"That sounds incredibly dull," said Kiri. "I don't see what's wrong with going out with a human. I mean, going out with a guy once doesn't mean you're signing up for a long-term relationship! Where's the harm?

"I don't know, I've studied Human relationships and they normally turn out ugly as hell.." Sophia moaned. "Do you know anyone? Demon or Human I mean? On Earth..or do you cope alone?"

"If I get bored here I'll go out with a human once or twice," said Kiri. "But no long term relationships. As I said, no one meets my standards." She avoided the subject of demons.

"Well, as far as I am aware the last Angel, beside's my mother and myself, to be stuck on Earth was Mother Thereasa. So lonesville." Sophia muttered.

"So why not try a short-term relationship with a human?" asked Kiri.

"You really feel that idea, don't you? Lovely idea...really." Sophia muttered and had a sip of her Cola. "And how do you suggest I even find a guy that's worthy?"

"Well if worthy you mean perfect, you're gonna be alone for the rest of your life and die a virgin," said Kiri. "For a short-term relationship it's not like you need your soul mate."

"We Angels are known to be slightly picky. But...ooooh," Sophia smiled and trailed off as a vveerryy dishy guy walked in. His medium brown hair flicked out at the sides and his fringe swept to the side. His light blue eyes were really big and excitable. His smile was warm and welcoming, he was tall and slightly muscle-e. Skinny, but not scary skinny. He was wearing a light blue shirt with sleeves going to his elbows and a white t-shirt beneath it. His white shoes matching the tee and a pair of dark blue baggy jeans with a bright white belt.
"Mine!" Sophia grinned.

"He's a bit well dressed," said Kiri. "Might be gay. But go ahead."

"Not gay, Gay men have a certain valure. He is lacking that valure." Sophia smiled and bit her lip to stop grinning so wide. "What does one do?"

Kiri shrugged. "I don't know what Angels do but if you want to get anywhere then go talk to him, or "accidentally" bump into him."

"Okay..." Sophia went to get up and then she bumped straight into the bloke sh'ed been eyeing up. Falling to the floor she went bright red. And Angels are born Graceful!!

Kiri tried very very hard not to laugh as she saw Sophia fall down to the floor. She half succeeded.

The guy proved to be a gentleman as Sophia a hand in geting up off the floor. "Woah! I am so sorry! I didn't see you there." His voice was more than was to be expected from a man so perfect, deep and tempting...a little like chocolate! *cheesy XD *
Sophia spluttered trying to say something, but nothing would effectively come out at this point.

Kiri rolled her eyes. A perfect gentleman. She hated them. But Sophia didn't seem to mind.

"Eh, no, it was my fault. I can be a total clutz," Sophia lied. "I'm sorry." She couldn't think of anything clever to say and looked at Kiri for support.

Kiri smirked and shook her head. She had to sort this out for herself. =She then started looking through her shopping bags, pretendng not to notice Sophia.

"Nah, don't worry about it. You probably got the most of the damage." He smiled and Sophia melted. To not look lke a complete twat she decided to introduce herself and her...demon. "I'm Sophia La Tianee. This's Kiri...no last name."

Kiri looked up from her bags and gave an absent wave before returning. She didn't really want to interrupt. She didn't really know why... normally she wouldn't have cared less

"Dustan Blake." He gave his hand in form of a hand shake. Sophia looked up at his Angellic face, it was strange. His face was beautiful, more beautiful than a human male. Sophia shook it off, she was just a bit jittered from falling. However, when she took his hand something clicked. It couldn't be...!

*Lol, be OUTNUMBERED! :P*

Kiri's head snapped up. He wasn't... he couldn't be. He was. He was an angel. She had been so caught up in the whole "human experience" she hadn't noticed. And she had to leave. Now.
Snatching up her bags she went for the door.

"Kiri??" Sophia called as she ran to the door. She concentrated on the fleeing figure and tracked her DemonEnergies with the Eyes of Luminus. She wouldn't lose this chance to study Demonic behaviour.
"Something wrogn with the Demon?" Dustan asked, "Why is a fellow Angel with a Demon?"
"Chance encounter. Just like this, I suppose."

Hanging around with Sophia hadn't been bad. In some ways, it was actually fun, although Kiri would never admit that out loud. Even though she was an angel, it was still ok. But now there was two of them. She was outnumbered, and it felt bad. Really bad. She needed to get away from them both as fast as possible.

"So what brought you to Earth?.." Sophia asked as the two of them walked down the streets in the direction of the Park. She couldn't help smile at the fact she wasn't alone on Earth. She did however feel the need to spend more time with the Demon, it was an enjoyable two hours.
"Studying, human behaviour and their enterpritation of Angels and Demons." Dustan replied smiling. "I have a suspision that is why you are here? My main question is why you where in the company of a Demon??"
"Chance encounter in Starbucks. I, ofcourse, kept her on tabs. Just in case, you know?" Sophia lied about spending a shopping trip with her and all else. What would a fellow Angel feel about enjoyable company with a...a Demon??

For the first time since she came to earth, Kiri felt miserable. She didn't even fully understand why. Had she really enjoyed going shopping with an angel that much? She needed coffee. And so she returned to her seat in the corner of Starbucks, as though her encounter with the Angel had never happened.
