"I'd rather not, as I believe he'd be rather upset regarding it," Chloe began, "But I think I can round it so that you'll both be content." Smiling, she said a rounded price that was a bit lower then the actual. "I think that's a good price for four pieces of pastry and three drinks, don't you?" She left out on purpose that she had paid herself for the green tea roll. "Enjoy! Tell me if you need anything else, 'kay?"

Cross smiled softly and shook his head again, bangs falling into his eyes once more, "Well thank you anyway Chloe." He took his tray back to the table and slipped into his seat again, Marth having sat down next to Aki. He placed the water in front of Marth, coffee was Aki's and then he took the green tea for himself. Marth quickly split the pastries and they started to eat. Cross fiddled with his fork for a while before taking a bite out of his green tea roll. It was...sweet.

Chloe watched him leave, waving as he went to his table. Then, as more customers flooded in, she began to hurry to keep up with each person, seemingly able to recognize each person's face and name. Thus, when someone said they wanted what they usually did, she knew what they meant. After a number of customers, probably over a couple dozen, a voice called out to her from the kitchen, causing her to dart back. Now it was time to cook. What would she make? She was already certain she'd make the cake she'd given some of to Cross earlier that day- that would already take some time. What else could she do? She still had to decide.

"So..." Aki started, leaning forward across the table. Cross efficiently ignored the other boy and continued flipping through his music library on the laptop he had pulled out of his bag. Marth had to suppress a chuckle and quickly coughed to hide his laughter. Aki glared at the blue haired boy before trying again, "i see you've taken a liking to a certain chef in our phys ed class." Cross made no move to acknowledge the statement other than having his hand dart out and shove lightly on Aki's arm that was being used to prop the boy up. Marth moved to the side quickly and a moment later Aki's face slammed into the table and he shot up yelling in pain. An amused expression appeared on Cross' face evn as his eyes continued to scan the screen befor ehim. "You seriously should have learned by now 'Ki." Marth whispered, moving to sit next to the sadistic music loving boy, "Any new songs you wanna share with me?" Cross looked up from his screen finally and grinned.
Once someone gets him started on his favorite subject, it's near impossible to get him to stop. Marth knew, and so did Aki. The red head had recovered from the pain Cross had "unintentionally" caused him and was half-listening while gorging himself on his pastries. Marth on the other hand was having a very in depth conversation about American pop culture and Asian pop culture. "I don't know how you can listen to it." Cross was saying, "the lyrics aren't that great most of the time." "Yea well, everything can't always have that "deeper meaning" Cross." Marth shot back. Cross half-shrugged, "I still don't like it." "But why?" "There's not much to like, all the songs i've been hearing have been about love, sex, heartbreak, rape...it's getting repetitive." "I suppose you're right." Marth murmured, tapping his chin thoughtfully. Cross finally finished with what he was doing and turned his laptop off, slipping it away again before sighing, "My parents are expecting me. I should be going." Marth and Aki shared another look and they both got up as well, "We'll walk with you." Marth elaborated. Cross tilted his head, "There's really no need guys..." but he didn't say much besides that. Once their minds were made up, they were made up.

When a woman familiar to Chloe had walked into the bakery, the owner ran in back to let her know. So, while she was finishing her work in back, he began to speak with her, letting her know it was just the woman. When done with her work, she re-took the position up front at the register, just in time to see the three from her physical education class leaving. Smiling, she didn't say anything, but did wave over- she really had wanted input on the green tea roll she'd made that morning.
The woman walked over and began to talk to her, however she disagreed completely with the statement soon made. "I'm not going. That's that." It was a simple statement, and with Chloe, once she said it, it was clear. "I'm fine as I am now. I don't need Shawn's pathetic excuse of caring anymore, since it's always been a lie anyway. I love you, May, but I'm not going to live with my darned brother. I'm not going with you." The woman sighed, white hair falling over her shoulder lightly as she nodded.
"I understand. Please take care of yourself, okay? Even if you don't believe it... We both worry about you." Waving, the woman walked off, and a deep sigh escaped Chloe as she leaned her head on the counter, cursing under her breath. She really did hate her brother.
