Rock leaned back and closed his eyes. It was going to be a long flight.

Rock was awoken when he felt the plane touch down. He looked at his watch. It was noon. "We don't have much time. We need that sunlight" He thought to himself.

Alice had left Neon in the hanger when Rock had gave the orders to load up and head out. She was a little anger that she had got stuck in the second plane and had to pilot it instead of her own plane. She figured it served her right for being nosy and letting her emotions get out of hand the other day. She wasn't sure about this vampire hunting mission. She didn't do guns and none of her swords, daggers, needles or stars would do anything to a vampire. This time rather she liked it or not she would have to trust her team mates to do their jobs. She knew that Neon was right about her trust issues. She hadn't trusted anyone since the Marines. And she hadn't forgave them either.She was snapped from her thoughts as she heard the orders to land the plane. She did as she was told to landing besides the other plane.

Neon was back in her seat as the plane was landing. Her hair was still wet, but at least she was there. Neon radioed into the two planes. "Checking in." She said very computer like. Being sure the systems worked. They always did, but she was being recorded by her boss now. Damn jack asses.

"Copy that." Alice reaped like a robot. There was no life in the words. Though her mind was else where at this time. She useless on this mission. She smiled slightly as one of the guys gave her a handful of the flash bombs. Now those she could use she thought as she packed them away and took one of the guns not liking having to use one. It wasn't that she couldn't use them she just preferred not to after her years in the marines. After her five years in the enemy camp she had never been ably to shot one. The reason why was no ones business but her own. She put it back down after all the other guys had left and shut the door to the plan as she fell into place among them keeping quite as the waited for the members of the other plane.

"Yeah, like your going to make me sit here for ten hours." She told Lex. Remembering Alice's threat towards her about even speaking with him. She heard her voice a few seconds later. "Got it." She told them both. Working down her checklist. She didn't need to summarize the mission since it was more than likely drilled into their minds by now. Vampire's were probably the one creature Rock took very seriously. At least he didn't tolerate screw ups.

Rock gatherd his gear and got off the plane. He stood before his squad. "From here we take a chopper the to the mountains. We will then enter the cave system and search for the nest. Leave nothing alive, and watch your necks" Col. Rock boarded the waiting chopper.

Neon came on Rock's radio. "Silver coated collars were pack I believe, right?" She asked him. Looking over the plane's manifest. The collars didn't really stop them, just more threw them off for a few seconds as they tried to get the taste out of their mouths. "I hoped they were packed at least..." She ended with when she didn't get a quick response from Rock.

Alice took her seat at the rear of the chopper. She kept her eyes on the floor as she waited for the others to take there seat so the mission could begin. She didn't like the feeling she was getting about this mission. Maybe because it was to much like the one that almost ended her live. Though their target wasn't vampires. They where just as bad though only they didn't bite you and turn you into one of them. They just tortured you then killed you once there found no amusement from you. If she would have been smart she would have got one of her friends to make her a uv sword or saber. She smiled as she thought about having a life saber. She could be a jedi then and use the force. It was a amusing thought, though it wasn't very appropriate at the time.

"Yeah, we've got'em" Rock replied. He put the collar around his neck. "Now all we have to worry about is their claws, quick speed, and super strengh"

"You know what your doing." She said to him. Wondering if everyone had a collar.. She wasn't sure since there was a lot of rushing around. Neon didn't have the right equipment in the area to see everything either. Only hear.

Alice followed her team leader into the cave system. They moved with great speed not seeing one sing of a vampire. They reached the middle of the cave system when all of a sudden they where surrounded by a clan of vampires. Alice closed her eyes as she threw the flash bombs hearing all the strikes and screams not sure witch ones where from her team mates or the vampires. Alice let out a scream as she felt her body being through into the cave wall and threw it. When she got up she found herself in complete darkness and all alone as she began the journey to find a way out of the cave and her team mates. Her team leader had broken rank. He didn't wait for Rock to give the order to leave but she couldn't argue with him she was just a scout. She had to follow without question. Again she had trusted her superiors and what had it got her this time.
Alice found her way out of the cave system and was helped to one of the planes with a few of the other team members from her team. They where flown back to base and sent to the medical room. Alice was let go before even being looked at because she had told them she didn't feel hurt and they had to many that where. She walked back to her hanger as she fell against a wall as pain shot thought her arm. She waited for it to pass as she stumbled into the hanger holding on to the table for support. She wandered if maybe she was wrong about not being hurt. Everything inside of her ached and hurt. The light of the hanger was making her eyes hurt and every noise was painful to hear. She was pouring sweat and her heart was pounding out of control making her feel worse. "w-what is wrong with me?"

When the Squad started to head back, Neon warned the medical rooms to get ready along with any possible last minutes things. It would be a few hours before they would be back again. Neon got up, wheeling to her room and taking a bottle of pills. They were pain relievers for her when she trained. Neon took then with her and headed down into the hanger. Taking two she got to work. Stretching first, then running a bit, followed by beating a punching bag. Neon ended her short work out by simply taking a swim. By then the planes had come back. Though Neon heard late. She lifted herself from the pool. Her bones and joints were killing her, but she had it back to her chair and took two more pills before wheeling herself out and into the hanger room. She saw Alice against the wall. Not looking very well, still she was too far away for Neon to notice any signs. "Alice? You alright?" Neon asked, wheeling a bit closer.

"Yes." Alice spat back at the voice that hurt her ears. Just what she needed noise to add to her pain. Every cell in her body hurt making her wish she could die. She fell to the floor as she held her stomach as pain ripped through her body again making her scream out as a slight tear fell from her face. She had only been thrown what was happening she wandered as she wished she would just die. It was worse than the five years she had been tortured. There was no ease of this pain or dulling this pain. She felt as if every bone in her body was braking and changing all at once.

She clicked her headset on. "I need a medic team in the hanger, stat." She said quickly to them. Neon could tell noise was bothering her. She slowly got up from the chair, gaining her balance. She got a bit closer. Probably too close, but everything was confusing from the angle she was at. Neon was probably a good five feet away from her. She got closer, so she was standing almost over Alice. "Hey, you will be alright.." She whispered. Trying to calm the woman in little way. She stepped a foot away, looking towards the door for the medic team.

Alice raced out and grabbed Neon leg. "NO! Tell them it was a false alarm. " She said between gasp as he let go of her leg and slowly rose to her feet pulling herself up by the table. She held her left arm as the pain grew worse in it and it began to burn again like it had before she was thrown. "Don't tell Rock or anyone else." She pleaded as she stumbled about the hanger trying to make it to her room. She didn't want them to see her like this she didn't want anyone to.

She braced herself when Alice grabbed her leg, then pulled herself up by the table. Neon watched her move around and cocked an eyebrow. It angered her a bit. After the talk about how Neon should get the doctor's help last night. "Are you kidding me? You can barely walk." She told Alice, looking her over. Something caught her eye. Two puncher wounds on her neck. They were very small, and appeared to not be a full bite, but a bite was a bite. "Oh my.." Neon said as her eyes widened a bit. She reached up to her headset, about to call a code red.

Alice looked up as she heard the alarm she then turned and glared at Neon as she felt a sudden urge to attack her. Alice turned as her eyes changed colors. A low growl came from her as she shook her head trying to fight the urge to attack her. She stumbled from the room and dogged all the security using the air vent system. She open the vent to her room and fell thew as she went to her bath room and removed her clothes seeing claw markings on her left arm. She then froze as she saw a faint blood trail coming from her neck and two small puncture wounds on it. "NO!" She yelled as she pushed herself against the wall. She quickly grabbed a rang as she turned on her sink and wet the rag and cleaned her scratch markings and her puncture wounds. She banged her wounds but left her two puncture wounds unbandage and left them open as she covered them up with fake skin she had making it look like her own not eve a doctor would know it wasn't her own skin. She thew on her work out outfit as she swallowed the whole bottle of aspirin and fell into her bed as her head spun. It was just a bad dream she told herself as the over does of pain relievers knocked her out along with the pain.

The medic team came in right as Alice left. She hadn't called the code red yet, so the medics thought she was the one in pain. Neon was a bit startled though and the two idiots in front of her were not helping. Neon sat back down in her chair rubbing her eyes. What the hell had happened on that mission. They needed to find Alice. She was going to be a danger to everyone... Neon knew why she was running though. It was understandable. Still, they were all in trouble. Alice was still early in the stage.. she could even possible be helped.. She wasn't sure what to do. Alice didn't want them to know, but what was that woman going to do?!

Rock enterd Alice's room. He took out his .45 and placed it against her head. He cocked back the hammer. "Give me a reason to let you live Alice, just one good reason"

Alice open her eyes as she stared back into Rocks. "Go a head your just all like them. You can't trust the people around you. I didn't ask to get bit I did as I was told to do. But that doesn't matter that only gets you killed. Why would you care anyhow?" She said as she closed her eyes and waited. Just her luck only this time her suppose team mates would kill her by their own hand instead of letting the enemy do it. It hurt on the inside that he wanted to kill her for something not even her fault. If all the gear had been packed and everyone well equipped none of this would have happen.

Sweat came down Rock's forehead. He finally dropped the gun. "No. Not this way. Your still a member of my unit. And no one gets left behind. We will cure you, I promise" Rock put his hand on Alice's shoulder.

Alice open her eyes and stared at him not sure what to do or say. The pain began to ramp up again. "How can you cure me? You said the only cure was death. Besides if it was a full bite wouldn't I already be one by now?" She couldn't image the pain of a full bite. Her wounds weren't deep witch meant the vampire didn't get a good bite. She assumed that meant she only received half the normal venom that most victims received from vampires. She sat up slowly as she looked to the door. "D-do I need to go to the medical bay then?" She didn't want to go any where. All she could think about was that room with the monsters in it. She would be there soon....she would be the one they where torturing and experimenting with. She slowly got up as she walked slowly out of her room and down to the medical bay. She removed the fake skin so the doctors could look at her bite wounds. She didn't make a sound as the quickly stabbed her with needles drawing her blood and venom from her wound. She was then plugged up to a IV of blood as it dripped into her. She was placed in a dark area where the light wouldn't bother her and the nose was so better now with nothing in there to hurt her ears. She just sat there as she waited for them to figure out what to do with her and how to save her if they could. Neon was wrong she couldn't trust her team mates here look what it got her this time. It was there job to make sure all the equipment was packet and to have her back but they let her down on both accounts. Though if she did turn at lest she wouldn't have to worry about dying from being stabbed or shot at. She could enjoy the speed and strength that came with being a undead not to mention the looks.
