~I would have thought that you would have started it the first week of classes.~ josh said as he finished his bite of food and snagged a blue berry off Lawrence’s plate.

~Blueberry thief. Nah, it starts next week. Kinda weird, but okay!~ Lawrence finished up the last of the food on his plate.

~mwhahah I am the great blueberry thief fear me.~ josh raised his fork and smiled evilly. Snagging a piece of food of his plate he said. ~so what are we to do today? Or did you have some home work?~

~I don't have any major homework, no...I'd rather not do work today. We should do something fun.~ Lawrence was smiling.

“Well you know what we can and can’t do around here better than I do.” Josh said around a bite of food. “Wonder what the dean thinks of me behaving.”

"I don't really know what to do," Lawrence admitted, yawning. He was bored. "Maybe take a walk or something..."

“Are we allowed into town, I think the dean forgot to tell me on that one. Maybe he thought that I would be in trouble on the first day so there was no need to tell me the rules about going into town.” Licking the syrup off the plate he smiled at Lawrence.

"We can go into town when school hours aren't in effect," Lawrence informed him, genially. "When they are, nope..."

"so school hours are not in effect for us so we can go into town?" Josh shivered as he got a flash of what the other two were doing. ~DID NOT NEED TO KNOW THAT!~ josh blushed as he said that.

"Yeah, sure." Lawrence got the same image, and flushed bright pink. ~EEEEKKKKKK!~ He sounded so girlish when he did that.

"that was just..... NEVER I will never ask you to do that." josh looked like he was going to be sick.

Lawrence shifted, bright red. He was terrible at hiding his thoughts, but...
"...Um...I don't think it's as bad as you think it is...just saying." That was his unspoken way of saying 'If we do get serious one day, I would not mind doing that for you.' |
josh blushed again. "you dont think it would.... it just seems..... its you know!" he could not put the idea into words without feeling dirty. "lets not talk about it now."

"I don't...I don't really see a problem with it," Lawrence repeated, eyes fixed on his feet. "As long as you practice good hygiene..."

Blushing even deeper josh turned away. “please let’s not talk about it.”

Lawrence coughed, then nodded. He perked up suddenly, and then tilted his head. "...My phone's vibrating--I can hear it." He bustled around the room, looking for it. He rarely ever used his phone, and the only people who had his number were his aunt and uncle, and Wyatt, his out-of-school friend.

looking around josh tried to hear it. "I dont hear it, how can you?"picking up some of the items around the room he tried to help Lawrence find his phone. "and who would be calling it?"

"My aunt or uncle. Or Wyatt. Ah-ha!" Lawrence pulled the phone out from under his bed and flipped it open.
"Hello?" He paused, listening to the person on the other end. "Hi, Wyatt." |
sighing josh flopped back onto the bed. he sounded happy to hear from this Wyatt guy, wounder who he is to Lawrence. wounder what he wants at this time of day.

"...? I was going to go into town, yeah, and bring my new boyfriend with me." Having expected Wyatt's reaction, Lawrence held the phone away from his ear to avoid a loud, high-pitched squeal, followed by amused giggles. He brought the phone back to him. "Yeah, yeah...I know what you want already. Don't injure him." He paused, then glanced at Josh and mouthed 'Where should we go in town?'

“I don’t know the town, remember mom dropped me off on the first day and I run into you. Have not been to town yet dear.” Ah that Wyatt, blinking josh tried to think about what he could want Wyatt could want with him. “why?”

Lawrence gave a great sigh, and muttered to Wyatt to hold on. He set the phone down, then glanced at Josh. "He wants to make sure you're not some dirty old pervert trying to constantly get your hands down my pants." He said it so bluntly. "That, and he wants to fawn over us like some...schoolgirl."

"oh great, one might thing that he wants to play fairy godmother." josh sighed. "and why would I want CONSTANTLY to get my hands down your pants?"

"Dunno. Wyatt always thinks like that. He's overprotective of me, because he claims I'm 'bespectacled jailbait.'" Lawrence grinned a bit. "I guess we could go for a walk in the mall nearby...what do you think?"

"sure." then josh remembered that he had a present for Lawrence. "you know I never did give you your gift that I had made for you." getting up Josh walked over and opened his dresser.
