Alex had been amused by the whole thing. He chuckled somewhat and tilted his head. "It was 20th Century Fox. And that movie was pretty cool. Though, I liked the dog and the bat." he said, offering the name. He'd forgotten about the names at the moment. "I'm Alex. Well, It's not really a nickname, but what can I do? Sadly I don't really have any other nicknames." he paused for a moment before smirking. "Well, that I know about at least." he said before shrugging. "My favorite song from Disney.. That's a tough one.. Might be Friends on the Other Side. The one that that Dr. Facilier. Or Poor Unfortunate Souls." he added. He'd always liked the villain songs more for some reason. .

☼ ....you might as well be walking on the sun... ☼ Maisie breathed a sigh of relief. Thank god she wasn't too late, after all. She listened as footsteps filled the room and Anna announced the new rules, still feeling slightly idiotic for trying to start a conversation with nobody. She sat back and listened as the others began to describe themselves. Each time she thought she had something to say, though, someone else would say something ten times more interesting than what she had been thinking of. Finally, there seemed to be a break in the conversation as a male voice introduced himself as Dimitri and lightened the conversation, dispelling a few of the jitters she'd felt before. A pretty, almost southern-sounding lilt introduced herself as Bonnet, and Maisie decided that now would be a good time to speak. "Hey," she said, just loudly enough for everyone to hear her. "My nickname is Bing. When I was little, my brothers and I would sit at our house in Oregon - That was before we moved to the Northeast - And pick bing cherries growing from a tree in our yard. My brother Eric and I would always compete to see who would eat the most cherries, and I always won. Hence, Bing." She smiled, fondly remembering the golden days when she and Eric had gotten along so well. Of course, they were still closely in touch, but life, it seemed, had gotten too complicated for the family life they'd once cherished. |

Tobi glanced around, patiently listening to the others. Each time he opened his mouth a little, about to speak, one of the others had started instead. It made Tobi laugh slightly to himself. At the sound of someone hitting the floor, Tobi had jumped, looking around in surprise for the source of the crash, although it was quickly explained by one of the guys. Grinning broadly, he settled himself down on the seat again, looking thoughtful.
"Compared to all your stories, mine sounds pretty boring as well. I'm named after a character in some book my parents loved. However, in my opinion it sounds kinda pretentious so I shortened it to Tobi. Plus, Tobi's a lot easier to say when you're five and have trouble saying most english words" He chuckled again, running a hand through his hair. Tobi had been better at saying french when he was younger, mostly due to his mother's influence. She had been a translator so was pretty fluent in French, German, Spanish and Cantonese. She had also had the habit of speaking in one of these four other languages instead of English. Pausing again, he looked thoughtful for the next question. "I guess I'd have to say my favourite disney song is God help the Outcasts from Hunchback of Notredame, actually, I like all the music from it...I'll avoid singing though, as Anna said it'd be better not to break the lenses" He laughed lightly. Glancing over to where he thought one of the girls, Doodleberry, sat, he smiled slightly. "I loved that movie! The horse made me laugh, I used to know the words to all the songs too, until my family threatened to have me permanently gagged if I kept singing." He grinned a little. Truthfully, Tobi wasn't completely appalling, although he certainly was never going to become a professional singer. |
Skye's ears pricked up as "Tobi" spoke. She giggled in reply. |
Masie perked up when she heard a bright soprano voice ask about dinner, but she didn't want to ask about it; that just wasn't her. While she waited for Anna's reply, she thought of her favourite Disney song. "Hmm..." she said thoughtfully. "I do like 'God Help the Outcasts,' Tobi, and que bon que vous parlez français - My grandfather is a full-blooded French Canadian, so he speaks French with me a lot. I don't know a ton of French, but I'm learning." She sighed, still thinking. "I guess my favourite Disney song would have to be the 'Oo-de-Lally' from Robin Hood." She laughed and hummed a bit of it. Grinning faintly Tobi nodded a little at Doodleberry's rather eager responce. "Well not to worry you're not alone anymore! My brother'll probably kill me for saying this on television, but he was the one to force me to sit and watch every disney movie that's ever come out. Well, the animated ones anyway. Ones like High School Musical make me just a little queasy" He puled a slight face as he mentioned the movie. Really, he hated any mention of Zac Efron and or the music in the movies, they had him shuddering and clawing at his ears to try and make himself deaf just so he wouldn't have to listen.
"Vraiment? Il est bon de rencontrer un autre orateur français." Pausing he grinned a little, ducking his head in apology. "I mean, it's nice to meet someone else who can speak a little french. I've managed to stop speaking in french and english at the same time though so you won't need to worry about my bursts of french....Can I ask who I'm talking to? It's kinda hard to tell with voices coming from different places and such" He blushed lightly from embarrassment. Hearing her humming a little from the Robin Hood song, Tobi almost laughed. He remembered that song well. It was after all, his brother's favourite disney movie because of the talking animals, and the lion sucking his thumb all the time. |
"Oh! Sorry," said Maisie. She had always been good at recognizing voices, it was one of the first things she noticed about people. "Ce n'est Bing. I agree about Zac Efron; High School Musical has never been my thing either. And, Doodleberry, I'm sorry but I haven't seen every single animated Disney film... I did, however, adore a movie, not by Disney, called Milo and Otis when I was younger. It was about a cat and a dog; did anyone else ever see it? I used to love that movie." She sighed, remembering the stale popcorn she and her brothers would unearth from between the couch cushions and throw at each other while they sat in the big living room watching movies on rainy days, listening to the rain pelt the roof in big drops. |
As Anthony sat there he seemed himself to get lost in all the conversation. The voices each caught his own attention. He found himself listening rather intently until of course Maverick mentioned his name. "Well, kind sir, I thank thee for drawing me out of a daze. Also Doug was not a Disney cartoon, but Nickelodeon. One of my favorite Disney movies is the Great Mouse Detective and the song is Goodbye So Soon," Scooter beamed as he cleared his throat. Not many others had sang, but hey, it'd be fun. "Goodbye so soon
And isn't this a crime? We know by now that time knows how to fly, So here's goodbye so soon, You'll find your separate way, With time so short I'll say so long And go, So soon, Goodbye," He grinned after he finished singing. "And I must add that Bambi is awesome. In all honesty I cried almost every time I watched it... same with Fox and the Hound... Gawh I'm such a sap. And Bing, Robin Hood is so good. I've watched that one hundreds of times too... But I don't think I've ever seen Home On The Range, which is upsetting. And I do love Mulan. "I'll Make a Man Out of You" is on my work out list. It just gets me so pumped! And I have seen "Milo and Otis", so precious!" He answered commented with much enthusiasm. "Heh, sorry for the rambling," he answered with a light laugh. Scooter ran a hand threw his brown hair and chuckled. This was surely going to be interesting. All the girls that talked so far seemed really interesting. He felt a little scatter brained after the track of his conversation bouncing all over the place, but that was how he was. Unorganized and energetic. |
Not sure what to say or when to but in L!lly K!tt3n sat and listened. She decided that it would be better for her to stay quiet as everyone else was having a somewhat good time talking. She tried to think of a way to add something about herself but wasn't sure what to think about or how she would make it interesting. She didn't want to make herself sound stupid but she also didn't want to make a lie about herself. Sitting silently she loudly slammed her hands on the table as she twiddled her thumbs, the noise was by accident of course. "I wonder if anyone would notice me if I tried to say something anyways?" She said quietly, putting her eyes down as they gave a slight glint in the room.

Maverick snickered. "Wow, we're all just a bunch of Disney loving freaks. Heh, but at least we have things in common. And and whoever just spoke, we can hear. I don't recall hearing your name. Who are you? Tell us something about yourself. Ha ha, I promise I'll stop talking and hogging the spotlight."
Smiling in the dark, Maverick figured he ought to at least try to make it so everyone could talk. But he wasn't sure how he'd known if everyone had talked. This question confused him. Oh I really should stop thinking while I'm ahead. His eyes rolled while he chuckled to him. "Oh, and if any of you have any questions, please ask. I'd hate to be the question asker all the time. Milo... ah yes, he was my favorite." Smiling again, Maverick went silent. Stop hogging the light you moron! No one likes a hog! |
Hearing the guy, Maverik she had heard, say that she was heard she thought of what to say. "Well people call me L!lly K!tt3n. I don't particularly care about disney movies but I do like the stories they choose to use." She not sure if anyone had heard her slightly louder but still quiet answer. She waited to see if there were any questions for her.

Tegan had fallen silent for quite sometime; in her opinion Anastasia was and always would be a Disney movie but then they all attacked say, NO! Her face was turning pink from embarrassment, seeing how she believed it so truthfully, but she she knew that she would have to let it slide. Her foot started tapping once again, slowly at first. "Well," she started trying to come up with a question.
"What is everyone's favorite form of weather? I like thunderstorms personally. I used to be afraid of them but soon took after the rest of my family and found them comforting." She wasn't sure where the question came from, but at least it was something and it would distract them from Disney for a little while seeing as not everyone wanted to talk about it. |
"I also like thunderstorm, even those that have high winds. I still get scared but when I'm outside right by it I find that it's very calming, the wind helps as well." L!lly K!tt3n smiled as she found out that there were others who didn't like the disney movie topic and also like thunderstorms. She didn't think before she said anything, which surprised herself. She looked around stupidly, again forgetting for a second that there was no light to see anyone with.

Anthony was surprised by the tiny tiny voice he had heard and was entirely unsure of how to respond to her. So he was of course very glad when he heard Maverick take the authority on that one. He then listened as she introduced herself and found that a very interesting and complicated nickname. Though he supposed to each his own. Grinning he listened as the topic was switched to weather. "I prefer right before it thunderstorms. I guess I like wind. Windy days and nice breezes always suit me. As long as its not pulling my house down then the wind and I have a fight to pick. Oh, but I hate clouds. Bleck. I want violent winds and sunshine.," Anthony answered with a laugh. Leaning back in his chair he crossed his arms behind his head to stretch out. Sitting so still for long was killing his ADD. He would deal though, just for now.

Thinking hard, Maverick tried to picture his favorite kind of weather. "Blizzards. I love getting lost on my front porch. Ha ha. But yes, I love the wind too. Thunderstorms are pretty as well especially when purple lightning jumps across a blood red sky. I also love the rain. Just standing there in it, it seems to just wash away all my worries, sins, or tears. It's also great crying weather. No one can ever tell if you're really crying or not."
Smiling, he thought about some of his rainy day memories. Going out, screaming at the Heavens and then watching the rain splash down on his face. "Do any of you have pets? I have a White German Shepard. He's like my boyfriend. He also gets jealous when I'm around women, but he's the worst guard dog ever. He literally lets people walk into my house, stares at them, then walks away like a love struck boy." |
Tegan laughed at what Rebel was saying, at least that was who she was guessing was talking seeing as he had been going on for the longest now. "I have a Siberian Husky and a juvenile pygmy falcon, the bird is the boss though. My husky is a decent guard dog believe it or not, but that's mainly because he just can't keep quiet when people come by seeing as he thinks everyone that comes to the house comes to see him. They're both hams though, I guess I spoiled them too much."
She then shook her head before saying, "You're crazy about the blizzards. They're nice to watch and Elgar, my husky, goes crazy but the weather's too cold at that point. Though I do agree with you on the rest of your storm theory. I'm surprised many people like them. I mean, when I was little I was terrified of thunder. The bright flash of lightning would send me running because I knew what was coming after that." A small smile came to her face as she recalled this, though she didn't know why she was sharing it. "I don't know when it all changed but now I can sleep better during storms than without them." |
Anthony laughed when Maverick switched the conversation to pets. He was also laughing because blizzards were disgusting to him. For growing up where he did he hated the snow more than anyone would ever believe. It was wet and cold and soaked threw your clothes.
"I have two puppies. I asked for a puppy for Christmas and ended up with two. Their names are Oodles and Noodles. The one is a corgi and the other is well... I'm not sure, but she's super cute. She has little brown spots... Ohhh, Thumper... if I'm getting the person right. The falcon that you have sounds pretty awesome," Scooter answered with a grin. Then he scoffed at the talk of blizzards. "I hate snow.. all forms of it. It's cold. I have to shovel and it is far to wet for me. I'd take a hurricane over a blizzard," he answered with a laugh. |

Listening again L!lly K!tt3n smiled, until she noticed that there was a chance for her to speak. "I have a dog and a cat. They wanted to come with me to the show but I sent them home. Their practically my babies, I've raised them both from since they were just babies." She said again quietly, but this time it was easily heard. |

Miki sighed quietly and wondered what was going to happen after this. She looked around and blinked hard but saw nothing....the dark was starting to get to her and she began to feel lonely.
