Biography – Jai was born into a family in the middle of a total of 13 children. From a very young age he could fix any thing that had an engine always knowing what was exactly wrong. At 15 Jai was kicked out of his high school for binding all of the bullies to the rafters of the gym. His parents decided that it was a cry for attention but when it happened a total of 15 times, they decided that he needed to go somewhere. So his parents sent him to St. Aether Elemental Finishing School.
Personality – Jai tends to stray from the norm liking to indulge in electronics and is quite shy when in comes to the opposite sex. Though if a girl gets him alone he will show his true nature that he is a sweetheart. Since he is a very neat and organized person he tends to get very annoyed with those that are messy. Biography - Krista was raised at a beach house of a very wealthy family, a very political wealthy family. Because of this she had to behave and not put even a toe out of line, so when for some reason she kept having an attraction to any source of water that kept getting her into trouble, her parents sent her away. They tried sending her to different boarding schools where she didn't change. She was incredibly well behaved unless there was water nearby where she went into a kind of trance of fascination that would cause her to splash people that startled her. Finally her parents found the St. Aether Elemental Finishing School and decided to send her away to it as there last hope of not having her interrupt there political careers, as she seemed to improve her control they started to send her an allowance. She never touched it besides folding the money up and putting it in a safe with anything else she found precious that she didn't want touched by her or anyone else unless she had to.
Personality - Krista comes across as very shy, or in some cases it's interpreted as emotionless. In fact it is just her keeping as many emotions as she can locked inside because she has had keeping herself in line impounded into her since birth. If she is near water though she can be caught smiling and enjoying the sea breeze. She is a very gentle person and is rarely angered. One child when she was young teased her and found out that her anger is just the opposite of her normal formality. In fact it's even scary, but that may just be the effect of how terrifying water can be at its ultimate power and anger.

Krista pulled the metal necklace that Azure had given her up around her neck and let it slide under her shirt. He'd left an hour ago but she was still waiting for her limo to arrive. How annoying was that. Spring break and she had to go home to a house that hated her, and a world she didn't belong in.

She pulled her long blond hair up into a ponytail. Lately she had been wearing it down as she got more and more relaxed being the person she wanted to be, and not the person she had been forced to be by her parents. She smiled into the small mirror thinking about the first night she had met Azure and how sweet he had been. They had become friends fast, and than... She smiled happily and looked herself over in the mirror. Time to go home. She had to be prim and proper there still. She hoped that they wouldn't drain all the fun that she'd been learning to have right back out of her.

With an audible sigh she picked up the small bag that she had packed to take home with her and walked out onto the lawn of St. Aethers. At least she would be back in a week or so, it wouldn't be that long away from the place that she actually fit in. Her blue eyes scanned the grounds to see if she recognized any of the students that were still left waiting for rides.

Jason was walking out to his car after meeting jaz's parents. They were a lovely couple and seemed to like him except for his pink hair. They smiled and were very pleasant to him though he could sense their resentment towards him. Not only that but he was about to find out how long range the metal user phones he had would work, jaz lived halfway across the country and he was staying here since his parents were not home because his grandmother was sick. He was only here because they couldn't afford to send him home and pay for her hospital stay.

While he was walking to his car he noticed krista standing there in her conservative outfit and her hair up in her classic ponytail. When he got closer he looked at her and smiled i could have sworn she should have been gone by now because her parents were so meticulous about their schedule. "Hey krista, do you remember me?" smiling as he nudged her gently with tossing his ruck-sack on the ground next to them.

Krista sighed, trying not to let the blush creep into her face or her voice. She saw Jason around constantly because of him and Azure both being metal users. Though after the first few days she'd tried to avoid him. He was cute, and pretty nice, but he had a girlfriend, and she had a boyfriend. That and despite their best efforts him and Jaz were obviously dating.

"Hi Jason, of course I remember you." She bit her lip not sure if that had come off as rude or not. "I would have thought you would have gone by now. Zooming off in that car of yours." She bit her lip again, fighting off laughter. "I don't know how in the world you managed to sneak off campus so many times, that thing makes so much noise."

"Well you know when your an upper class-man and get 4.0's in all of your classes your granted a few liberties by the dean of the school." jason always liked krista but he couldn't do that to azure. "Where is azure? i didn't get to say goodbye to him i sure hope he hasn't left yet." smiling he seemed to do that a lot around the girls of the school, but by far more around jaz and krista.

"I haven't left yet because im not leaving this spring break, my grandma is in the hospital and my parents aren't home and after the incident that azure has told you about happened im not allowed to stay alone." looking around he noticed that his car had a minor dent in it but he would fit that later thanks to matt's teaching. "Speaking of leaving why haven't you. I thought your parents would have your limo here first thing in the morning like always. Did that happen to forget about their beautiful little princess?" nudging her knowing that it might tweak her the wrong way a little.

"Azure left about an hour ago. But i'm sure he'll be back after the break so you can talk to him than." She fell silent and a blush crept into her face as she listened to his story.

"Oh, i'm so sorry. I hope she gets better." She bit her lip her eyes narrowing as he mentioned her parents. "My parents will be here..." She couldn't finish the sentence, she knew that it was a complete and total lie, her parents didn't care two cents about her, they would send the butler, or one of the maids to get her. But in the limo so that it seemed all perfect. The blush didn't leave her cheeks though as he called her a beautiful princess. One because it was a straight out flirt, and two because it ticked her off.

Her parents would never think of her like that. Ever. In their entire politically filled lives.

Jai leaned over and looked at her face "Well what do i see with my little eyes, i think your cheeks are rosier than my hair." holding up a lock to compare them. "Yup definitely redder than my hair." smiling yet again then loosing the smile. "So what time are they going to be here, I certainly can't leave my friends gf alone with all the other guys staring at her." looking around noticing that there were a few guys glancing at her cute little butt.

"Oh can you give me a minute." he asked as he spotted another metal user and flagged him down. Jai talked to him for a few minutes always keeping his eyes on krista. Shaking the other guy's hands he jogged back over to krista "Well i can see that the princess is still here." then he took out an actual cell phone holding it out to her "You should call them to see if you need to put your stuff back in the dorms or not."

"Just cause your a little flirt doesn't mean i actually like it." She couldn't stop the blush from sticking to her cheeks and she looked away from him down the road. "I don't know." She mumbled finally after a pause where she tried to get her emotions back in check. "They should be here any min- they're WHAT?!" She lost control on the redness in her cheeks and spun around to look but Jason was already jogging off to talk to someone.

She glared at the back of his head and than turned back around in a huff. Stupid cute metal user. She chanced a glance back at him seeing as her limo still wasn't here to pick her up.

"I'm not a princess." She murmured as he came back over. Out of the corner of her eye she saw him pull out a cell phone and hold it out to her. She of course had been avoiding looking at him. "Oh.. yeah I guess I better." Taking the phone she dialed home and walked off a bit.

When she came back there were tears in her eyes but a forced non emotional look to the rest of her face. "I'm going back to the dorms. Thanks." She held the phone back out to him.

"I'm sorry for calling you princess but i only call you that because you remind me of one." taking the phone but his hand touched hers causing him to smile yet again. "Do you need any help getting your luggage back into your room?" looking her in the eyes. Picking up his ruck-sack and throwing it into his car then walking back to krista. "I'm sure i should protect you this week but in order for me to do that you would have to come with me or i would have to cancel my trip." smiling "well would you like to come with me to a cabin owned by the school that i reserved with my good grades?"

Krista got a little flustered as he continued to flirt with her. Her heart caught in her throat as he looked her in the eyes. "Really, I'm not a princess and I don't need protecting." She rolled her eyes at that one. "We're in a school learning offense and defense with magic, do you really think I'll need protecting." Needless to say though, her eyes followed him to his car and back to her and she swallowed when he asked her to stay with him.

"I suppose I could, I wouldn't get in trouble for it would I?" She lifted up her single small bag from the ground and slid it over one shoulder letting it sit on her hip. Biting and nibbling nervously on her lip she looked at him. "I guess it wouldn't hurt anything."

"Please tell me you have something other than that outfit in that little bag of yours. As you could see my pack had a lot of things in it because i will be there for a week." Jai looked at krista wondering if she had anything cute in there. "If you don't we better get to the nearest store and buy you some clothes and boots so that you can hike to the cabin." looking at her and taking her small bag from her hands then offering his arm so he could escort her to his car. "We may be the only ones there but i doubt it, if your on the honor roll you can come up but i have the only bedroom because it goes to the one the dean picks and thats me always because he is a friend of the family."

"Oh and no we wont get in trouble because your on the honor roll don't bother asking how i know it would take to long to explain it to you. Also we may be able to use magic but let me tell you at the cabin its a nature users dream and a water users night mare, but i always have my element on me in enough supply" shaking his clothing and allowing her to hear the metal plates inside of it clang heavily against one another.

Krista blushed, "No, I'm going to need to go back to the dorm and pack something. I was just going to use the clothes that I still have at home." She paused, "Umm. I don't have any boots." Looking down at the ground as he took her arm to escort her to the car she smiled.

"It sounds like it will be fun even so. Is there no lake near by or anything? Completely just woods?" Krista's mind wandered thinking that maybe it wasn't a good idea, but at the same time she was making a list in her head of what to pack to go on the trip with him.

"Well, as long as I won't get into trouble, I can get my stuff packed and come with you."

Nodding "We can go to the store and get you a pair of boots then head out after you pack. Ill take you over to the dorms in the car." jai said to her as he opened the passenger door, "oh don't mind the seat belt its a five point system to protect myself and my navigator during the rally races." jogging over he started the car using his powers rather then the key, then drove over to the dorm parking lot. "I will be down here waiting for you, oh bring bedding otherwise it will just be mattress on your side of the bed." turning the car off in front of her building.

My side of the bed? Her eyes widened as she climbed out of the car. Somehow that hadn't clicked in when he had said there was one bedroom. With slightly shaking hands she unlocked the door to her room and went in to pack. She quickly grabbed the box from under her bed with a bag and started throwing clothes in on top of it, hesitating only slightly at one of the things she had grabbed.

It was a dress she had bought to wear for Azure, what had led her to grab that. Her hand shook again as she stared at it her lips parted slightly. "No..It's just a trip over spring break. Nothing wrong with that." She continued and came back out with a small suitcase and her bag from before.

"Okay Jai, i'm ready." She bit her lip realizing she had called him by his nickname instead of his proper name. "Sorry, just slipped out." She gave him one of her small smiles and put the suitcase in the backseat. Herself climbing into the front.

While waiting for kritsa, jai popped the hood and inspected the engine using his powers that he had learned from matt and found that he would need to get 2 quarts of oil and one thing of engine cleaner. Sighing he closed the hood then took out the pendant jaz had given him for his birthday he then kissed it and tried to get a hold of jaz over their metal user phones. When that failed he knew that she was out of range and decided to think of ways to extend the range to well over that of a cell phone.

When krista walked up he got back in the car and looked over at her, "Off to the store we go then." putting the key in this time because he couldn't focus he then smiled as the engine turned over quite easily. Driving down the road at the speed limit which wasn't at all natural for him. Just paying attention to the road he said "so have you ever been camping krista? oh and don't worry about calling me jai its perfectly fine all the metal users call me that even mr. blue."

Krista didn't bother buckling because she never had to in the limo, it just wasn't something she was used to having to do. And his five point... whatever he called them were even more foreign looking to her. For a little while down the road she stayed silent looking at her hands in her lap. But when he talked directly to her she looked up and shook her head. "No, I was raised to be prim, proper, neat and orderly. Camping isn't exactly considered any of those things. "

She held the bag she had originally been carrying in her lap and now she opened it and dug through it. It was clearly more of a purse than a bag. Finally she found what she was looking for and pulled out a 10 dollar bill. "Boots won't cost more than ten right?" It was money she had earned herself, and she didn't want to admit that she had a lot more money on her. She would pull it out as needed. Gulping she looked over at his serious face watching the road.

"I'm sorry but i must inform you that then dollars will not be enough to even by you the soles of boots let alone the entire thing. If you don't have enough i have a bit i could use to buy you your late or early birthday present. Azure didn't tell me when it was so im sorry if i missed it." finally jai was smiling "Hang on to your seat" as he drove he sped up around the turns taking them like he normally would doing them at twice there recommend limit.

Finally arriving at the mall not to far away from the school he got out then went around and opened krista's door. Offering his arm again treating her like a lady he escorted her into the mall to a store similar to bass pro shop. "So do you know what your shoe size is?" he asked her as he took her right to the boots "Well pick one out that you like then the guy will get them and have you try them on." sitting down he noticed a pack he liked so he walked over and took it down feeling how weak the metal was he put it back. Then walking back over to her "so have you made a choice yet?"

Taken aback slightly she stared at him, "hiking boots really cost that much?" She sat back in her seat in surprised silence. "No no no, don't worry about it. I have the money. I just thought... hold on why?" Her eyes widened as he sped up taking the turns at ridiculous speeds. In which she grabbed the seat and clung, her knuckles white.

"Are you trying to kill us!" She yelled as they finally stopped swinging around corners. Her voice was shaky, for being scared, and for yelling, something that she never does. Still shaking as they came to a parked stop she sat in her seat staring at the dashboard calming her nerves.

Next thing she knew he was opening her door and holding out his arm for her like a proper gentlemen. "oh... Jason. You are insane." She said through a gritted teeth smile, that somehow still looked mostly real. As she let him lead her through the store she stared around in a amazement. It wasn't like she had really been in a mall before either and the place seemed to packed and busy, and well, rather cramped. She saw a fountain out of the corner of her eye and squeaked with excitement turning to look at it but it quickly went out of view as she was led into the store.

"Yeah. six." She looked at the huge collection of shoes and mulled them over as he walked away, finally picking out one and pointing as Jai came back. "That one looks nice."

"Oh sorry about spacing out but you did hear the part about me being a rally racer? It means i race that car that is parked outside at much higher speeds then that and yes if your thinking it i have crashed once thats how i got this." lifting up his pants leg showing her that a section of his shin was covered with metal. Walking over to the store associate he asked for the pair krista liked in a 5,6 and 7 just to be sure he found the ones that fit her just right. The guy brought them out to jai and he walked over with the 3 boxes.
"okay krista try on all three pairs starting with the 6 and make sure it fits good because its a 4 mile hike to the cabin." smiling as he sat back down to watch how krista would react.

"A...four...mile...hike." She stared at him taking the shoes with ever so slight a shake to her hand. "You can't be serious." He's going to murder me on ACCIDENT out here! She shot him a brief glare that was quickly covered by her political facade that takes over her when she shows emotions.

Sitting down in one of those mirror sided chairs she took off her high heels and slid on the size six hiking boots. They seemed to fit okay and she laced it up and put on the other one standing up. They felt so awkward and clunky after her petite shoes. "I .. think they fit?" She looked up at him with a face that said 'what the hell are these things and what are you getting me into!'

"Oh im serious princess" jai then bowed to her smiling. "Do you guys have any stairs or something that has an incline to it so she can try out the boots?" the employe pointed at the ramps that varied in degree. "Thanks, ok go climb each and tell me if your foot moves around even a little bit." still sitting down he started to play with some metal from his clothes and formed a tiara. Sneaking up on krista he put it on her head smiling "there now you really are a princess."

Krista blew an invisible piece of hair out of her eyes in exasperation. "You can't be serious..." She shot a glare at him, both for the comment and the ramps but obliged and went over to test them. "They move a little bit."

She let out a sigh and was about to turn around when Jai placed something on her head making her jump. "You... will you cut it out I'm not a princess!" Though the blush in her cheeks said she liked the attention. Her hand went up to her head feeling the tiara to see what it was. .

Walking away quickly he grabbed a pair of thick hiking socks and tossed them to krista. "Here put these on then try the test on the ramps again, and lace them up tightly." smiling while watching he walked over to her then he took her hand and spun her like he was dancing with her. "Well that was a nice spin. Meet me by my car to leave once you get the shoes you need the car is right out the door right there. I need to get some items to fix my car and will be there once i get them."

Walking out of the store he started running and eventually he formed roller blades out of metal because he needed to get across the mall and back in only a couple of minutes. Taking out his cell he called the store and told them to have his stuff ready, since they were his sponsor for his racing car it wouldn't cost him anything. Skating by he grabbed the bag and really pushed himself to make it back. Damn im out of shape as he made it to his car just to watch krista come out of the mall. He popped the hood of his car and put the two quarts of oil in the engine then poured the engine cleaner in the gas tank. "So princess did you find what you want?" looking over and winking at her still on his roller blades.

"Ahh!" She barely caught the socks that Jai tossed at her and she moved back to the seat to put them on and retry the shoes., instantly they felt alot snugger and comfier on her feet. Though they were still big awkward and clunky. Walking on the ramps again she squeaked as Jai caught her hand and took her into a spin. She barely stayed on her feet stumbling around as she got used to the new shoes.

Blushing crimson and out of breath from being startled than swung around she looked at him with a look of surprise and awkwardness on her face. But before she could even catch her breath or get used to the sudden odd dancing he left the store leaving her standing there very confused. "Okay, see you in a bit." She said it outloud even though he probably couldn't hear her.

Buying the hiking boots after a bit she went out to the car trying her hardest not to get distracted by the water fountain inside the mall. Jason had some oil on his hand that he was half waving at her. "Yeah, the princess' found hiking boots." She glared at him.

Wiping is hand off with a towel "So where are your old shoes?" looking at her hiking boots then grabbing a bottle of water for both himself and krista handing hers to her once she got in the car. "So now we are off to the cabin which is right on the lake" smiling at her he knew that would cheer her up.
