"Meet at the Hyde Park, tonight, yes yes... midnight. I'll be there." Kate ended the call, someone named Mr.Kilfford needed someone killed... he was a well known rich man, he would sure pay her bigggg money.

Anya was crouched at the top of a building under construction. The builders had all gone home for the day leaving the place deserted apart from her and her sniper rifle. She had been ordered to kill someone down in Hyde Park, who was supposed to be arriving at midnight. She checked the time. 23:55. Not long to wait...

At exactly midnight, Kate stepped out of the shadows and walked towards the man waiting near the fountain. "Excuse me sir what time is it?"
"Time we get down to business, " he replied nervously.
"Good, let's walk." Kate started walking slowly, it was obvious the old man wasnt feeling very comfortable, walking usually helped her clients calm themselves.
"Who is this man you wish me to kill?" Kate asked carefully,

Anya zoomed in carefully on the pair and her eyes widened. There was her target, a pretty young woman around the same age as herself, but what was her employer doing with her? Why did he hire Anya to kill the girl when he had arranged to meet her? Perhaps he had provided the means to lure her out himself. Well, she wasn't going to charge any less simply because of that. She zoomed in on the young woman's head and prepared to fire.

The man slowly took out a picture, A4 size, "I want you to kill this woman." It was a picture of a young pretty woman, who looked sweet and as if she couldnt harm a fly. Maybe around the age of 22 ish?

Anya paused, her finger on the trigger. She zoomed in closely on the picture he was showing the target. It was a picture of her! What on earth was he doing? Why was he showing the target who he had called her the other day about a picture of her? He couldn't be warning her of an attack? No, she knew that look on his face well. He was asking her to kill her. But why? What reason could he possibly have to send two professional killers to kill each other? Did he have a death wish?
Thinking on the spot, she aimed the sniper rifle at his leg and fired. She wasn't going to carry out her mission until she got some answers. As he collapsed, his leg bleeding, she quickly packed up her sniper rifle and began to make her way down to ground level.

Kate looked round and saw a shadow swivel away... another killer?
Kate couldnt risk being found, she quickly bound Mr.Kliffords leg with her scarf and ran away.

Anya scanned the area as she ran. The "target" had disappeared. Too quickly to be a normal person. It confirmed Anya's suspicion that she too was a hitwoman. She approached Mr Kliffords who was trying desperately to stand, blood staining his expensive trousers.
"I think you owe me an explanation," said Anya sweetly, smiling at him, her eyes cold. She put the barrel of her handgun to his head.

Kate was crouched in a bush, the lady from the photo was pointing a sniper at Mr.Kliffords head, these two obviously knew each other. She tried to here their conversation but the rustle of the trees were too loud. She just sat and watched.

Mr Klifford looked up at her in shock. The handgun was still at his head.
"Mr Klifford," she said in her sweet voice. "I would really like you to answer me."
He groaned and clutched his leg. He'd probably never been shot before in his life.

Kate noticed that Mr Klifford was bleeding badly, any smart hitter (hit(wo)men) would leave now. But the girl stayed, Mr Klifford wasnt saying anything he was shaking like a leaf.

This was bad. If he didn't talk soon, then Anya would have to abandon the whole situation for fear of being caught. She'd used a silencer, but even still. Well, if she was going to attract noise anyway...
She lifted her boot off the ground and kicked Mr Kliffords in the leg where he'd been shot. He cried out in pain. "Offered... money... to have... you two killed," he gasped, his breathing irregular. "Didn't see his face...met him on the Trafalgar Bridge on Jugglers Road... please don't kill me..."
"What was his name? Did he tell you how to contact him?"
"I don't know... he said he'd contact me when the job.... was... done."
Anya could tell he was telling the truth. Someone like him could never lie under such stress and pain. So someone wanted her and some random other hitwoman dead. Why? And why get Klifford to do it? Of course he wouldn't manage it. Unless... this must all be a trap. To lure her and the other girl to Trafalgar Bridge where some sort of ambush would be waiting for them. There's no way anyone could seriously believe that a pampered, rich man like Mr Klifford would be able to kill two hitwomen.
Anya quickly stowed her gun away. She knew instinctively that the police were on their way. She needed to get away. There was no danger of Klifford talking. He wouldn't tell the authorities the truth, because by hiring hitwomen, he had been breaking the law. She didn't need to finish him off.
"Tell them that it was me who shot you, and I'll aim for your head next time," she said sweetly, running silently away, until she was out of sight.

Someone must have sound an alarm because soon Kate heard police dogs and saw torches in the wood... she ran away closer to the big buildings. She saw the other woman run straight into the woods.. Kate wanted to call but instead ran into the girl and pushed her into the old building. Kate gasped, "Sorry... K9 are on the way."

It was the other girl. She was even prettier up close, and could only be slightly older than herself, but Anya knew not to judge by appearances. She must be deadly. But now was not the time to be distrusting. She could not afford to be caught by the police.
"Have they surrounded the perimeter?" she asked, reloading her handgun. If there was no way to escape, she'd have to fight her way out.

"Im not sure, they have K9 teams all over the woods, this carbage smell should cover us enough so that the dogs dont notice us. I think the ambulance is with Mr.Klifford and some more police cars circling the park, most likely anyway." Kate replied confidently, she looked outside and saw some K9's

"A bloodbath here would attract too much attention. I think it's best we get away stealthily... we also won't survive at all unless we help each other out here" said Anya. She didn't much like the idea of working in a team but there wasn't much choice. Survival came first. She took out her sniper rifle. "I'll cover you if you make a run for it. I'll follow afterwards."

Kate had been trained and drilled to work as a team before, so she didnt mind it too much. only that this girl didnt seem to flushed with the idea.
"No, no can't go out now! Didnt you just hear what i said? The K9's are out, we cant leave this stench unless theyre gone. Else theyll definitely find us no doubt!" Kate said a little annoyed that this you hitter didnt seem to have that sense.

"they're going to thoroughly search the entire area," said Anya. "Even if they can't smell us, it's only a matter of time until we're found. If you're not going to make a run for it, I will."

This girl was stubborn and very annoying, Kate sighed angrily. "Dont you get it?! We're winning time by staying here. If you or we go out there, then they'll find us!" Kate walked to the other side of the room, she lifted the rotten carpet, "Look, here's a tunnel it leads to the outside of the park, we just need to wait till the cars have gone, until then we can either stay comfortable here, with plenty of oxygen. Or... go down there and be uncomfortable and have lack of oxygen... or make a runner and get caught, but in the last case that would only be you."

"A tunnel?" Anya didn't like the sound of that. "That's too convenient... whoever hired Klifford to kill us knew he wouldn't have a chance and probably meant to trap us. I find it hard to believe that Klifford himself happened to choose a park with a tunnel." She was unsur, but they didn't have a whole lot of choice. The girl was right - it was better to wait them out, so long as they had a good enough hiding place. "All right... but we have to make sure they won't find us, or it'll be pointless. How did you know there was a tunnel here anyway?"

Kate sighed, this girl was really getting on her nerves. "A good hitter either knows all the secrets of a place or makes them." Kate had dug this tunnel when some badass gang had caught and tried to misuse her, they were homeless and stayed in this dump so now she uses it from time time.

Was it just her, or was her new-found "ally" being stuck up? Anya didn't let it bother her. She peeked outside. She turned back and gave the girl one of her innocent smiles. "Sorry, but I don't rally want to wait in a hole. I'm off to Trafalgar bridge. It's a trap anyway, but I want to see who wants me dead. See you later, maybe."
With a wave, she slung the bag containing her sniper rifle over her back and ran silently out, keeping to the shadows. She kept her hand gun handy, silencer attached, in case someone spotted her.

Kate rolled her eyes, "Ok whatever" she sighed.

She looked at her watch 9pm already?! She grunted, Jasper would be waiting for her at her apartment... he had one kill to do today so he said they could have a night together. Obviously not since she's stuck here for now.

She gathered her stuff and started her way down the tunnel, it was very close to the ground surface so she was sure the K9's could smell her. But nothing happened, soon she was outside the park where all gays and lesbos meet up for ... anyway she quickly ran out of the park end before some weirdo woman caught her.
