He sat impatiently in the car, fingers drumming the side of the steering wheel as the traffic began to creep its way along the road. Honestly, could things become even slower than this? Well, after thinking that they were bound to, wasn’t that what normally happened anyway? As if on cue, the car in front of him stopped and the young man let out a groan. He was almost tempted to slam his head on the wheel, if it weren’t for the possibility of a self-induced concussion in the middle of a fairly busy road. Tobi rarely got irritated, but if you were stuck in a traffic jam for the past fifteen minutes, you probably wouldn’t be particularly cheerful either. Gazing irritably through the window, he thought back briefly to the one and only reason he was even out on this stupid road.

It had been late last night and Tobi had been preparing to close up shop. His boss had trusted him with the keys to the book shop for a year now. Each night he would wander up and down the rows of books, checking to make sure nothing was missing or out of place. Once he had done this twice, Tobi would then pack his things away before leaving, locking the door behind him. However, last night, just as he had begun his normal ‘patrolling’ as his boss so jokingly called it, Tobi’s phone rang. He had jumped in surprise before answering it quickly, eyes widening at the news he was given. "Y-yeah this is Tobi....You're kidding! Wow, this is great! Thanks...No, no need, I can drive there myself....Yeah directions would be kinda helpful" He chuckled softly. After a few hurried minutes of cheerful chatting and thanking, Tobi hung up, racing out of the shop and barely having time to lock it. After all, he needed to pack for his time on the show.

Sighing to himself, he wound down the window slightly to get a little cool air into the stuffy car. Thankfully, whilst on the phone, they had given him directions to drive to the mansion, although a limo had been offered. Tobi had turned it down though, preferring his little, if slightly beaten, mini. As the rows of cars finally began to move again, he quickly snapped himself out of his day dream, pressing down on the accelerator slightly to get the car going forwards. This time, the traffic didn’t stop. It seemed he had gotten out of the worst of it. In fact, a few minutes later and he was cruising comfortably.

With a faint smile to himself, Tobi began to keep an eye out for the mansion and other signs he was told to watch out for. He didn’t have to look for very long though. It was near impossible to miss the huge building rising up in front of him. Moving into the turning, he began to drive carefully to the front of the mansion. When he had parked, he was surprised to look up and see a young woman opening the door for him, a man beside her, seeming to be waiting for his keys to take the car somewhere else. Handing the keys to the man, Tobi smiled, nodding to the woman as she spoke and gripping his luggage loosely in one hand. Finally, with a smile and grateful nod of his head, Tobi began to follow the woman up towards the mansion, feeling the beginnings of both excitement and nerves coiling up inside of him.

When finally inside, Tobi spotted several other guys who had already arrived. He knew that traffic jam had made him late. Grimacing slightly, he shook it away before slowly approaching the others, hitching on a relaxed grin. “I'm guessing you’re the others taking part in this?” He asked in a cheerful tone.

Anthony smiled at the other man, Maverick and shook his hand. "I'm Anthony Padilla, my friends call me Scooter," he answered with a wide grin. The brunette let out a loud laugh at his comment about killing each other. "Well, I highly doubt I'll be doing any killing. If I can deal with my friend Ian, I can deal with anything," he chuckled. Another loud chortle escaped Anthony's lungs as he saw the male's excitement over the xbox. "I'm more of a PS3 guy, but sure, I'll play. Nothing better to do right?" he beamed as he saw the 3 ps3's..... maybe her would even take one to his room. They wouldn't miss it. Finally the other guy was off the phone and Anthony just shrugged. Some people didn't like videogames though he never understood why. How could you not enjoy an alternate world where you save the Princess or shoot up some zombies? As he walked to take a seat on the couch in front of the TV he sat and heard another guy come in. "Yeah, hey, nice to meet you. I'm Anthony Padilla, or Scooter," he introduced himself to the newcomer. Thinking back he tried to remember how many of them there were supposed to be. Was is like six? Or maybe it was ten? He somewhat hoped not ten because that was A LOT of people. Shaking his head he decided to look to Maverick. "What are we playing?" he asked then turned to look at the newcomer again, "We're playing Xbox if you would wanna join." He ran a hand threw his shaggy brown hair trying to push his hair from his eyes.

He grinned over to the guy who had introduced himself, Scooter was an interesting name, it made Tobi smile anyway. He left his case leaning against a wall, moving instead to sit cross legged on the ground beside the couch. “I’m all for playing, a nice wind down from yelling at non-moving cars, traffic was killer leading up to this place” He answered, reaching around to get one of the controls. Tobi paused to brush strands of hair out of his eyes, scowling as one refused to move. He quickly gave up, Tobi often lost battles against his hair, his friends normally teased him about it. “I’m Tobias Rhichards by the way, though Tobi’s shorter and easier to remember” He added with another faint smile flickering over his lips before glancing around at the others who had already arrived. If he remembered correctly, there would be six guys, so now they were only waiting for two more.

Maverick smiled. "Maverick Saika or Rebel. Guess it doesn't really matter which you call me, they both mean the same thing." His light laugh filled the room. But just as it ended, the sound of the game's theme song came up.

"Ahhh, as you'll soon see, we're playing Borderlands. Oh, and this is only a four player game. I also hooked it into the largest TV so our split screen screens are about 19"... so we'll be good." Smiling, he clicked the Start button to begin the game. "Lame... I didn't bring my memory card. Guess we'll have to start at level... one."

Passing out the various colored controllers, he smiled down at the orange one in his hand. "Orange, such a chipper color. It's definitely the best color around." He turned his head to look at the others. "How about you guys, what are your favorite colors?"

Anthony nodded when Tobi introduced himself. "I gotcha. I'm very ragey when it comes to traffic," he commented laughing softly. His eyes switched over to the huge television in front of them. He stared a little. Surprisingly he had never played this game. Then again, if it wasn't for PS3 then he wouldn't have played it. After some thought he realized it was for PS3 and he wondered why he hadn't gotten it. His assumption came to that another game came out at the time and he wanted that one more. Looking over to Rebel he raised his eyebrow a little. This talk of colors seemed to come out of no where, but he supposed it was relevant since the boy was holding an orange controller in his hand. "I'm rather fond of turquoise, or white," the brunette answered then turned his eyes back to the screen.

Tobi couldn't help grinning again. The others had rather interesting names compared to his. Rebel and Scooter, he would have to make sure to remember them so he wouldn't embarrass himself later. That, and they seemed fun to hang with. Glancing over to Rebel again, Tobi shrugged a little before holding up the leather cord necklace hanging loosely around his neck. There was a silver circle with a deep indigo stone set into it. "Dark purple, well, indigo really. It has so much potential to be other colours, plus it just looks nice" He grinned slightly, letting go of the necklace and turning back to the screen. Rebel had been right, each individual section was large, making it easy to see where you were going and what you were doing. Turning now to Scooter, Tobi looked slightly relieved. "Really? My brother teases me about it, he says I get too worked up...Although maybe he has a point. The last time I gave him a lift I was yelling at some guy in front of me, though at least I wasn't the one swearing" He chuckled faintly at the memory.

Miki soon arrived at a huge house. It was so much bigger than her house that was for sure, as she moved to open her door, a lady opened it for her....it was Anna.
"Hello, you must be miss Ando correct?" she asked. MIki nodded and exited the limo with her things. She then followed Anna to the house and made herself at home. Miki smiled at the people there but quickly left to her room and got everything ready.
"I still can't believe I'm here!" she squealed. Calming down, she decided to give her parents a call.

Lilliana woke up earlier than normal to the annoying sound of an unknown caller on her cell phone. It was from her city so she decided to answer it in case it was a friend with a new number. "Hello?" She answered quietly, her half asleep voice still showing it's country accent. "Oh Meh Gosh you're serious?" She replied as she shot out of her bed. "No, yeah I can get there soon... Yeah I'm on my way... Thank you so much." She said as she shot out of bed to her closet and said her goodbyes as she hung up the phone. She picked out her usually short black skirt and black t-shirt with her favorite black cat ears jacket. She slipped on a pair of too big flip flops and got her bags ready forwhen she had to leave. She ate breakfast quickly and carefully brushed her teeth before she set out for the huge mansion she was to call home for the next few weeks. She walked there knowing how late she was, since she had sent the application the night before. She checked her missed alerts to find out the same number had called about five times before she actually answered. When she finally got to the mansion she heard a few mews from inside her suitcase. "Missy? Liken?" She opened it to find out they had hitched a ride in the bag when she had left it open to eat. Suddenly she heard a bark and there was Rexy running behind her, the pets must have wanted to know who she was going to date as soon as possible. She just thought about it for a second. "Fine I'll see if you can come in with me?" She said as she set the two kittens outside of the bag with the puppy and left them at the entrance where they stayed obediently. She went inside and set her stuff down than took her phone out and called the number from earlier when they answered she instantly asked if pets were allowed in the house.

Miki soon hung up from the call to her parents, she honestly didn't know what to do so she lay on her face up.
The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. "Well Miki...what should you do? maybe I can talk to other people here..." she suggested to herself. Miki got out of bed and walked to the living room and waited for anyone to talk to. She was a nervous person and always over thought everything, even introductions.

Sitting in a chair of the livingroom, after losing connection on her phone she noticed a girl walk in. She waved silently, her face clearly showing nervousness.

Miki noticed a girl wave to her silently and she waved back.
"You must be one of the people who was called to take part correct?" she asked softly. Miki was nervous and she could tell that the girl was nervous as well.

Lilly nodded not really daring to look up or speak much, that prolly wouldn't happen til later.

It was no mystery that this girl didn't want to talk. She apparently was too shy to even look up, but that didn't bother Miki at all. Her thoughts were on weather she would actually fall in love or not. If I don't...well that would be sad, but at least this is worth trying. she thought to herself wondering where everyone else was at.

Suddenly remembering her waiting pets outside she looked up. "Are pet's allowed in the house?" She asked quietly still denying eye contact.

After looking around for a while Tegan had gone back to the living room to grab her bag. Once she had it she went back down the hallway and put the bag in one of the rooms. After getting settled in there she started to hear voices, like she wasn't the only other person there anymore. She set her bag to the side and walked back out into the living room. There were a couple more girls. A smile came to her face as she walked in, hearing a question as she answered. "Mmm, no, I don't think pets are allowed," she said as she leaned against the hallway entrance. The brunette wrapped her arms around her stomach as she said, "I'm Tegan by the way."

Miki turned to face the girl and shrugged at her question.
"Oh! hello!" she said and smiled to the new girl that had entered the room.
"My name is Miki...Tegan? that's an interesting name. Do you have an idea where everyone else is at?" she asked politely. it seemed a bit odd that the house was quiet...she thought she would be hearing people talk as if this were a party.

Lilly smiled at the newcomer and nodded, getting up to tell her pets to head home. "Lilliana." She said quietly and headed out the door, gesturing to her pets to head home to the petsitter she had asked for and they left instantly. She came back in and sat down in the corner chair she had been in before she had stood up. She watched the two closely, taking in every move and paying attention to every detail they showed. It wasn't unusual for her to do this as most of her stories were about people she had met so she always payed attention to everything, slight signs of weakness, confidence, and other details needed to know people. Her main worry about this show was that she couldn't do this on the dates. She smiled to them again still keeping out of eye contacts.

"Haha I'm not sure if interesting is a good thing or not," Tegan said with a laugh as she moved at sat in one of the chairs. "If you want interesting my nickname's Thumper." The girl laughed a little again as she brought her knees up to her chest while looking from one to another. "It's a pleasure to meet you two and as for the others, I think they said there were six of us? I don't know I could be wrong," she trailed off slightly. "I was the first here so they must not have arrived yet." She shrugged a bit before sitting back against the seat. Her thoughts then went back to the more silent girl and her question about the animals. Tilting her head to the side she said, "What kind of animals do you guys have?" It was an open question though she had gotten the inspirations from Lilliana.

Jade followed the female who had given her instructions to follow her into a room with other girls in it. She thanked the woman, then smiled at the other girls. "Hi everyone. I'm Jade-Marie, you can call me Jade, Jade-Marie, Marie, or whatever else you can come up with," she said, noticing that there were a few others introducing themselves. Introductions were always awkward, especially in a situation like this where people are pretty much your competition.

Noticing the new girl come in Lilly smiled cautiously, thinking abot what it was she needed to say about herself without giving too much away. "You can call me L!lly K!tt3n if you want to." She said quietly her coundtry accent really showing this time. She seemed a little more nervous as the others continued to enter the house.

A very loud and obnoxious noise was apparent as Alex woke up, still very groggy. "Ugh.. Why am I getting woken up?" he muttered, getting his face away from the pillow as he blinked searching for the source of the noise through his black and white streaked hair. He looked triumphant, having found his cell phone. "Hello?" he asked calmly. He paused for a moment and blinked, slightly surprised. "Ah? Um, thank you. Yeah, sure. I'll be there soon as I can. Yeah, I'll get everything ready. I know the way. Thanks!" he said happily before scrambling off the bed, hanging up as he went to pack up things.His room was organized, so he didn't have to go too far or look too hard for his clothes. He knew it was cutting it short since it was a little last minute but he sent a text to his friends, explaining what was going to go on as he grabbed a couple of shirts enough for the time they'd be spending on the show. Toothbrush, undergarments, cell phone, chargers, video games, i-pod. And a couple other random things.

His hand paused at a pack of cigarettes before he took them, just in case. He got ready in a pair of black pants and a long red, almost trench coat style coat. He had a dark grey shirt under the coat and put on some black boots. Checking the time he smirked, glad he was right on time before rushing down the stairs to the front of the house and going to the garage. "Hello lovelies." he said with a small smile, looking at his car and motorcycle. Debating on both, he looked at the suitcases he had and at the bike. He pouted somewhat before sighing and going to the car. It was a silver sports car, but it was an older model from the new ones right now. Though it did look well taken care of. A couple minutes later he backed out of the garage and zoomed past the neighborhood, taking a short cut to avoid the early traffic. "Hopefully, it's worth it." he said with a small sigh. He'd been egged on by his friends, saying it'd be a good experience and it'd help with his love life. As if I needed any help..

Who knows how much time later, he arrived at the designated house. He looked slightly impressed. "Well then." he said with a small smirk. It did seem like a very lovely place. Big enough for twelve people. But hopefully, it'd be big enough to still not feel very cramped. Parking the car he looked around and got off the car, taking his suitcases from the back seat. Heading to the front door he introduced himself to a girl who was waiting for all the 'contestants' before waving, going inside to see that there were already people in there. He tilted his head and offered a small smile and a wave with his free hand to them. "Am I the last one?" he asked curiously. It wouldn't be very surprising, since he did get there a bit late. He had no idea if they had all gotten there first, and were just in their rooms or somewhere else. He set him things down against the wall and looked around again. The place was huge.

Anthony chuckled as Tobi mentioned that he did often get made fun of by his brother for his road rage. He nodded and grinned. "When I go somewhere with either my family or my friends. I generally am refused the privilege of driving since they don't like my fast speed or anger," he answered with a grin. Scooter looked over his shoulder when he heard another person come in. He smiled and then began counting around the room. "Seems that there is still one more guy we're waiting on. I'm Anthony or Scooter, by the way," he said introducing himself. Turning back around he focused back on the game. "There's room for one more player if you want to join... I forget what we're playing already though," Scooter said with a chuckle running a hand threw his brown hair.
