The vampire didn't move. Not even a twitch now.

Inside, Thomas was frantically dialing the phone, glancing out his office towards the door and out the tinted windows every few seconds.

ContessaLeandra 06-29-2010 08:43 AM

Silvana was a bit worried now. If Zadist did not wake up, she would have drive Zadist to his apartment and take the paperwork back to Thomas the next day (and while she was at it, apologize profusely for the hit and run). If he was this exhausted, then he really should not be out in the daytime. He was in no state for outings--honestly, why had he even bothered to think he was capable of it? The girl gave a heavy sigh, then grasped both of the man's shoulders, shaking with all her might. "ZADIST, WAKE UP, PLEASE!" She was not looking forward to shoving his much larger, heavier body over to the passenger's side.

Kisu 06-29-2010 08:45 AM

The vampire's head lolled around slightly, and as soon as Silvana released him, the male slumped down in the seat, once more twitching.

After a moment, Thomas, seeming jumpier than a moment ago, opened the door, calling out, "C'mon...fell asleep? N-nothing will get him up for a bit...C-come inside, r-rest...I'll get you something. C'mon..." He urged, ducking back inside to avoid the sun's evil rays himself.

ContessaLeandra 06-29-2010 08:50 AM

Silvana glanced at Thomas, then back at Zadist. She assumed the other vampire was correct about Zadist not being able to get up, but she did not exactly want to leave him in the car in this state. She needed to get him back home. That, and Thomas was... Odd? He had not been particularly charming to talk to, so she did not want to hang around the dealership inside, completely bored, with the Eclipse in parking lot until Zadist woke up. It would be a waste of time. "No thanks," Silvana called, reaching into the car to try and drag Zadist over to her side of the car, so she could take the wheel. "I'm just going to take him back home. I'll bring the paperwork back tomorrow, if you don't mind. Have a good day, Thomas!" Silvana heaved, managing to pull the male a couple of inches, but he was still nowhere near where she needed to get him.

Kisu 06-29-2010 08:53 AM

"W...what???" Thomas questioned, moving to the doorway. "W-wait! Missus Dvorak, please, he c-could be upset...Come on inside..." The vampire glanced about, cursing under his breath before stepping into the sun, moving towards the female. Inside the car, music was once again blaring from the glove department. "Come on, I really can't be out her, Miss."

ContessaLeandra 06-29-2010 08:59 AM

Silvana groaned. Thomas had a point. He might be upset if she took him home after passing out, without completing the transaction. Then again... Well, she did not want to find out, so hopefully he would not take too much longer. The music blared from the glove compartment again, so she opened it and checked the phone to see who was calling. Did it have a name on it? She could not answer, regardless, because it would result in trouble for her. Silvana was hardly close enough with Zadist and buddy-buddy with his family to be answering his phonecalls. She put the phone next to the vampire, so when he woke up, he could see who he'd missed. And, since she had no other choice, decided to take Thomas up on his offer. "Okay, okay. I'll come inside. Don't burn yourself for my sake. But like I said, if you try anything, Zadist is only one of your worries. My dad is a Mafia boss. And he will take you out." She walked towards Thomas, shaking her index finger at him. "Non sto scherzando. Io sono italiano. Potrete dormire con i pesci. (I'm not joking. I'm Italian. You will sleep with the fishes.)"

Kisu 06-29-2010 09:03 AM

The caller id listed Cynn as the caller.

Thomas seemed relieved right away, moving back inside and waiting patiently for Silvana. "Very good...very good...What would you like, Coffee, water, soda?" He seemed much more mollified and relaxed, clicking the door locked and switching the sign to closed. "Watching you and seeing to your needs is much more important than any customer."

ContessaLeandra 06-29-2010 09:08 AM

Silvana was getting "creeper vibes" from Thomas. The alarm lights in her mind flashed when he locked the door and turned the sign... Maybe he thought he was being subtle about it, but Zadist had warned her about other vampires. Though most of them would protect her with their lives after hearing his name, she was certain he had plenty of enemies, too. Even without the warning, the prospect of "stranger danger" had been pounded into her head all of her childhood up to her teen years. And she was certainly not horrible-looking enough not to attract stalkers and rapists and... Would-be pedophiles. She supposed all vampires were technically pedophiles, if they were that old. Still, she sat down in a chair and glanced around the office nervously. Might as well have a drink, as long as Thomas was not going to drug it. "I like soda," she said. "But you better not drug it."

Kisu 06-29-2010 09:10 AM

"Of course not." Thomas replied evenly, disappearing for a moment. He reappeared a moment later, a pepsi dangling from his hand. He handed her the bottle before moving across from her, sitting awkwardly, his gaze darting around. "So. Uh. How did you two meet?"

ContessaLeandra 06-29-2010 09:16 AM

Silvana took a sip from her Pepsi, then set it on the floor beside her feet. She folded her hands neatly in her lap, examining Thomas' awkward facial expression for a moment, and then wetting her lips with her tongue before she began her second tale of woe/awe. "Well, it all began long ago, in a galaxy far far away..." she started, gazing past Thomas with a far-off nostalgic look. "I was dragged into a nightclub with my girlie friends. One of them let Z coax her outside. So I followed them to prevent her from getting raped. I threw a trashcan lid at his face. Then he came at me, so I made him count pieces of trash to distract him, and then the stars... Tried to run. He's too fast, in general, and at counting." Silvana took a deep breath so she could continue. "For some reason I smelled really good, so he didn't want to tear me limb from limb. And so he took me home, and stole my maiden purity." Silvana was quite serious. "After we watched Mulan, of course. I love Mulan. Anyway. My bedroom moves were so amazing that he became addicted to me, and I escaped death. The end."

Kisu 06-29-2010 09:21 AM

The vampire looked like he wasn't sure whether to laugh or simply let his eyeballs twirl in his head. After almost ten minutes of him staring open mouthed at Silvana, a knock was heard, and the vampire jumped up, almost flying to the door and flinging it open.

Inside stepped a dark haired woman, eyes pitch black. Her skin was almost translucent, underneath veins that were impossibly bright blue were twirling. The almost seemed alive, shifting under her. She was scowling at the male, and Thomas began whispering quickly. Behind her, two large men who veins were doing the same stepped forward, one shoving a suitcase at Thomas, who took it and glanced at Silvana regretfully.

The female stepped forward, eying Silvana before grinning. There was an insane lilt to the smile, as if this woman wasn't completely there, despite her beauty. She pointed to SIlvana, nodding afterwords. "Put her in the car. We'll do this back home." Her voice rung like bells, almost enthralling.

ContessaLeandra 06-29-2010 09:30 AM

It did not take a rocket scientist to figure out what was going to happen now. Those were changed vampires standing in the doorway, and Silvana could take a wild guess as to who the girl was. But she was not going down without a fight. "LET'S DANCE!" Silvana said, grabbing her Pepsi and throwing it at Thomas. Then she picked up her chair and threw it at the vampires too, scrambling away in a fit of laughter at herself. Let's dance, what the hell?! She grabbed a jar of paperclips, at the end of the building hallway and scattered them all over the floor, screaming, "How many paperclips are there?!" and wheeling down another turn, looking for a fire exit or... Well, there was a fire extinguisher, that would do! She grabbed it off the wall, glancing in their directions, and practically tripped into another office, whose door she slammed and locked. There was a phone, which she picked up quickly and dialed 9-1-1 on, and let fall off the hook, then she backed up against the wall, standing on top of a wheely chair. When someone came in, she could propel herself at them and spray them with the fire extinguisher... Directly in the eyes, and hopefully run fast enough to make it out the front door and jack a car. Too many B-level action movies? One would think so.

Kisu 06-29-2010 09:35 AM

All four of the vampires were completely baffled, though one thing had definately registered. They were currently huddled around the paperclips, and arguing could be heard. It wasn't too long before they could be heard moving again, outside the door Silvana was in.

After a bit of bickering, Thomas finally spoke quietly, on the threat of having his suitcase taken, "He is outside. In his car. He must have been moving around all day, because he is out cold."

At this, peeling laughter was heard, as well as a rap on the door. Sirens were wailing in the distance, getting closer, so the woman spoke up, talking over them. "Here that, Missy? Zadist is in his car, hmm? I wonder how he'd feel about seeing me again...Think he wants a kiss? Or maybe I'll just slit his throat while he sleeps, hmm? And there were two hundred twelve paperclips."

ContessaLeandra 06-29-2010 09:45 AM

Silvana held tightly onto the fire extinguisher, knowing that with the sirens coming closer, the police would soon arrive and all the vampires would have to scatter to avoid detection. Not because they could not take the police, but they would want to keep themselves secret. At least, it seemed like the practical course of action even to Silvana's not-so-logic mind. They were threatening her to slit Zadist's throat, but Silvana was not altogether sure if that would kill him, or if he would not wake up at the last minute to give them a sound thrashing. Even if that threat worked, she knew the difference in strength. She could hardly prevent them from killing Zadist, even if she gave herself up. "Really, because that jar said there were over 200 more than that!" she screamed through the door. "You must have missed some, go look!"

If only she could get out of this room, and make it past those guys. Hey, if they were busy counting and she was armed with the fire extinguisher... She crept towards the door, glancing through the window to see if her second diversion had worked. If not, she could conk them on the head, spray another guy, and kick another in the family jewels! ...If that worked on vampires.

Kisu 06-29-2010 09:47 AM

There was a pause, and they began adding up what they had each counted once more. After that the woman spoke again, "We didn't miss any...little twit is tricking us...C'mon. She doesn't want to give herself up for him, that's fine. Let's get Zadist. It's been a while..."

At that, three sets of footsteps faded, Thomas remaining. "I...I am sorry, Miss. Not everyone is as well off as Mr. Dvorak. Try to understand..." After a moment, his footsteps faded as well.

ContessaLeandra 06-29-2010 09:53 AM

Was it a trick? Oh, well. Silvana could not hide in the office indefinitely. And even if the vampires had just pretended to walk away from the door, there was the chance that their threats were true. She did not want them to go anywhere near Zadist, just because of her. Even though it was as annoying as Hades, sacrificing herself in an act of blatant stupidity, Silvana had to do it. She groaned loudly and obviously, urging the police to get there faster. And so, with that, she kicked open the door with a foot and began screaming about how they needed to defend Gondor from the forces of Mordor at all costs. She swang the fire extinguisher around like a madwoman and then shooting it off. It was like Christmas in summer! Like in New Zealand and Australia, except this time it was in a dealership, in a hallway... In America. American wommaaaan, stay awayyyy. American womaaan. This is what I saaaay~

Kisu 06-29-2010 09:56 AM

(...0.0;;; )

The vampires weren't exactly sure what was happening, and were in various stages. The two buffs males were hiding under a desk, fighting to get their bulk under. The woman was glaring, gritting her teeth, and Thomas was trembling, clinging to his suitcase.

A mere moment later, the front door opened, white hair twirling furiously as Zadist stormed in, his cell phone in his head. He froze, the vicious look leaving his face as he spotted the ebony haired woman. "M-Melody...? Why...? Why are you here?" His voice was strained, pained, and he seemed to have forgotten about Silvana completely, despite the various white fluff shooting about.

ContessaLeandra 06-29-2010 10:05 AM

Silvana heard Zadist's voice and immediately dropped the fire extinguisher. And like blur of pajamas and dark hair, she shot past all the other vampires, who were distracted by everything going on. Her mind said something more about snow and whether you could build snowmen out of fire extinguisher foam, but she urged it to shut up, and darted behind Zadist. He looked completely absorbed in the other woman's presence, and did not notice her at all. But she was going to assert herself to remind him. "Zadist, I was almost kidnapped," she announced, loudly, stamping one foot. "Don't fall asleep in the car again!" Then she glared at the other woman, the damned Melody, who had been the cause of every bad thing that had ever happened the the male vampire. If she was Wonder Woman, she would have beat the crap of her. Alas, she was only little Silvana, and not good at fighting anything except with her skills of confusion.

Kisu 06-29-2010 10:07 AM

The male had glanced back in suprise, as if remembering Silvana for the first time. He didn't say anything, however, turning back to stare at Melody. The woman purred, wiggling her fingers at the male. "See you Sunday..." She turned, and the two males reappeared by her side, quickly moving out a side door.

Zadist continued to stare after her for a few moments, before stepping forwards, as if to follow her.

ContessaLeandra 06-29-2010 10:13 AM

Silvana's heart wrenched. Rather than expressing concern over what happened, or yelling at Melody, Zadist just gazed after her like a lost puppy. He wandered after her, as she disappeared through another door. He left Silvana standing in the entrance room alone. In a split second of realization, Silvana understood that despite all the horrible things the changed woman had done... He still loved her. Perhaps Silvana was just a replacement for her now. He had not known Silvana for that long, why should she be anything more? Just because she showed him affection and did not recoil at his touch... Well, Silvana had seen enough.

While the other vampires fled, she heard the police coming up. Her eyes watered, and she fought back the tears. Why did she bother being a brave girl, anyway, trying to save herself and Zadist? Silvana turned and sprinted out the front door, towards the police cars... She would tell them something, like, someone had tried to hurt her but that they were gone now. That way no one would find Thomas and Zadist, and she could be taken home to her parents. Where she belonged.

Kisu 06-29-2010 10:19 AM

Thomas had vanished outside, taking one of the cars away.

Zadist, on the other hands, had stepped out after Melody. The woman had vanished as well, most likely in the sports car Zadist spotted racing away. Silvana crossed his mind once more, as his ears picked up more tires squealing to a stop. He moved quickly to where she'd been left, only to watch as she raced towards the police. A shot of fear ran through his body.

Had Melody tramatized Silvana so bad that the female was going to tell? Even if they didn't believe her...how could she? Gritting his teeth against the pain he was about to inflict on himself, Zadist moved into the daylight, following Silvana. He caught up to her quickly, gripping her wrist and glancing about, staring intently into different police officers eyes for a few moments, finally turning, tugging Silvana towards the car. "What do you think you were doing?" He hissed at her, opening her door and waiting for the female to sit.

ContessaLeandra 06-29-2010 10:25 AM

"I dunno if you noticed," Silvana mumbled under her breath, colder than she thought she had even spoken before. "But your ex girlfriend almost TOOK me. I called the police so they would be forced to leave while I bought time. You were completely out." She shot Zadist a seething look. "Of course, the moment you saw HER...." She rubbed a hand down her face, wondering how her mood had undergone such a drastic change, and why she felt so angry and jealous and hurt suddenly. Zadist was bound to still love Melody, after such a long past. She really could not hold a candle to that woman, even at her nicest, most caring... "Look, I'm not your replacement for her. I want to go home now."

Kisu 06-29-2010 10:31 AM

The vampire had fallen silent, getting into his own side and staring at her as if she'd grown horns. "You think...? Silvana..."

Zadist shook his head, facing forward, setting his face into the steely mask he'd worn for centuries now. Why should he beg and plead for her to stay? She didn't bother trying to understand, just made assumptions. Let her keep them. "Fine." He snapped, his tires squealing as Zadist peeled from the parking lot, heading towards Silvana's home. "Fine. Go home."

He drove the rest of the way in silence, almost running multiple cars off the road, then glaring at them as if it was their fault. He finally braked in front of Silvana's house, still refusing to look at her and still glaring at whatever his eyes feel on. Zadist moved to the trunk, quickly opening it and removing bags. He'd drop these in her room, then do his mind tricks on her parents and get the hell out of here. Inside the car, his phone began ringing again, the Cynn flashing brightly.

ContessaLeandra 06-29-2010 10:37 AM

Silvana's face was stoic, though her insides remained tumultuous. No matter what that the vampire said, she'd seen the look on his face when he'd seen Melody standing there. He could not kill that damned woman if he wanted. He was lost, hurt, enamored... And he would never feel that way about her as long as Melody existed. What did he care that she'd almost been kidnapped and horrifically tortured for him, or that she faced four vampires all on her own and survived? She was not good enough for him. She slid from the car, her eyes fixated on the pavement of the road while he removed her bags from the trunk. Honestly, though, she did not want any of them anymore. She did not want anything that reminded her of him. Not these stupid pajamas--if it had not been broad daylight, she would have torn them off and walked to her house completely naked.

The girl decided to start walking towards her front door, not even waiting for the vampire to give her her things. Her walk turned into a jog, which turned into a run. She wanted to crawl into a hole and die. No one would care if she did, would they? The closest thing she had, though, was her bathroom. And she would spend the entire rest of the day there as soon as she was able.

Kisu 06-29-2010 10:42 AM

The movement attracted the male's attention, and he watched Silvana race towards her house, a frown on his face. Sighing and running a hand through his hair, Zadist cursed quietly, shaking his head. He started to the house, hesitating at the front door.

"Ahh, what the hell..." He muttered. If her parents complained, they were getting their memories changed anyway. The male moved to Silvana's room, dumping the bags there. He hesitated then, moving to her desk and writing a quick note. In case she forgave him. ~Putting food at my house. I'll stop by tonight. Put a piece of paper hanging out your window if I'm welcome. Z~

Zadist made his way back downstairs, pausing by her parents to alter their memories, glancing around once more with a tiny sigh. How to fix this?
