Katie leaned back more, looking towards her sister. She wasn't particularly close to them so she was eager to actually know what her favorite color was. She took a card out of the deck, luckily she got a seven and laid the pair down."Go fish." She said slyly,slightly agreeing with him." Rubies are nice too. though, Purples good too..but everyone likes purple." She said quietly, she was rambling so she just smirked at him.

Si'la smiled and then grinned at Katies comment. She looked back at Ace. "You should be able to guess it. I'll give you a hint, I'm never without something that color." She leaned back and looked at him, wondering if he was smart enough to get it. She put a hand up to her shortish hair, playing with it quietly.

The quiet thunk of luggage against the concrete sounded down the quiet porch as a slender, feminine hand reached up to knock on the door quickly and firmly. Of all the times to forget her key, Aura was not impressed with herself that this was the time. "Surely they couldn't be serious..." She muttered and waited, mildly messing with the hem of her black skirt. Aura glanced around and lightly caressed the stone that framed her home together. "It's been too long since I've been home." She giggled quietly to herself and tucked an ebony lock of hair behind her ear, tapping her foot somewhat patiently as she chewed on her lower lip. Her vacation away from home to train with her sparring coach certainly did end abrubtly. She was supposed to be gone at least another four months. However with the call from her parents, Aura's life stopped and turned into a different direction, giving her multiple thoughts and worries. A marriage? Surely it was a practical joke to make her come home sooner. Or perhaps...mother and father were serious? The thought made Aura nervous and shy, she didn't know how much had happened since her departure and how much things would change. ((Edited. Not a very good explanation but I hope you get the idea ^-^)) |
((Well.. All the girls are supposed to live at home..or else the parents wouldn't be allowed to arrange their marriage if the kid ddin't live with them but..okay.. >.< ))

Ace smirked somewhat and tilted his head, pretending to be clueless for the moment. "Hmm.. Could it be purple?" he asked, smirking before grabbing a new card, before giving her three cards so she could also join them. "I guess I'm not so good with fishing." he said shrugging somewhat. Tilting his head he raised an eyebrow, wondering who in the world was outside in such a storm. "Who could that be?" he asked, almost frowning as he got up, placing his cards face down before quickly heading to the door. "Yes?" he asked, looking at the female before him, he stepped back, to let her inside from the rain.

Katie narrowed her eyes a little when she saw Aura. She was the one sister she didn't particuarly care for..at all. She barely noticed her absense and didn't care when she was here. She smiled at Si'la."Darn shame she was out in this weather.." She said sarcasticly, "Si'la, you can go now since you mite as well get started."

Si'la looked at Katie. "She's our sister, Katie. You and I were in that weather too, don't forget." She looked at her cards. "Do you have a ten?"

Katie sighed."I don't care..she's never been one to me." She said softly, knowing it was rude and insecure on her part but she was only speaking the truth. Truth be told that Katie had been close to Aura but when she left, so did Katie's feelings towards her. She looked towards Aura."Welcome back.." She said, putting on a fake smile and looking down at the cards."Ace, this is my sister Aura, Aura this is Ace."

Margaret stopped smiling, and then said to the boy, "Its a medicine for headaches, and fevers. Mom taught me how to make it a while ago." She put more goop on her sister's head. "Feel any better yet? Let me go get you something to drink." She went downstairs and searched the cupboards for something besides ale, and wine. She finally found some water, boiled it, to make sure that it was safe to drink, and then she brought it up to her sister. "So I dont really know if this is good water, but I boiled it so it should be ok. Oh and watch out it's hot."

Si'la was about to argue when Aura and Ace came back in. She didn't say anything but looked at her newly arrived sister. She smiled at her. "Hello again Aura. Welcome home." She wondered what Aura thought of her hair...last time, when she left, it was still long and brown. |
((Um Alvilda is passed out sort of but she won't be replying much lol at least for a while she will stay sick while i get some other rps straightened out and yesh we are going to change to a new day now))

A smile grew on Aura's face as she walked back into her home. All at once she seemed to be bombarrded with a flock of welcoming home. "Thank you girls. I missed you guys so much. I wish you could've come there were so many sites!" Aura explained happily, an exhausted look in her eye. Aura felt the lack of interest from Katie before she spoke again, looking at her sister Si'la. "Wow, when did this happen?" She asked, coming forward to take a lock of her sister's now short hair. "It's adorable Si'la!" Aura complimented and removed her hand from her sister's hair. Then, Aura noticed the boy that'd let her in. "So which one of you is he arranged to?" She asked, still needing an explanation as she tried to express that through her tone.

Ace smirked somewhat, he hadn't remembered that there had been another sister. He nodded at Katie, who introduced her to him. "I'm engaged to Alvidia, but it seems that she's going for my younger brother, so, I'm free from that hopefully." he said, shrugging somewhat. He sat down again and took his cards, tilting his head. "Where were you?" he asked, his father hadn't explained anything about her.

Katie took a drink of her tea, nodding to what Ace had said about Alvidia. But she said nothing. She just sat her cards face down on the table and looked up at the ceiling."Your stuck with the next guy to show up." She said softly, since she had overheard her father talking about it."Keels with margaret, Drakes with Si'la, I'm with Shin and your with the next brother to walk threw that door."

Quickly Aura smiled at Ace's question. "Well you see, I love to sparr and fight. And the coach I've had since I was a little girl asked me last year if I wanted to go around Europe and participate in different kinds of sparring events. So I joyfully accepted. I'm just glad to be home, I missed my sister's a lot." Aura explained and sat down away from Katie, having sensed her hostility. She wasn't completely sure, but Aura knew that her relationship with Katie wasn't as close anymore and it made her a little sad. Nodding at Katie's statement, Aura shrugged. "That's fine with me. If it's what our parents want then I have no choice. They wouldn't do it without a good reason so I won't object." Aura smiled meekly.

Hotaru walked into the kitchen and bowed to the people that was there, picking up everything that Alvilda had cooked for dinner, placing it onto the dinning room table. "Dinner is served." he said to all the guests and the sisters as he walked about the house to let them know, the last place he stopped was Alvilda's room. "Dinner is ready to eat. You may go and eat now while i stay and watch over her." he said to the people in the room as he ran a hand through his white hair, his ice blue eyes scanning over them as he waitted for them to go and eat.

He raised an eyebrow and tilted his head. "So you can fight?" he asked. That was a little different. And to allow their daughter to do such a thing was even more surprising. At her response to the whole arranged marriage he blinked. "Well, you're a very.. Understanding girl. Most would hate to be with someone they don't know." he commented. When the white haired male came up and told them dinner was ready he tilted his head but nodded, looking down at his cards before putting them in the deck. "Well, just in time." he said, shrugging lightly.
Shin tilted his head at the man but he nodded, looking down at the sleeping girl. He shrugged, looking at the younger sister. "Well, lets go get some food." he offered, starting to walk out of the room, nodding at the man. "Thank you." he said. |
