Sniffing the air, the tall woman shook her head. It was about to rain. Her silent footsteps swiftly brought her to the nearest shelter, which, at that moment, was a cavern not far from the trail she was following. Rajha had been tracking a family of dragons for a good month or so, and she still felt none the closer to her goal. She wanted their talons - reputation amongst the people, money to pay her fares, and adventure that built her skill.
Sitting against the wall beside the dark cave's entrance, her brown eyes scanned over the damp grass and soil outside as the rain slowly built up speed. It was pouring a few minutes later. Wrapping her leather-clad arms about her pale form, the woman sighed. Stuck again. Dragons didn't care about the rain; they would keep going while Rajha herself had to stop and wait. Might as well get some sleep.
Brushing her long black hair out of her face, she tied it back before making herself comfortable. Leaning against the stone wall behind her, Rajha's hands moved over the red markings and tattoos that she had decorating her skin - she had them nearly everywhere. Each one was a dragon she'd fought, killed, or captured. The red marks had started out as a way to hide her scars, but now they merely emphasized them, bringing their pale lines through in more dramatic ways.
Closing her brown eyes, Rajha let her mind drift through thoughts of her journey. I need to stop by a city and replenish my supplies soon. With that thought in mind, the young woman slowly fell into the clutches of sleep.

Darkos walked throught the rain and looked around for prey, he was gettinging pleted by the rain, but he couldn't feel it "come out, come out, where ever you are" he wispered to himself, then he decided to give up and started to jump arund playfully in the mud, while jumping he let out playful roars.

Slowly being roused from sleep, the woman frowned. Dragon? Standing, Rajha peered out into the pelting rain, wishing she could see through it. With a weary sigh, she slipped her ragged crimson hood over her eyes before stepping out into the night, heading toward the noise she heard cautiously. Her blades, twin scimitars, were in her hands as she saw a large shape moving ahead of her. Crouching as she crept up near what she thought to be the dragon, the hunter let out a small hiss before leaping at it.

Darkos heard a noise and thought nothing of it, until he felt something leap on him, his eyes opened with fear and anger "wha?" he yelled as he started to flail around "get off me! get off" he yelled as he kept flailing and roaring in rage

Rajha yelped as the dragon began to flail, but she was skilled in the ways of both avoidance and keeping on her target. Swiftly sheathing one blade, the woman held the second high, ready to plunge it downward into the creatures ribcage. "Die, beast!" Her eyes flashed with anger as she aimed for his heart, and prepared to kill the dragon.

Darkos tried to crawl away "noooo..." he yeld as he began to cry "...please don't kill me... im to young to die" he sobbed as he looked a Rajha "please have mercy" he begged as he try to get up "i won't kill you, i promise"

Dragons rarely begged for mercy, let alone speak. The very fact that this one had made the woman hesitate. "Why?" she spat, her blade still raised as she frowned. "Why shouldn't I kill you like the beast you are?"

Darkos looked up st the hunter and smiled a bit "well... i could help you in what ever way you want... i am not realy a beast... and i don't want to get killed the same way my familey did" he said as he looked at the sky

"Whatever I want?" Rajha hesitated, her blade lowering just a bit. As she slowly sheathed it, the woman moved away from the dragon, seeming intent on his every move and ready to attack. "What if it involves your kind?" Her brown eyes narrowed, and the red-marked female inclined her head dangerously. "You aren't the ones I was tracking last night. Can you scent them out for me?"
She had to shout to be heard over the rain, and she was hoping that the water wouldn't wash away the trail of the creatures she was hunting.

Darkos got up thought about whether he should run or stay "well... i can scent the other" he sniffed the air "but not yet, i can only smell rain" he said and sneeze to get the rian out of his nose "now... what your name, why are you here?" he asked and began to walk arpund her "you seem quite intresting"

Her red eyes followed the dragon as he moved around her, looking her over. The dark-haired woman merely inclined her head, watching for any signs of attack. "I am Rajha," she said, straightening. "I am following the dragons North." To bring back their claws and horns as trophies. The hunter frowned, but said nothing further. "And what is your name, creature?"

Darkos smiled and then wondered for a moment "my name is Darkos... i am also 2000 years old, i know thats not as old as others, i may still be young but i sure am deadly, i can make a good body gaurd" he then got closer and closer until he near enough touching her "but why are you following the dragons?"

"A woman can't be curious anymore?" she muttered, slowly reaching forward to stroke Darkos' nose. With blades sheathed, Rajha frowned again. "I track the histories of dragons in the current age." Which was true, if you left out the fact that she ran them down and killed them. "And I wouldn't mind a bit of dragon assistance, if that's what you're offering."

Jake smiled and then nudged her and bit "yeah, i would love to travel with a human, others say humans are evil, at first i thought you were but now i know your not" he said and then happily started to jump up and down "where are we going first then"

Rajha tried not to act annoyed by the way the dragon bounced about, and pulled her arm away from him when the beast nudged her. "First? We're going to follow their trail," she said over the rain, rolling her eyes. The crimson orbs lingered on Jake for a few moments before she pointed to the cave she'd been resting in. "I need to sleep for the night, but I want to head North in the morning. I don't want to lose the dragons."

Jake jumped around and then licked her "yay" he said putting his wing over her so that she wouldn't get any more wet "so what do you do for a job? where do you live? how old are you?" he asked her and smiled "im just curious"

Rajha frowned when Jake sheltered her from the rain, and then led the way back to the cave she'd come from. "For a beast, you really haven't learned to keep your mouth shut, have you?" Her words were a growl, but the dark-haired woman slowly let her frown disappear. "I used to live in the sea-side city to the North. But my work, which involves dragons, led me away." The pale woman shook her head. "I track them, record their passing, and . . . gather trophies that they leave behind." Her red eyes narrowed as they entered the cavern. "I am . . ." she paused, thinking. "I am twenty-one. And you, dragon? How old are you?"
Sitting down, she began to wring her hair dry, watching Jake with vague interest. Her hand lingered over the red tattoo-like markings on her shoulder as she crossed her arms over her chest. "How many years have you seen?"

Jake looked sad when she was talking after she said that he hadn't leard to shut his mouth, he listened but didn't say a word, when they got to cave he laid by the entrance in the rain and looked in "i have seen 2000 years, i still a hell of alot more to go" he said and then turned his head to face away

Rajha shrugged, and then turned her crimson gaze to the darkness outside as the rain continued to fall. The woman settled down, slowly falling into a light doze as the hour wore on.

I will be dropping most of my RP's, so I do hope you don't take this personally, but I might have to start lessening my list of 20+ threads. :sweat: I love RPing with you, but I think this one will have to be dropped. :( Most of mine will. :())
