Ace nodded, taking the bottle from her before going to the door. "Alright then. And you'd be surprised." he muttered, starting to head to the stairs.
Shin scowled somewhat. "You're Hurt." he said, grabbing her arm before she could actually leave. "You're doing something. Recuperating." |
She frowned when he took the bottle away from her."Eh, it's for the best.." She said, hurrying down the steps." Now we just have to go get that idiot of a doctor.."She mumbled, going for the door." So, Ace what do you like to do besides play cards?" She asked, wanting to get to know him better.

Ace tucked the bottle in his shirt, though it didn't do much good since the shirt was wet and sticking to him anyways. "I, like to swim, play other games. And I like to eat chocolate." he said, smirking somewhat. The last part was somewhat of a different subject, but it was something he did.

"Okay, I am hurt, but sitting down and recuperating is not something i do." Alvilda said to him as she pulled her arm out of his hand and headed back towards the kitchen, she made it into the hallway and had to go down all the way to the end to get back into the kitchen, she hoped that no one else was going to try and stop her from trying to finish her list that she had stuffed into her apron pocket.

"Pretty much I do the same things..since we have a pond in the backyard I always go swimming." She said,walking out the front door. You could literally see the doctors home down the street from the Kurais."So are you interested in any of the girls?" She asked, half hoping he was interested in her but their really was no way of telling with him..

Shin frowned, following her to make sure she at least kept that hand at ease. "Stubborn aren't you?" he asked, smirking somewhat. He knew that his brother and his fiancee would be fine, so he'd let them have their time alone.
Ace smirked, shrugging nonchalant. "Hm, well, it'd be rude to say I haven't." he said, though not elaborating on that as they walked to the doctors home. It was always a good thing, the doctor being there. "And that's pretty cool. We have a pond as well out back, though it's a bit bigger." |
"Busy is more like it." Alvilda said to him as she pushed the swinging door open and walked back into the kitchen, her face had a permeant flushed look to it, it was as if she had a blush but there was just something off about it. She walked over to the sink and splashed some water on her face before she dried her hand on her aporn and walked over to the stove. She turnned the potatoes on, placing a lid on them, she then put the clean string beans into a pot and turnned them on after she seasoned them. She then seasoned the steaks and placed then inside the over before she moved over to the laundry room to get started on the laundry that was in there.

"Let me help then. You don't look too well." he said, sounding slightly worried.

"Well, when I move in i'll probably swim in it a lot too." She said, knocking on the doctors door.
The short man came to the door."Hello?" "Doctor, my sister accidently slit her hand with a knife and she needs stitches. We were wondering if you could make a house call?" The doctor nodded and grabbed his things, running out and getting in his carriage." you two want to get in?" Katie looked at Ace, the storm was getting worse. A butler stepped out of the doctors hosue."Sir?The guys in the back said theirs gonna be really bad weather on our way..they said they saw a spinning cloud just down that hill." The doctor sighed and looked in the back of the carriage."Nevermind, I can't fit you and i'm in a hurry." He said,starting to leave. "Wait!" Katie called, reaching in Ace's shirt and grabbing the alcohol. She ran to the carriage."Take this and put it on the wound before and after you put the stitches on." The man took the bottle and continued down the rode. Katie looked at Ace." We better get going.." She said,feeling the wind pick up again..the odd thing was that everything was silent..there were no birds in the sky or anything. The only thing you could see was thunder clouds..spinning? The doctor made his way to the Amaya home and grabbed his bag, having the Amaya butlers put his carriage in the stable since the bad weather was coming. He knocked on the door, holding his medicine bag and the alcohol. |
"I am fine, Shin. You don't have to help but if you must can you make sure the pots don't boil over and to take the steaks out when the timer beeps?" Alvilda said to him as she loaded up the washer and turnned it on, she then put all of the clothes from the washer into the dryer. She then took the basket of clean clothes and set them on a table that was next to the laundry room door, that was used for folding clothes and began to fold them, hanging up what need to be hung up. She rubbed her face for a moment, not quit seeing what was in front of her, she knew that she was hot but she didn't know if it was the kitchen or the fact that she was wearing a dress.

Shin was about to go to the kitchen again when he heard the door, "Be back." he said, rushing to get the door. "Hello?" he asked.
Ace sighed and nodded. "My home or yours?" he asked her, starting to head to his anyways. They could get a horse from there. |
"I don't know if we should be out in this weather, so your house is fine." She said, starting to walk quickly towards his home. She waited for him by the door, watching the sky..angry that she couldn't get to her sister. She then looked at teh ground since it was still raining.
The doctor came in."I'm here to give a young lady some stitches, and i'm going to have to ask for a guest room..the spinning clouds are almost here so I can't get back home that easily." He said, pulling out his medical kit and sitting it on the table."The womans sister gave me this." He said, sitting the alcohol on the table. Drake was drinking his coke in the kitchen and his mouth dropped."Shit! Ace is probably in the storm.." |
Shin blinked wide eyed as he let the doctor in. "Um, they're near the house.. I hope he's not crazy enough to actually attempt the trip here." he said, looking worried now. he looked at the doctor and nodded. "Drake, help me get Alvida here. She'll put up a fight, and you're stronger than me." he said.
Ace tilted his head as they walked quickly to the house. "If we hurry, we'll get to the horse and be able to get to the house." he offered, opening the door once they were there. |
She noticed the storm getting closer." Fine, lets try-" She cut herself off seeing the tornado going threw the fields of grain."Ace I don't think we should.. she said, opening the already unlocked door."You heard the doctor, he was going to stay at my home until tomorrow. But if your going then i'll go.." She said quietly.
Drake nodded and stood up, walking to where he had last seen Alvida. He picked her up and brought her to the kitchen, sitting her in a chair..no questions asked. The doctor grabbed her hand, putting the alcohol down on it and then getting out his knife and thread. Drake sighed."I think Ace is going to try.." |
"What the hell?!?" Alvilda said as she yelled while being picked up by Drake, after all she didn't like being manhandled by any one, least of all by some guy that she didn't know. She kicked at the man's shins as the doctor pulled her hand towards him, unwrapping it and pour acohol onto the deep wound, she hissed in pain as she directted her attention to what he was doing to her. She grimaced as she saw that her bones were showing in the palm of her hand, she made an ugly face as she watched him start to sew it up.

Drake smirked, staring out the window to see if he could see Ace or Katie.
The doctor used the knife, sewing and stitching and cutting until he was done. He gently wiped the alcohol over it."The stitches will fall out in a week...now would you mind showing me to my room? I'd like to settle in." |
He winced lightly at her yelling, and at the fact that she actually kicked Drake. "Ah behave now." he said, slightly ticked off at that. "And sit still, else he'll have to restitch." he warned before he looked at her and then at the window. "He's stupid enough to do it..."
Ace frowned somewhat but nodded, grabbing her hand and pulling her to the back, where the horses were. "You want to see your sister.." he said firmly, going to get his horse, a black one that looked big enough to carry both of them. "Up you go." he said, not waiting for her to say anything as he picked her up and placed her on top of the horse, opening the stable door for it to get out as he also got on behind her. "Alright. Amaya house Eryk." he muttered, nudging the horse on the sides lightly. |
She closed her eyes, not wanting to see the storm..mostly since she could here it getting closer, she wanted to be close to Ace to feel safe but..she barely knew him..and even if she did like him he probably didn't like her. But if he got them home she would love him! Not like, lovey dovey love but the kind where you really respect someone. She held onto the horse, waiting to see what would happen to them.
Drake sighed."Stupid bitch.." He mumbled under his breath, the kick had hurt."Eh, father told us to stay with one of teh girls tonight..he didn't give stricts on who. So, i'm going to sleep on the floor of my fiances room.. and Shin..I bet miss insane here wants you to sleep in hers." He yawned."Thanks for trying to make dinner..but i'm tired and I don't like the taste of blood." God he loved talking. He ran up the steps and to Si'lads room where he knocked on the door, going inside and laying on the floor..since he hadn't heard an answer. |
Alvilda mumbled something incoherent as she stood up and moved towards one of the ground floor guest room for the doctor. "Here is your room, and thank you for helping me with my hand." She said to him as she curtised slightly, she then moved back to the kitchen walking up to Drake, glaring at him. "I do not like to be manhandled, if you just told me that he was here i would have come willing." she said to him, it was clear that she was pissed about what he had done, she then looked over at Shin, before she turnned the pots off, draining the water room the potatoes and started to turn it into mashed potatoes, deeming her hand well enough for her to go about what she normally did. The timer beeped which caused her to stop what she was doing to take the steaks out of the oven, she then moved and pulled some plates down so they could all eat, even pulling out some glasses and silverware for everyone. She then moved back to the sink and splashed some more water onto her face which was still flushed with fever, that she continued to ignore no matter how much it was wearing her down.

Drake sighed, he would come back down for dinner after a quick nap.
The doctor went to his room and fell asleep. |
The horse seemed to know exactly where he was going, and he seemed un-phased as the storm grew closer. He only went faster.
Ace narrowed his eyes to avoid getting the wind and rain in them as he gripped her and Eryk. "Faster." he muttered, to which the horse listened as a flash of thunder sounded near them. Shin almost sighed, going after her and tilted his head. She's not gonna want me, she should spend some time with Ace instead. "Alvida.. Let me help you now." he offered, sounding slightly weary. She never did give up.. |
