and stood there. Lilith knew she would need some comfort in a few moments. "It's nothing personal. He isn't normal you know..."

"I really don't care. It was interestng meeting you guys and all but I think I should do. 'Nothing personal'" Ana quoted the small girl with a small sneer and almost ran to her car. She had practically thrown herself at him and he denied her. Talk about a blow to the ego. She had gone outside her comfort zone and came to his house. She had hoped to have a good time but it all turned down hill when he vanished into thin air. If he wanted to continue to run away from his problem that was fine with her. Her vision was becoming clouded wth tears. "Selfish bastard." And gripped her stirring wheel with much force. She sped towards her home and parked in her garage and slammed evey door she could. She was so lost in her own pissed off world she didn't feel the presence behind her.

"Wow, I finally come home and I find you breaking up our home." I froze upon hearing that deep and authoritive voice.

"Daddy?"

"Hi, pumpkin."
