((Right.. well nice to see you waited =/ Since this is happening to your character, its best you play some of it too, I'm not doing all the work.))

Closing his eyes and falling quiet, Orion went unnoticed to a group of thugs walking from the darker parts of the forest (no doubt where their hideout was) and into the park. From the smell they carried with them, smoke and booze, they'd probably just come from some sort of party. One of the group seemed to be having trouble walking straight though wore an almost constant lopsided grin.

As he stumbled into the park with the others, his eyes scanned the area, looking for other signs of like. Only one other guy? Well that was lame, but atleast they had someone to annoy. Grin still in place, he hobbled over to Seth with the group.

Seth looked at the approching thugs. He stood up. He really didn't want to have to fight them. He started backing away from them, but they surrounded him. "Look. I really don't want to fight." he said.

"No one cares what you want." one thug said. They advanced on him.

The one with the lopsided grin seemed to think Seth was hilarious and laughed at him. "Awh, but thats no fun." The male then paused and tutted under his breath. "Don't want to fight.. or can't fight? Your not one of those wimps, are you? I bet your the sort of guy that closes his eyes and just swings his fists, hoping to hit something. That sound about right?"

"N-No! I just don't think that fighting is necessary!" Seth exclaimed.

"Oh.. I don't think so. I just think your a wimp."

"I am not a wimp!" Seth exclaimed. He was silent for a moment. He really didn't want to fight, but he hated being called a wimp. So the only thing he could do was fight.

((Right.. well since I seem to be the only one playing a thug, I'm just going to skip ahead a bit.))

The voices of the group were loud enough to be picked up by Orion. Whoever they were picking on was clearly not enjoying it. Boredom got the better of him and he jumped from the tree and approached the group quietly. As one raised his first, ready to attack, Orion grabbed it tightly and yanked it back, causing the male to stumble backwards and fall.

Seth looked at the man who had come. It was the same one he had run into eariler. He was surprised to see him again.

Orion managed to fight off several other thugs too before the rest ran away, tails between their legs. Seeing the guy from earlier was the one in trouble, he simply rolled his eyes and turned, slowly walking away.

Seth watched the fight in silence. He saw the man turn and start walking off. "Hey...Thanks for the help...." he said. He wasn't used to people helping him. So it was a little weird for him.

Hearing the thanks, Orion stopped and looked over his shoulder at the male. Wasn't every day someone actually bothered thanking him. So he gave an idle shrug of his shoulders. "Don't mention it."

"Why did you help me in the first place? No one ever helps me." Seth asked. He was confused about to why the man had helped him. So he needed to know the reason.

Orion just gave an idle shrug of his shoulders. "I don't know. Because I felt like it, I guess." That, and bullys really irked him.

"I see.........What's your name?" Seth asked. He was curious about him. But that was probably because he was the first person to ever help him.

The male turned to face him, arms folded loosely across his chest. "Orion." He said simply, then paused. "Who're you?"

"Seth......You have a strange name." Seth said. He didn't want to be rude about it, but that was a name he has never heard before.

"Its strange?" That was something he'd never been told before, his Sire had been very fond of his name when he gave it to him. "Its not my real name, I was.. given it by a 'friend'." Now that he thought of it, he couldn't remember his human name, but obviously it hadn't been good enough to be carried through to his vampire life.

"Why would you let someone else choose your name? Unless it was your parents...." Seth asked. That was something he didn't understand.

"Its.. a little hard to explain." He wasn't about to tell a virtual stranger he was a vampire and then start to explain the vampire way of life. "You've never had a nickname that stuck? I suppose its like that.. sorta."

"Well.....I've never had a nickname....My name's to short. But I supposed it would be the same thing." Seth said.

"Any name no matter how long or short can have a nickname." Orion pointed out. "Seth can be shortened to just 'S' and it would make sense."

"Well....I never though of it like that...." Seth said. Though noone has ever tried to give him a nickname. Nobody seemed to care enough about him to be his friend.

Orion simply shrugged his shoulders. "You need to open your mind a bit, experience new things and you'll learn a lot."

"What kind of new things?" Seth asked. He wanted to know what Orion thought he should be doing. Though he wasn't sure why.

"Well I don't know, I'm not you." Orion turned to fully face Seth now, hands buried in his pockets once again searching for his light. "What exactly do you do with yourself? I mean.. do you work or what do you do?"
