Lucy nodded and looked at Iva, "Yeah." sometimes Lucy wished she would have a big sister, then she would share her secrets with. When the boy asked her what her name was Lucy grinned, "I'm Lucy, I don't think I got yours either." the boy looked nice enough, since he sung her a song. She wondered what her brother would think of the boy if he was here. Lucy shuddered. Bad things would happen.
When Cal finally finished watching all of his movies he walked upstairs and slept in his bedroom. He couldn't sleep at all, Cal was too worried about his little sister. "Ugh stop being such a worry-wart." he muttered while turned on his bed. |
Isaac smiled at her, "nice to met you and I am Isaac." he said and then looked at Iva, "what is your name?" he asked since she seemed kind of close to Lucy. Lucy seemed like a really nice girl and he was glad he had sung that song for her.
|
" I am Iva, I am the Local farmer around here" She smiled " We have to go now, maybe we will see you around." Iva smiled and walked Lucy to her jeep. Got in and started the engine. Iva drove to a local IceCream shop. "What would you like?"
[[ dude, thats so lame >.> ]] |
Isaac watched them go and then sat down on his bike. He wondered if he should stay in this town since everyone was nice and he felt like he could connect with his music here. He then just sat on his bike and started to play his music.

"No, no," Abel switched ears, placing the phone in his other hand so he could take the wheel once again. "You misunderstood me. I said to leave the cattle in the pasture. It isn't this week. Next week, Darvis. Next week."
Looking slightly flustered, the youth didn't pay attention to his foot as he pressed on the gas pedal, eager to return to his family estate. "Look, if you can't do this then-" He was cut off, and the dark-haired male let out a frustrated groan. It was at that moment when he passed a few cars, ignoring a few of them as they honked angrily. He needed to be home now. Abel glanced down as he dropped his phone, reaching to pick it up from his lap . . . and heard the screech of tires on the road as he turned the wheel too suddenly. Another car was just in front of him. Barely able to turn the wheel, Abel avoided crashing head-on - but sadly, wasn't able to avoid the crash all together. Ramming into the side of the car, the youth cursed under his breath before completely forgetting about his phone. Snatching it up, he shoved the door open, moving quickly to the driver's side of the other vehicle. "Are you alright?!" he asked rather loudly, looking more panicked than anything. |
Alvilda groaned as placed a hand to her head, she didn’t know what happen, all she could remember was that she was driving home and then there was a nasty crunching sound of metal on metal and she was stopped some place. The radio was on but soon it died down, leaving the world more silent then it was all ready, voices could be heard, smoke could be smelled, there was even something was odd about her arm, even her leg felt odd. Some one was talking to her, but who, who was it, her head was leaned back against the head rest, looking at the man trying to get her vision to focus. Finally it focused and she recognized the man that was standing there looking at her. “Cain?…..” she managed to get out as she tried to left her arm or even more to get out of the vehicle, she only managed to cry out in agony, she looked down at her self, her arm was at an odd angle and so was one of her legs. "Hospital." she got out as she looked back at the man that was on the other side of her car door before she passed out from the pain that she was feeling, tears streaming down her cheeks.

(( i'm pretty much banned from all computers for a week. But I'll post anyways.))
"Um... Cookie dough!" replied Lucy, she grinned thinking of a huge ice cream sundae. Then she heard a huge crash right by the ice cream parlor. "Woah what was that?" Lucy asked. |
"Abel," he said when Eve spoke of who she thought he was. "Oh God," Abel turned his face away momentarily before flipping out his phone, dialing for an ambulance. "I'm so sorry!" Repeating the words, the youth moved to help the girl out of the car, supporting her weight as best he could. It wasn't long before the sirens could be heard - despite being in the country, they still had a small hospital that they could count on.
After being hustled into the car, Abel tried to explain what had happened during the crash, but ended up merely repeating himself - he was still a bit shocked. After speaking with doctors at the hospital, Abel was diagnosed with a few scratches, some bruises, a slightly tweaked shoulder, and a couple stitches over one eye. Barely even scratched, really . . . which was hard to say for their vehicles. Refusing to leave the room while they checked Eve, the dark-haired youth dialed a familiar number - Cain. He would bring him to the hospital. |
Eve woke up briefly in the ambulance, her head tilted to the side allowing her to see Abel next to her; she stared at him for a few moments before she passed out once more. The next time she woke up it was in the hospital and she was being told that she had a mild concussion and that one of her arms was broken and that her leg was going to have an external fixture because it was broken also. They put a mask over her face to put her to sleep once more as they stuck an iv in her hand, soon she was a sleep once more as they moved her into a surgery room, working on her leg and putting her arm in a cast. Once she woke up again she was in a hospital room, she groaned as she looked around and trying to figure out what had happen, why she couldn’t move her arm and why her leg weighed so much. “What happened?” she asked someone that was in the room with her, not completely sure who it was but was sure that the person was going to tell her.
|
"You were in a crash," Cain said, moving from his spot near the window. Crossing his arms over his chest, the long-haired youth looked over her form swiftly. He chuckled before smiling grimly. "You won't be finding much use in your arm or leg for a long while." Relaying the damage done, Cain sighed, his brown eyes lifting to the door on the opposite side of the room. "My brother hit you out on the highway."
|
Eve's eyes started to water as what the man said had finally hit her, she placed her good arm over her eyes to keep the tears that were strteaming down her face hidden from his eyes. "Thank you for telling me.......but why are you here? Didn't you have to go and meet some one?" she said to him as she barely kept the emotions out of her voice, she knew her arm would take a month to heal but her leg would take a lot longer by the sight of a bar sticking out of it. She took a shuddering breathe as she let it out slowly, figureing that she would be in a bad state for about six months if she judge how long her leg would take to heal properly.
|
"I did," Cain said quietly, shaking his head. With a grim smile, he shrugged, politely ignoring Eve's attempt to stop her emotions from overflowing. "But I didn't go. She can get mad at me later." The male moved to stand beside Eve's bed, another stoic expression on his features. "My brother, on the other hand, feels so badly that I conned him into paying your medical bills."
A nurse stepped into the room, hustling over to check a few things. "Are you feeling alright?" she asked Eve, not even pausing as she continued. "Do you feel any tingling in your toes or fingers?" After many such questions about her injuries, the woman nodded and stepped back out of the room. "Will you be staying here at the hospital for a while?" Cain asked after a few moments of silence. |
Eve was about to say something to him when the nurse came in and started to ask her some questions, she then answered them honestly and watched as she was given a shot of pain killer, which made laugh at things at the oddest time even if it wasn't funny. "You shouldn't have done that. I don't like knowing people are taking care of me and i don't like oweing people money. No....I have to get home and take care of......i can't do that now....." she mumbled the last sentence to her self, instead of crying like she wantted she just laughed instead like it was a bad joke that only she got. She ran a hand through her long brown hair, she frowned, thinking that her hair was shorter then it had been, she then just brushed it off as her imagenation.
|
"Cookie dough it is then!" Iva noticed the crash..."Looks like a crash...." Iva said. "Its OK we will still get to my place on time." Iva ordered the ice cream for lucy, once she got the cone and handed it to lucy and drove to her place...passing the crash she recognized the car from the pub..."I sure hope everything is OK" Iva said passing, then turning left to her place. Once she reached her ranch she parked her jeep, got out and said "Here we are!" She looked at the time...4:00...They still had time to ride before her brother came to pick her up. "Ya ready to ride?"
|
Cain shook his head. "You don't owe anyone anything." Stepping closer to her bed, the youth stretched out a hand to push her back against the pillows. "But you do need to rest." Her laughing was making him smile, but it wasn't one that reached his eyes. Abel, you bastard. You always ruin the lives of those around you, even when you aren't trying to.
Glancing up toward the clock, the dark-haired youth frowned. She's going to be mad with me. Again. Shaking his head, he looked back to Eve. "We'll sort this all out later. For now, just take care of yourself, alright?" |
"I do.....i owe you and your brother money...at least art work to make up for it. You shouldn't have come when you had or have an appointment." Eve said to him as she leaned back against the pillows since he was forcing her to, she then looked towards the ceiling, planning to leave once she got the okay to do so, she still had to unpack her things and set everything up but that was going to be hard now that she was down two limbs for the moment. She turnned her head until she could see him, watching as he seemed antsy about something, she just smiled and waved him off.
|
"I'm sure artwork would be appreciated," Cain said with a grim smile, and then he turned toward the door. "I should be going. My life might be in jeopardy if I miss this meeting." He chuckled, though his words didn't sound like a total lie. "Can I have your number before I go? I can call you later this week if you don't mind."
|
"I am an artist. cellphone's and house phones are something that we lose very often so i don't bother getting one anymore." Eve said to him as she watched him, chuckling a bit, she had lost her phones so many times that she didn't see a point in keeping one when it was just going to get lost. She suppose that she had to get one now since she had broken limbs and would most likely call someone to deliever grocreies to her house for her, she sighed heavily and ran a hand through her hair. "You better go before you get into trouble for seeing another girl." she said to him jokingly, even though she was serious about it, she had almost got killed by a chick that was jealous of her just talking to her boyfriend, she didn't want to go through that again.
