Violent Peace and Roze
My character:
Name: Kiri Appearance: http://i591.photobucket.com/albums/s...lice/Demon.jpg Personality: Demonic. She does enjoy inflicting pain a little too much, but she's been growing more and more bored with everything and doesn't go around torturing people for fun, which she used to do. Other info: She looks a lot younger than she is (even for a demon) and most of the time she looks almost innocent |
Name:- Sophia La Tianee
Appearance:- Angel meets flower by =WildRainOfIceAndFire on deviantART Personality:- Angelic. Loves helping people and studying the behavioural pattern of Humans. Other info:- Starbucks addict. Loves Harp and r'n'b. :p |
Kiri wandered down the cold street, wondering if it was worth it to buy another pair of shoes. Or even to steal some. The human world could be very dull, very dull indeed. It kept Kiri in an almost constant bored state. She didn't feel the cold like the humans did, but it was right in the middle of winter and there was snow everywhere, so she was still a bit chilly. Mkaing a slight detour, she wandered into starbucks for some coffee. The human world may be boring, but they made good coffee, at least.
Sophia wore her knee -length white dress, blending it in to the winter season by adding majorly thick black tights and a pair of woolen white fluffy boots. She adorned a jacket that just covered her dress and a thick hat and scarf...and her favourite pair of kitten mittens. Her red hair that wasn't covered by the hat and scarf blew in the snowy wind, which would eventually form a blizzard. She did feel the cold but not as much as the little humans scurrying about to get to cars or into stores during the Christmas rush season. Taking a left turn up the street she found herself being drawn into a nearby Starbucks. She smiled and followed the glorious scent of Coffee beans into the store.
Kiri was sitting in the corner drinking her coffee when a girl came in. Kiri could tell she was different. Even though she seemed to be doing a much better job than Kiri herself at blending in (she had attracted quite a few stares from wearing her small, thin loli dress in the middle of winter) but she was simply too pretty to be human. She didn't feel like a demon either. That could only mean... an angel?!
"Mocha, please, Luoanne. No- wait Hot Chocolate!" Sophia smiled sweetly at the teenager she had befriended over her many visits to the store. She pulled out her little golden purse, popping it open and taking the money out for a Banana Cookie and her chocolate drink she craved. Leaning against the counter she turned and smiled at the amount of people who had escaped the cold to get a cup of 'Joe', mostly teenagers - hey, if you can't have drugs, have coffee! She was about to ask Louanne for a few marshmallows dunked into the Hot Chocolate when her eyes befell a girl sitting in the corner of the room. Holding a cup of coffee like any other humman, the only reason Sophia found her to be a compelling site to look at was the fact she was wearing a tiny lolita dress...in the middle of Winter.
Another odd thing was that she was too devilishly pretty to be normal...her eyes far to dark, her skin too pale. There was an aura emitting form her as well. It was dark and sinister...and very bored. This wasn't no ordinary human, an angel like herself? No, the aura said otherwise. This was a demon. |
Kiri knew the angel had noticed her. She wondered if this might cause any problems... angels and demons tended to hate each other on principle, but Kiri really didn't feel like getting into a fight at the moment. She stirred her coffee and met the angel's eyes over the mug. Now, let's see what you'll do... she thought.
"You Choco, Sophia." Louanne grinned over the counter at Sophia and handed her the mug. Picking up a muffin Sophia turned and found herself wandering over to the same table the suspected demon sat at. This would turn out so well, angels and demons hated eachother...period.
The angel was coming voer to her table. Kiri wasn't really all that surprised. Even though angels and demons tended not to get on (as in they wouldn't stop trying to kill each other), a coincidence such as this could not just be ignored. An angel and a demon in one coffee shop? You couldn't go through that experience with absolutely no interaction.
"How's Heaven?" asked Kiri dryly, taking a sip of her coffee and lounging back into her chair. |
"Fluffy clouds, white cobbled streets. The sun's always shining and there's harps wherever you go." Sophia immitated her dry tone, sipped her Hot Chocolate and continued. "At least that's what I recall from last time I was there." She tooke a bite of her banana muffin. "Hell still a gigantic rock plunged into a lava pit and the screams of torture echoing through you with every second you're there?"
"Nah. A bunch of demons decided it was getting dull and blew up the rock. But the screams of torture are still there..." said Kiri. She sighed. "I guess I shouldn't have worn this dress. Stupid humans have to have a different dress code for every season."
"It's rather interesting. I enjoy changing my clothes every once in a while and bathing. You don't?" Sophia raised an eyebrow sipping her drink again.
"I change my clothes. It's just annoying that humans are such wimps they can't wear dresses like this in winter," said Kiri. The two of them were attracting a lot of stares, partly because of Kiri's dress, and partly because they were both inhumanly pretty.
"You never mentioned your bathing habits." Sophia pointed out nibbling on her Cookie *tis a cookie now*. She noticed all of the humans glancing around at them. "Even though, do you not acknowledge that the dress is rather unusual even for a demon to wear in Winter?"
"Why? It's not that cold and I like this dress." One guy looked like he was about to get up and approach their table bravely, so Kiri looked him in the eyes, giving him a glare so full of evil and murderous intent he sat right back down again, a terrified expression on his face. She smiled smugly at his reaction.
"Now, now, Demon. Don't scare them." Sophia tutted smiling at the poor man returning terrified to his seat.
"Why not?" asked Kiri with an evil grin. "I am a demon."
"Well, I am an angel and I'm inclined to stop your evilness by right of the Council of Lumini." Sophia said simply.
Was Kiri being threatened? She hated that Council, and everything they stood for. Stupid, organised meddlers. Instead of answering the angel directly, Kiri caught the eye of the four people at the table nearest them. She glared at each of them, fire burning in her eyes, using her demonic power until they all scurried for the door.
*what the hell could I do??? Lol, im stuck! Blast your ears with Harp music? XD*
*well if you can't think of anythign to do, something can happen outside on the street to distract us or something ^^*
"So, how did you wind up here Demon? On Earth?" Sophia asked, irritated at her evil ways.
"To put it simply, I was bored," Kiri replied. "And I do have a name. Call me Kiri."
"I'd say I was pleased to meet you Kiri. Though I haven't at all decided yet. Sophia, is my name." Sophia said nibbling on the cookie almost halfway finished.
"Likewise," said Kiri warily. "So what made you decide to leave Heaven?"
