Ariana was curious about the man. "So, why were you here in the first place?" she asked.

Andris laughed. "Because you're interesting. I like to follow interesting humans, see what they do and how they do it. It's fun."

Ariana laughed as well. "Humans? Why? What are you? An elf? A werewolf?" she asked as she laughed, looking up at him.

"Vampire, as you humans call us," Andris answered, opening his mouth in a wide smile to expose his fangs.

'What a crazy freak...' Ariana told herself. She quickly stood up and headed for the door.

"Going already? I just sat down," Andris protested, wiggling his feet in the water.

"Yeah, well, you're a creep!" she said as she slammed the door.

Andris sighed and looked down at the water with a frown. Well, it wasn't like he could charm every girl. But her behavior made her that much more appealing. He got to his feet and pulled his shoes back on before turning to look up at the house. Now, which window could be her room...

Ariana didn't talk to anyone, but she just went straight upstairs. She turned on the radio and changed into her pajamas, slowly laying down. She shut her eyes tightly and tried going to sleep.

Andris soon spotted a hint of movement up in the far right window of the second floor. He could slightly hear the sound of music turn on as well. He smiled and headed toward the house. In a matter of seconds he had scaled the wall and was now clinging to the short ledge of her window by his sharp nails. He looked around inside and spotted her laying in her bed, already dressed in her night clothes. He tapped lightly on the window and waited.

Ariana heard a slight tapping noise on the window. 'You're just hearing things...go to bed.' she told herself. She yawned and closed her eyes again to go to sleep.

Andris frowned and tapped again, a little louder this time. He knew she couldn't have gone to sleep that quickly. No human could.

Ariana looked at the window and glared. She took a piece of paper and wrote "go away" on it and held it up to the window. She was tired of him creeping on her and she needed rest.

Andris grinned and mouthed the word "No" in reply. He tapped on the window and pointed up, signaling for her to open it.

Ariana sighed and cracked open the window. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" she yelled.

Andris screwed his eyes shut for a moment, cursing his over sensitive sense of sound. Then he opened his eyes and grinned again, lifting himself up with ease to swing his legs over the window sill. "Calm down, miss. You don't want to cause an uproar, do you?" he teased.

Ariana put her head under her pillow. "I do!" she yelled muffled.

Andris laughed and slid off the window, stepping over to stand beside her bed. "You're funny," he commented. He looked around the room once, then back at her. "You in high school?"

Ariana shook her head and shrugged. "Nope, just graduated." she said.

"Really? You look awfully young. How old are you?" Andris asked.

Ariana laid back down and sighed. "I'm eighteen. You?" she asked.

"Nearly 50. But I usually go by 21. Do you plan on living here with your parents for a while?"

Ariana poked her head out and shook it. 'Eeeew...he's fifty...' she thought. She shook her head. "Pfft, yeah right! As if I could stand living here!"

"Where would you like to move to, if you had the chance?" Andris asked as he went over to her dresser, pulling open the top drawer a little to look inside. Hmm, interesting little undergarmets...

Ariana closed her eyes for a bit and when she opened them, she saw him going through her drawers. She quickly jumped up and closed it, then leaned back against it. "What the hell?" she said. "Uh...yeah? I guess..."
