Kilyo hugged Katie back and bid her goodnight. She turned to Drake, eyes narrowed, the red deepening, her voice was icy. "That's disgusting, Vladimir. Either your lying to me or your a damned player and I hate men like that. I will not be another notch in the world for you. I'm going to go get food. We can take the sketch in the morning." The death glare hit the hurt she felt. She turned, about to leave, hoping that maybe he was just lying to her and he'd stop her. That's ridiculous, she thought.

Drake ran and stopped her."God Kilyo, I'm sorry..I really like you so I thought I would make you jealous. But I'm taking the sketch now.."He said, turning towards the barn. He his bag closer to him since it had the sketch in it.
Katie went out on her balcony and decided to write a letter, she would send it the normal way..threw the mail..since it wasn't urgent. Dear Raien, Hello, you told me that if I wanted to stay in touch then I had to send letters..so I guess I will. So I was wondering if theres anything you would like to know before we get married?Anything at all. With all due respect, Katie Scarlett She then gave the letter to the mail carriage which soon delivered it to the Diamond kingdom. She sighed hoping he wouldn't ask about Ace..even though..he had to learn sometime. |
Kilyo scowled but turned and followed him. "Your an idiot, you know that? I mean, who would try to use that to make somebody jealous. It's stupid." She looked at him suspiciously. "Just how many girls have you taken on a picnic, Drake?"
Raien recieved the letter with other mail, so he didn't notice it right away. When he did, he opened it and read it, a smile playing on his lips. He wrote back. Dear Katie, I am glad you chose to write. Thank you. There isn't a whole lot that I haven't already asked. Well, what's your favorite food? And drink? If you have them of course. With love, Raien He sealed it and handed it to a man to deliver it when it could get there, which likely wouldn't be until the morning. He resumed his duties. |
Drake chuckled."It worked on you though..and none by the way..I havent really been able to leave the castle since the king died. I was sort of blamed for it.."He sighed.
Katie brushed her hair and changed into a large button up shirt of Aces and laid down. She sighed heavily."Ace..why'd you have to go..so soon?" |
Kilyo frowned. "Why were you blamed for the kings death? I heard it was a mystery how he had died."

"Well, the night the king died..Katie and Ace were fighting because well.. Ace wanted a daughter but at the time Katie didn't want to bring a child into this world because of all the bad things happening at the time...and she already had to protect Alexander. Well anyways, the king left to go and visit the heart kingdom and I was supposed to go with him to keep him safe but.. I didn't. He said he didn't need my help and that he was just going to clear his head...but I swear if I would've known he was going to die.."He choked a little, trying not to show any emotions." Now for the rest of my life I feel the pain of Katie and Alexander every morning.."

Kilyo looked away from him. "I'm sorry that happen, Drake. But it is not your fault. Your king asked something of you and you did it. Do not blame yourself."

"Ace was my cousin..and my best friend."He said with a heavy sigh."You should've seen the way she looked at me when I told her he was dead.."He said, staring at the ground..the agony.

Kilyo put out a hand as if to touch him, then retracted it. Her eyes flicked back and forth with thought. Then she put her hand on his upper arm, rather delicately for her. "Drake, I'm sorry. But I don't think she blames you. Grief is terrible, as you know."

Drake sighed."No, I know she blames me..probably because I hit on her the day before Ace died.."He groaned."How ewas I supposed to know he would die tragically?"

Kilyos eyes widened. "You hit her?! How could you hit her?"

"No! Hit on her..I kind of..tried to kiss her.."He said and started to walk towards the barn."You wouldn't understand.."He sighed.

Kilyo stared after him and then burst into a fit of laughter. "You...you tried to..." She started walking after him. "You tried to kiss her? Your completely bonkers!!" She grinned at him.

"Well, she was crying about Ace and I leaned in to kiss her and she pushed me off the balcony." He chuckled."Gppd thing those rose bushes stopped my fall.."He said sarcastically.

Ryu stared at the golden road and pointed,"NOW!" The army marched on.
OnYeen looked at her daughter,"Where is everyone?" Eclair smiled,"Capturing Heart, mother." OnYeen smiled,"Finally this dark soul will leave me..." |
Kilyo starting laughing again. "You fell off a balcony. Oh, now that's priceless. Got any scars from those dear roses?" She grins at him, still laughing.

"Well..yes actually." He said, lifting up his shirt and taking it off. He pointed at a long scar that went all the way down his chest."Want me to keep striping? I have plenty more scars.."He chuckled.

Kilyo blushed a little turning her back to him. "No, thank you. Shouldn't we be going?" She was trying really hard not to keep envisioning him with his shirt off. My lord, he is handsome. She shuddered, dispelling the thought.

Shadow grinned,"Now we can finally heal her!" Ryu smiled, "Indeed!" Emily nodded,"Now then..." She looked for the herb. |

Kilyo turned back around and scowled, realizing that she was going to have to deal with his...body until he put a shirt back on. She sighs. "Yes, hang on." She whistled loudly and her stallion came running from where he had been grazing. She mounted him, hands tangling in his mane. She raised an eyebrow. "Are you ready yet? Sheesh." |
