I can't protect you from them, Iri said with a sigh. They are very powerful and allies to your bloodline. I could fight them but the alliance would be broken and you would rather not be on their bad side. They do not know of you yet, they will in time but my guess is they do not know yet seeing has the high council hasn't contacted me. Her attention then went to the game for a moment before she thought, I've been there, it's not really anything new for me.

"It follows one person through history, though..." Razz informed her, pointedly, as he continued playing. "It's not about the time period...it's about following that person's history, and living their life." He paused. "I really don't care what they do as long as they don't interfere with my life, and leave me alone, for the most part..."

ISOS Duke 06-22-2010 03:37 AM

Iri was silent for a moment; she would have asked if he was important or something but a part of her told her that he may not appreciate the questioning. Rather she watched in silence as she watched him play for a few moments. She knew what the truth was and a part of her didn't really want to do this, but she knew that Razz didn't want the future that was slowly starting to make its way before him. If I leave soon it will take the high council a while to realize I was ever gone. Long enough for you to live out your life, no matter how extended your bloodline makes it. The longer I am away from the saloon the higher the chance they will find out about you and the sooner the other demon lords will come to you.

Mira-Charma13 06-22-2010 03:40 AM

"Let 'em come." Razz's voice was solemn, caustic. "Let them try to wrench my life away from me. I'm not going anywhere. I don't care how powerful they are, and I don't care how badly they want to take my life away from me. I'm not going anywhere."

ISOS Duke 06-22-2010 03:45 AM

Iri smirked as she thought, Your father must have been my Sire. He acted very much the same way. She seemed more relaxed at this point, even if it was just a little bit. And as for taking your life away, the wouldn't do that. It will not be long now; maybe a few years, and they will start coming. If your powers have not come in at that time then they will protect you. They may even urge you to return to the kingdom and palace that your family once owned and ruled over many nations from.

Mira-Charma13 06-22-2010 03:48 AM

Razz huffed, mowing down a few more helpless virtual animals. "I don't want anything to do with them, or their petty issues. I'm comfortable where I am, thanks, and I'm staying put..." He seemed irrevocably stubborn--quite pigheaded. It seemed that when he was really set on something, there was little that would make him budge.

ISOS Duke 06-22-2010 03:52 AM

Iri's tone was growing solemn at the topic. It really was like talking to her old Sire at times. You may not have a choice, she thought bluntly. This dimension is not safe for the numbers that could begin massing here. Not all will be allies. They will come to help you but the enemies of my Sire will wish you harm and they too will come. That kingdom is one of the, of not the safest place for anyone of supernatural descent.

Mira-Charma13 06-22-2010 03:56 AM

"Nah, I'm still not moving," Razz retorted matter-of-factly. "I'm staying right here, at least until I finish school. Then I'm going to Europe..." He seemed set on this map of life for himself.

ISOS Duke 06-22-2010 04:01 AM

Suit yourself, though I warn you, while there is much I can do, I cannot protect you against so many powerful lords, Iri said finally giving in with a sigh. She then fell silent as she merely watched what Razz did on the game. It didn't really seem all that interesting still; but then again the demon had never been all that interested in individual humans.

Mira-Charma13 06-22-2010 04:04 AM

"Fine..." Razz's voice sounded tired, annoyed. "I don't care...if I'm gonna die, then I'm gonna die..." He kept on playing, seeming to find the game interesting. He said nothing more.

ISOS Duke 06-24-2010 01:22 AM

Iri couldn't really saying anything to that at that point. She had warned him as much as she could with him acting like this. Definitly like him, she sighed in her head as she watched the game. He was really getting into it; a part of her wished that he could get into his 'new' life as much as this. There were many other humans that would wish for this to happen to them, it was just so weird; it wasn't natural.

Mira-Charma13 06-24-2010 01:28 AM

After a few moments, Razz saved the game and turned it off, standing up. He trudged over to Tzal's bed and collapsed in it, curling up. He and Tzal did not mind sharing the same bed--it meant he didn't have to go and set up another place to sleep.

ISOS Duke 06-24-2010 01:44 AM

Then again you can't just shut it off, Iri then thought to herself as she watched the screen go blank. There wasn't really much to look at and being a demon, she didn't really have to sleep. It was at times like these that she didn't know what to do, especially when around humans. Razz was still quiet; she wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not anymore, especially after the earlier display. Would he rather not have known? Not have known then one day have his powers working? She wasn't sure, humans were so confusing.

Mira-Charma13 06-24-2010 01:45 AM

Razz didn't look like he planned on sleeping. Instead, he just relaxed in bed, eyes still open. He seemed to be daydreaming, thinking quite deeply, perhaps...

ISOS Duke 06-24-2010 02:41 AM

What to do now, Iri pondered in the silence. She had a feeling that it wouldn't take the high council to realize that she was no longer in her 'prison'. It would take a few years maybe longer, she didn't know for sure. For her it didn't feel like a long time but she wondered what it felt like to Razz. the purple rings slowly faded as Iri materialized, laying beside the boy on the bed.

Mira-Charma13 06-24-2010 02:43 AM

Razz shifted his gaze to his fingers, which were pushing together and pulling apart, slowly, over and over again. A few years was a long time to Razz. He only needed a year or so more to get out of school. Speaking of school...

He'd forgotten to do most of his studying for the night. He didn't seem to care, really...

ISOS Duke 06-24-2010 02:49 AM

Iri didn't say anything to the boy as she watched his actions. She wasn't sure what she could say that could possibly help. Like she had told Tzal, she was going to be rather bias. Instead she rolled onto her belly, her arms folded under her as she rested her head on them. Her eyes blinked slowly as she tried to figure out what he was thinking; he was blocking her or something though. Most people were easy to read but it seemed since Razz found out about his powers he had been blocking like no other.

Mira-Charma13 06-24-2010 02:59 AM

Razz put his arms up over his head, eyes squeezed shut. He was having a hard time at the moment--still emotionally unstable, because of all that was happening--and that much caused any mental shield around his mind to crumble, immediately. All that stress needed somewhere to get out.

ISOS Duke 06-24-2010 03:09 AM

"I can go if you like," Iri whispered once again as she was hit with a wave of emotions. Her voice was soft, quiet, almost like a dog that knew it was in trouble. Her brows furrowed together as she hid the lower half of her face behind her arms once again. She couldn't even say that she hated that about humans at the moment seeing as this one was getting to her just by being upset and she wasn't quite sure why.

Mira-Charma13 06-24-2010 03:11 AM

"No, no...if someone or something comes, there's no way I'm dealing with it alone." Razz's voice was quiet, unhappy. Very unhappy...

ISOS Duke 06-24-2010 03:19 AM

Iri sighed slightly though she didn't lift her head from her arms. "They don't know of you yet. If I go they won't know of your existance until long after you have passed." Her eyes were locked onto the blankets in front of her now instead of on the boy. She wasn't used to someone being calm when they were clearly this upset so she was just going to be careful with what she said.

Mira-Charma13 06-24-2010 03:23 AM

"I don't even know if I'll grow up like a normal human, now--what if I never die? Then that's a moot point...I don't even know, or care, anymore...all I know is that I'm not facing anything alone..."

ISOS Duke 06-24-2010 03:25 AM

"You're only half demon, if you manage to not die then it's a miricale. As for how you'll grow up, not even I know that," Iri said relaxing a bit as she rolled onto her back, her hands clasped on her stomach. "I'm a demon, I know how demons grow up. Humans, not so much. Your lives all seem rather boring if you ask me so I never took much care into learning every little and possible detail."

Mira-Charma13 06-24-2010 03:38 AM

Razz groaned, and rolled over, facing away from her. "I don't want any technical talk..." he muttered. "...I'd better study..." He shuffled out of bed for a moment and then returned with one of his books. He flipped it open to the correct page and began to study.

ISOS Duke 06-24-2010 02:31 PM

Iri nodded before shying away, in a sense. She tucked her body into a slight ball, her eyes remaining fixed on the boy as he moved. She tried to keep her breathing quiet so that it didn't disturb him seeing as he was getting more and more irritated with her. It was like she was doing everything wrong. It hadn't been like that when she first met her old Sire so she wasn't sure why it was happening now. She knew her job though and she was very good at it; it just seemed like her skills were not wanted nor were they needed.
