“ is it because you stay up all night playing games?” William smiled and walked back down stairs with them. “I am glad your feeling a bit better Lawrence. I was worried there when we brought you here last night.”

“you are not odd compared to Nester… unless Nester has found hair dye and dyed it black.” Nester had rainbow hair. No one was sure how that had happened but his hair never really stayed a natural color. It always showed through. Some say his mother cursed him knowing that she would die in the birth and wanted to get back at his father who had cheated on her while she was carrying him.

Wyatt rushed into the kitchen and wrapped his arms around Aric's waist. "Shakespeare. Food time." He then studied him more closely. "You're not wearing that pretty pink apron I bought you," he noted, frowning.

Aric grinned sheepishly. "Heh...I'll get your food in a minute. Go on out to the living room."

Lawrence nodded, heading back out to the den, where Hirsch was still violently destroying zombies.

"We have convinced him to keep his hair covered up with a hood and a hat in public," Shadow explained. Then, he scowled. "I, for one, will not wear a hat in public. I'll wear a hood, but hats give me hat hair...and I hate hat hair. ...That was some fancy alliteration." He shook his head. "I'm not awake yet. Explain your issue, please..."

Leaning against the counter William watched the other two go back to the living room. “Hay thanks for letting me and Tzal stay here. It was either here or a hotel and well I don’t like sleeping in a place like that. Anyhow Lawrence was here and I wanted to talk to him.”

“you never looked good in hats any ways.” Angelo say down and waved to a comfortable chair nearby for shadow to sit in. slowly he told the tail of how he had gotten matched to Hirsch and then what he had done. When he finished he handed the letter over to shadow for him to read. “it seems I gained your streak of worrying. It’s been some time since last we saw each other and I have just gotten worse.”

Waking up Adam starched and smiled at Termad. “Good morning lover, or I am guessing it is morning. Thank you for the lovely night last night.”

"No problem. Always nice for Wyatt to have friends over. When he's bored and lonely, he takes it out on me. I've seen more nonstop play-throughs of video games than the normal person..." Aric informed him, shuddering. "Gah..."

Shadow frowned, then reached over and lightly tugged on Angelo's ear. "Do not become like me--a bitter old man with no faith in anything anymore," he half-teased. "And you should probably go and talk to him. Writing a letter means you just don't want to face him. Which you're going to have to do anyway."

"Welcome...now go back to bed," Termad muttered, half-teasing. He wasn't awake yet, and he wanted more sleep.

“well this way I don’t go and kill Angelo. He pissed me off one to many times in the last few days.” William looked around the kitchen and sighed. “so how did you learn how to cook?”

“I can’t stop worrying about everything though. No matter what I do I think of all the different ways it could be used to get at me and kill me or those I love. It has been a while since the last man I had and he was last kissed by madam the guillotine.” Angelo smiled a sad smile. “What happened to the days I was so care free and ready to do anything?”

“oh no not going back to bed. You may not have to eat but I do and I am going to go make myself something to eat.” Adam pushed himself up from the bed.

"I had to, for Wyatt. I didn't plan on taking him in when I first found him, but I guess something struck me about him. I just couldn't leave him there." Aric held out William's plate. "There's yours. Now, the others' should be finished soon..."

Shadow kissed his cheek. "You need to learn to let go. I had to learn the hard way, and so do you. Go talk to him."

"Suit yourself..." Termad yawned, curling back up.

“so, you just fell in love with Wyatt.” William smiled and took a bite of the food. “ok your hired, can I now keep you?”

Wrapping his arms around Shadow Angelo sighed. “Your right shadowmoor. At least I am doing it at a younger age then you did.” stepping away from Shadowmoor he smiled. “thank for coming and talking to me. You should come more often.”

About half an hour latter Adam came in with trays of food. He had cooked up a couple different dishes that he had liked and thought that maybe Termad would like. Most of them would be fine if they cooled but were best warm. “so sleepy head I have breakfast.”

Aric frowned. "Uh...he was kinda a kid when I took him in, so no. I'm not that kind of guy." At the comment about his cooking, he grinned. "You guys can stay here, you know, if you get the dean's permission. I can drive you in to school."

Shadow patted his back before also stepping away. "I'll come when you like, but not every day. We are both busy." Shadow, who had no patience for teaching so many young mages how to control their powers, had declined to help Angelo teach. He was afraid he would lose his temper and go off on students.

Termad sat up at once. Typical male...loved food. "Hooray!"

“You know there are more than one type of love. The Greeks were the ones to name them.” he sighed happily eating the food. “And if someone would just give me a car I could drive us all to school. I have a license and a good record.”

“Well then I have a house to go to that is going to be full of men ready for my head.” Closing his eyes Angelo set up the spell needed to get to the gates of Wyatts house. “Wish me luck.”

“Thought you would wake up if I brought you something good and edible.” Adam set the tray down over Termad’s lap. “So I cooked up a little bit of everything I could think of. If you don’t like it I will eat it.”

"I'm afraid I, as a responsible parent-figure, can't do that. But ask Wyatt. He spends his money recklessly..." Aric muttered, amused.

Shadow stepped forward and gave him a final hug. "I will see you later." With that, he disappeared.

Termad ate his food easily. It seemed that for a spoiled ruler, he wasn't picky when it came to food.

William smiled. “no no I did not mean that you should give me a car. I am just saying if I could get the money for a car I would get one and I would not have to worry about someone else driving me.” William looked out to the living room. “I could never ask someone to buy me a car.”

Smiling Angelo also disappeared from the room to appear at the bottom of the drive to Wyatts place. Slowly walking up he walked through the gate and up to the door.

“Do you really like my cooking?” Adam watched Termad closely. He wanted him to be happy and pleased with him.

"Wyatt likes to spend his money, so don't go mentioning that around him or he will go buy you a car," Aric warned as he piled everyone else's food up on a large tray.

Hirsch was still murdering zombies with a cold, emotionless look on his face.

"I like it!" Termad exclaimed.

“I will have to remember that when I am around him then.” Watching Aric pile the tray up William said. “Would you like some help with that? I don’t mind carrying some of it.” At that moment there was a knock at the door.

Smiling Adam let out the breath he had not known he was holding. “It fills me with joy to hear that you like my cooking.”

"Oh, heavens..." Aric paused, then held out the tray once he finished placing everything on it. "Would you mind taking this out and setting it on the table? Everyone will know whose food is whose..." He wanted to go answer the door.

Termad giggled happily. "That's good!"

“nope do not mind at all.” William carefully carried the tray out to the table and set it down. “well everyone breakfast is here.” Standing up he walked back to the kitchen to get the last of his meal.

Angelo stood waiting there patiently for someone to answer the door. When Aric opened it he smiled. “I am here to speak to Hirsch, if he would speak with me that is.”

“so what are you to do today?” Adam asked as he laid back down next to Termad. “do you have more of the same thing planed or can we do something different?”

"Errr...you might wanna either wait a bit or take him to a different room. They're all in the middle of eating, and I don't want food thrown around the den," Aric replied, apologetically. "Up to you."

Wyatt pounced on the strawberry, heavily-sugared and syruped waffles Aric had made for him.

"We can go have fun today! I have nothing to do," Termad replied, brightly.

“I think it would be wise if you had him talk to me, if he wants, in a different room. I would like it if I did not have an audience.” Angelo said.

Behind them William stopped then sighed. ~looks like cruly is here to see Hirsch.”

“so if you were wanting to impress someone, or take them out on a date what would you do?” Adam said as he snagged a piece of food and nibbled on it.

Aric glanced at William, behind them. "Hey...kid. Could you do me a favor and get Hirsch up to one of the guest rooms for a moment? So they can talk?"

"Do something wild and exciting, like skydiving," Termad informed him, pleasantly.

“its William and yes I can do that.” Returning to the den he walked over to Hirsch. Bending down he carefully spoke so no one else could hear him. “Angelo is here to see you, Aric asked that we go up to one of the guest bed rooms to speak.”

“never have done skydiving before.” Adam nodded and smiled. “I would love to go skydiving with you, but I will need a change of clothes and a bath.”

Immediately, Hirsch's reaction was as Aric feared it would be. A bitter look crossed his face, and he shoved some more of his pancakes in his mouth so he had a reason to ignore William.

"Bathroom's over theeeeeere..." Termad pointed to the bathroom. "And you can try some of my big clothes." Termad was really skinny.

“so your going to be this way? Do you know how much trouble both me, Vinny and my lovely Tzal had to do to get him to come here?” William was not happy that he was acting this way. Now he was going to have to tell Angelo that his mate was acting childish and stupid.

Getting up Adam smiled. “and which pile is the big clothes?”

"I'm eating, in case you haven't noticed," Hirsch replied, loftily, once he swallowed. "Let me eat and then I'll think about it."

Termad looked around and then pointed to a pile in the back of the room.

“Alright then I will take him up stairs to one of the guest rooms.” William nodded and walked back the way he had come. He would take Angelo up the stairs and he would find a room to leave him in. but he was not going to wait with him for Hirsha.

“I am sorry to have brought this upon your house. I had not meant to drive him here, or anywhere for that matter.” Angelo said as they waited for Hirsha.

“ah thanks.” Going over he picked out a few shirts and pants that Adam thought would fit him then walked to the bath room. “want to join me or just wait for me?”

"Fine." Hirsch kept eating, ravenously.

"It's fine, it's fine. I like having guests over," Aric chuckled, scratching his head.

"I'd better wait out here. I wanna go skydiving, so any other sort of exercise shouldn't be done," Termad giggled.

“well I was more of thinking the upset part. I can see why you would like to have guest over here with how nice you place is.” Angelo said then saw William walking up. “so is he going to talk?” William surged his shouldes the nodded up to stairs. “well it was nice to meet you again and I hope that we can work this out so that your not stuck with grumpy people.”

“I was not thinking of anything other then you might want to come in and talk to me while I was showering.” Adam smiled and walked into the bath room.
