"Babe, don't look at him...look at me babe, look at me." he said and continued to run off as fast as he could, and since he was thin, he ran pretty fast. He looked around and needed to find the police station and tell them what was going on. "Why does this have to happen now!" he said angrily and looked down at Tara.
"Don't worry love, I won't let anything happen to you...I'll protect you with my own life!" he said and continued to run. |
Tara nodded and looked up at him. "I am sorry. This is all my fault." she said sadly. She clung to him then looked back up at him. "Lethal please stop. You don't have to carry me" she said and put a hand on his cheek. "I don't want you to hurt your self" she said and kissed his other cheek.

"I'm not stopping, I'll carry you everywhere just to keep you safe." he said and continued to run.
"And this is not you're fault, it's no one's fault...my father is just one crazy guy...I would talk to him, but I don't think he wants to talk." added Lethal as he continued to run. He was getting tired, but he pushed himself to go further. If you want to keep her safe, don't stop running. he thought to himself. |
"ok but please take a break. I know you are getting tired." Tara said looking up at him worried. "lethal just go into the forest. He wont find us." she said seeing he was getting tired. "I don't want you to fall over on me." she said looking at him worried.

"A break? Fine..." he said and ran deep into a forest and lay her down before collapsing beside her. His breathing was hard and his heart was racing. He held her close to him and relaxed but looked around to see if he saw his father.

Tara put her head on his chest and wished he didn't have to run and carry her. "Lethal please relax. He isn't coming now." she had never hear someone's heart race that fast and she was worried for him. "It's ok we are fine" she said and looked him in the eyes and put her hand on his cheek.

"No, you don't know him...he'll do anything to get his hands on you. But I won't let him." he said shaking his head and holding her close as he held back tears.
"I won't let him hurt you like he hurt my mother....I won't let him hurt those I love anymore! I didn't get to save her because he injected me and I blacked out...when I woke up, she was dead. He wants that to happen again, but I won't let him...I'm going to protect you till I die." he whispered and he placed a hand on her cheek. His hand was shaking from the fear. |
"Lethal" Tara whispered and hugged him tightly. She couldn't believe a father wanted to take everything away from his only child. "We could go live with my patents." she offered hating seeing him like this. The almost crying and shaking in fear. "I can make you a merman then we would never have to worry about your father." she said looking up at him. "And Lethal you will see your mother again some day. I am sure of it" she said looking him in the eyes.

"Tara, as much as I want to live with your parents...I don't see myself as a person that would permanently live underwater...besides, do you think your parents will like me?" he asked and didn't want there to let go of him right now.
"The only time I'll see my mother is in my dreams, and when I die..." he whispered. |
"They would love you" Tara said and kissed his cheek. "Well I can see you as a merman. You look just as hansom but with a tail and no shirt" she said smiling up at him. "Well I don't know what humans believe but we merpeople believe no one truly dies. They just leave for a little while but come back. Maybe not in the same form but they come back." she said and put her hand back on his cheek. "I am sure you will see your mother sooner then what you think." she said and kissed him softly.

"Okay...I guess that's the only way to get away from my father...I'll think about it and trust me...I'll let you know my decision. I promise." he said quietly and snuggled close to her.
He kissed her back and lay down quickly falling to sleep with her in his arms tightly. |
Tara smiled and snuggled closer to him. SHe wasn't going to go to sleep and give his father a chance to get them. She didn't think he was out there but she didn't want to risk it. She smiled at Lethal. He looked so cute asleep. She smiled and took a sip of her potion feeling it wearing off.

Lethal continued to sleep. When the morning, he looked up at Tara.
"Good morning love...you didn't sleep did you?" he asked looking at her with a slight frown on his face then kissed her deeply before pulling away and waiting for an answer. |
"no I couldn't." Tara said after kissing him back. "how did you sleep though?" she asked looking him in the eyes. SHe took another sip of potion but bigger this time so she wouldn't have keep taking it. "What did you dream about?" she asked wondering what went on in his head at night.

I slept well...and I dreamt about my mother. Come...let's go now.." he said kissing her back. He got up and helped Tara up then grabbed their things and continued to walk through the forest.
"I have no idea where we're going, but we have to leave before my father finds us..." he said as he held her hand and walked. |
Tara nodded and kissed his cheek. "It's ok. I am sure we will find a town sooner or later. it might help if we keep the road in sight but stay in the cover of the forest" she said and looked behind them hearing something. but to her relief it was only a bunny. "I am glad I am here with you" she siad getting closer to him a little scared of the forest.

"Babe....I will go become a merman with you if it means keeping you safe." he said and stopped walking and kissed her deeply. He didn't want to stop kissing her, he really wanted to take her.

Tara was shocked at what he said he would become a merman. She kissed him back and pulled back slightly. "Are you sure? I don't want you to think I am forcing you too" she siad looking at him hoping he was saying yes because he wanted to become a merman and not because she really wanted him too.

"I want to...I want to love you, meet your parents, and keep you safe." he said and kissed her again passionately. He really didn't care anymore, he just wanted to keep her safe and love her.

Tara smiled and kissed him back. SHe pulled back slightly then smiled. "then follow me" she whispered and taking his hand she lead his to the ocean. She walked in and once the water was up to her chest she turned to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled. "are you ready?" she asked looking him in the eyes. She couldn't believe he was going to be a merman. They could live forever together and happily too.

"Will I be able to bring my jacket and family photo? And you're parents live here?" he asked and looked at her lovingly. he was pretty excited to turn to a merman but worried at the same time. What if his parents didn't like him? He looked back at the forest and wondered where his father was but then looked back at Tara with a smile.

"Yes of course you can bring your jacket and photo" Tara said smiling. "Don't worry. Your father wont be able to find us and my parents will love you" she said and kissed him lovingly. "Now to become a merman you have to make love to me, a mermaid, in water." she said between kisses. She had wanted him when he had first kissed her deeply so she was happy they had to ow.

Lethal quickly put on his jacket (from the picture) and grabbed his photo then went back to her and smiled as he kissed her passionately.
"Whatever you want love...I thought I had to just kiss you underwater, but if you want me to take you....I won't argue." he said smirking. |
"No that is only if you want to be a merman for a little bit. But if you want to live with my parents underwater then you have to become a full merman" Tara said pulling back slightly and looked him in the eyes. She wanted him to know that and be ok before she kissed him any more passionately.

"Oh...okay then." he said and continued to kiss her then massaged her sides gently licking her tongue with his own.
