Lethal nodded.
"I will, I promise."he said and left to the house. Once he got home, he quickly changed into his pajamas, and lay in bed. He looked at the celing and hoped that his father didn't hurt her. After talking to his mother on a photo he had of her, he fell to sleep quickly. |
Leona sighed watching him go. She went to the bottom of the tank and curling up she fell asleep. She had gone to the bottom not wanting his father to get her.

Lethal slept soundly and he dreamt of nothing but to see his mother again. she was so beautiful and kind to him. That all ended when his father accidentally killed her. Why had he hurt her? why did he make her an experiment?
Lethal sadly had none of the answers to the questions....but he just hoped his mother was looking down at him and was in a better place full of happiness. |
Tara woke in the middle of the night wanting Lethal. She sighed and laid there looking up at the celling. She missed him. She hoped he would be able to move her tank to his room so she wouldn't have to leave him. Then suddenly hands grabbed her. Lethal's father had grabbed her and threw her on the table in the lab. "Alright now that Lethal is away from you I can test on you more." he said and injected her with a red fluid. Tara screamed in shock and pain but then blacked out.

Lethal continued to sleep peacefully. He was comepletely un aware of what was happening to tara. He dreamed of his mother walking with him to the park and pushing him on the swing. He loved her and missed her very much but he knew that she would always be watching and was in a better and safer place.

Tara woke as his father gave her another injection. She sat strait up and gave a blood curdling scream of pain. She fell back and started writhing in pain. "Spot please." she screamed. "I don't think so" he said smirking. "Please....Lethal help" she screamed at the top of her lungs praying her would hear her.

His alarm clock went off and he angrily turned it off. He crawled out of bed and went to check on his lovely Tara. He arrived at the lab and heard her screaming.
"Bad dream?" he told himself and entered. Lethal was in shock as he saw what his father was doing. He quickly ran to where they were and looked at his father. "Father, what are you doing! leave tara alone!" he yelled. |
"Son she is an experiment and that is what I am doing." His father said and injected her again. Tara stopped writhing but blacked out and started to bleed. "Now go get me a vile so I can analyze her blood." his father said.

Lethal sighed and grabbed a vile and handed it to him.
"Well can I have her back when you're done taking her blood?" he asked nervously. He looked at Tara and hoped she was okay. |
"Of course. Tat is one of the experiments. I am seeing the human mermaid relationship. And you are helping me on that very nicely." his father said smirking. He then took some of her blood then left for the lab to analyze it. Tara woke with a scream then seeing Lethal she reached out for him. "Lethal" she whispered and tried to get to him but couldn't.

Lethal held her hand and kneeled beside her.
"Tara, you'll be okay...But I just was told that if I continue to love you, I continue to help my father with his experiments...I don't know what to do anymore."he said and kissed her deeply. "I won't break up with you though...not even if they put a gun to my head..."he added and kissed her nose. |
Tara kissed him back and smiled. It was nice to know he cared enough about her to never break up with her. "Lethal then we need to run away. That is all I can think of" she whispered and stroked his cheek. She was still in pain but being near Lethal made the pain less. "Sorry for the blood" she said looking down at herself.

"I guess, but I don't want to leave my father. He's the only thing that I have of family..."he whispered and held her hand that stroked his cheek.
"You shouldn't be sorry, blood is natural..."he said and smiled. |
"But Lethal family don't inject their other family or kill them in some experiment." Tara said softly not wanting him to get angry or get upset. She didn't want him to get hurt anymore. It tore at her heart knowing his father had hurt him so many times before.

"That's true..."he whispered and kissed her again deeper and didn't stop.

Tara kissed him back. She wrapped her arms around him pulling herself closer. She never wanted to stop kissing him but pulled away hearing something. "well isn't this precious" Lethal's father said smirking. Tara's eyes widened seeing him pull a needle out. She quickly pushed both down but his father got her in the back. She screamed in pain and looked down at Lethal then blacked out. "Dang it. That poison was ment for you." he said but really he had just knocked her out.

"You POISONED her!" he yelled. he couldn't believe what his father had said. He looked at his father then at Tara.
"Why father?" he asked holding back tears. "You said you wanted me to be happy and you poisoned my girlfriend!" he yelled. |
"Because you were going to run away with her. And I need you." HIs father siad looking at him with little emotion. "And plus son you don't need a mermaid as a girlfriend. THey are only good as experiments and pets." he said and kicked Tara's tail out of his way.

"But I love her!" he said with a shaky voice. He picked her up and carried her to the basement where he placed her in her tank.
"Well, now that you killed her I'll stay..." he said quietly as tears rolled down his cheeks. |
"To right you will" His father said and left. Tara woke slowly and seeing Lethal crying she swam to the surface and put a hand on his shoulder. "Lethal what is the matter?" she asked softly not knowing what had happened.

He looked up at her and his eyes went wide.
"I thought you were dead..." he said and kissed her deeply and held her close to him. "I thought he had killed you..."he whispered and didn't let go of her. |
"What?" Tara was confused but she held Lethal tightly. "I never died he just made me black out." she siad and rubbed his back lovingly. "I love you too much to die." she said and put her head on his shoulder.

"He lied to me...." he said plainly. he rand a hand up and her back and stroked her long white hair.
"I love you Tara...I'll protect you with my life." he said and kissed the top of her head. |
Tara looked into his eyes. "and I will yours." she siad then hearing a noise she looked at him. "Are we going to run or not?" she asked quietly having a feeling his father didn't want them to leave.

"No, we'll wait and see what he does now..."he said and kissed her for a long while before pulling away and keeping her close. He knew his father would be furious, but wanted to see what he would do now.
