Raien rolled his eyes. "Talking is your favorite thing to do? I find that hard to believe." He smiles.

She turned away from him, anger coming from every pore. She breathed, slowly, trying her hardest to calm herself. If she couldn't get a handle on it...well, some things are better left unknown so she kept breathing, eyes closed, concentrating on the horse in front of her, his strength. After a moment she turned and was wearing the fake smile once more. Her voice was sickly sweet. "Then lead the way, sir knight."

"Well I do talk a lot but..it's not my favorite.."She sighed..what was her favorite activity?"Well..I could name everyone elses...but I don't know my own."She said,frowing a little."Don't change the subject, whose the girl?'She said with a small smile.

Drake simply nodded and started to lead his horse down the hill, not saying anything.

Raien smiled. "What do you like to do, if you don't know your favorite? And really, she was just a girl I knew."

Kilyo followed him, trying not to exude waves of anger.

Katie sighed."I don't know um..paint?"She said and then kissing his cheek."Fine, you don;t have to tell me her name if you don't want to..even thought its really going to bother me.."She said quietly and sat down on a bench by the pond."Soo..how'd you learn to dance?"She asked, looking at their hands.

Drake walked nto the bakery, waiting for Kilyo by the door.

Raien sat down next to her. "I'm sorry, I'm just not comfortable talking about it right now. Maybe later. I learned from my parents. They made Kilyo learn and I was her dance partner ninety-five percent of the time." He smiles. "What do you like to paint?"

Kilyo smiled at Drake. "After you."

"Anything really.."She said quietly with a small smile."When Alexander was a toddler I used to take him to this pond so he could swim, I would paint while he did just so I'd be watching him."She said looking over at him with a small yawn, she laid her head on his shoulder."Do you think your sister will be okay with us getting married?"She asked quietly.

Drake walked in seeing all the pastrys."Okay, you pick one..I'll pay."

Raien leaned his head on hers, putting an arm around Katie. "I'd like to see your paintings sometime, if that would be alright. And I have no idea. I imagine she will be angry with me that I didn't tell her about it first." He sighed. "She's a handful and I dread what would happen if any man, or woman even, were to fancy her. Shed make them go for quite the spin. She likes fighting better than anything, out of what I know. And she gets angry easily." He shudders. "Bad things happen when she gets angry. She's only recently learned how to control it too." He gives her a little squeeze. "Do not worry about it. She'll accept it whether she likes it or not." He chuckles a little. "Alexander is fine with it, surprisingly. I thought maybe he would be a problem."

Kilyo nods. "Thank you." She meant it, for all she was angry with him. She looked around and picked a berry danish with whipped cream. She looks at Drake. "What are you having?"

Katie smiled a little."Well..Alexanders never really acted out of anything..he doesn't even back talk..Strane huh?"She laughed and leaned her head up,kissing his cheek."I can show you my art room when we get back."She said lightly."So..what do you remember about your parents?"

Drake looked at her and picked up a coffee."I already ate.."He chuckled and looked at a short fat man behind the counter,he had an all grey beard and no hair on his head."Here, Al."He said,throwing a few coins to him.

Raien smiled. "I'd love to see it." He looked at the pond. "They only died a year ago. So, there are a lot of memories. Kilyo is a lot like mother, though she shows more of a temper then my queen mother ever did. My father was similar to me, I suppose. Though far cooler headed. I'm still trying not to yell at Kilyo. He never did but was still effective with her. They were a good pair, I think. Fire and ice most of the time, father with the red hair, mothers was black. Thats why Kilyo and I have red hair, though darker then fathers." He sighs. "They were good rulers. I will be surprised if I can do half as well as them."

"Ah." Kilyo smiled at the man behind the counter, nodding her head in thanks. She took a bite and for a moment, she forgot her temper. "This is delicious!"

She smiled."I love your hair color.."She said,trying to brighten the mood."It's very handsome on you."She said quietly.

Drake chuckled and drank his coffee.

Raien smiled and kissed her forehead. "Thank you. The same to you. What was your childhood like?"

Kilyo stuck her tongue out at him with a smile. She had enough of being a princess and figured she didn't have to act like one right now. She bow a little to the baker. "Thank you, it truely is wonderful." She looked at Drake. "What now?"

Katie sighed."Well, my childhood was okay I guess..just my brother Cole was supposed to get married but the girl he was arranged to marry died when I was about seven so he refused to take the throne since he loved her dearly..."She said quietly and looked at the ground."Then when I turned twenty I got the throne and my husband..then Alexander came along."She laughed."But, my childhood was pretty lonely..what about yours?"She asked, blushing when he kissed her forehead.

Drake sighed."Well, it's getting late..so do you want to go to the black smiths or shops?"He asked, looking at her with a small smile.

Raien smiled slightly. "Mine was pretty lonely as well. Kilyo didn't come along until I was sixteen, so it was lonely. I didn't get to do a whole lot because of learning how to rule a kingdom and how to fight. I made a few friends but most ended up leaving because of their knighthood duties and those that didn't grew away from me. Being royal is kind of lonely, I've noticed. One reason, I think, that Kilyo acts out. At least she doesn't have to rule."

"Blacksmiths, definately. I've been needing to get another blade and I don't have one made by a Spade smith." She smiles just a little.

"Well..since my childhood was so lonely..I worked on making Alexander much better then mine..we have dinner every night and invite everyone in the kingdom..unless were at a ball..and well..this woman I knew when I was younger..had a daughter named Samantha. And when she gave birth to Samantha, she died so..I took Samantha in to be one of Alexanders friends persay..they've been bestfriends ever since. But I'm sure he still hates that I won't let him go into town that often without Drake with him..it's just that his father died so brutally that I don't want anything to happen to him.Paranoid right?"She said with a small smile and kissed his cheek."So are you going back to your kingdom today or staying another night?"

Drake nodded and took her hand that wasn't full of blueberry. He smirked and walked out of the store, walking into Autos black smith shop."Hey, Auto?"He called and then noticed the old man that was quite skinny and wrinkly step out."Hello?"He called.
Drake smiled."My friend here wants one of your famous spade swords.."
Auto looked at Kilyo."What kind of sword?"

Raien sighed. "We should go back today. Have to run it sometime." He kissed her. "If you don't mind talking about it, what exactly happened with your husband? Just so that I know."

Kilyo smiled mischievously. "What kinds do you have?" She took her hand from Drakes, not liking the fact that she actually didn't mind holding his hand. She growled mentally to herself. I'm getting soft, she thought.

She winced a little. None of the other kingdoms actually even knew her husbands name, let alone how he died."Well.. he used to visit all the kingdoms just like I did but when he went to visit the heart kingdoms village he never came back and when his body was found he had been ..sliced and chopped up..persay.."She said quietly."I don't know how he was captured..but I just know he was.."She said and whispered into his ear."I thought about going against the heart kingdom but realized they couldn't have killed him because...well..stupidity sort of runs in their family.."She said and then looked at the ground."I know its mean to say but.."She then looked up at the sky."Like clubs are so mysterious and have sorrow running threw their family..or misery..it doesn't matter..."She said and continued to look at the ground."I don't mind talking about it..I just never do.."She said softly and felt like she was going to cry."So when will I see you again..after you leave?"She asked.

Auto sighed."Well Ma'am I reckon I can make any kind of sword,curved,daggers,saw like swords..well, it doesn't matter to me..but all of them have the spade symbol engraved on them and a small saying from our town."

Raien hugged her closer to him. "You can cry if you want to, Katie. I know I would for a very long time." He kissed her head again. "I'm sorry that happened to you. At least you had your wits about you and didn't start a war. That would only have made things worse. We're getting married in a week, so I'm sure you will see me soon. I was thinking." He looked at her. "Maybe it should be a small wedding, people wise, with only the nessacary people there. That way, we'll be married and then we can do a tour of each others lands afterwards. Just an idea."

Kilyo smiled at him. "That is perfectly alright. Do you have or could you make a long thin curved blade with the tip of it being sawlike that isn't entirely obvious from far away but can be seen up close?" She knew it was kind of a far fetched idea but she had been wanting a blade like that for a very long time.

Katie felt a tear go down her cheek."Well, who said it was going to be a big wedding?"She said with a small laugh."I was only going to invite my closest friends which is OnYeen and her family..but I don't think they'll be able to come because of the things that have been happening lately..but I'd still like to invite them."She said and put her hand on Raien's chest."Your a great guy.."She said quietly and kissed his cheek."Well, how are you going to tell your people that your getting married?"She asked quietly.

Auto put up a finger."Gimme a sec.."He said and went into the back room. He came back with the exact same sword she was talking about except it had the spade symbol engraved and the saying 'The world is quiet here' On it."Like this?"He asked and handed it to her."I made it the other day but no one wanted to buy it.."

Raien chuckled. "I'll just tell my advisors and ministers and let them handle it. They've been getting bored, old, and fat with nothing to do." He hugged her tightly. "If anythings ever wrong, you can always tell me. I've gotten very good at listening."

Kilyo's eyes were twinkling red. She took the blade with an expert hand. "No one wanted to buy this? It's beautiful." She stepped away from them so that she could hold it out without impaling them. "The balance is good and it's not a heavy blade, which is good." She looked at Auto. "How would it hold up in combat? Some light blades such as these have a tendency to break under a lot of stress."

Katie frowned."Well, the only other thing bothering me is that ..I don't want you to leave.."She said, knowing she felt so much better when he was around.


Auto thought for a moment."It should hold up well..considering your friend Drake has one like it and has been to many battles with it."He said and gave her a small wink."He's still alive isn't he?"He said looking at Drake.

Drake blushed a little."Well..my swords slightly different.."He said quietly.

Raien laughed lightheartedly. "Ah, I do not want to leave but there are preparations to be made." Then he was somber. "And I still have to talk to Kilyo." He fake shuddered with a grin. "I can stay for a little longer but not terribly."

Kilyo turned to look at Drake. "And here I was thinking you'd have a huge broadsword or something silly like that. How is yours different?"

"Well, instead of mine saying 'the world is quiet here' its says, 'Draw me not without reason,Sheath me not without honor.."Drake said and looked at the ground."It was my fathers sword."He said and ran his hand threw his hair.

Katie sighed."No,no.. it's fine. I know you have to do it sooner or later..but when are you leaving?"She asked,messing with his hair again.

Kilyo smiled a real smile. "I respect that. I am glad you kept your fathers sword and the saying is an honorable one." She looked at Auto. "I would like to buy this. How much?"

Raien moved his head out of her heads playfully. "Before the late afternoon at the latest would be best. I should find Kilyo and let her...I'm afraid I have no idea where she is." He smiles at her.

Katie was still frowning since he was going to leave. She stood up and put out her hand again."Shes probably out with Drake..hes a big flirt.."She said,leaning down and kissing him."If you want..I can arrange things for the wedding, like cards to send to the people we actually want to come..flowers and outfits and such.."She said and then thought of something."But you get to pick the place where we get married."She said softly, knowing she hated picking things but..she woanted to pick her own outfit..and others.

Drake smiled a little and placed a bag of coins on the table."Thats for me to know and for you to never find out.."He muttered.
Auto smirked and took the coins under the table."Thanks Drake.Now miss, you have a good day."He said and gave her a small black leather strap that she could attach to a belt to keep the sword in."Free,"He said and turned,leaving back to his office.
Drake looked at her."Come on. We should be getting back.."

Raien stood up, holding one of her hands. "I already picked a place and if you really want to do the other things, your welcome to. I can get the place set up and make sure that it looks up to snuff." He grinned, always having liked that phrase. "And I'm picking my own outfit." He laughed. "You can do the girly things and I'll do the rest."

"Wait a minute! There's no way this could be free..." He left before she could finish. She looked at Drake. "How could it be free? The workmanship and everything, this should be expensive!" She wasn't about to move until she had an answer.
