Hotaru sighed heavily as he dressed in his best clothes, today was his father’s birthday and the whole kingdom was celebrating it, he didn’t want to attend it but he had to. He just wished that Katie could be there to celebrate it with him, he looked out of his window and towards the Fairy place, wondering if she was going to have a good day or if things were going to get worse for her. He sighed heavily as he ran a hand through his blue hair, he then turned around and made his way to the forest floor where the party was being held. He could here the music playing with each step he took, drawing him closer to his fate at that moment, especially with what his father was thinking or planning at that moment.

Katie smiled and pulled the hood over her head,only the bangs of her hair were showing.She wore a long elegant dress with a dark black cloak on the back of it.She entered the gate to the kingdom and watched as the party took place on the forest floor.She wandered over to it and watched for Hotaru.

Hotaru sighed heavily as he moved over to his father, he smiled and bowed to the king, wishing him a happy birthday, his mother told him to go and dance as she and his dad walked off and began to dance themselves. He then turned around and looked at all the girls that were there, he might of had a smile on his face but on the inside he was depressed and his mind was on Katie. He walked up to a nearby girl and asked her to dance, she seemed to be delighted to be dancing with the prince. He said nothing to her as they danced, even though she was babbling to him about random things, the song ended and he let her go, turnning away and looked for someone else to dance with.

Katie walked over to Hotaru and tapped his shoulder."Care to dance?"She asked with a small smile.You could see her whole face under her hood if you looked closely.She looked up at him and blushed under the dark cloak,she had obviously missed him enough to come here since she had lied to her parents and said she was being courted by a man tonight.

"Katie?" Hotaru whispered as he got a closer look at her face, he saw that it was her and a smile came to his face that said it was real. "If Mi'lady, wishes it." he said to her, using the formal answer that he had to always give, he bowed to her before he took her into his arms and danced them around the room, a smile on his face as he kept his eyes on her, ignoring everyone else that was in there. "What are you doing here?" he whispered into her ear as he pulled her back to him after he had to swing her away from him, he was happy to see her again, and glad that she was there but he was still concerned with her safty after all he knew his dad wouldn't pass up the chance to get a hold over the Fairy kingdom.

Isaac smiled at her, "I am not suppose to be here at all. If someone by accident comes in here and sees me I could be in trouble." he said as he looked at her, "so I have to stay alert." he said as he looked at her.

Katie nodded to show it was her and began to dance with him."I wanted to see you..Anyways..I'm going to leave soon so I don't get caught."She said,looking into his eyes."My nanny brought up that the elves were having a dance for your fathers birthday..so I thought it would be the perfect time to actually see something outside of the palace."She said,looking around at everything.

"I am glad that you came, but be careful, love." Hotaru said to her as he pulled her closer to him, he then decided that now was the best time to show her around, since his father was busy with his mother. "Follow me." He said to her as he pulled her towards the largest tree that was in the center of all the others, it looked like a normal tree until you got close enough to see that there were steps that blended in with the trunk. He held her hand as he walked with her up the stairs, he was going to show her what others rarely saw, well out of the faries, he was going to show her what an elf home looked like.

"true"she said quietly.She got off the bed and stood up. She looked outside from the balcony before she turned around to face Isaac.

Isaac smiled at her and she looked beautiful with how the sun hit her. "so what would you like to do, my goddess?" he asked her

Katie followed him up the steps,wondering where he was taking her and smiled."Where are we going?"She asked,grinning and brushing her bangs out of her face."Of course I'll be careful.."She said,squeezing his hand a little in a loving way.

She thought for a while." I don't know, what do you want to do?" she asked him back.

Isaac smiled at her, "well we could sneek out of here and have some fun." he said as he looked at her

"sure, I just want to get out of here" she said softly.

Isaac smiled at her and held out a hand, "then lets get out of here." he said with a smile.

She took his hand as he began to lead them she stayed quiet.

Isaac lead her threw the palace as if they where ghosts. He passed behind people and they never heard him and even when someone was walking towards them they didnt' seem to see them. He then got to the front door and smiled at her, "you know I think this palace needs better guards."

"yea, I does" she shrugged. "no one feels like changing anything yet"she said softly.

Isaac smiled, "well they should soon." he said and lead her out of here. "now then where do you want to head in the city?" hea sked as he looked at her lovingly.

"I just want to walk around, so I don't care" she said looking back at him.

Issac nodded and smiled, "let's head to the park." he said

“Well since everyone is on the forest floor, I thought I would show you my home.” Hotaru said to her as he ran a hand through his hair, he was smiling as he continued to walk up the stairs with her. Once they reached the top, Hotaru said a couple of words in Elven, the branches or vines that were in front of them moved to make a door way. He looked at Katie as he pulled her inside, he said another word, the door closing behind her. It was beautiful to see a palace that looked as if the tree had grown like that for the royal family.

Katie looked around the room and marveled at how beautiful it was."It's amazing!"She said with a smile and looked at Hotaru,kissing his cheek."Thanks for bringing me here."She said lightly,looking at everything."It looks like you guys didn't even need to remodel it.."She said softly and looked at him."I didn't know Elves were so much closer to nature.."She said,dropping the hood of the cloak off of her head for a moment to breathe.

Hotaru smiled as she kissed his cheek, taking in everything, being amazed by the place. “I love that you like the place.” He said to her as he kissed her on the forehead, he felt - good that she liked what she saw, that she was open minded about things then most people. “Well we live far longer then most…so we feel more at one with nature. We are even vegetarians, meat is something that we rarely eat, and when we do it is only for certain things and pray for the animal‘s soul. You could say that we view nature as our parent.” He said to her as he, walked with her around the palace, keeping an eye out for anyone that might be lurking about.

She had blushed a little when he had kissed her head. "Fairies always eat meat..it's quite tireing. But my mother and I are the on ones that pray for the animals my father and his hunting group kill. . my father's sort of heartless in a way. I only see him when theres a ball of some sort.."She said quietly, letting her bangs fall over her eyes. "My father wants me to get married to one of the men in our kingdom..particually one thats in his hunting group. But, I've been stalling it since none of them are to my interest." She smirked. "A man should not have wings.." She said, referring to most of the fairy men.
