Shinku continued petting Shady.She felt so at ease and calm while petting him.She felt like she was her old self again from before Darius had died.

Amna eventually ut her pandas down and shooed then gently off and smiled, taking her ice cream and licking hot fudge off the spoon that was set in it and closed her eyes, savoring the sweet taste. "mmh... Triple chocolate fudge sundae... yum." she mumbled to herself.

Shinku had strawberry.Shinku loved strawberry flavored anything.Shinku ate her icecream slowly savoring the taste.

Amna smiled. "So like... where did you come from where were you born... i'm curious..." she said, trying to start up a good conversation with her.

I was born in russia though i lived in paris most of my life.Thats when i met my friend Maria.She was fluently french."Shinku said with a smile."I met her when she was two and i was 5."

"That's cool... I was born in Ireland... a very long time ago... I was a princess, true heir to the throne when we were in war against brittan... but i knew Kayde before then... We were raised together." She said with a smile. "you wouldn;t believe how absolutely adorable he was then." she told her.

wow really?i think i remember one of my friends being an heir but i can't remember her name.But she was scared of people an animals because one of her crushes made a huge scar on her back."Shinku said trying to think of her name."When i was younger i acted so childish and very bossy but i helped my friend Maria get through some tough times like when both our families died in a train accident."Shinku said with a nod."They died when Maria was only 3 and i was 6."

"There's a big jump between you and some of your friends...." Amna observed and continued to eat her icecream slowly.

"What do you mean?"Shinku asked tilting her head.She didn't want to tell her many things she was hiding from the past.One was her family wasn't normal humans.

"I mean that, you're six and they're three and so forth, there are big jumps between you and your friend's ages was all i was saying." she said and finished her icecream and started to play with the pandas again.

"Oh....yeah there is.Though we're only 3 years apart so its not really a big deal."Shinku said hoping that was what she meant.

Amna nodded. "just saying..." she said and shrugged. "but with pets it don;t matter cause they always loyl an faithful lil creatures yes they are!" She cooed at a panda.

Shinku giggled."I never really had a pet.I was mostly afraid of them."

She nodded. "Sometimes animals are more scared of you than you are them... you just ned to show them you're a good person and will protect them and take care of them and in return they protect and take care of you." Amna said and smiled kindly at her.

Shinku smiled and nodded."I think i mostly liked cats though.But i really can't remember a lot about my past."

Amna nodded. "i understand how that is... i suffered from amnesia once.. but only for a while.." she said and smiled. "Finished? want to go to the mall or something?" she asked her

Shinku finished her ice cream and nodded."Sure...that sounds fun."Shinku said in her little childish but fun tone.

she giggled and nodded. "Let's go... By loves!" she said to the pandas that watched them mournfully as they left.

Shinku smiled.She thought her and Amna were getting along quite well.Though she wondered what Kayde was doing and if he was okay.

Amna sighed. "Kayde had to go see how much trouble he was in..." she said after a few moment of silence. "What he did... could cost him his title as a tracker and peace keeper between us and vampire hunters." she explained.

Shinku sighed."If that gets him into a lot of trouble then why did he save me.Sometimes i just wish he didn't save me as stupid as that sounds.I know that i don't diserve to be treated nicely."Shinku said not looking sad but looking her happy and playful self.

"Because... He likes you... you're the first person he's actually eve looked at the way he does in the last three hundred years... and as his best friend it;s heart breaking to see him as a heartless or hurting person..." she said and sighed.

"So he does like me?But where do we go from here?i hadn't had a nice or good relationship in 2 years."Shinku said pacing around.

Amna watched her with blank eyes. "That depends on both of you. Try to forget your past and start over with new lovers and get a happy, cheerful life..." she said and sped past her.

Shinku nodded,taking a deep breath to calm herself down and walked along with Amna.
