As she swam away he began to cry and chased after her.
"Tara wait!" he called to her. He didn't want her to go, he had promised to stay with her and she had too.
Tara don't go! I'll go get you then... he thought to himself and his pants were soaked as he continued to run after her. It seemed that she didn't love him anymore. Maybe all this was just a big lie. This love was not real apparently , and she seemed to ignore his calls for her to wait.
Tears still rolled down his face and he walked back home slowly.

Tara got back home and her parents hugged her tightly but she said nothing or hugged them back. She went to her room and laid down on her bed. She couldn't believe she had left Lethal and now she felt nothing. She laid there no tears heart broken and felt lonely. She fell asleep and saw his face smiling at her, then him helping her that first time she saw him.

Lethal returned home, grabbed some clean clothes and went straight to the shower. He stood there and let the water hit him, and he cried.
"Why did she leave me!" he whispered angrily.

Tara woke seeing Lethal dying. She then got up and knew she had made the wrong decision in leaving. She had only made things worse. She grabbed a bunch of vials like the one she had before and swam back to the beach. She drank one and then surfaced. She pulled the shirt she had grabbed on and then ran back up the hill. She got to the house and some how opened the door. She ran around looking for Lethal's room. Soon she found it and heard him in the shower. She sat on the bed waiting for him to get out.

Lethal got out and changed. He then went to the kitchen but couldn't eat anymore out of deppression and anger, so he went to his room.
Once he entered his room the tears returned when he saw tara on his bed. He locked the door behind him and ran over to her and held her in his arms.
"Why did you leave me?!" he whispered as tears rolled down his cheeks and he kissed her and didn't stop.

Tara started crying also and hugged him tightly. "I thought it was for the best.....I am so sorry it only made things worse for me." she whispered and kissed him back. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled herself closer. "I was only gone for a few hours but it felt like years..." she whispered. "I love you so much." she said and ran a hand threw his hair.

"I forgive you love, but my father is going to talk to me soon and I don't want him to know you're here...so I have a plan...don't ask just wait." he said and sat her on the bed and left the room but locked the door to his room from the inside.
He then went to look for his father and forced tears to come to his eye which wasn't hard at all since he was still crying from when she returned.

Tara nodded and sat on his bed. After a little while she started to look at his things. She smiled seeing them. LEthal's father walked up stairs and saw Lethal crying. "Why are you crying boy?" he asked walking up to him.

"She's gone...she is nowhere to be found...I went to the beach and she was no there ...she's gone." he said and the tears came naturally now.

"Oh don't worry Lethal I will get you another mermaid." His father said and hugged him. "I will go right now if you want." he said having another nice moment.

He shook his head. No...I'm fine...you can go get another one to experiment on if you want...he said and hugged him back wishing he was like this all the time.

"na I am done with mermaids....I am now onto fish" He said then looked at his son. "I promis you will get over her." he said then went to his lab. Tara started going threw his drawers getting a little tired of waiting for him to come back.

"I hope so..." he said with a small smile.
He then went back to his room and looked at her looking though his things.
"What are you doing?" he whispered.
"I want you to be very quiet for a few days okay? just to see if my dad forgets about you like he told me..." he added quietly as he looked at her and then locked his door.

Tara looked up and blushed. "sorry I was curious." she said then hugged him. "Ok I will do anything to be with you" she whispered then dug her face in his chest. She was so happy he wasn't mad at her and he took her back. She wouldn't have been able to live with herself if she could never be in his arms again.

Lethal held her close.
"You won't ever leave me again right?" he asked but didn't let her answer, he kissed her lovingly and lay down on the bed with her on top of him.

Tara kissed him back and pulled away only to smiled at him. "I promis. They will have to pry my dead body away from you" she whispered then kissed him again. She pulled herself closer to him then pulled back and put her head on his chest. "I love you" she whispered and closed her eyes. Swimming and walking all that way when one isn't used to it made her tired.

He held her close and smiled as she said those three words.
"I love you too Tara..." he whispered and watched her sleep on him. He looked at her legs and wondered how she got them.
"I will always love you and protect you." he added as he stroked her hair.

Tara smiled hearing him. Even though she was asleep she could hear him. She cuddled closer to him dreaming of being human so she could be with Lethal for ever. It wasn't worth being a mermaid if she could never truly be with him. She didn't care if her parents hated her because she was with a human. She loved him and that was all that mattered to her.

Lethal continued to stroke her hair and wondered what she was dreaming about. He kissed her head gently and wondered what his father was up to. He stole glances at the door and hoped his father didn't try opening it. It was locked, but that would anger his father even more.

After a while Tara woke and smiled up at Lethal. "Sorry to sleep on you, but I am not used to swimming then walking so far." she said smiling into his eyes. why did I leave him? I should of stayed. she thought hating herself for hurting him more then she already had.

Lethal smiled up at her.
"Don't be, I liked it." he said and pulled her down on him and began to kiss her deeply.
"Would you like me to take you Tara?" he asked remembering that mermaid term.

Tara looked down at him surprised but then smiled. "If you want" she whispered and kissed him passionately. She was happy she had remembered her own terms. She ran a hand down his chest missing it.

Lethal smirked and kissed her back just as passionately. He slowly removed the only shirt she had on, and removed his too. He kissed her jawline gently and bit her neck softly as her up and down her back slowly. He loved the feeling of her body against his and wasn't going to let anyone take her away from him.

Tara smiled and loved the feel of Lethal's chest. She ran another hand threw his hair. It was so soft. His skin felt so wonderful against hers. She titled her head so he had better access to her neck.

Lethal smirked and continued to bite her neck gently.
He loved the feeling of her hand down his chest and he hoped she wouldn't stop, he gently ran a hand through her long white hair and moved up her neck and kissed her jawline then her lips.
