Darkos nodded and smiled back at her "ok, the journy will take..." he stopped and felt the air for a moment "...atleast 1 hour max" he said as he took of and slowly began picking up the pace "we can go fast and be there in like 10 minutes or we can go slow and take a hour... its your choice"

Ummmm. Slow. Slow and steady. Fast and I might fall off of you. She let out a sheepish grin. I'm new to this whole riding and flying thing, remember. Smiling, she brushed her hair behind her ear. So, ummm... what do I do? How do I stay on you? I mean... falling off is bad... right?

Darkos laughed and smiled back at her "yes falling off is bad, but if you do, i will quickly catch you" he said and looked back to the direction he was flying "ok, to hold of to just grabon to my neak and try not to put your feet on my wings" he chuckled a bit "if you do then we will both fall out of the sky"

Oh joy.... So keep myself off the wings but around the neck. Gotcha. I think I can do that. And one day, when I become the world's greatest dragon rider, I shall ride from your tail! We shall claim the skies! Rule the skies! We shall, forever be a team, okay? Shay smiled as she moved onto his back. I'm really glad I ran away from home. I've been so lost without you. You're my... hero. My... everything. Placing a kiss on the backside of his head, she positioned herself and was ready to embrace her first flight.

Jake chuckled and went a bit faster "well im going to have to train you to ride on my tail, i will be dangerous to ride on my tail without training" he said as he looked back at her and licked her face, which was his style of kissing "im sorry, but i can't kiss im afraid" he chuckled "so what about if you hadn't had met me, what would you be doing now?"

Awww, dragon kisses. Wet and slimy. Teeheehee. And had I not met you? Hmmm, I'd be lost in this woods... alone... probably dying by now. You literally saved my life. Hugging his neck, she sent a look at his tail. I will one day ride your tail. But I might want to invest in a bug shield... I have a bad feeling I'd be swallowing a lot of buggers back there. Laughing, Shay tied her hair back in a pony tail. I'm ready whenever you are, my prince.

Shay looked at the dragon. Ummm, hello? Ready whenever you are... HOLY SHIT! WHEN DID WE START FLYING? Her eyes widened in both fear, awe, and wonder. The majority of Shay was trembling with fear, but there was a part of her that just adored everything. If this was the life she'd have from here on out, Shay would happily give up her crown to be a flier. Not only was it beautiful, it was clean and wonderful feeling knowing that you're above the world without any real troubles. |
Jake chuckled at her reaction "i have been flying for a while now" he looked back at her with a smiled "how did you not notice? i mean... mind you... your the first person that i have seen, there has never been a dragon rider for over 1000 years, your the first since then"

Whoopie! The first and probably the last... although, if I meet a handsome man and we have children then my kids can be riders! That would be cool, wouldn't it? Now hold long can you live for? And sorry, I'm a bit of an airhead at times. I was too busy looking at your head to notice the trees and the clouds moving by us... heh. Hugging the dragon's neck, Shay peeked over the edge to see the ground below. So pretty!

Jake chuckled and then looked around "yes, it is truely amazing" he whispered to her as he looked to where he was going "well, if you have children i will be able to look after them, but we are not going to think about that, you are still young and you have a huge amount of time left in your journy ahead, you will live for a long time"
