"All of you, report to your quarters. Thats an order" Rock went off to his room. He had to make sure everything was set for the next day.

Alice stormed off rather frazzled and ready to fight with anyone or anything that dared to move. She didn't go to her quarters instead she went to her hanger. She put her targets about the hanger as she thew her dagger and starts nailing each trying to get out some of her anger. After two hours of this she sunk to the floor and just sat there as she tried to figure out was she really made or scared that the monsters would get out again and hurt another person. She closed her eyes as she began to meditate to clam her self down and figure out what was really bothering her. She knew that Neon's heart was with Rock rather she would ever admit to it or not and hers was with the crazy loner who could be rather rude to her though today she wasn't any better to him. She knew she would have to apologize for her actions.

Neon wheeled her down to the hanger bay. She knew it was getting late, but she was used to late nights and had trouble sleeping if she went too early. She headed down and parked her chair in the corner, standing up. Yes, Neon could walk. Though it was a bit dangerous on her part. She took a few steps to gain balance before walking a bit better. It was still a bit of a limp. Neon headed around the corner to see Alice sitting. Neon stood a bit straighter. taking slow glances at the girl, never sure what to say.

"It is rude to stare. Didn't you learn any better Neon." Alice said in a friendly tone as she shifted her eyes and met the girls. "They said you use to be one of the best. I think you still are we'll just have to get you use to walking again that is all." She said as she rose to her feet then went about retrieving her stars and daggers. "With practice and time you'll be able to walk again you know. I read your file and doctor reports. You only need to learn how to use your legs again. Maybe Lax could help you with that you both seem so happy together. You need to start off in the water learning how to walk there though. It will cause less damage to your joints and less pain for you." She said in a clam warm tone. Masking the pain she felt as she remembered Neon and Lax in the hall way.

"Sorry, I wasn't sure how you would react to me." She said. Neon took the seat in the hall. Neon remembered with Alice first came to them. She was already in the chair at that time. Or maybe even in the hospital. She couldn't remember now. Though it did make her feel very old suddenly. She leaned her back against the wall. Listening to her advice. It was the same the doctors had told her. "I come here every day after hours. You see, I was born with Type I brittle bone disease. I deleted that from my case files a few years ago. When I had my accident, it brought me up to type two. I am slowly getting better though. Hard to tell, right?" Neon said with a small laugh. She brought Lex up. "Wait, Lex? I barely talk to him honestly. I was just asking him how he was doing in the halls." Neon seemed very confused in her voice, though she suddenly got it. "Your not jealous are you?" She paused, "Lex is about what.. nine years younger than me? That's a bit creepy. But back on the gaining help. Rock used to help me... but," Neon stopped herself from continuing.

Alice grew deadly silent as her eyes flashed open and she looked as if she was in a trance staring at one of the targets. She held one of her daggers in her hands as she rubbed it trying to clam down. She wanted to be nice to Neon and a friend but that commit set her off again. Lex was more than just some creepy old guy who played with weapons. If she waned to start name calling that it was fine with her. Alice crossed her arms over her chest so she couldn't throwing her dagger and kill the woman. She just stared at the wall as she tried to count in her head before she said something she shouldn't. She finally spoke though the slight hint of anger could be noted in her voice. "Yea Rock is good at helping. Though you can't help those who don't want to be helped can you." She said as she turned and stared at Neon looking right into her eyes never losing sight of them. "No I am not jealous of you by any means. I wouldn't change myself for any money. What I don't like is you near Lex. Not that it matters because he doesn't feel the same way about me. You know if you really wanted to walk by now you would already be and you would let the doctors help you with your brittle bones. So what did you do to him to make him give up on you? I mean it takes a lot to make Rock give up on a person." She said as she as she stared at Neon.

Neon could tell she said something to set off the women. She was very easy to set off. Neon would only have to choose her words more carefully. Lex wasn't the creepy one, she would be for ever thinking about dating him. The old pedophile thing would come up. "You want to know? I was completely replaced. They called her the best thing to ever happen to this squad. She was made to kill, and knows probably over 300 ways to do so. When that kind of opportunity slaps even the strongest leader in the face he takes it." She said to her. realizing she was speaking vaguely. "To be more clear, you happened." Neon said, staring right back at her.

"It isn't my fault I was made to kill. You had your chance Neon. You know if you weren't such a air head about things you could still be the top even in your chair. Rock isn't good enough for you now is he. You know he deserves better than some old washed up sour woman who is to busy feeling sorry for herself. I always hoped the guys were lieing about the two of you being lovers because he could do so much better. Though if you where the same woman before you turned into this pathetic creator he couldn't have done any better. If it was me and I was you. And some new girl was taking my spot I would prove to the leader why I was the best. But then your not me you just went silent. No wander your still single at your age and not going any where. Unlike you I love my job and getting to hunt and I fight for the things I believe in. When you get your back bone back let me know because I am sure the rest of the team and Rock would love to see it for once. And see the woman they knew instead of the pile of ash that they see now. You know what your problem is Neon. You stopped fighting and you turned weak. Women like us arnt weak we turn weak when we get scared of something. So what scared you into this pathetic state? Mine was when I was left of dead in the Marines on enemy lines and allowed to be tortured and left for five years. But one day I realized I needed to fight. That is how I got out and how I made it here. It wasn't given to me. I fought for it and I won." She said as she shook her had and just laughed.

"You honestly think I don't know all that." Neon stretched her legs out and stood up. She had been moving them slightly the entire time. Mainly to pop everything back into its place. Everything aligned right as she stood. "I'm not you. I will never be you. I have no reason to be you." Neon said. She was getting sick of this bickering. It wasn't even the insults, it was the fact Alice was telling her everything she had heard thousands of times. And they were all right. "You were left by the marines. Years ago and now you are unable to Trust your team? This is an entire new group of whom you have been with for years, and all you do is make enemies. The whole reason anyone shows you respect is because they are afraid of you. If that is the life you want to lead, all the power to you. But I have to say, since you butted with my relationship problems, I think its fair game. You can't be in a relationship if you can't even let your guard down for two seconds. Really? Isn't trusting one another part of the whole thing? Women like us arn't weak we turn weak when we get scared of something. So what scared you into this pathetic state? Mine was when we were sent to exterminate a flock of Harpies. You know, usually gentle creatures, just these had a taste for flesh. We went in, set explosives, took an egg. I stayed behind to finish running the wire. Rock didn't want to leave, but I made him. Well some ass hit the button right as Rock got out." Neon told her. Knowing it wasn't a meracless story like hers, but it was a story.

Rock enterd the hanger at 0230, bring with him crates of weapons. "Listen up. For this mission we will be useing silver bullets, and the flashlights on your guns have UV filters on them. You will also be useing special UV flashbangs. Our job is to destroy the entire nest. And remember what I said about getting bit. Because death is the only cure" Col. Rock grabbed a fully-automatic shotgun with silencer, flashbangs, and his trusty .45 and knife.

"Everyone, aboard the plane. We have a long flight to afghanistan" Col. Rock boarded the transport, along with crates of the special weapons.

Rock glanced over at Lex. "You ever encounter vampires before?"

Rock looked at his knife. "It was vampires that got me into monster squad. 15 years ago I was a member of a black ops outfit. We were having a training exercise in alaska when we came across a cave. The troop leader shined in a light, and they came rushing out. They ripped out their throats and sucked out the blood. Then they took off the heads. One member was bitten, but he turned quickly. I shot him, but seeing as my bullets were not silver they had no effect. They surrounded me and I fougt them off with just my knife. Finally the sun came up and they all burned to ash. When the higher ups found out that I was the lone survivor, they put me in charge of monster squad"

When the Squad left, Neon was upstairs in the information room again. But the words Alice had said to her were making her think. Carefully Neon Got up from her seat, giving the control to one of the lesser guys. He was decent with the job. Neon headed downstairs into the empty training room. The same place she went every night for hours before her shift. Neon carefully got up and went out to the pool, changing on the locker room on the way. Carefully she got in and started to do a few laps. The pool was small, only about twenty feet long. After about two and a half times around, she stopped, gripping the side to take a short break.

Rock looked over at Lex. "Just don't get cocky. Stay with the unit at all times"
