Now Silvana was worried. Melody marked him. She wanted Zadist to take Silvana's memories from her. But, he was so frantic for her to keep them. He lied over it, very well. But it was a good confirmation, if any, that he still loved Silvana and this whole scene. This whole.. "demonstration"... Was a lie. Except, if Melody forced him to make love to her in front of Silvana, the human girl would be physically sick. Just the suggestion of it caused a wave of nausea to flood through her. She swallowed it down, though her eyes continued to water. Not with tears, though she knew the vampiress wouldn't know the difference. That bitch, dare try something like that... In front of her... WITH HER FREAKING MAN?! OH, HELL NO.

"Oh, don't worry," Silvana informed Melody, her voice low and toxic. Suddenly her eyes were flaring with such anger and loathing that she could scarcely believe that such sentiments were winding out of her at an alarming rate. She poured all the malice she had in her to feel, into that dark stare. It would have conveyed her desire, her sheer desire, to shove the vampire woman into a volcano and cackle maniacally as she watched her burst into flames and die once and for all. "I believe Zadist when he says he loves you. How envious I am."

Melody's head snapped towards Silvana so fast a loud cracking sound filled the gas station. She hissed at the other female, "You can't give him children. You can't drink his blood and enjoy it, now can you? You can feel his full power in bed. Talk shit all you wish. I have him and you don't...Zadist..."

The female moved to the gas station counter, the only item in the tiny space still standing. With a smile, she leaned over, her face still tilted to Silvana. Zadist seemed torn, looking back and forth between the women, though the new blood from the vampire was pounding in his veins, telling him his female wished to mate. Take her.

But Zadist didn't truly want her...He wanted his Silvana, and this would hurt her beyond her words. He had to do something, had to stop the power play. Had to make her go. Zadist stepped over to Silvana, kneeling in front of her and staring her in the eye. "Silvana... care for you. I don't want you to be hurt. You're like...a pet, that I could play with. And I don't wish anything bad on you. I don't want you to see this, because I know it would hurt you, but I don't want you. I want you to leave me. I want Melody. A mate, understand? Not a toy..."

Silvana's orbs flickered to Melody, sitting on the gas station counter. Her legs were slightly spread apart, revealing her slut panties, sheer enough to almost see what was beneath them. It made Silvana sick. Everything about Melody made her sick. She was a cold-hearted psycho bitch. And Melody knew that Silvana still held Zadist's heart, no matter what she did and screamed and fumed. She could take his body, but... That was it, really. Silvana's gaze moved to Zadist, when he stooped to talk to her quietly. Lies. His words were lies. But they were well-worded lies. They sounded cruel, they sounded real. If Silvana did not have faith in the man, she would have broke down. But Zadist was right about one thing. She did not want to see him have sex with Melody. He probably already had, in his captivity. And that hurt.

Silvana struggled with her binding for a moment. She did manage to slide her hands forward a bit, so she could lean and use them to prop herself up to her feet. She wobbled, her movements and balance restricted. Whyte also seemed to pale at the idea of Zadist screwing Melody in his presence, but his attention was diverted to Silvana standing up despite the rope. Had he not bound her tightly enough? He took a step towards her, but decided against it because Zadist was between him and the girl.

"I understand perfectly," Silvana said, her voice barely a murmur, that wouldn't have been audible in the presence of anyone but a vampire. "I don't want to see this shit. So if you excuse me, I have a long fucking way to hop to get back home. Gentlemen. Ladies." Silvana shuffled her feet a little, angling herself towards the doorway. She hoped pushing against it would suffice, because she really did not want to have to operate the door handle with her teeth.

"Take her back to the city and throw her out of the car." Melody commanded whyte, before once more ignoring the male and turning to Zadist. Zadist had resisted the urge to steady Silvana, and watched her move away with a pained look. Melody, however, called him over.

Zadist oebyed, lowering his head and stepping up the the female. Melody stroked his hair, offering a smile. "You did wonderfully, love. We can finally be happy together...we can start on that family. One of our own, where we don't need to worry about your bitch of a mother. We can start over."

Zadist didn't respond. He wanted Silvana to bear his children, swollen and round, have those strange cravings, rubbing her stomach. He wanted to curl next to the human girl, protect her, love her. He wanted to see her smile when he turned to her and have her run into his arms when he held them open for her. Why did it seem everything conspired to tear them apart?

Silvana made it back to the Camry on her own, standing by the back door of the car and waiting for Whyte to come back. Which he did. Although, she was not expecting him to look at her the way he did. He stared at her, open-mouthed, as though she were a complete lunatic. He wouldn't be entirely off with that diagnosis. The vampire shook his head, snapping himself to reality, and pulled open Silvana's door. He shoved her back into the car, roughly, not bothering to gag her again. The girl wouldn't resist him. After that, he climbed into the driver's seat and started up the vehicle, backing out of the parking lot without a word.

Silvana glared at the back of his head for a while, fuming. After they'd been driving on the freeway for about ten minutes, Silvana declared, "What a fucking bitch."

Whyte snarled, wheeling on her and almost swerving off the road as he did. "Don't you dare talk about my Melody like that!"

Silvana wouldn't back down. She needed to vent. "Go ahead and kill me, you whale! That bitch is hurting my fucking man, I am going to stab her in the fucking heart!"

At that point, Whyte pulled off to the side of the road and spun around, glaring back at the female venomously. But he didn't say anything, because tears were streaming down Silvana's cheeks. Within moments, she was bawling her eyes out. Not screaming or anything. But sobbing uncontrollably. "Zadist... Lying like that... What the fuck did she do to him? Jesus Christ, you can HAVE her, dude, TAKE HER. GIVE HIM BACK TO ME, YOU BITCH!"

Whyte had to admit. He was impressed by the girl's spunk, and how she had talked back to the vampiress with no fear at all. And she had such faith in the male vampire, it baffled him. How could she stand all that? What Zadist said had sounded genuine to him. But then, Silvana knew him in a way that Whyte didn't.

"Pipe down, okay, lady? I'm not going to throw you out of the car. Quit with all the racket, sheesh." Whyte couldn't even be angry at the human anymore. She looked too pathetic for words.

Zadist finished with Melody as quickly as possible, and was led to the van, crammed full of made vampires. Just in case.

In the backseat sat Silvana's parents, staring at Zadist in horror. Every time they saw him, Zadist was filled with renewed shame. He was sick. The male shuddered before sliding next to Melody, wincing as she touched him. At long last, the van began moving.

Silvana continued to sob and sniffle. She wanted to be free of these ropes, so she could finally wipe her eyes and scrub the fibers off her tongue. Truthfully, she wanted to punch her fist through a window, too, but she would refrain from doing so if she were unbound. The vampire, who Melody had addressed as 'Whyte', would not take kindly to her ruining his car. Not to mention, she would probably bleed. And then he would literally kill her.

"C-Can't you take these ropes off? They hurt, and I promise I'm not g-going to run away," Silvana managed to blubber out, once her tears and sobbing had cleared up somewhat. The century-old vampire regarded her for some moments before complying. Even if she tried to escape, they were in the middle of nowhere. He could easily overpower her if it came to that. What did bother him, though, was how good Silvana smelled. Even with traces of Zadist's scent in her, it did not take away from the promise of her tasty blood.

Whyte really needed to eat.

Silvana flexed her arms, stretching out all of her limbs that had been unmoved for hours that day. Then she mopped at her eyes with the skirt of her dress. "Thank you," she mumbled.

Whyte frowned. He was trying really, really hard to hate Silvana. Considering that he was on Melody's side, and adored her. But Silvana was just so... She was like a little girl. Her short hair, her petite frame, her round face and big eyes. The guy almost felt sorry for Zadist. Almost.

"If you were smart, girlie, you wouldn't fraternize with vampires," Whyte said finally, scratching his nose and sniffing.

"Take me to the nearest pay phone," Silvana said after a moment.

The black limo pulled into the vacated gas station. After her door was opened, Cynn stepped out, sniffing gingerly, then glancing around. "Dammit, Grandpa! They were already here!" She paused, "Yeah I know time is hard to keep track of in your condition, but this is important!" She sighed, stepping back in the car. "Alright, tell me how to get to that warehouse you were talking about..."

Whyte wasn't sure why he decided to help Silvana after all. Something about her plight made him sentimental. Maybe it was just how naively innocent she was, believing that everything could be made right with seemingly one phonecall. She didn't even have change. The vampire literally donated some to her. Donated! He was going soft. What was the world coming to?

Silvana was standing inside a payphone box, while it began to rain. Whyte didn't seem to mind it, though. He was standing in it, leaning against the trunk of his car with hands shoved deep into his coat pockets. The rain poured down onto his hat, licking down the sides of his face and dampening his long, blond hair.

She turned back to the task at hand, sliding a couple of coins into the slot and using the number dial to send through the only vampire's number she'd bother to memorize. Cynn's cell phone. As the dial tone started, with the ringing, Silvana hoped against hope that the female would pick up so Silvana could tell her everything that had happened. Being the future ruler of the born vampires, Cynn had to know something that she could do. Some way that Silvana could help.

The female was tapping her fingers on the leather seats, talking idly when her phone began blaring. She lifted the item, and stared at the number for a moment before sighing and rubbing her temple. "Meh?" She answered shortly, leaning forward as the limo sped up.

Silvana's heart skipped a beat, and she laid a hand upon her chest in sheer relief. The girl leaned up against the side of the phone booth, knowing she'd only paid for ten to fifteen minutes before she would have to insert another coin. And she didn't particularly want to bother Whyte for more. He was already being surprisingly nice to her as is, despite his relationship with Melody. Silvana didn't get vampires at all, sometimes. Anyway.

"Cynn, it's me," she said, rubbing the back of her neck. "Uhm, here, let me just say a lot. I got kidnapped by a vampire working for Melody, and then we went to some gas station. Melody has Zadist, for sure, and he said he didn't want me anymore and that he wanted to raise a family with her. But I think it's bullshit. It was too weird. So I think that Melody has some sort of leverage against him. I don't think the others even realize I am gone. Unless they called you about it. Did they?"

Silvana paused to pant deeply. She'd said quite a mouthful, and all in one breath, which she was now short of.

"I know." Cynn replied when Silvana finished, "And Melody had your parents. And yes, Phayte discovered you were missing about fifteen minutes ago." She paused for a moment, glancing at her phone, which was beeping, "There's another text from him now."

There was another short pause. "Let me guess...you want to help? You up to talking to my mother?"

So that was it! The fucking bitch! The fucking psychobitch! Zadist had cooperated with everything to make sure that Silvana's parents remained alive and well, even letting that filty slut vampire woman touch him and hurt him. Silvana seethed with an unmatched fury. Oh, she was going down, and she would do anything to make it so. Silvana paused, listening to Cynn as she informed her that Phayte and the others knew now. And... Asking if Silvana was up to facing Lillith Dvorak.

Silvana shuddered at the thought of that horrid woman. But, she would do anything. Absolutely anything, to get back at Melody for this, and save her Zadist. Her Zadist, not Melody's.

Silvana exhaled deeply, but replied with confidence. "Hell yeah. I'm just off the freeway, Exit 401. My captor's with me. His name is Whyte. But, I think I like him, so let him go when you guys get here, eh?"

"Get there?" Cynn snorted. "I think not. I'm on my way to the warehouse Zadist will be at. You need to get this Whyte boy to take you to my home and talk some sense into Mother. She won't answer my calls. We need an army right now, Silvana. This is gonna be real tough." Cynn belted out an address: the warehouse. Then there was a click as she hung up.

The female leaned back in the seat, sighing and looking away from her Grandfather, to the other form only see was able to see. "At least you're here, Balto. Don't know how I'd get through this without you..."

Silvana glanced down at the phone receiver after the vampire girl hung up on her. Get Whyte to take her to the Dvorak residence. Maybe Whyte was being nice to her, but she wasn't sure if he'd be THAT nice. Unless Silvana could distract him and steal his car. A long shot. She sighed deeply, returning the phone to its place on the side of the booth, and slipping from it into the rain that had thankfully let up a lot. She repeated the warehouse address in her head, because it was exceedingly important to remember if she was going to be able to save her vampire.

Silvana hesitated, but moved up to Whyte's side. He was lighting a cigarette now, almost leisurely. "Uhm, Whyte... Right? That's your name?" The vampire nodded, shaking out the match flame and taking the cigarette between two fingers. After a drag, he let the smoke seep out and spiral from his mouth, without actually looking at the girl. The used match fell to a puddle beneath his feet.

Silvana frowned, but continued. "Whyte, I'm sorry. But I need one more favor from you."

"Why should I help you?" he asked, actually meeting Silvana's eyes this time. "What's in it for me?"

Silvana paused. "Zadist will no longer be with Melody. You won't have to be jealous about it. And... I promise, I will owe you. And you can call on me for it, whenever you want. I have lots of powerful born vampires as friends." She fell silent, and then spoke up again. "I know it sounds pretty lame, actually. But I don't know what else to offer you."

Whyte chuckled and shook his head. "Well, right now... I'm pretty damn thirsty, girlie. Maybe some blood."

Silvana recoiled, her face whitening in alarm. The man shook his head. "I won't take a lot," he said, grabbing her hand and eying her wrist hungrily. "But if I don't have some soon, I'm going to collapse."

Silvana gritted her teeth, but finally nodded. The vampire smiled. But, instead of really biting her, he nicked a shallow cut on her arm with one of his fangs and closed his mouth over the wound. The girl looked away, wanting to focus on anything but the liquid warmth ebbing out of her. Even with a slash like that, vampires seemed to be able to drain large amounts of blood with no trouble at all. She clasped Whyte's hands on her arm firmly, ready to wrench him away if he did not let go on his own.

He cut it close, she was starting to feel lightheaded. But the man released her suddenly. "Ahh, perfect. Thanks." The man wiped a line of blood at the corner of his mouth on the back of his sleeve, then gestured to the passenger seat of the car. "After you."

When the limo finally pulled to a stop, Cynn filed out slowly, sighing softly before making her way into the building. It was gonna be a long night.

~<3~

At the Dvorak Manor, the slaves seemed to tremble in their boots, and various things lay shattered on the floor. Even the vampires seemed scace, and the occasional bellow seemed to shake the very foundations. "Why should I help that boy??? Time and time again he's disobeyed me! And now PHAYTE!? Who's next, Cynn??? My little CYNN???"

Whyte hadn't seemed happy when Silvana told him where she needed to go. But she reassured him that as soon as he dropped her off at the Dvorak residence, he could abandon her there and drive off. The vampire seemed satisfied with that. Apparently Lillith's reputation was something amongst all vampires, from here to the other end of the planet. Silvana didn't blame the man for being scared. She was terrified to go in there and face the woman on her own.

But as they pulled up to the front gate, Silvana surged with a sense of purpose. She had to save Zadist, and this was the only way. The ONLY way, and she knew it. The girl bade Whyte goodbye, thanking him again for everything. He merely scoffed and dipped the brim of his hat at her. But then the car turned around and disappeared down the driveway, leaving Silvana standing alone at the entrance.

She clenched her hands into fists and turned, marching towards the gate and slipping through it easily due to her scrawny figure. Then she tore off towards the household, taking a deep breath before she pushed open the large front door and stepped inside. Silvana was just in time to hear another bellow of rage, as well as a shattering of something fragile. Lillith was in a horrible, HORRIBLE mood. God help her.

The occupants of the house seemed to freeze, staring openly at Silvana. After another shatter, however, the spell seemed broken. Knowing who she was, and guessing why she was here, the slaves and vampires scattered, tucking themselves into whatever hole they could find.

There was utter silence for a moment, before Lillith, who'd clearly smelled Silvana, came barrelling from her study, standing at the top of the stairs. "You DARE to come HERE? Human, you've a minute before I come for your throat!"

Silvana's insides writhed in terror. Her first instinct was to flee, like the smarter inhabitants of the space, looking for tiny chasms to fit themselves into and escape a fallen angel's wrath. But she didn't have that luxury. Inside, Silvana held her ground. She kept her fists tightened, and even took a few steps forward towards Lillith. Her lower lip trembled a little, her eyes prickling once more with the desire to cry. But she could not.

"Forgive my intrusion," Silvana said. Somehow she managed to stand up straight, though she wanted to cower in fear. "But I have come, Mrs. Dvorak, to beg you. BEG YOU. To save Zadist from Melody. I will do almost anything."

Lillith laughed, though it didn't reach her eyes. "Beg all you want. He has disobeyed me time and time again. He deserved that whore. He shouldn't have gotten with another human, anyway."

The vampiress moved down the stairs, painfully slow. "I couldn't wring that bitches neck, but I'll have fun squeezing the life from this one."

"He's still your son," Silvana pleaded. She should have been backing away from Lillith, especially if she had every intention to kill her. But instead, Silvana moved towards her. If she would die asking for help, so be it. She couldn't give up! "You love him, don't you? I know that you hate Melody. I hate her, too. She's the most horrible person I've ever met! But, I love Zadist. I don't want her to hurt him anymore. Please, kill me, if it will satisfy you. Hate me, if you want. But... Save him."

Silvana dropped her knees, practically offering herself up to the woman without hesitation. She would not try to escape or run away. "Maybe you loathe all human girls, and I can imagine why." Silvana recalled how Zadist's father had abandoned Lillith for a human girl, though she wasn't certain if Mrs. Dvorak knew that she knew. "Humans are... Bad, but. I'm trying. Please, Mrs. Dvorak... Lillith... Please save Zadist. Please."

Lillith's eyes narrowed at the female stepping towards her. "How could I love him? Zadist looks just like his good for nothing father! And no, I won't help him, either. And, bribing me with hatred for you won't help either. I already hate you. My son was mine again, until you took him away."

As Silvana dropped before her, Lillith laughed once more, grabbing her chin and tugging the female up. "No, I won't help him. Unless...." her eyes sparkled. "Would you be willing to givve up your family...friends...your very..life for Zadist?"

Silvana's gut wrenched. Her family, friends, and life? Her dreams? Why should she have to leave those things for him, when her friends were already socializing with vampires on their own? Her parents themselves had been taken by Melody, mere inches away from death. As of the time she'd known Zadist, she'd been regularly skipping out on school and missing the due dates for assignments, and possibly even her finals a week from now! It was though Silvana had given up everything already, for love of him. If she needed to get her degree in Atmospheric Science, anyway, she was certain the vampire would be happy to provide her with private tutors until she attained what she wanted... Even if regular daytime university studies were impossible for her while she was with him.

Silvana set her jaw firmly, her eyes fixed on the cruel vampire woman's face. She hated her, too. But at this moment, Silvana hated Lillith significantly less than she hated Melody. And to trump Melody, at this point, she was even willing to consider what Mrs. Dvorak meant by that statement. "What do you mean, give up everything? As long as I've been with Zadist, he has been the center of my universe, and... You're right. I probably would abandon everyone to be with him eventually. Why does that matter?"

Lillith's smile widened further. "Because it means giving up Zadist as well. Would you do it, to save him?" She pressed again, moving her hand to the girls neck, almost caressing it.

"I'll save him, but in exchange, you wouldn't be permitted to be with him. And you'd have to give up your comfortable little life. If you agree, I'll change you. It only takes one exchange of blood with me. And because of our laws..." She paused to laugh once more, "He couldn't be with you."

Silvana's blood curdled, almost, from the very suggestion of being changed into a vampire by Lillith Dvorak. Zadist hated his mother, too, and had sworn to kill her over her last treatment of Silvana. He'd already been so stressed out, between her and Melody. Now he'd been captured by Melody, giving all of himself to her merely to keep Silvana's parents out of harm's way. And what did this sick woman want, despite knowing that it would practically destroy her son if it happened? This was the thing, the very thing, he'd been trying to avoid with Melody--Silvana being captured and changed so that he could never, ever be with her again due to the laws of his kind.

"I can't do that," Silvana stated bluntly, shrinking away from the woman's hand on her neck. She shook her head frantically. "It's not that I'm not brave enough to do it, or that I wouldn't, for him. But that... That would hurt him more than I could even fathom. It's just as bad a fate for Zadist as an eternity with Melody. Surely there's something else you could ask from me. I won't do anything to hurt him."
