Kiona laughed as she ran. She never really got to have fun like that. Even though were they were going, it wasn't going to be fun. But she didn't care. Her long legs let her quickly catch up to him, and the fact that she ran in the gym everyday. She passed him slightly. "Stupid kid, your slow!" She grinned at him, her fears and thoughts of darker things left behind while they ran.

Darrien was surprised when she kissed him but he didn't jerk or anything like that. Man, her lips are soft... He held her hand, trying not to grip it tightly like he wanted to, to reassure himself that she was still here. He smiled weakly at her. "Does it have anything to do with things the higher ups said?" Then he mumbled under his breath, "Or the freaking white light that spilled from my hands."

Shane laughed as he started to pass her. Though he kept up. Passing a few blocks until they were near the apartments. Though there was a crowd in the way. Still, Shane could see Kiske laying in the street. A bit of blood was around him. "Shit." Shane muttered, shoving his way threw the crowd and over to Kiske. Kneeling by him, and telling a few of his fan girls to shut up and back off. Shane did not dare to touch Kiske though. "He is breathing.." Shane said to Kiona.

Ava shook her head. Very slightly, almost not even moving it at all. "The higher ups did not tell me a thing, only forced me to leave. I went to the gym for a few hours to blow off some steam. But then on the way back, I got two one minute text messages. At the same time. After that, I can not remember. But I know they did not tell me a thing. The.. demon on the other hand was very vocal.."

Kiona assessed the situation quickly. Ha-Neul was already there and Shane said he was breathing. But the fan girls wouldn't back off, crying and whatever idiots do. She stood by them and looked at the other two Angels. "Ha-Neul, people called an ambulance? Got him help? If not, I need you to make sure that his neck does not move, brace it. Shane, check his pulse and other spots where he may be bleeding. Now," She turned away from the body towards the twats that wouldn't listen to anyone. She cracked her knuckles and popped her neck. For all that she had calmed she looked dangerous. She took a deep breath and her voice boomed like a vet's sometimes needs too. "He's bloody dying. Get the fuck back, call a goddamn ambulance. If anybody, ANYBODY wants to get any closer than 10 feet, you'll have to deal with me."
She turned back. "Shane, status."

Darrien growled. "They didn't tell me much either when I barged in. What did the demon say?"

Shane nodded. Looking to Ha-Neul. He knew she was there, just hadn't really had time to say hello. Hearing Kiona's orders. He took his phone out, going to the stop watch and started taking count while finding the vein on his wrist. Once Kiona was still speaking, he did the math after thirty seconds. "He is just a bit under normal, but it is there." Shane told her.

"He kept calling me Michael still. I think I know what it means. Though the demon was speaking riddles." Ava gripped his hand a bit harder as she felt a wave of pain go threw her body. "He said I have some of the archangel's power in me. I guess it makes sense in a way.. At least it would explain a lot of things. It still sounds crazy, or maybe it could be even the drugs talking."

Kiona nodded and knelt. Her hands ran over his body, gently, feeling for anything broken or other cuts while keeping an eye on the growing crowd. She wanted to look at his back too but didn't dare turn him over without real medical assistance. She looked at Ha-Neul. Kiona wasn't sure if she had medical training or not but she held his neck right. She stood up, hearing the ambulance on the way. She looked around. "They're almost here. Shane, Ha-Neul, see if you can't talk him awake somehow. Don't jostle him. I don't know if his back or neck is broken. I'll make sure the medics can get through this dumbass crowd."

Darrien squeezed her hand back. "It doesn't sound crazy. Not with the things we've seen today. And with Kiona...anyway, Micheal? As in the archangel Micheal? Isn't he some big howdy-do-dee in the bible or something?" He had never payed attention in church when he was younger and didn't bother to read anything since he started his job. Anything. But if what he thought was true, this was going to be pretty messy.

Shane nodded to Kiona. "I won't. I am just glad he is alive." Shane sat back a bit. adjusting himself to get a bit more comfortable. "Kiske, you alright man?" Shane said to him. Seeing if maybe he could hear him. Shane waited a few seconds. Glancing up to Ha-Neul who still appeared to be very worried. Shane could not blame her though. Who could after all? "Kiske, Hello?!"

"Yeah, that is the one." Ava said to him. Though heard the part with Kiona. "What happened to Kiona? Is she alright?" Ava was a bit worried now. She knew something about Kiona was different, but if she had gotten harmed durning the battle Ava would not forgive herself. Ava being hurt was one thing, but not someone on her team.

Kiske began to come to. He could hear voices, some of them recognizable and others he had never heard before. When he opened his eye's, his vision was blurred, but he could make out some of the figures in front of him. He wanted to move, but he remembered the pain shooting through his legs before he was knocked unconscious. His breathing was labored from the pain his chest. He looked up at Shane,"What's going on?" He cringed as another wave of pain shot through his body.

Shane watched as Kiske finally woke up. A light smile came to his face. "Ah good, your awake. Probably just in time to watch Kiona kill one of your fan girls. They are really starting to aggravate her. Oh, and try not to move. I am not sure what happened, but finding you in the middle of the road sleeping is probably not good. We called an ambulance and it should be on the way." Shane said to Kiske, turning his head slightly to see Kiona behind him. In the distance they could hear the ambulance blaring its siren.

Kiona had been arguing with a group of fan girls, one in particular, when Kiske woke. Thus, she had no idea that he had finally come to. Of course, that was until the fan girl cried out and tried to get past her. All she did was sigh before her hand snaked out, quick as a wink, and pushed the girl back. Not with enough force to knock her down, yet, but enough to push her back. She raised her eyebrow. "Did I not say you cannot come within ten feet of him? One more time and your pretty face won't like my 'dainty' hands."
She called over her shoulder, "Shane, keep him talking if you can. Kiske, good to have you back." The whole time, she was glaring at the girls. Most were shuffling their feet and looking down, not liking her. Others, like the girl she pushed was glaring directly back, obviously trying to figure out a way to touch Kiske or whatever it is that fan girls do.

Darrien shook his head. "She's fine...I think. You dont remember, huh? Maybe we should talk about that later, when your home. Trust me, it's not really something to discuss here." He frowned. "Maybe I should go back there tonight. I don't doubt she'll be asking questions." Then he shook his head again. "Nah, she'll be fine until tomarrow." He grinned. "I left Shane in charge of her. No doubt she's already calmed down. Anyway, you have archangel magic huh? Apparently, according to the ass's upstairs, your are an Archangel. And I'm some kind of...crap, whatsit? Oh, a Seraphim. Whatever that is."

Kiske chuckled, but quickly regretted it. The pain in his abdomen was getting to a point where he could barely bare it. He attempted to take a deep breath, but every time he inhaled his lungs felt like they were on fire,"That ambulance needs to get here faster." He didn't want to move his body, he didn't have the energy to do so, but he still didn't like being surrounded by crazed fan girls while he was stuck on the ground.

(Okay, just letting everyone know. I'm actually losing my internet today. So I will not be on very much, if at all for a long while :cry: I will try to get to the library when I can to get on but yeah...This freaking sucks. I'm so sorry.)

The ambulance came up finally as the two paramedics pushed their way threw the crowd and over to Kiske. Shane stood up out of the way. A police man finally came also, dispersing the crowd completely and allowing the paramedics to work without the screaming girls in the background. They were asking Kiske questions over what happened, though when he could not answer, Shane and Ha-Neul were questioned. "I have no idea. I just found him here." He said to the cop.

Kiona smiled at the cop. "Thanks. Didn't want to have to do it. You might have had to arrest me." She turned to watch but staying out of the medics way. "He was unconscious when we got here. He was still breathing and heart rate was pretty decent. I think he broke his legs and maybe a few ribs. There were no major injuries on the surface though." One of the medics looked at her and just nodded.

Kiske was relieved when the ambulance finally got there, he actually let out a sigh of relief. When EMP's brought the gurney over to him and lifted him up onto it, Kiske cringed in pain. As they began to roll the gurney towards ambulance, he looked back at Shane and Kiona,"So, you guy's coming with me?" When he was in the ambulance, they started to sedate him, to keep the pain from becoming worse than it already was.

Shane looked to Kiona when Kiske asked them if they were coming. "Do you have a car?" He asked. There was not enough room in the ambulance for them also. Besides Shane did not have a car. "Unless I can tie a rope to the end of the bumper and skateboard there." Shane said. Receiving an eye roll from the paramedic. "Don't worry Kiske, We will be there!"

Ava nodded. Listening to everything he was saying to her. "Yeah, we can talk about it later. The nurse may think we need help." Ava said with a small smile, though it disappeared at the mention of magic. She was not scared, just wanted things to be normal. "I guess that is good. I am not sure what to say though- Darrien if you want to leave, I am not holding you back. I will be fine here."

Kiona growled. "No I don't have car. I walk everywhere. We could take a taxi. I've got cash for that." She looked at Kiske and smiled a little. "We'll meet you there, so don't worry about a thing."

Darrien snorts. "Like I'm going to leave you. Kiona can take care of herself and so can everyone else. Sides," He gives her a crooked smile. "I don't want to leave you after almost losing you after we were supposed to go on a date, Ava."

Kiske relaxed his body against the gurney as the sedatives took effect. He looked back at the two before the EMP's shut the doors,"Fine, but hurry." When the doors were fully shut, the ambulance started up the sirens and began to drive away, towards back to the hospital in which he left not to long ago. The EMP's were making sure to keep the bleeding to a minimum and making sure his head wasn't injured too badly when he hit the ground.

[[Whoa, sorry guys, fell waaaaay behind.]]

Ha-Neul did what she could, using her limited knowledge as well as she could to make him comfortable until the ambulance arrived. When it finally did, along with the police, Ha-Neul took a step back, wiping her brow.

"I have no idea, either," she said, holding her hands up a little. "I mean, I think its obvious he got hit by a car, but... I'm not sure exactly what happened."

She watched as the ambulance sped off, then looked at Kiona and Shane, her expression shy. "Um, is it okay if I tag along? I understand if you'd rather I not, I'm kind of just... butting in here." She remembered their first encounter and couldn't help a silent chuckle- she always seemed to be butting into these fiascoes.

Shane nodded to Kiona. "No problem." He was about to say more when he heard Ha-Neul. "Your apart of the team. You don't need to be so shy Ha-Neul. Of coarse you can come. After all, now I get to walk with two beautiful ladies." Shane said to them both with a rather cocky smile. He was expecting to be smacked also. Especially by Kiona.

Ava smiled up at him. "I remember. I ordered pizza for us. It probably isn't what you had in mind, but at least it is something." She said to him. Wondering when it would even get there.

Kiona growled at Shane but didn't do or say anything else. She looked at Ha-Neul and nodded. Again, that was it. She was starting to feel the effects of everything that had happened. Even with the food in her stomach, thanks to Shane, she felt wiped. But they needed to go to the hospital and quick. She looked around. "We need to get a cab or something."

Darrien grinned at her. "Perfect! I hope its a good kind too. I have a tendency to get picky about my pizza." He squeezes her hand a little. "Thank you though. I'm glad you remember." He knew she couldn't have forgotten since they made the plans just that morning but he wanted to say it anyway.

"I'll get one," Ha-Neul said quickly, stepping onto the curb and lifting one slim hand, sticking the other into her mouth and whistling sharply. A cab skidded to a stop a few feet short of running the girl over, the words "open" flashing on the top. She had chosen to ignore Shane for the moment; she'd end up just getting flustered, and she'd like to keep her head on for the time being. She turned to face the two, shy despite Shane's encouraging words.

Shane looked at Ha-Neul a bit surprised. Never had he successfully gotten a cab that fast. Quickly he looked to Kiona, who seemed angry at him. Forcing Shane to put a charming smile on his face. "Lets get going! We have to beat the media after all." Shane said to her before stepping up to the cab. Looking at the coffee energized driver. Now New York drivers were crazy. But this guy was probably sleep deprived, and now on a caffeine high. He opened the door for Kiona and Ha-Neul. "So we will probably die here today. It was nice knowing you two." Shane said in probably the happiest voice he could have mustered.

"How could I have forgotten?" Ava said to him with a smile. Though her eyes widened suddenly. As if she were seeing something Darrien could not. After a few seconds she blinked a few times. "Kiske. Something happened." Ava said to him. Turning to get up, but was stopped by a jolt of pain running threw her body.

Kiona snorts and gets in the cab. She told the man that they needed to get to the hospital and quick.Then she waited for the other two to get in before telling the man to go. Once the ride started, she just stared out her window, watching the lights flash by. She was starting to get a headache now.

Darrien put a gentle hand on Ava. "Not that you don't already know, but maybe you shouldn't be getting up, Ava. I'll give Shane a call, see if he's heard anything. If not, I'll talk to the receptionist or a nurse. You rest." He gets up and goes outside the door, shutting it behind him. He takes out his cell and flips it open, pressing a number. For all he hated the kid, he had the number on speed dial. He just hoped the idiot would pick up.
