He smirked somewhat as she said that. "Well then, we can work this out somehow. Though, I'm guessing we have to try and fake a pregnancy for you.. Since otherwise, your father won't let us marry." he said, tilting his head somewhat before reaching for the bottle of alcohol since he was thirsty.

Katie nodded. 'We could always talk to the doctor and get him to say i'm pregnant, then after the wedding just say I had a miscarriage." She said, looking at him."Since I doubt either of us want to have an actual kid at the moment." She said slyly.."Or have sex with someone we just met." She said, taking her cup and putting it out for him to pour alcohol into.

He nodded somewhat, having made a small face. "Of course I wouldn't have sex with someone I've just met." he said. "I have some sort of morals.. And true. I don't think I'd want a kid around this time." he said. He wanted to enjoy life before being tied down and woken up in the middle of the night by a little brat. He poured in some of he alcohol in her glass before drinking some of it. "Think the doctor will agree to it?" he asked after a moment.

"He will if we beg, Hes a softy for beggers..when I was younger I asked him to lie to my father and say I was sick so I could miss school for a week, all I had to do was beg for a few minutes.." She said, standing up."I'll go talk to him now if you want, before he leaves to go home. Unless you'd like to come too?" She asked, taking a sip of the alcohol and sitting it down on the nightstand.

Ace looked somewhat impressed but he shook his head. "Nah, I'd probably ruin it, since I don't like begging." he glanced at her before looking around. "I'll fix up here and stuff so when the others are ready, we won't have to do much." he said after a moment, standing up with his empty plate now."Or take it downstairs."

Katie nodded and picked up her empty plate, handing it to Ace."Take it down for me please? The doctors in his room." She asked, smirking."Remember, act exhausted." She said with a laugh."I'll be down in a sec." She said,leaving the room and going down the hall into the doctors room, talking to him and finally getting him to say yes.

He laughed somewhat as he nodded, making it so that his hair looked ruffled, and unbuttoning his shirt, so that it lay open as he walked down to the kitchen again, with the others. He did look slightly tired, though incredibly smug about something.

Katie went into the bathroom, running the hot shower for a minute and sat on the sink, letting the steam come from the shower. Her face instantly became red and she looked warm and tired. She turned the shower off, smirking since it hadn't made any noise and walked down the stairs, she had messed her hair up a bit and had a smile on her face. She came up behind Ace, noticing her father staring at her so she hugged him from behind and kissed his neck, whispering into his ear."He said yes."She said,smileing."Nice look by the way.." She mumbled.

Drake grinned."Here come the lovebirds now." He said, leaning back in his chair.

Ace smirked somewhat and nodded, pleased that the doctor had said yes. "Well, love the look as well, but you looked way better earlier." he said, his tone suggestive. He looked at Drake and he just laughed somewhat. "Were you waiting?" he asked, smirking again. "

"No, we were listening. Not by choice." said Shin with a small laugh.

She felt her face go back to normal from cooling down and she fixed her hair, turning to look at Shin."Sorry, I told Ace that we should keep it down but he just made it harder too." She said, leaving the dining side of the kitchen and going threw the door that led to the cooking side.

Drake watched as Katie walked away."Lucky." He mumbled, looking at Ace. "Just keep it down when we go to our house later.. my rooms right next to yours. And Shin, why aren't you with Alvilda?"

"I'll try to. No guarantees." he said, shrugging somewhat as he went to get the dishes to the kitchen.

Shin shook his head somewhat. "I can't see her. The butler guy said we couldn't visit, remember?" he reminded Drake.

"Oh yeah, so do you like her?" He asked, running a hand threw his hair as he watched Ace go in after Katie.

Katie smiled when Ace came in."The doctor agreed to fake the pregnancy and tell my father whenever we wanted, he thinks arranged marriages aren't the right way to go anyways so he's happy that we are doing this to atleast make sure that were friends with our spouses." She said quietly, sitting on the counter."Now i'll we need to do is keep selling it." She said, brushing her bangs out of her face."Which won't be hard since your my friend in all."She said, leaving out that it wouldn't be hard since he was cute and funny, and that she enjoyed being with him

Hotaru pushed open the door to the back stair case and just stared at Katie, he couldn't believe that she was doing something like this, just so she could be with some other guy, even after she said she loved him. "Katie....." was all he said in his hurt voice, it was clear that he was in pain since he wasn't hidding it anymore, letting her see how much he was hurtting and dying on the inside since she had found out that he was here. "How can you do something like this? Faking it.....when you....." he couldn't even say what he wantted to say to her, okay so he wasn't amnly and didn't hide his emotions all the time like a normal man would but finding out that Katie was stooping so low was just....not like her, and he couldn't believe it.

Katies eyes widened and she looked at Ace."Be back in a minute.." She said, pulling Hotaru back threw the door he had came into."Listen.." She said, shutting the door."Why would you care what I do? You said you were over me." She said, looking up at him."I didn't want to marry Shin and Ace is my friend, so we decided to do this so we could atleast be with someone we were friends with. Hotaru i'm sorry but you don't care about me anymore so i'm going to do whats best for me." She said, looking up into his eyes

Ace smirked and nodded. "Yeah. Well, glad it's taken care of." he said, putting the plates in the sink and washing them. "Though, I wonder when we're gonna get married." he said. He hoped it wouldn't take too long with it, since she had to take the appearance of a pregnant girl. When Hotaru came in his eyes narrowed somewhat. Before he could say anything though, Katie took him outside. He just sighed somewhat, slightly annoyed. The guy should just grow a pair and move on. Everyone moves on eventually. He had to before..

Shin shrugged somewhat and tilted his head. "I like her as a friend I suppose for now. I haven't spent much time with her." he said simply.

"I never said that i was over you. Why do you think i took this job? Why do you think that i have been mainly around you instead of the others? I love you, Katie. I only took this job so i can have enough money to save up so i can take you away from all this, but you moved on so quickly. NOt caring about what we had together. Or why i was really here. Your killing me Katie....and you don't even care." Hotaru said to her, hoping his words would kill her as much as he was dead on the inside, he wipped the tears out of his eyes, setting his face into a blank expression, his eyes holdding no life in them after he was done talking. "Excuse me. I have to inform Lord Amaya that you and Ace are decieving him." he said to her in a empty voice, it no longer heald the love and emotions in it like it had with the words that he said to her before. He quickly moved passed her and through the door that lead to the kitchen making his way to the dinning room, where her father was waitting at.

Katie ran into the kitchen."Ace he's going to tell my father!" She said with a sigh, running after Hotaru."Hello father, I need to borrow our butler for a moment.." She said, literally pulling him into the living room."Why are you doing this! Of course I care about you, I was just trying to move on because the signs you were giving me showed you didn't like me anymore."She said, looking at he ground." I'm sorry I hurt you but you hurt me by taking this job. I can't just run away with you and have our dream life. I have expecatations to up hold! And if it means I have to marry someone on friday..that I just met, then atleast let it be to someone that I care about. Ace is a great guy and I do love you Hotaru, but I can't just drop everything to be whisked away. Please don't tell my father.."She begged."I'm just trying to make something good out of all of this..and Ace is everything I want in a friend right now. And maybe more in the future..But I can't forget about whats expected of me."

Ace's eyes had widened somewhat as he hurried after Katie and Hotaru. "I'll be damned if the idiot tells." he muttered under his breath before reaching the two. He adjusted himself at the door, ready to grab Hotaru in case he tried again to go. "Think you're the only one hurt by this?" he asked Hotaru, raising an eyebrow. "Everyone here had something to hate about it, I know at least two of my brothers had someone they loved, only to be denied for this. At least they're going to move on. You should do the same. Shin is better with Alvidia and I'm better with Katie right now. So all you're going to do is fuck things up for everyone by telling her father." he said, narrowing his eyes at the man. Then at katies words he just nodded somewhat, though not adding anything, since he spoke his fill already.

Katie backed away from Hotaru and stood by Ace."Please Hotaru?" She said, nodding at what Ace said.

Hotaru just stood there, forced to listen to what they had to say, his face remain blank and his eyes were dead, matching how he was no the inside. "Lady Katie and Lord Ace, i am only doing my job." he said to them in a equally as dead voice, he then trunned and walked to a bookcase, pushing it open to reveal yet another set of servant stairs, he moved into them, closing the book case behind him before he made his way down the stairs into the cellar, the sad thing was he had to take the normal stairs that lead back up into the kitchen in order to get to the room that he wantted to tell Katie's father about what she and Ace were doing and planning together. Since she claimed that she still care about him, even though her actions said differently, he was just going to be the cold-hearted butler that did as he was told by the person that was paying him.

Ace scowled somewhat as Hotaru left through the bookcase. "Now, this whole thing could be ruined." he muttered before shaking his head, heading to the room where her father was going to be in, along with the others. Maybe if they all tried going over to their house or something, distracted him, take him outside or Something for the moment, they'd be able to avoid Hotaru for a moment. "C'mon, let's try and-- Or, we can just tell him that Hotaru's just acting jealous and going to try and break us up.." he said, the thought coming up in mind first.

Katie looked at Ace."He can't back up his story. The doctors on our side and can say that its true.." She said, frowning to the point where she just sat down on the ground."Even if we go and stop him he'll ust tell him sooner or later." She said, looking back up at Ace." I'm sorry" She mumbled. She did like Ace, and now she hated Hotaru. She was now feeling the heart brokeness that he probably felt when she told him that she couldn't be with him. But now, she didn't give a crap about him. If he was going to ruin her plans of marrying Ace then she would ruin him..but how? The suckish thing for Hotaru that all of this just made her like Ace more and despise Hotaru."Your idea works too."

Ace stopped once he found out she wasn't following. He looked back at her and raised his eyebrow. "Which one?" he asked, almost chuckling. He shrugged, figuring she was right and sat down next to her. "It's not your fault he's a sore loser." he said, shrugging again before almost sighing. "Well, like you said. We have a bit more leverage than him right now. On top of the doctor, we'll have our brothers and sisters to back us up."
