Iri's spirit quickly vanished into the ring once again causing it to glow. Hmm, maybe not as interesting as I once thought, her voice then cooed into Razz's mind. Through the ring she was catching glimpses of the work that the boy had taken from his friend. Is such work supposed to be difficult for your kind? You definitly seem quite far behind from other races. Numbers and logistics ran through her mind, mathmatics from many different era, dimensions, and worlds all passed through her mind. These she understood, but the sciences and histories of this kind that may prove interesting and new to the female.

Mira-Charma13 05-19-2010 03:48 AM

It's not difficult for most people. But it's difficult for me, Razz amended, quite amused.

Tzalmon didn't say a single word as they walked back to their homeroom. Once there, however, he noticed a couple of boys standing outside that he didn't particularly like--ones that often made fun of him and Razz--and his bright, intimidating eyes narrowed minutely.

Razz chewed his lip a bit. ...You wanted to know why I'm not as terrified of you as I should be, right? Well...it's probably because of Tzalmon. He, um...isn't normal. He's...what do they call it...a psychic? If those two provoke him or me, you'll find out what I mean...

ISOS Duke 05-19-2010 10:16 AM

Being a psychic and meeting one such as myself are on two completely different levels, Iri mused, clearly not too happy about Razz's reasonings. To her it felt like he was acknowledging less than what she really was. Her attention flitted to the boys close to one of the doored rooms. While she was curious as to why they would pick on Razz and Tzal she didn't ask; she was more curious to see what his so called 'psychic abilities' were. If he reacts don't be surprised if I do as well, she then warned him in a 'humped' sort of hum.

Mira-Charma13 05-19-2010 10:46 AM

...What I mean to say is that psychics are just as rare in our world as...demons...are? You are a demon, right? Unless you're a ghost...either or, still rare in our world. Rare meaning we don't see them too often, Razz clarified. I don't mind if you react, just...keep it toned down, okay? Please? And quiet...the halls are crowded. You do want to get through this school day, right? He suddenly trailed off as one of the boys noticed him and Tzalmon.

Tzalmon's gaze didn't waver when he walked over, but he stumbled backwards when the boy shoved him and called him a few choice names, then shoved him again. He snickered and walked off, towards the water fountain nearby.

Tzalmon's eyes narrowed a bit more. As the boy leaned down for a drink, the water fountain suddenly busted. It sprayed water, with great force, in the boy's face and all over him. Razz probably didn't feel it, but a peculiar rush of power radiated off of Tzalmon as this happened.

ISOS Duke 05-19-2010 10:53 AM

((XD And here I am thinking I'm crazy for being up this early XD))

What could Iri do other than laugh at Razz's comment? That's what she did though. Ghosts are a rarity? I am not sure what rock you humans are living under but ghosts are about as common as the feezlebub on Fyamora and believe me those irritating creatures are everywhere. Her voice was filled with disdane, she really did not like those beasts. She wasn't quite sure how to break that down for a human quite yet, but it didn't seem to matter as a wave of power washed over her. The glowing veins on the ring shuddered much as Iri would have in person. So he does have power, she chimmed more to herself than to Razz though the connection was open. Something tells me that he is holding back however. At this point, reacting wasn't really on her mind, she was more interested in this boy and his power.

Mira-Charma13 05-19-2010 11:03 AM

(( :D Normally I wouldn't be up this early, but...I got up to go to school and felt like complete crap--I'm attempting to get over a double ear infection and a sinus infection combined. Now I can't get back to sleep. So here I am!))

Razz paused. I know they're there and all...but trust me. It's very difficult for most of us to see or hear ghosts, unless they put forth a giant amount of effort. Tzalmon claims he can see them pretty easily, but I don't know...is it a side-effect of his power? He doesn't seem to notice you, though. He'd probably like you...

Tzalmon turned to Razz like nothing just happened. In fact, he looked rather bored. "Shall we continue on to class, Razz?"

Razz perked up. "Yeah...I need to get this homework copied..." he recalled, sheepishly.

Tzalmon nodded, blankly. A teacher passing by noticed his hood up and snapped at him to put it down. Grudingly, he lowered his hood to reveal a pale face. His eyes look brighter than before. He had smooth jet black hair that was spiked slightly at the top of his head, and there was a very small braided ponytail going down the back of his neck.

ISOS Duke 05-19-2010 11:31 AM

((Oh geez that bites! I hope it all clears up soon for ya! I normally wouldn't be up but first day of work, a tad nervous and I was afraid if I went back to bed after my boyfriend left that I wouldn't get up in time XD))

You are not ever aware of who I am so who is to say that he would like me or not? Iri snapped back at Razz. She hated how humans always came to assumptions, it seemed to be one of their major downfalls at times. And he sees me only if I wish him to, at least that was how it worked with most humans. The demoness had never dealt with those with abilities so she was not sure what they were capable of, what level of power they had. The teacher passed by and Tzal lowered his hood, a since of relief seemed to flow through the ring. Well there it is, she said to herself. I had only thought that things such as those were mere legends and myths among humans though it may appear that they are true. The darker haired girl didn't seem to be all the suprised that the simple lowering of the hood had caused, though there were bits and pieces that intriguied her.

Mira-Charma13 05-19-2010 11:38 AM

((I hope so, too. D:...Your first day? Good luck!))

I don't believe I was being rude, so don't snap at me, please...it was only a suggestion. I just think you'd like him. He shares a lot of the views I've seen and heard from you, so far... Razz calmly took a seat at his desk--he and Tzalmon were sitting right near each other. He quickly retrieved his notebook from his bag and began to copy the homework his friend had given him.

Tzalmon stared off into space for a moment, then glanced at Razz. It was at this point he noticed the ring on his finger. His brow furrowed as he studied it. Apparently, he was a little more sensitive to odd bursts of powers than he let on.

ISOS Duke 05-19-2010 11:42 AM

Iri fell silent, only listening to what Razz had to say. She would humor him on his thoughts about herself and Tzal getting along. The blonde finally sat down and began copying the homework he had gotten earlier and his friend took an interest in his ring. She ignored it though, after all, if people took the time to see it they would look too. She had learned from experience that humans were a rather easy race to distract. Fazing back out to her ghost-like appearance she practically hovered in front of Razz's desk as she propped her elbows up on it. "Does all of your kind choose to steal the work done by others or is it just a lazy trait that only a few pick up?"

Mira-Charma13 05-19-2010 11:47 AM

Thanks to, ahem, someone, I was out later last night than I wanted to be to finish my project. His tone was amused, joking--he had a slight grin on his face. So I didn't have time to finish this work. I knew Tzal would have it done. I don't usually do this, but considering how late I was out last night...we do need sleep, after all. And I thought I would fall asleep with my face in my math book if I tried doing it myself...

Tzalmon eyed the ring with evident curiosity, but said nothing for a moment. He felt a strange power coming from it. "...Where did you get that ring? It has a strange power coming off of it."

Razz didn't pause in his work, but looked at a loss for words. "Uh..."

ISOS Duke 05-19-2010 11:52 AM

Looking over to Razz's friend she eyed him for a moment before waving a hand towards the ring and pretty much pulling the rest of herself out so that the veins were gone. While it would still hold power seeing as it was some of her own power in physical form, it wouldn't contain all that was her. The demon's attention then went back to Razz, her face rather bored as she said, "Well you shouldn't have been there in the first place."

Mira-Charma13 05-19-2010 11:55 AM

Razz frowned a bit. I got stuck with your saloon for my project. I wanted to do my project on the art museum we have in this city, but the topic was taken before I could ask for it...I chose my topic a little late. It looked interesting, compared to other dull places here, so I took the chance...what was I supposed to do--a report on a boring old office building or something?

Tzalmon didn't press Razz anymore about the ring, though he still seemed suspicious.

ISOS Duke 05-19-2010 11:59 AM

"You were obviously aware of the fact that something was going on there so it was your own fault you were the one that took the risk when you accepted the assignment," Iri said, finding it rather obvious and therefore boring to discuss. She then moved over to Tzal's desk and sat at on, her ghostly apperition finding herself quite comfortable not to mention she was interested in seeing just how powerful this boy was. Her eyes slid over to him, he obviously knew something was up.

Mira-Charma13 05-19-2010 12:01 PM

It was the only interesting place left. So I went for it... Razz finished his homework and handed it back to Tzalmon with a smile. "Thank you so much...you're probably the reason I'm not failing Trig right now...you and your tutoring."

Tzalmon scoffed slightly, amused, and glanced around the room, still feeling like there was something there. But, he couldn't tell what, exactly.

ISOS Duke 05-19-2010 12:05 PM

"But interesting doesn't always mean safe," Iri said tapping a finger lightly to her chin. "Though I do hardly condone copying as tutoring..." She then muttered before looking to Tzal. He seemed on guard still, yet no the more wiser. "Oh well that's rather disappointing," she said aloud though it was more to herself than anything. After being alone as long as she had one would learn to talk to themselves with out really meaning to.

Mira-Charma13 05-19-2010 12:09 PM

Interesting almost never means safe. It was a risk I was willing to take. I just didn't expect to be out so late, Razz replied, yawning and stretching a bit. I don't copy his stuff, usually. He often comes over to my house to tutor me for math-related subjects. I suck at math--I'm not even going to lie...I'm more for creative, interesting stuff. Art...music...history.

Tzalmon was squinting a bit, looking around the room and trying to focus. He was used to dealing with ghosts, but he'd only ever seen a demon once before in his life, so he wasn't used to detecting them, it seemed...

ISOS Duke 05-19-2010 12:13 PM

"So that's where your talents lie then is it?" The demon asked as she casually crossed her legs before turning to face Tzal more. She watched him for a moment, taking in what he was doing and decifering it in her mind. "You know you should be proud that I'm not doing anything to mess with your friend other than sitting here," she stated bluntly, her eyes rolling to the side to look at the keeper of the ring.

Mira-Charma13 05-19-2010 12:23 PM

He'd probably find it interesting if you messed with him. He's into the supernatural and all that...plus, he's weird. Heh, not that I'm one to talk, anyway...'weird' becomes affectionate when we use the word on each other... To prove his point, Razz poked Tzalmon in the arm. "You're weird."

"Thank you." Tzal didn't even hesitate in his response. He reached out, idly, to touch the ring on Razz's finger. And all of a sudden, he stared directly at Iri...almost as if he could see her, or a mist of some kind in her place.

ISOS Duke 05-19-2010 12:27 PM

Iri let out a giggle-like laugh as her eyes locked with Tzal's bright red orbs. "Just remember that you gave me permission," she hummed to Razz before an idea started swirling around her mind. Within moments her own figure was gone and in replace as a large, fanged demon's face. It's bright yellow eyes and teeth materialized first than the rest of its hideous shape. To many humans it could look like a mix of an ogre and orc, but she wasn't sure. "Finding anything interesting boy?" The gruff voice said to the red eyed male. Then just as quickly as it appeared, the head rolled and the mist was gone. Iri then rematerialized sitting and leaning back slightly on Razz's desk. "Can't completely satisfy him," she then told him considering it wasn't a large display of her ability.

Mira-Charma13 05-19-2010 12:32 PM

Tzal was very still, watching this all happening. He stayed like that for a moment, then glanced at Razz. "I didn't know you had an inhuman friend," he declared, quite pointedly, but quietly. "You are normally a complete wuss when it comes to the supernatural."

Razz groaned, putting his head down on his desk. "Thaaaanks...I feel so confident about myself."

ISOS Duke 05-19-2010 12:38 PM

"You're right, I do like this boy," Iri laughed as she watched Razz's reaction. Her eyes then fell to Tzal as she opened up a channel for him to listen in as well. Oh believe me he was not this calm last night when he stumbled upon me that is for sure. It is such a pity that his camera didn't quite keep what it had caught though. Yup, she planned on making everything much better, but of course that was just how Iri was; at times she seemed like your greatest ally but then at other times she acted as though she would tear you apart.

Mira-Charma13 05-19-2010 12:42 PM

Tzal seemed to have no problem speaking mentally. We can't have him failing his project, now...at least allow a shadow or some mist to appear on the video, or our teacher will fail him... Tzal yawned, politely.

That teacher hates my guts, Razz whined mournfully. If I don't have at least something...SPLAT. There goes my poor grade...

ISOS Duke 05-19-2010 12:44 PM

"And when would this project be due might I ask?" The girl asked as she pondered possible ideas. "I'm sure I could manage to pull something together." Of course that something could mean something completely different to herself than it would a human. Though she was speaking out loud, the demon refused to give up her appearance to the red eyed boy. She would at least keep that much to herself at the moment.

Mira-Charma13 05-19-2010 12:50 PM

It's due in exactly a week and a half. Tzal has his done, already...he did his on a historic building not far from the saloon. The old Arlington house, if you know it? It's where that guy killed his family and hung himself in the 1800s... Razz mumbled, lifting his head up. Class would start soon.

Tzalmon pulled his book out for this particular class, which was English.

ISOS Duke 05-19-2010 12:55 PM

Iri waved her hand before saying, "Yes, yes, I know of the stories but the so called ghosts there are not of his family. They really are just a bunch of hog wash, wandering spirits and loving a good story to hide their acts behind they nestled there." She then rubbed her temples with her fore fingers. "I know far more spirits here than you probably had any idea were around my dear boy." Though the demon watched as the boys' attention seemed to be taken elsewhere, she really wasn't concerned. From the looks of the book this class would be a rather uninsightful one. "As for your project, you need not to worry."
