Alice almost coached on her own saliva as she heard the being. She turned her head as she stared at the being. Was it being serous or just trying to get her attention. She was about to ask as hunger pains hit her. She rolled her eyes annoyed with the pain and wanting it to just leave her alone.

Indrid Cold raised his hand. Rock then fell to the ground and barfed up a black substance. It was the cancer. "You are are cured. But Alice must stay as she is. It is the only way she will win the battle" Indrid Cold then flew up into the sky, and vanished in the blink of an eye.

Alice rushed to Rocks side as she held out a cloth for him to wipe hit mouth from. She felt bad for him but she didn't know what to do. This was not part of his plan she knew that she be left as she was. She wanted to tell him the truth but she couldn't not now. She would just keep doing her job and wait.

Neon's eyes widened as the mothman flew away and Rock fell to the ground. She went to his other side. Kneeling down slowly. Alice already had the cloth out. "Are you alight?" She whispered to him. Knowing he may be very angry about Alice not being treated.

Rock wiped the black goo from his mouth. "I hate it when he talks so crypticly. I'm sorry Alice, but I guess you need to stay this way for the greater good. Indrid is never wrong"

"It is fine, just means if it comes down to it I can take a bite out of one of the creators. Besides it looks like I want be dieing now daddy Rock and neither will you." She said smiling slightly as she thought about having a few more years with her dear boss. She backed away suddenly as she smelt a hint of blood from him. It had never bothered her before but now it was causing her even more pain and her hunger pains where getting worse. She figured that the vampire side might be wining though the other stuff they injected her with was still at work.

Neon listened to the two. Unable to really say too much at the sitution. Though Alice didn't really seem to care very much. Neon rose an eye as Alice as she backed away suddenly. "Alice, Are you alright?" She asked. Knowing the girl was in pain, but not knowing she was craving human blood at that moment.

"Neon, be careful. She's going through withdrawl symptoms" Rock called out.

Alice shook her head at Neon's question as she turned and ran away from the pair. She kept running till she reached the hawk and feel to her knees as she hunched over and held her stomach as she found herself vomiting blood and the serum the doctors had gave her along with some of the venom. She closed her eyes as she rocked back and forth just wanting the pain to stop. She had a weak stomach and seeing Rock made her stomach week and now this.

Rock walked up behind Alice. He gently rubbed her back. "Your going to be alright Alice. Your strong, and you can fight anything"

"No not this time. They are going to put in the cages arn"t they. As soon as we get back I will be in that room with the other monsters. I know I will there is no need to Lie Rock. You can't stop them you have a whole team to worry about. I am no longer yours to worry about. I know they will experiment on me now. What happens if I lose this battle daddy Rock? What are they going to do to me? Test all their new weapons till they kill me? Use my blood to make new bio weapons?" She said as she sat there. "You are lucky at lest you can live and now you can be with Neon. At lest something good came from this. The other members of the team want accept me now and we both know it. I am a monster now." She said as she went quite and sat there staring at the ground.

"So your just going to quit? Give up? That is not the Alice I know. The Alice I know is a fighter! You can be helped. We won't go back. We'll keep you hidden. Somewhere private so you can have peace"

"No that is no life to have. I will go back. I can hide my condition. Besides I am not a full vampires so I don't have the same weakness as they do. I will just have to stay away from the medical bay with all the blood there. Your right Daddy Rock. Come one we needed to get you and Neon some where for the night. We still have a few days till we have to take Neon back."

"We can head to mountains. I have a cabin next to a lake. We can relax there" Rock boarded the chopper, sitting in the co-pilots seat.

Alice nodded as she rose to her feet and followed him. She took her seat in the pilot set as she turned the black hawk on and waited for Neon. "You know daddy Rock there is still hope for you and her. She still loves you but your going to have to work on your relationship. This would be a perfect time for the two of you to patch things up. I think I'll go hunting once we are there so the two of you can be alone. Besides I have to learn how to use this new body of mine to my advantage." She said smiling faintly for him.

Neon was a bit shocked when Alice suddenly ran, she would have gone after her if.. she could run herself. Though Rock left and went after her. Neon decided the best thing for her was to head back towards the plain. It would take her awhile any how. The Plane came into view, but she still had to walk another sixty feet to get there.

Rock helped Neon get abord the chopper. The three of them then flew to Rock's secret cabin in the mountains.

Alice landed the hawk and moved from her seat. She quickly gathered their gear and placed it in the house then left the two of them alone to settle things out. She ran thew the forest as she hunted for their food for tonight. She pulled out her daggers as she thew one nailing a deer in the middle of it's head and watched it fall to the ground dead on impact. She saw that it was a rather nice size and could feed them all rather well.

Rock helped Neon out of the chopper and into the cabin. He placed her on the couch. "Make yourself at home" he saiid with a slight smile.

Alice pulled out her water canteen and slit the deers neck as she watched it's blood flow into the container. She felt said and sick at the same time as she did so. But she couldn't help her self the urge was to strong she wanted blood it's blood or anything she could get. It was already dead anyhow it wouldn't need it. Besides it would help cleaning the deer easier for her once she got back out of the woods. She closed her eyes after the last drop dripped from the deer and put the container to her lips as she drunk the blood. She hated the taste at first then became accustom to it and began to enjoy it.

Neon sat up on the couch. The walk earlier had been making her legs burn, though it was good for her. "Thanks" She said to rock, leaning back a bit and closing her eyes. It was strange to be able to relax like that. Even for a few seconds she felt completely at ease.

Rock walked over to the refrigerater. He grabbed a beer. "Hey Neon, wan't a cold one?"

"Sure" She told him from the other room. When he handed it to her, Neon opened it and took a small sip of it.

Rock took a seat. "So Neon, how are you holding up? Is your therapy going ok?" Rock was never one for small talk.

Neon laughed a bit. "You hate small talk. But no, I couldn't afford it so I had to stop going." She admitted. "I gave up after a while, feeling no one really cared, but then Alice and I had a huge argument and I started working out again."
