Katie saw Ren and smiled, hugging him."Oh, I missed you!"She said, backing up from the hug."Janice got hit by a carriage and now he's depressed and will probably kill himself..and I don't think me telling him that I had a misscariage helped anything..."She said, frowning a little, she looked at Ace."I was a bit harsh..but he tried to shoot you..so I think its pretty fair." She said, taking his hand again and looking at Ren."You should talk to him, your really the only one he listens to anymore. But it's so nice seeing you again." She gave Ren a small smile.

"Oh...Katie. You don't understand the whole story. Hotaru lied to you about a lot of horrible things in his past. He didn't want you to pity him, he didn't want no one to pity him...and Maw committed suicide the day before you got married. You see....you just add more....." Ren had hugged her back, he was cut off by a gun shot ringing out from the barn. The look on his face making the boyish teen look far older then he ever had, horses neighing, and freaking out. Ren froze in place as his eyes were wide, he looked towards the barn, worried that his brother had done the one thing that he wouldn't be able to go and see.

Katie ran into the barn, not letting go of Ace's hand at all."Taru?" She called, sounding sort of like a frightened kid. She hadn't meant to be that mean to him..just she was pretty pissed he tried to kill Ace.

When he saw Katie run into the barn, it helpped get Ren moving, he ran after her, pulling Katie out of the barn and pushing her into Ace's arms, he then searched around for his brother whom seemed to have dissappear, except for a trace of blood that was on the floor. This really got Ren worried, he knew Hotaru, and he knew just how stupid and suicidual the man could get when he was depressed, it wasn't something that could be stopped or helpped, after all it did run through the family, but he couldn't tell Katie that.

She was crying into Ace's shoulder."Great..I made him kill himself!" She said, putting her head up and running inside. She went to Ace's room and grabbed a bottle of alcohol from the chest and then went back outside."I need this.."She mumbled, taking a drink from it and going back to Ace's arms.

ace blinked, wide eyed as Katie went into the barn when the gunshot ran. He would have gone after her, but didn't need to as the boy ran in and grabbed Katie. He wrapped his arms around her before he frowned. He wasn't sure how he could be of any help. The only thing he could think of was Janice, but she was in the hospital. He raised an eyebrow and looked down at Katie with worried eyes. "What can I do to help?" he asked once she came back, he just held her again.

((I will be leaving you guys in supene for the moment so Ace and Katie can talk lol))

"I just wish we would've never came back.."She muttered."This is all my fault! If I would've just stayed the extra day nothing would've happened to anyone.."She said, starting to head back to the house."I need to curl into bed and die.."She groaned.

He frowned, going after her before he grabbed her arm, stopping her. "It is not your fault and don't you dare die on me." he said, narrowing his eyes at her. "No body has to blame. It just happened. Hotaru just needs to deal better with news. And, you.. need to stop blaming yourself for every single little thing." he said. "Everything will turn out for the better. The baby probably wasn't meant to be.."

She hugged him, putting her head on his chest."I won't.." She said, giving him a small kiss but her frown not changing. But she stopped crying."I'm still going upstairs." She stated, going inside but still holding his hand."I don't want to see what happened to him..it'll just make me feel worsse just as i'm feeling better." She said, going into Aces room and sittign on the bed with the alcohol but sitting it on the nightstand. She patted the spot next to her, just wanting to be held.

Ace followed her quietly. Once they got to his room, he closed the door before nodding as he sat down next to her. He wrapped his arms around her, holding her close to him. "Then you won't see." he said simply. He just hoped everything would turn out well.

She kissed hims softly, stroking the bruise on his face."I'm really sorry you got hurt.."She mumbled, giving him another kiss and running her hand over his shirt."You look better without one.."She joked, knowing now wasn't a good time for a joke but she was trying to brighten things.

((someone is knocking on the bedroom door))

Ace smirked lightly, kissing her before he looked at the door. He frowned a little before he gave her one more kiss, standing up and heading to the door. He opened it a little, raising an eyebrow.

She groaned, burying her head in the pillow since he wasn't by her anymore."Who is it?" She asked, sounding muffled since her head was in the pillow. Though she knew it had to be something about Hotaru so she sat up.

Ren stood in the doorway with a grim look on his face, he had blood on his hands from where he had cleaned up the blood her found in the barn. He looked from Ace to KAtie, not saying anything at first until he sighed heavily and ran a hand through his grey hair. "Well.....he is missing. I looked everywhere for him....all i found were theses." he said to them in a voice that was just as grim as the look on his face, he reached by the door and picked the Janice fairy up and that half werewolf Hotaru up, showing them the only thing that he had found. The one that was of Hotaru had blood on it, and it's head had been cut off, lying at the creatures feet.

She looked at Ren."Do you want us to help you look for him?" She asked, raising one of her eyebrows. Even though she was tired from all of this she would go after Hotaru if Ren wanted her to. She looked at Ace, frowning slightly.

He frowned as he glanced at the figures. "This isn't good..." he muttered. The worst part was, he couldn't really help since he was sure that if Hotaru saw him, he'd probably try to kill him. He looked back at Katie, he nodded. "Yeah, what can we do to help?"

"There is nothing much any of us can do. He....he is sick right now...anymore bad news and......" Ren couldn't finish his sentence, he set the figures down, they both came up to his knee, the free head rolled onto the floor, personally it sadden him that Hotaru saw himself as a monster. "He will show up......but until then.....just, watch your self. Ace, he may not like you at all, but when it comes to Janice...it is clear that he loves her more then he ever did Cat. Sorry." he said to them, he looked around Ace and at Katie, apologizing to her for saying the truth, but in away he was glad he was finally over her, after all it meant that he could find somone else to love. He sighed heavily as he ran another hand through his hair, as he looked between the two of them, before he bent down and picked the head up from the figure, frowning as he looked at it.

"Thank god, I was worried he'd always be hung up on me.."She mumbled, nodding at what Ren said."So we should do nothing?" She asked, sort of happy she didn't have to get up. She laid back in the bed and stared at Ren, he had grown up so much since she last saw him. "Sorry Ace.."She said, since Janice was his sister and Ace really disliked Hotaru.

Ace nodded, frowning a little. Great. I've got a guy after me now. It wasn't too new to him, but this one bothered him since. He liked his sister. And the guy didn't like him. This was a recipe for disaster. "Thank you." he muttered, looking a bit more worried. He sighed somewhat, running a hand through his hair, wincing somewhat as he touched a sore spot. "I guess so." he said.

((I'm going out to eat soon and probably wont be back for like an hour and a half ^^ ))

Katie got up when Ace winced and kissed the side of his face."Want me to get you some ice? So it doesn't swell or anything.."She asked, rubbing his shoulders."Or are you bleeding anywhere?"She asked, a worried expression on her face. She looked at Ren."Sorry about your mother."
